Tidy Cat Breeze XL Litter System was a literal take out of the box, insert a wee- pad and pour pellets and you’re ready to have Kitty jump inside. The system includes wee-pads, bottom, sifter middle where pellets go and the high sided surround, with opening for kitty to step through easily. Kit also includes a nice little scooper that you can hang from the side of your box. The way the pellets work is when kitty urinates, the urine falls through the pellets onto the wee-pad below. When kitty poos, it stays on top and pellets surround it. This is all you need to scoop out each day. The wee- pad is accessed by a little pull out drawer in the bottom. It’s so easy. My Kitty was put off by the odd feel or texture of the pellets. Except when he picked them up and ran away with them in his mouth. He hid them in multiple places around the house. He would retrieve them and bat them around. I would chase him to take it from him, but he ended up eating them. He ate at least one per day (or more when I wasn’t watching) After nearly 12 days into the review, I found a dehydrated pellet attaches to his heiny. I assume he ate it and it passed through his system. They are said to be safe for animals. I am taking them at their word. I love this system, the ease of cleaning up. Throwing away a pad after turning it around a couple times to use all surfaces, adding more pellets as needed. I ended up putting it away due to my crazy cat thinking pellets are food. I still highly recommend this Tidy Cat Breeze XL System. Both sisters have one and they are awesome for all shapes and sizes of cats. This one is particular is better for long body, long legged or fluffy or overweight cats. It will cut down on regular clumping or clay litter being stuck to their hind end fur too. I would advise looking at one in a store to see how massive it is. If you have a small breed, you will need the smaller size. If you have a side/corner sprayer or one who just seems to hike his tail up high to wee?
