I haven’t watched Deep Space 9 yet, but I know when I do I’m going to love it so much. I love TOS, which I’m watching now, and my biggest note for it was that I wanted to see more variation in the aliens. I NEEDED some more fucked up looking guys, ya know? DS9 stuff started showing up for me and it immediately satisfied exactly what I needed in my life.

Man who isn’t actually a man and is a undefined pile of goo? Absolutely yes please. Capitalistic criminal bastard (who is goo guy’s foil (romantically???)) with a noggin that is humongous?? Love it, give me more. Lizard man who is totally a spy but he’s Not A Spy he is a Simple Tailor and is ASTRONOMICALLY GAY??? What more would I ever need in my life?

I’m contemplating skipping over TNG to watch DS9 first and then going back to it. I am so excited for queer aliens that ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE ALIENS you have NO idea.
