Georgina could not stop her heart racing, she had tried breathing slowly to rid herself of the fangirl feeling internally, the two dogs were snoozing beneath the tree not fair out Henry's and Georgie's sight.

" so tell me something about yourself"! Henry smiled kindly at her, as they continued to chat sitting on the grass, Georgie didn't know where to put herself honestly she could have died instantly when Henry appeared out nowhere as if by ' magic'.

thanks Henry! Won't you be cold"? Georgie asked as they called the two snoozing dogs clipping their leads back to their collars they begun the walk toward the coffee shop in the park.

Kal, Henry's adorable black and white American atkita happily trotted alongside him while Frodo was in front of Georgie.

" What kinda books do you like to read"? Henry continued to ask with a polite smile.

" oh! I have a lit books at home! Mainly historical but I suppose the thing I'm into more is fantasy"! Georgie had now officially unleashed her real passion.

Henry nodded " historical and fantasy! Blimey quite the lethal combination there"! He jested.

Georgie laughed " Haha! You might think so! Not to me though I'll admit I am tempted to dive into the Witcher books though"!

Henry was surprised to learn that she had not yet gotten into the books already, " oh I love them! I've read oooh all eight of them"!

" All eight? No you haven't... you can't have done in one go"! Georgie asked incredulously.

" yes I did ok not in one sitting though! I read one after the other now I've played the Witcher 3 through twice"! Henry confessed.

" wow! That must've have took some discipline"! Georgie chuckled at him knowing full well that he was a serious gamer.

Henry made a face then answered " no not really! You just pretend the character"! At that moment Georgie wanted to confess to knowing who he was but something stopped her.

" I also love Warhammer 40,000 that's my hobby and when I'm not at work im either gaming or reading"! Henry smiled at her.

" what is warhammer if you don't mind telling me"? Georgie asked.

" Right! So you've got lots if different Armies all from different Kingdoms and in order to defeat the enemy you have to maintain your stronghold and wait for the enemy to show"! Henry explained in a soft tone.

Henry was totally head over heels for this woman but he didn't want to scare her off they had arrived at the coffee shop and he showed Georgie inside " Ladies First"! He smiled as he held the door for her. " Thankyou"! She murmured as she walked on in, the smell of coffee hitting her almost instantly.

" What would you like"? Henry asked her, he was a true gentlemen and there weren't many of them about these days. Mercifully Georgie had the patience to wait.

" What's your favourite coffee"? Georgie asked him.

" a lattè I think I'll go for that then Thankyou henry"! Georgie answered with a nervous smile.

The two dogs patiently waited outside while their owners were getting drinks, " why don't you keep on eye the dogs I'll get these"! Henry suggested.

Frodo, seemed to like Henry, as did Kal his American Akita who was huge like a bear a fluffy black and white bear.

After 20 minutes Henry returned to the table where Georgie was with the dogs Frodo and Kal, some strange reason Kal was refusing to leave Georginas side she happily gave him a fuss " fluffy bear yes you are great big fluffy bear bear"! Georgie fussed over him Henry watched on to see what his fluffy pet would do, it seemed he was fond of this woman that theyd just met down at the dog park.

Chevilous Henry ever the gent helped Georgina sit down outside on the pinick bench, once settled they begun to talk again whilst the two pooches snoozed beneath the bench at their feet.

" Is that what you do when you have a day off work.... play abit of Warhammer"! Georgina quizzed with a smile that her blue sparkly eyes. " yes I also read books too"! Henry heard a sigh of relief leave her, " that was a big sigh for little woman"! Henry smiled with a wink. " Something we have in common"! Georgina lamented, he could not stop but focus on that lovely smile.

" Exactly"! Henry smiled.

" what do tour family say about you having ' gaming geekness'? Georgina chuckled Henry's eyes went wide ' Gaming Geekness I like that where did you get that one from"? Henry asked her with a affectionate smile.

" In answer to your question .... my family support in it they love it as much as I do"! Came his reply.

" Wait a minute! You and your brothers play Warhammer together"? Georginas eyes widened " oh no not more gaming geekies yikes I'm going to have seriously brush up on Warhammer .... wheres best to start"? Georgina asked.

I found myself missing Dad!Sy and his chaotic family from my earlier story Homecoming, so I decided to bring them back for a little festive drabble!

This was inspired by the 'Santa suit' prompt from the lovely @winter2112rose .

Sacred Heart Elementary’s Christmas party had been a success for everyone except eight year old Alexander Syverson. Still in his elf costume, he slammed the door, launched himself onto the couch, crossed his arms and sulked. Being raised in a military family meant that Alexander didn’t get away with temper tantrums for too long. His father, Jack, peered around the living room door, then searched his wife Sarah’s face for an answer.

“Alex had a bad time at the party.” Sarah’s eyes softened. “Go easy on him, Jack.”

Jack replied with a grunt, then approached his son.

“Hey buddy, Momma tells me you had some trouble at school today, is that right?”

Alexander huffed. His eyes were red and puffy. “Sorta.”

Jack’s brow furrowed. “Whaddya mean sorta?”

Alexander took off his hat, scrunching it nervously in his tiny hands. “Daddy, is Santa Claus real? Emmett McAllister said he’s made up. He made fun of me in front of everyone.”

Jack crouched down to his son’s level. “You know how sometimes I go on secret missions? Ones I can’t tell anybody about?”

Alexander shook his head.

“NORAD is how they track Santa every Christmas. I was one of the guys in the control room, and I saw his sleigh take off that night.”

Alexander’s eyes widened. “Really?” He squealed.

“Really.” Jack nodded. “So whatever Emmett McAllister told you, it’s a load of bullsh-“ He stopped himself mid-sentence – “it’s a big ol’ lie. And you know what else?” He shot his son a conspiratorial grin. “I happen to know for a fact that Emmett is on the naughty list.”

Alexander sat up straight then. “Am I on the nice list?”

“You bet.” Jack ruffled his son’s hair. “The Syversons are always on the nice list. Go on upstairs.”

With that, Alexander shot off.

Sarah leaned against the doorframe. “I know one Syverson who won’t be on the nice list this year.”

“Oh yeah?” He grasped his wife by the waist, pulling her against him.

“Sometimes being naughty is more rewarding than being nice.” She lilted, trailing her hands down his chest, making him jolt a little as she travelled further downward.

He responded with a low growl.

Normally, she would never consider a dog park of all places to catch a guy, but as Poppy said " needs must"! Well she didn't actually say that she hinted it. Walking though the gates at the top of the park, Frodo's ears pricked up at the sound of dogs barking.

Georgie and frodo continued their walk down to the dog park, it was the middle of Janurary and still very cold fog all about the place so visability was poor in a car walking on the other hand appeared to be ... just fine.

Wrapping up against the clams was essential for Georgie as she was a declite little thing and could easily catch a cold and with the flu going about as well with elderly people getting sicker and ending up in hospital.... probably not the best time to come out but the dog had to have his exercise and it would Georgina good to get some too.

Her iphone was in her coat pocket and decided to concentrate on the naturalism around her. She took in a brisk breath of fresh air.

She'd walked the path in the park so many times she knew it like the back of her hand.

Suddenly, this huge black and white American fluffy atkita came gambolwing toward her and Frodo, had no way of defence so Georgie hurriedly tucked his lead and pulled him away, but the Akita was not giving up, he begun to bark at Frodo, barked back at him.

" Kal! Leave him alone hes only little far too small for you pal"! A voice shouted after the atkita.

When Georgina looked she could not believe her eyes she was actually standing in the park with her secret celebrity crush .... Henry Cavill she kept regained her senses and had tight on to Frodo's lead.

" Frodo shh look he wants to play! Georgina tentatively slackened the lead, Frodo was curious at first just stood there silent, the atkita gently approached him Frodo the Frenchie.

Terrified shaking, Georgie looked at the dogs owner worked that the atkita might attack him, the owner of the dog tries distracting the massive atkita but it fails, " Will he bite my dog"? She asked him nervously.

" No absolutely not Kal doesn't bite anyone do you buddy"! The owner fussed him, Georgie watched the huge man stick out his hand toward Frodo, " Does he bite"? The huge man asked with a smile that reached his eyes. " No hes as a calm as they come"! Georgie answered with smile., she looked at the huge man with a beard and thought she had seen him before, Georgie begun to squeal internally, she grabbed her phone suddenly she regnoized him ...... it was him .... it was Superman Clark Kent/Charles Brandon Duke of Suffolk.

" hello little one! Hey it's okay"! The man cooed at Frodo Kal obidently sar beside his master, " see Kal! This nice dogs not going to hurt you"! The man smiled, Georgie took a step closer toward Frodo, " we theres no need to ask what your name is there dude? Your Kal aren't you"? Georgie smiled stratching the soft atkita behind ears.

" so! What's your name"? The huge man asked with a flashing board smile, georgie was a little nervous at first to answer him as she tentatively sat beside Frodo on the grass, " oh my names Georgina but my closest friends call me Georgie"! She repiled trying to avert the man's gaze, his eyes were so blue with a brown tint in the left one.

" Well it's a pleasure to meet Georgina! He stuck out his huge hand for her to shake, she put her small hand into his and fingers wrapped around it like a glove,  " I'm Henry .... Henry Cavill and this is anti naughty at the moment barking mad best friend Kal"! Georgie felt the blood rush to her ears she could hear her own heart beating fast as if it was doing F1 lap at Silverstone. " breathe georgie breathe"! She reminded herself, as she sat there, she felt that she could trust the handsome man's word and let Frodo off his lead for a run, as did Henry with Kal.

" Go on then go play"! Georgie encouraged her own dog to play with Kal. Georgina begun to relax in Henry's presence he had such a beautiful face and that smile she loved that smile. " I haven't seen you here before"! Georgie lamented with a flashing smile, she too had ocean blue eyes and Red russet hair tied back in a ponytail.

" Haven't you? Lord above! ... thats strange"! Georgie continues to chat, I come to walk Frodo every day in fact every morning when I can be bothered to eventually wrangle myself out of bed ... that's on a weekend though only"! She emphasized the only with her first finger on her hand. Henry's mind begun to whirl about this gorgeous young woman who he'd surprisingly not seen before.

I’ve never watched Point break. Is it any good?

Yes!! It’s amazing. It’s a go to fave of mine whenever I need a pick me up. Love, action, humor. It’s campy at times, but you get tons of surfer guys and baby face Keanu always shirtless and/or wet. What’s not to love. Watch it and let me know what you think!

You’ve been dating August for around a month now and in that month, August had boasted about his cooking skills, claiming he could cook anything you wanted. However, you had yet to see him actually make you something to eat. He always took you out for lunch and dinner, so it was safe to say you did not buy his ‘I’m an excellent cook’-story he had been trying to sell to you. 

So, you had come up with a hypothesis: 

When one puts ingredients in front of August Walker, he is unable to create something edible and not poisonous from it. 

You were well aware this would probably leave a dent in his ego, but he himself was at fault. You got he wanted to make a great impression on you when you were in the pre-relationship phase, but he did not need to lie about it.

The groceries you packed in the crate loudly landed on the counter. ‘What you got there?’ August asked curiously. 

‘Ingredients,’ you answered. ‘Since you, my darling August, can cook anything my heart desires, I’d really like for you to cook it. Chicken Alfredo, pretty please.’

Finding one: Pure shock detected in his eyes. Appears uneasy at the idea of cooking.

‘What?’ he asked, after he got over his initial shock.

‘Come on, mister master chef, make me something good. I’ll be in the living room.’ You pressed a kiss on his cheek. ‘Good luck.’ Because you need it you added in your head.

Finding two: The first bandaid is pulled from the emergency kit.

Finding three: The chicken cooked too fast, therefore (assumed because of the distance between the couch and the kitchen) not golden brown.

Finding four: The second bandaid is pulled from the emergency kit.

Finding five: The milk and Parmesan cheese are assumed not to mix well. This is based on the almost offensive odor that is filling the room. 

Finding six: The fire alarm works just fine.

Finding seven: A window has now been opened to get rid of the excessive amounts of smoke filling the first floor.

‘Help,’ August said in a desperate tone as he marched into the living room, his hair not so neatly in place anymore. Not much was left of your unfazed boyfriend. ‘I need help.’

You obviously were going to milk this. ‘Why?’ you asked. 

‘I can’t cook,’ he then confesses. ‘I lied. I just wanted to impress you, especially when it became obvious you loved food.’

You knew it. ‘Then why didn’t you just come clean?’

‘I was embarrassed.’

‘You do know you can’t take me out for lunch and dinner forever, right? Delay is the beginning of great defeat, my dear August.’

He frowned. ‘You gotta go all wise on me now?’

You let out a chuckle. ‘Well, I now can say that my hypothesis was correct. When one puts ingredients in front of August Walker, he is unable to create something edible and not poisonous from it.’

As you walked to the kitchen, August groaned. ‘You made this nerdy?’

‘Yeah I did,’ you laughed, taking in the mess in the kitchen. Chicken was black. The milk and Parmesan cheese indeed did not mixed well. And poor guy hadn’t even started on the pasta. ‘How about some cooking lessons?’ you suggested. ‘From yours truly. I’ll be a gentle tutor.’

He nodded. ‘Yeah, I definitely need that.’
