Yo, I heard this song called “hero n villain duet” by Natalie Chavez. I immediately thought of Myrvin and Jackie, I imagined that after a hero mission gone wrong (that failed with lots of innocents dying or something like that) that they both argued and Myrvin started to distance himself from Jackie. The song resulting from Myrvin hurt and Jackie trying to reach out and comfort him. With Myrvin trying to refuse the comfort and push Jackie away out of being overwhelmed and being reminded by what happened. Especially with lyrics of “let me be your knight in shining armor” “ you once held my hand” Jackie vibes 🥺 and thinking about Myrvin saying “you’re not my hero” to Jackie is just really heartbreaking 😭😭😭(lol maybe it just me but thought I’d share)

I do imagine if Jackie and Myrvin have an argument and it starts getting overwhelming for Myrvin he’ll isolate himself either by getting stuck in his own head or not reaching out to Jackie in fear it’s only gonna make things worse. But both getting stuck in his head and not reaching out doesn’t make anything better either.

So it either takes Myrvin to FORCE himself to just TALK to Jackie and resolve the argument or Jackie recognizing Myrvins starting to become self destructive and they start talking and resolving the argument

But that really only happens when Myrvin gets overwhelmed usually they’re pretty good about communication and resolving the problem together like the team they are even if things get really heated for Jackie and he just needs space to cool down and think

Both of them hate when things get like this so the longest it’ll last is about a day or so but fortunately they don’t argue too often

And they find the best way to feel better after they resolve an argument is to cuddle on the couch and watch TV

ALSO on the “your not my hero” that is awfully heartbreaking for Jackie but I imagine since they both used to be heros together earlier in their relationship Jackie will tell him “but your my hero” and with what I see them arguing about mostly (hero related stuff) that line will probably finally get Myrvin to slightly open up (and cry) and accept his comfort

Oh and if a hero mission does fail with a lot of people dying they probably know that they did the most they could do and it’s really the villains fault theyll just take a week off from being a hero to recover from the mental and physical toll that will have on them

Yes Nach Henrik screm for now he has FIERCE BIRB ARMY!! (I’m glad people like it, I stayed up way later than I should have to finish it but so worth it :3) But I gotta know how does Nach Henrik feel now about his ever growing birb cult/army?

Allison I just learned something the other day. Perytons are known for eating the hearts of their enemies …I can only imgine how that conversation would go for Hugo and Aven:

Aven: Oh I eat veggies, nuts, fruit, the hearts of my enemies, oh and I really like sunflower and pumpkin seeds!

They are fun and exiting to see! Additionally, your long tags always bring me joy? They are silly and chaotic, you find every little detail, and everything you say it an utter joy to read.

@cgbk10 I don’t think I’ve ever said this, but I love your art style. It’s so fun and elegant plus the colours you choose are always so pretty and striking! Additionally just— every time I see your Marvin I’m just floored. HES SO COOL LOOKING HOW COULD ONE NOT! Plus, though no jse, the ocs you showed recently are also so cool looking and I want to know where they go shopping for clothing, for no reason in particular. But honestly everything you make is done so amazingly and beautiful or just AAAAAAA and your characters are amazingly designed too, I love seeing your work!

First and Foremost, happy new year!!!

I just wanted to reflect on some things Sean touched on in his most recent video, specifically the part where he talked about not feeling “good enough” to post more “thematic based” videos.

His entire tangent really really REALLY resonated with me, to the point where I’ve literally said those EXACT same things in my own life.

It’s very hard to create and even harder to get it out there for people to react to and criticize.

Obviously, the difference between him and the average person is that if he posts something out of his normal content, he’s at the mercy of thousands of people either gassing up the content so much that it’s the best thing since sliced bread or completely shitting on him without any regard that he’s an actual human being…while I just have you lovely folks on tumblr. Even still, it’s fucking TERRIFYING to put art out there!

So, even though Sean isn’t on tumblr anymore, I wanted to direct this more at myself and any of you who are thinking about posting art on tumblr ( ESPECIALLY fanfiction). TRUST YOURSELF!

Trust that your idea is bomb and that your story is needed. Believe that there will never be anyone who writes like you, and that comparing yourself to others is useless, cause you AREN’T them! Your stories matter, your voice MATTERS!

I know that the lack of reblogs and comments can be a downer, trust me those things are so helpful and there’s no shame in feeling discouraged by the lack of numbers and interaction. But, please believe me when I tell you that, without your writing, someone could be missing out on a cool take on the egos or feel elated that someone had that idea and wrote it! Just keep at it, my love! And for any readers out there, your voice is just as important as the writers. Your love for our work and you visibly showing it through comments and reblogs with comments in the tags, does SO much more then you think.

So the apple orchard ocs, who is an outdoor vs indoor person? What are their favorite activities to do inside/outside?

Jackies an outdoor person! He likes going on runs to help exert any extra energy and after adopting Rufus he will also go on runs with him!

Myrvins an indoor person, he lives in Ireland and he hates how cold he gets outside so sometimes Jackie will drag him out on a sunny day because going outside once a while is important but his favorite activity is making a nice batch of tea and reading a book in comfy clothes or practicing his magic!

Jamie is an outdoor person! But he likes the feeling of being outside so he’ll just sit somewhere around his farm and just observe his farm

Charlie used to be indoor but after having his kids he started becoming a more outdoor person for them! So his favorite activity is to go to the park with his daughters!

Elrach is outdoor since that’s where a lot of innocent civilians are at >:3

And Henrik is outdoor! Since their always inside for work going outside is a nice break from the stresses of work! They mostly likes to go on a walk and feel the air around them

So I don’t have much info right now

Mainly because I plan on really changing his design

And I want his design to help me develop his character from there

So I dont have much info on him at the moment

A group chat for birb club sounds interesting. You could ask if everyone else is interested and make one (maybe make a post and @ everyone in birb club?). Also if you did would it be like a discord server or some other form of group chat?

Yknow I just remembered that tumblr has a group chat feature. But I’ve never used it so I have no idea how it works. I have a discord, but I don’t know how to use it well enough to run a sever lol.

I’m still not entirely sure since I don’t think I’d have the dedication to run it or stay super active on it (besides sharing animal tiktoks)

18 birbs and a few pending??? 😨 …that’s a lot of birbs so many birb (and I thought when I joined 7 was pushing it >w<). That means if I ever wanna redraw my birb club photo I have a lot more work to do TwT. I think the birbs are gonna need a bigger bird club house and another tree(s).

Lmao I didn’t know how big this club would get! I also didn’t expect so many people wanting to join! And yeee I’ve got some work to do if I want to get all the birbs drawn for Easter

Myrvin will always go for sweets/salty foods! So he really likes going to bakery’s and picking up a small treat like a cupcake! and his favorite drink is Vanilla Coke!

Jackies is comfort foods! Especially warm/hot foods so he tends to go for either fast food places that sell fries or Pizza and his favorite drinks is coffee with lots of Carmel cream and milk in it

And yea I’m completely ok with people drawing my characters!! :D

Though I’ll be honest I didn’t actually know how to get the link for the discord server to work otherwise I would have joined, so pardon me there!
