I’m craving to write some fun smut and revel in it with my rp partner. I’m looking for an rp partner who is as dirty as me, but who is also respectful with the limits I set. I do have them. I will not mention them here, but we can discuss them in detail while plotting. I can also promise to be just as respectful with the limits you set and not push your boundaries. I’m looking for an rp partner with a similar time zone to mine(which is PST), so EST, PST, CT, MT etc… I will accept. I will not rp with AEST, GMT or similar time zones because frankly, I love rapid replies, especially for smut text style rps and paras.

I understand that some people with learning disabilities may struggle with writing, which is why I'll ask for verification if necessary. That said, if your writing consistently has significant grammar, punctuation, or spelling issues, it’s something I personally find difficult to tolerate. There is a difference between occasional errors and lack of proofreading because you’re careless. I will politely ask you to proofread your work once, but if the issues persist, I will stop writing with you.

Writing is a serious hobby for me, and I have high standards. I give my absolute best with every reply because I want you to enjoy reading to the fullest. I expect the same with your replies.

So, turtles in the Lands Between are generally known for these traits: wisdom, protection and stamina. This is conveyed through text, such as the sorcerer rises calling them "Wise Beasts", the Great Turtle Shell Shield for protection, and the Green Turtle Talisman and Pickled Turtle Neck Meat referencing stamina. What is easily overlooked because it only appears in visual and "show don't tell" moments is that Turtles were once considered to be tricksters and keepers of secrets. The pattern etched into the Turtle Talisman is the same criss-cross over mouth motif that is used on the Preceptor's Mask of Confidence. The spirit turtles outside the Oridys, Testu, and Chelona Rises use tricks and distraction and concealment tactics to avoid being caught, and the tricks get progressively more elaborate in a way that suggests that perhaps Oridys Rise was the first and Chelona Rise the last constructed in sequence.

So, with that in mind, Chelona Rise seems to represent a turning point - the last of the sorcerers to value turtles as being wise for their trickery. The story of Chelônê gives a hint about the kinds of outside forces that caused this shift in attitude: The Greek story of the tortoise goes that there was a mountain nymph (an oread -rock person) named Chelone who lived beside a river. When Hermes invited all of the gods, men and animals to the wedding of Hera and Zeus, only Chelone did not attend - mocking the union by her absence. So Hermes threw Chelone's home on her back and transformed her into the lazy tortoise that carries its home with it wherever it goes. In Elden Ring this may be equated to a kind of imprisonment - a sorcerer who valued the turtles for their Trickster spirit becomes trapped in the fleshy prison of a forced transformation into the creature as a Deus Ex Machina.

And this also why I think that Miriel could be considered a descendent of Chelone. Because if the gods will change a creature's nature as a first offense, what would they do for a second? There's one sure way to never miss another wedding, and that is to camp out in the church and become the pastor who presides over the weddings. The secrets still need to be kept, but instead of being a clever Trickster the wisdom of the turtles redirects into protection - to be as immovable as a rock - the Wisdom of Stone.

And maybe a follow-up question would be to ask why is Ranni's Dark Moon found in Chelona Rise? I would guess that it shows that Ranni has been to Chelona Rise, and perhaps she learned the tragedy of Chelona and left the spell behind to commemorate this. The Dark Moon spell does briefly encase the caster in the shell of the moon - before shedding it away.

Does anybody have any leads on who Chelona is supposed to be?

How do you think ml would have gone if Marinette had the turtle? I'm up for any miraculous that doesn’t make her the main heroine. Let others (who actually want the job) deal with that, because as far as canon goes, I'm pretty sure that the only ones who actually WANT to be heroes are: Lila, Chloé, Alya and Adrien (not really heroes, but more like the powers)

Honestly that would be pretty ideal. Turtle would be vital, but not to the extent that Ladybug is. Turtle would be a front lines role, but exclusively support and defense. And based on Fu's test for Marinette, she'd fall into that role naturally as she's willing to take risks to help another. And technically Turtle should have an edge over Butterfly, so whoever is LB wouldn't be as overwhelmed or pressured.

And unlike Adrien, Marinette’s defense would be more smart than risky throwaways that leaves the team down a member. Not to say it would never happen, but it would be a rarity.

Marinette and Wayzz would also be a good match. He can be calm and level headed and help ground her when she starts overthinking. He's also the sort to take note of his humans interest and adopt them, so he'll be very engaging with her.

do u know any origami artists who really like their sink folds? really craving that rn

DO I The most sinks I've encountered in a model was without a doubt while folding Satoshi Kamiya's praying mantis a while back (video of me doing that) (unfinished model by me). If you're folding this one be sure to have some really thin paper on hand though, I couldn't do it with printer paper, I think the recommended weight was like 30gr per square meter. Anyway your ask made me laugh because "mr kamiya does love his sinks" was my exact tag on this fish model I folded. This one is much easier though! I did it with some leftover double tissue paper I made myself that definitely was a bit subpar. Both the mantis and the fish are from his book "Origami Works of Satoshi Kamiya 3", that you can find on Z-Library. I've only folded two models of his but that's enough for me to decide he does love sinks lol.

I can't think of another one where I've noticed sink folds, although I do like them more myself now, sometimes if a corner needs to be tucked in and the instructions go for a simple mountain fold I'll add a little sink myself ;) as a treat.

Anyone feel free to chime in in the replies if you've got sink heavy model reccs!

hmm. i'd say yes, chel is a lady of many talents, but as for hobbies... her favorite things to do are gambling and sneaking into parties, but i'm not sure those count. the only non-criminal activity she does consistently enough to call it one is getting high with her friends. she started #blazing it after high-school because a girl she was seeing at the time was growing a few plants at home. they remained pals and she's still her dealer 😌 but if that doesn't count as a hobby, then she might honestly not have any. maybe driving? she does like driving fast 🤔

A repeated fight that he's been having with his Tribrid girlfriend. [Because everything Landon has ever done has gone unnoticed]

Hope was completely caught off guard with what her boyfriend had just said to her, but she had to admit...she wasn't exactly the type that praised ANYONE as much as they probably should be praised. That went doubly for Landon, as sometimes she might take advantage of the fact that he loved her so much that he was always on her side.

Even the greatest love could get derailed because of that, and a sinking feeling in her gut surfaced. She didn't give him enough credit. It was clear in the way that his outburst had come out. "You're right...I'm sorry, and you're right..."

wrough. idk. i really dont pay too much attention to what's getting published unless i am waiting for something. so it's just alecto the ninth ("""just""". book that will change the timeline tbh) and . well. the jasper fforde shades of gray #2 book he says will come out next year (doubt it!)

great question for me, guy who sets blog notifs to get thru the day. im looking forward to fic from @miafeystits (tgaa boy besties!), @emotionsandphenomena (canaan house time loop!), and @bisekcual (multiple fantastic acofaf fics!). bowie's also working on an essay on christofascism that im really excited for, and im sure ari will be posting more de mechanical breakdowns or other interesting essays. @chelonates essays & substack are amazing -- working thru their recent de piece rn and it's SO good. @olreid's currently reading tag is the cream in my coffee and their video essay on representation absolutely ruled. for news i mainly just read the times + crosscut (local news site) and/or listen to npr, but ive liked what ive read from in these times. literally if you or anyone has news recs i would really like to expand my sources
