#throwback of dinner the other night that I cooked up (with help from @vickihhp 😊) Was the first time cooking up a full on #Korean feast, and while it appeared easy on paper, there was a lot of prep to do 😧 While the taste wasn't exactly on point, it was overall quite tasty and I learnt lots on how to improve for next time 👌 What I managed to cook up that night was: 불고기 (Beef Bolgogi), 잡채 (Japchae), 숙주나물 (Seasoned Bean Sprout), and 어묵볶음 (Stir-fried Fish Cake) 😋 ~~~ #omnomnomnom #fattychoi #chefchoi #choiboisfoodjourney #buddies #homecooked

Last night's dinner that I whipped up 😁🍽️ Cooking over at a friend's place always has its challenges. "Do they have this?" "Do they have that?" 🤔 But I think I did well 😏 Pretty obvious it was a Japanese themed night 😅🇯🇵 Chicken Katsu with Japanese Curry for mains 🍛, Japanese Salad and Miso Soup for sides 🥗, and Matcha Cheesecake made by @hailey.fung for dessert 🍰. Cooked up another feast again the other night 🍽️ Went for a Japanese theme this time round 🇯🇵 The menu consisted of Karaage, Yakisoba, and a side of salad 👌 TBH I quite enjoy being able to cook up decent food and share it with my friends. Can't remember the last time I cooked a proper Western dish, and it's been even longer since I've cooked for other people 😰 But when I do, I cook to impress! 👌😉 Beef Wellington with a side of potato mash and saute vegetables 🍽️ All made from scratch!
