forgive my dumbassery, especially if i lost it being mentioned on text, but in the newest BS chapter jon asks sansa if it is homework, the cheesecakes she made. is she going to pastry school or something of the kind?

Ian sighs and seems to slump back in his chair a little, his wide shoulders dropping. Mickey chews slower, his narrowed eyes flitting between him and Lip.

“You know it’s never that easy.”

“Please,” Lip says, obviously amused now. He’s wearing the face every older sibling does when they can’t wait to hear their younger sibling explain their dumbassery. “Enlighten us.”

Ian’s face scrunches, his freckled nose wrinkling, and he looks younger, that baby face briefly breaking through.

listen, this whole isolation thing is driving me up the walls and bc we have to stay inside during these times it wouldn’t be fit to go to the grocery store just bc i’m craving chocolate. but i’m sure you can all agree that when that sweet tooth is kicking in (esp when on your period, let’s face it) you gotta feed it. so i thought i should share some recipes that i’ve done a million times and are top quality tested and approved

get your baking trays and chocolate chips ready bc we’ll have to stay inside for a long time, but that doesn’t mean we can’t also have a good time; just make sure you buy the ingredients you need when on your next grocery run and you’ll be set for a week (or in my bf’s case, one day). don’t forget to wash your hands!

Mary Berry’s Chocolate Brownies - i’m sure that if you know who Mary Berry is, you also know that these brownies are the best brownies you’ll ever taste; i usually make these once a week for the bf who could eat them on a daily

Peanut Butter S’mores Blondies - try saying that 5 times fast; listen, i know these sound like a lot and they are; they’re very rich and heavy but one piece of this and you’ll forget you’re in isolation

1) Narusasu/Sasunaru (of course. like who do you take me for??? Lol. they'll always be my number 1 :'D They have such a special place in my heart. And I have nothing to add about them because if I start I'll never shut up.)

Harold/Sam/Nobu from the Canis Series (The Speaker) are The OT3, thank you very much. Never in my life have I ever fell in love so deep with a poly ship (CANON. CANON POLY SHIP) with three broken boys that are currently the "villians" of the story. Heartbreaking, full of angst ship, yet so beautiful. (IF YOU EVER READ THIS. [WHICH I REC SM] BE WARNED THAT THE STORY IS DARK. THE FIRST PART NO, BUT THIS SPECIFIC PART [THE SECOND] IS FULL OF DARK SHIT. Amazingly well-written and heart-wrenching but. Yeah. It's dark and heavy. Idk to describe HOW much but it is.)

Andddd Yuiji/Yamato from Koimonogatari, bc even if they're not canon I'm so rooting for them??? I hope they get together bc they DESERVE each other. They're just so sweet and their relationship is SO real and natural idek how to describe this warm feeling that fills me every time I see them. (Just for a bit of context, Yamato is gay and likes Yuiji's best friend. But for reasons, Yuiji realizes this, tells Yamato, and after Yamato Panics Yuji assures him he's not going to tell anyone bc he actually Likes Him As A Person (quoting) and he doesn't want to hurt him. They become friends and then get closer and become Friends who trust each other way too much and it's just really sweet how fond Yuiji is of Yamato??? My heart swells. He just looks at him with the softest eyes and [I know I said this was going to be brief but you know me already, you really thought I was going to be brief????? Haha no sir] he's so understanding??? He's always listening to Yamato without judging, asking him if he's okay, worrying about him, CARING, and cheering him up, it's just???? Even if they don't get together, they're the purest friendship ever.

Last movie you watched:

I just watched The Fundamentals of Caring yesterday. Paul Rudd is shining as always, of course. Kind of dark humor with a slice of romance and emotional shit that left me crying lol. It was really really good imo, perfect Teens Who Don't Give a Shit and Adopting a New Family vibes. Messy but really well-done imo. (I'm just rec and promoting every thing I watch/read/ship at this point huh...)

Reading:

I'm currently reading only mangas AAAA, hahaha. I'm with Koimonogatari (still on going), Owari no Seraph, Haikyuu!!, The Speaker, Red White and Royal Blue (first and only book on this list lol), Omamorishimasu Dokomademo (hope I wrote this correctly loool), Kimi wa Natsu no Naka and Blue Sky Complex :))

Next on my reading list:

Seven Days (bc I heard this manga is Gold), Origin (a manga I bought months ago and never read), L's light-novel (The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases), Himitsu, and Golden Days.

Also, I made a bow with myself to read every single last manga Hayakawa Nojiko has made because their art is the most stunning, poetic, alluring thing I've ever laid my eyes on. So simple yet so, so unbelievable pretty. Also, their mangas are so so so good and so so so sweet and well-written??? Best mangaka goes to Hayakawa-sensei.

And from books, "Last Night I sang to the Monster" has been on my I-need-to-read-this list since soooo long. Benjamín is my favorite author. I hope I can give me some time to read it later.

What food are you craving right now:

For some reallyyyy weird reason, sea-food??? Lmao I don't even know. My cravings have been varying from fried-chicken burger from KFC to That Strawberry Cheesecake from SAM's lmao. It's pretty weird. But right now???? Give me shrimps. Fish. I'm In Need. Looool.

Can we just have ONE DAY or a WHOLE WEEK without seeing post after post about those stupid protests and riots!? I mean-and pardon my french for saying this and I apologize in advance to everyone reading this-BUT WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THOSE PEOPLE!?

Destroying businesses, dishonoring and destroying historical landmarks/sites, rioting and setting stuff on fire, looting stores-HELL! SOMEBODY LOOTED FROM A GAMESTOP AND ALSO LOOTED FROM A DAMN CHEESECAKE FACTORY! THe guy came out with a WHOLE CHEESECAKE IN BOTH HANDS I saw on a picture! A WHOLE CHEESECAKE PEOPLE!

Ya know there are good kinds of protests and BAD KINDS-Good ones are peaceful, quiet and silent protests that are safe, secure and NOBODY IS acting like jackasses! NOW THE BAD KIND WHICH were seeing this weekend-its just sickening-just sooo damn sickening!

Is this any way to honor a fallen human being? BY ACTING LIke Neanderthals!? Like acting live savages and feral humans getting into fights, climbing onto cars and buses and swinging your weapons in the air like you just don't care!? Uh uh! THAT IS NO WAY TO HONOR A MAN! Trump and his Court of the Corrupted have turned the United States into the Divided States of America and I for one am SICK OF HOW THIS HAS BEEN GOING! There are people struggling to survive and live! There are those fighting for their lives against the virus! There are those struggling to keep the country together as their on the front lines to shelve items in the grocery stores, curbside pickup at restaurants and local libraries and families doing their best to help their children and find a way to keep occupied and working during the crisis.

There are MILLIONS suffering right now and these riots are just gonna skyrocket the virus in each state that is rioting! There are people who don't follow the rules or show consideration of the rules-Whatever happened to the America I knew January and February before all this happened? What happened to everyone living their lives normally, working at their jobs, going to the library to check out books, go shopping of all kinds to get what they need or get a new set of clothes, going to a hair cut salon for a new do. What happened to everyone having fun at conventions, social events, bars, movies-anywhere? What happened to the people with birthdays who looked forward to having fun with their friends and make memories. What happened to the students who would go to school each day and bond with their pals and complain about how much homework the teacher gave?

What happened to my life? Going about my usual routine, get ready for work be it in the afternoon or a Saturday Morning waking up early, prepping and having breakfast before heading out? What happened to seeing my coworkers and wishing them a Hello or good night? What happened to shelving lots of books and checking in tons of books along with a busy Sunday getting a hundred or less holds! What happened to picking up the newest holds from the library or others? Sighh~I miss that and there isn't a day that goes by that I think about my life and how I stuck to a routine while on my days off I spiced things up or planned something nice like bike ride to some of my favorite places or seeing a movie. The last movie I saw was My Hero Academia Heroes Rising back at the end of february in the afternoon because it was busy in the evening. The last event i ever went to was Anime Milwaukee-BEST WEEKEND ever because it was tons of fun and I still got pictures to upload along with video footage.   :)

Right now, I don't know how long it'll be until I see my library again, when I'll see my coworkers again, when I'll be able to get holds, shelf, and check in items. I don't know when it'll be safe to get a hair cut without finding out the salonist has COVID19 (I am waiting til the end of June because it might be coast clear for hair salons by then maybe). When will I ever see a movie in theaters and dealing with the changes their doing with contact-less interaction for tickets and food. When will I ever step inside a book store like half price or the mall to check out my favorite stores and arcade? When will things ever get back to the normal I once knew even if it'll be different.

As someone with Mild Autism (Aspergers), it can take awhile to get used to changes or to memorize things until you know exactly what you have to do and I always write stuff down to keep track and look back on especially where I left off in a book. I know there is gonna be much to adjust to when I get back to work and to a semi-normal life once this virus tries to die down.

I know everyone of us is going to have a tough time adjusting to these changes in our lives, trying to find a way to steer clear path on how to guide through the bumps and obstacles that lay before us. I know right now there is a lot of confusion, uncertainty, chaos, and worry-but we shouldn't lose hope. We should not give up-not on ourselves or our country. America is our home, its where we grew up, its where we came to start anew, its where we started from the ground up, its where we found ourselves, its where we found true love, its where we made a family, its where memories begin and dreams take flight.

The United in America stands for being united, strong, together as one...yet these days it seems Divided, loner, solo, out for yourselves. We need to restore the United in America. We need to take back our home from the corruption that resides in the White House. We need to take back what is ours. We need to make sure that Trump is out of that office be it November or Sooner. It doesn't matter who we are, where we came from, what we look like-WE ALL HAVE SOULS, we all have hearts, we all bleed the same red blood, we all have dreams, we all have doubts, we all have loved ones and families, we all have role models, but most of all deep down.....we all have hope.

Each bit of hope is a little ember that warms your heart, that keeps you fueled to keep going....but combine those embers together into a metaphoric mighty inferno flame-Hope's light will pierce through the darkness of Despair that we find ourselves in. Never let your Ember of Hope burn out, never let despair engulf you.
