I know all your favorite spots; tonight we will connect the dots → Kum Chatzy
TAGGING → Sam Evans & Kurt Hummel
TIME FRAME → Friday, August 16th
LOCATION → Sam & Kurt's apartment, bedroom
NOTES → After a few texts, Sam awaits a surprise in his bedroom. Um, a blowjob happens.
Sam sent the last text message and shoved his phone into his pocket, as he struggled to open the door for a moment. It must have been excitement that was throwing him off. He couldn't help himself to get overly excited when Kurt seemed to be in the mood. It was a big risk to ask of this favor from Kurt, so it was quite a surprise when he accepted. He didn't want to pressure his boyfriend into anything he didn't want to do, but he couldn't help to be aroused at the thought of Kurt being completely bare in front of him so he could draw him. After opening the door and rushing towards the bedroom, Sam stopped once he opened the door to see Kurt with nothing on, but boxers. "Hello, there," He sighed out, almost breathless.
Kurt had trouble holding back a smile, even though his heart was racing in his chest. At first, the question had thrown him off a little, made him wonder if he should get involved in something so intimate and private, when someone else would see it -- all of him, really. But in the back of his head, he knew that if he said no, Sam would have to find another subject to draw and that was the main reason he had hesitated with instantly refusing the offer. And, really, the longer he thought about it, the better it actually sounded. He wasn't really into showing off his body; even when he was being intimate with Sam (which didn't happen that often, but still) he was still shy and extra careful. He couldn't give all of himself to his boyfriend just yet and he couldn't tell him the real reason why he couldn't. But he would be lying if he said the idea of being drawn by Sam wasn't very flattering and strangely erotic, making his breath hitch in his throat a little when he thought about it. So when Sam opened the door, he couldn't help but teasingly let his legs fall apart a little, stretching the long, pale limbs, while he leaned on his arms and tried to look innocent as he looked up at Sam. "Hello yourself."
Sam licked his lips as he his eyes scanned down along the man's porcelain neck, torso, waist, and all the way down to his long gorgeous legs and looked back up at his face as the brunette greeted him. Every time he saw the man bare before him, it was as if looking at a marble statue, the ones you see in text books in art class about the beautiful Greek sculptures. "You're so beautiful," He whispered, his voice barely audible as he closed the door behind him and began to walk up to Kurt. He never thought such a sight could be so beautiful, yet arousing. "Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked, wanting Kurt to feel as comfortable as possible. He didn't want his boyfriend to feel as if he was pressuring him to do this.
Kurt kept quiet while Sam moved closer, the smile not leaving his face. He leaned up a bit further, feeling like he needed to be physically closer to Sam, otherwise he'd die from anticipation. He bit down into his lower lip, not taking his eyes off of Sam's face, even though he was eager to peel off his boyfriend's shirt and let his hands wander all over those amazing abs, his warm skin, the structure of his bones and the path of his veins. "What do you mean?" He replied, voice low and soft, while he shifted down the bed a little, moving closer to Sam.
Sam smiled a little at Kurt's question. "For you to be my muse?" He asked, as he placed his bag down onto the ground and sat down upon the bed next to Kurt. It took all the power within him to not pull him down on the bed and just kiss him until they couldn't breathe anymore, but he wanted to make sure Kurt really wanted to do this. "We can even play music from the Titanic if that would get you inspired," He suggested with a wink.
Kurt tried to hold himself back from grabbing Sam by his shirt and pulling him closer, though he was quickly getting impatient, especially with having the other boy so close, but still not touching him and still wearing too many clothes. "You're such a romantic." He replied, a light chuckle in his voice. He reached out and let his fingers trail along Sam's arm, while he licked his lips, his eyes meeting Sam's. "I would be honored to be your muse, Mr. Evans."
Sam grinned and leaned in placing a soft kiss against the man's lips. Afterward, he pulled back, although it was hard to do so and said, "Should I start taking off my clothes too?" While, Kurt was the most innocent between them both, Sam could always tell when Kurt seemed to just want to rip his clothes off, and he was beginning to give him that look right now. "I only want you to be more comfortable," He said softly, as he began to slowly unbutton one button at a time on his shirt. He couldn't help to tease his boyfriend a little bit.
Kurt automatically closed his eyes when Sam's lips touched his own, making him shiver, even though he wasn't cold at all. His heart started to race a little faster in his chest and a blush flushed his cheeks at Sam's words. "I think that would help, yes." He replied softly, definitely impatient for Sam to get undressed now. He suppressed an annoyed growl when it became clear that Sam was taking his time, just to tease him and it took everything in him to not slap the other's hands away so he could do it himself. "You're horrible." He mumbled.
Sam chuckled and said, "I'm sorry, I thought you'd like a show." He winked, but then quickened his pace and shrugged the material off of his shoulders. Afterwards, he got to his pants and quickly unbuttoned, unzipped, and finally removed them. Kicking them off of his feet, Sam then pulled his socks off, and now he was in his boxer briefs. "Should I loose these too?" He asked, with a raised brow as he smirked at the other man.
Kurt smiled again when Sam finally hurried up a bit, quickly getting out of his clothes. He swallowed thickly when his boyfriend was in just his underwear, no longer able to keep his hands to himself. He shifted and pushed Sam down, climbing on top of him and straddling his waist, so he could lean in and capture the boy's lips with his own again. He teasingly nibbled on Sam's lips, while he tried to gain access with his tongue, hands slipping down and fingers hooking into the waistband of Sam's boxer briefs, but not yet pulling them down; simply teasing Sam for teasing him.
Sam felt himself being pushed onto the bed and letting out a soft, "Oh, God," as his lover climbed on top of him and straddled him. He groaned as their lips met, his hands finding he nape of his neck, and pulling downward as Kurt nibbled his lip. His plush lips began to redden and parted as he felt the man's tongue try to gain entry into his mouth. Feeling the soft fingers in between his waistband and his skin, Sam groaned as they continued to passionately kiss, tilting his head to the side more so, and putting one of his hands upon his boyfriend's to encourage him to pull it down.
Kurt deepened the kiss as he let his tongue slip into Sam's mouth, letting their tongues battle for dominance. His body was tingling with excitement, while pressed close against Sam's warm, solid body. He returned the soft groan and eventually pushed Sam's boxers down the boy's legs, reluctantly pulling away from his boyfriend's lips so he could let his mouth trail along the blonde's neck, down to his chest and torso.
Sam willingly let Kurt's lips and tongue wonder along the length of his body, arching his back at how wonderful it felt. It had been awhile since him and Kurt had done something like this. It was almost surprising how much his boyfriend took charge. "Oh, Kurt... So good," He sighed, as his eyes having a glazed look due to how amazing he felt.
Kurt smiled and got a little more confident while he kissed down Sam's body. He started to suck a mark onto Sam's hip, loving the redness that grew bigger each time he pulled away to check his work. His tongue worked to sooth the sting, while his fingers traced distracting patterns along Sam's warm, naked thighs. "How good?" He mumbled hotly against the darkened skin.
Sam squirmed underneath his lover, he couldn't help it. He just felt so hot all over and it felt so blissful. It sting a little where Kurt was sucking on his hip, but he liked it when he was marked. It felt so good to know he was truly his. "Amazing," He sighed out, his voice breathless as his chest was moving up and down rapidly, his heart was racing due to everything the man was doing to him.
Kurt licked the spot and moved a little lower, his mouth lingering at Sam's thigh, lips brushing softly along the skin. "I love you." He breathed, smiling as he looked up at his boyfriend's face. He gently pulled away, licking his lips, his eyes on Sam's. "You're the most beautiful. Really."
Sam smiled and sighed out, "I love you too... So much, Kurt..." He just felt as if he was on cloud nine right now with Kurt. It was magical spending any time with Kurt, especially with being intimate lke this. "No, you're the most beautiful one. You have the face of an angel and the body of a God," He told him, as he caressed the man's jawline and brushed his thumb across his cheek.
Kurt chuckled and shook his head, though he moved up again so he could capture Sam's lips in another kiss, pressing his body back against his boyfriend's, though it was more intimate now, because Sam was completely naked. He pulled back a couple of inches to brush their noses together, while he stared into Sam's eyes. "You're ridiculous. I don't even have muscles like you do."
Sam shook his head lightly as he smiled. "You don't need all these to be a God," He told him with a grin and flexed his arms. "You're perfect... So, toned and you look like marble. Such a stunning face... No wonder you made me question my sexuality," He said lightly.
Kurt rolled his eyes. "Honey, you were born gay, don't act like I turned you, because that's what all those ignorant assholes were afraid of when they beat me up." He was quiet for a moment, pressing his lips together. Then he reached out and let his fingers trail along Sam's upper arm. "Anyway, you look a lot better than I do."
Sam sighed. "That's not what I was trying to say... You just brought it out of me. Made me question things. You were the only boy that truly stood out from all the rest. You're unique and one of a kind... There's no one like you." He felt content and sighed at Kurt's other comment and said, "That's impossible, because you're the most beautiful man I've ever seen."
Kurt smiled weakly and kissed Sam again, though it was a little softer - less heated. "I know. I'm sorry. I like being different. I really do believe it's the best thing about me." He shrugged and pressed himself closer, not really wanting to talk about it anymore. He wasn't practically naked to have a conversation, anyway. "You don't look into the mirror a lot, then." He nibbled onto Sam's neck, hand softly sliding down the boy's solid chest.
Sam groaned as he felt his neck being nibbled on and his eyes fluttered closed as he whispered, "All I have to do is look at you in order to see the most beautiful man in the world, not in the mirror, baby." He threaded his fingers through the man's hair and then rolled over so that he was on top and Kurt was on the bottom. "If I admit that I am beautiful, will you admit that you are too?" He asked.
Kurt shook his head again, but couldn't say anything else, because Sam rolled them over and it was then that he realized he had a very naked man on top of him. It made his breath hitch in his throat for a moment, cheeks coloring a darker shade of pink. He chewed on his lip, unable to look away from Sam's eyes, even though he felt shy. "Make me.." He then whispered.
Sam pressed his forehead against the others and slowly his hand brushed along the side of his torso, all the way down to his thigh, grabbing it, and pulling it upward to bend and wrap around his waist. "Or I can just tease you?" He suggested, while brushing his fingertips lightly against the man's thigh, barely making contact with the skin.
Kurt gasped softly, his blush spreading down to his neck. His body trembled slightly as Sam grabbed his thigh and wrapped his leg around Sam's waist, leaving him feeling exposed and vulnerable, even though he was the one who was still wearing underwear. The teasing touch was going to drive him insane soon, already made him shiver, but he was stubborn and didn't reply just yet.
Sam leaned down and began to leave a trail of soft kisses along his jawline before getting to his ear and whispering, "Have I ever told you how hot it is when I see you blush?" He then lightly brushed his tongue against the shell of his ear, briefly making contact. "Or the little sounds you make?" His lips trailed down to his neck and to his shoulder, where he began to bite and suck in order to mark him.
Kurt shivered again, squirming a little underneath the warmth of Sam's body and the soft caress of his lips against his own heated skin. He mewled softly, instantly blushing hotter at Sam's second comment. "God.." He whimpered softly, arching up into the ministrations Sam practiced on his body. He loved having Sam worshiping his body like this, it made him feel weightless and invincible.
Sam occasionally he would stop to kiss the area the bitten and sucked on, before finally moving on downward. A trail of kisses along his collarbone, down to his chest, finally to his abdomen, Sam then stopped there to look up at Kurt. "Should I go further?" He whispered, his voice husky, as his finger was hooked under his boyfriend's boxers.
Kurt looked down at his boyfriend, his breathing slightly irregular and his body buzzing with adrenaline. "Please.." He mumbled breathlessly in reply, already lifting his hips a little to help Sam out. He usually tried to ignore his urges or took care of them in the shower, to avoid having to deal with Sam being willing to go any further. But there were times, times like these, where he just couldn't back away and it was like he needed those big hands claiming his body, those amazing lips sucking marks into his skin.
Sam listened to his lovers plead and more than willingly pulled down his boxers to reveal his boyfriend's hardened cock. He slipped the boxers off of his ankles and tossed them over the shoulder. He couldn't help to be too eager for this. Immediately, he went back to where he left off, sucking and biting on the man's lower abdomen, marking him down there, before his lips began to wonder downward even lower to where Kurt's member was. Kissing the head and running his tongue along the sensitive slit, Sam wanted to see what kind of rise he could get out of the other man.
Kurt gasped again, arching up into Sam's touches and kisses. "Sam.. Sam.." His chest was rapidly moving up and down as his breathing sped up, his body tensing up and relaxing again. He reached down and tangled his fingers up into Sam's hair, pulling it softly as he spread his legs a little wider. "S-Shit.. Sam.."
Sam smirked as he heard the curse word escape from the man's lips and made a soft noise as he felt his hair being pulled, before brushing his tongue gently up and down the base of his shaft, eventually wrapping his lips around the head once getting back to the tip.
Kurt tensed up again, his head falling back into the pillow, lips parted in a quiet gasp. His free hand had its fingers clenched tightly around the sheets underneath him, a tiny layer of sweat already visible on his pale skin. "Oh.. Oh God.." Maybe it was for the best that these moments rarely happened, because it made his responds to them multiplied to at least three or four times.
Sam moaned around the base, sending vibrations through his cock, making more pleasure as he moved up and down, while also working his tongue around the shaft. His fingers brushed against his boyfriend's balls softly, before he wrapped his fingers around them, giving them a gentle squeeze before rolling them in his hand lightly.
Kurt was having a hard time keeping himself from coming already, the heat quickly building inside of him, pushing him closer and closer to the edge. He gripped the sheets and Sam's hair tighter, his legs trembling next to Sam's head. He closed his eyes, breathing now a weak panting. "S-Sam.. Sam.." He moaned a little louder than he planned to, but was too caught up with pleasure to notice.
Sam moaned as he felt his hair being tugged on even more, making him go faster as he sucked, his head moving up and down swiftly due to hearing his name being moaned so loudly from his lover. It was quite arousing and made him want to touch himself, but he resisted and continued to focus on Kurt.
Kurt wished he could last a lot longer, but he had already been quite turned on ever since he had texted Sam about practicing his poses and he was definitely on the edge now. Besides, his arousal was almost painful, the way Sam's lips were stretched around his length was torture. His body tensed up, toes curling and fingers gripping hard onto the bed and Sam's hair. "S-Sam.. Sam, I'm gonna.."
Sam pulled his lips away from his cock, making a soft pop, licking his lips tasting the precum. It was sweet. Grabbing onto his base, Sam quickly stroked his lover, and moaned out, "Cum for me, baby, come on..." While giving his boyfriend's balls another soft squeeze.
Kurt groaned, his eyes tightly closed as his body stuttered and his breath stopped for a second as he allowed himself to let go. He moaned Sam's name, voice high and rather loud, while he came hard over his own stomach, leaving him gasping, speechless, breathless and boneless.
Sam groaned, "Oh, God, Kurt..." It was just so hot the way he moaned out his name and the sight of seeing him cum so hard underneath him. "Jesus..." He sighed out, as he licked his lips while looking at the man's body, which half of it was covered in cum. He leaned up to place a soft kiss on Kurt's lips, before leaning over to the nightstand, and pulling out moist towelettes to clean him off.
Kurt draped his arm across his face, covering his eyes as he was gasping. He let Sam kiss him, though he was a little too out of it to really respond to it. He was trembling and forced himself to wrap his legs back around Sam, keeping him close, while his boyfriend cleaned up the mess he had made. "Hmm.."
Sam did his best to clean off his lover. He couldn't imagine what sex would be like if it took out this much energy out of Kurt, but then again, he's the same way after he cums as well. It takes a lot out of you. He finished cleaning Kurt and threw the towelettes into the trash can, lying down on top of him. "Can you speak?" He teased.
Kurt wanted to reply, but all he could do was raise an eyebrow and groan out of frustration, weakly bumping his fist against Sam's arm. Then he licked his lips and forced his eyes to stay open for long enough to mumble a "Shutup, Sammy," before shutting them again. He didn't want to feel this tired and sleepy just yet, because he wanted to make Sam writhe underneath his touch in return, but he couldn't find the strength to get himself together yet.
Sam pulled away from Kurt's legs and laid down next to him. "We're never going to get to sketching at this rate," He murmured, with a little smirk as he laid next to him. It was such a sight to see his lover so exhausted after giving him a blowjob. It was amazing knowing that he was the cause of how weak he was.
Kurt curled up a little, feeling sticky with sweat. "'s jus' practice," He mumbled, while he shifted closer to Sam and hiding his face in his boyfriend's shoulder. "For.. For posing." He nodded and closed his eyes, wrapping his arms around the other male and holding on tightly.
Sam willingly wrapped his arm around the man, his other hand caressing the back of his head, and lightly brushing his boyfriend's hair with his fingertips. "You're very good at posing," He said softly with a grin as he continued to hold his lover. He had a feeling any minute now his lover was going to fall asleep.
Kurt smiled contently. "Hmm, yes." He agreed, not really thinking. He softly kissed his boyfriend's skin and let a hand slide down to trace his fingers over Sam's abs. He was fighting against his exhaustion now, determined to at least get Sam off as well, before he fell asleep.
Sam rolled over so that Kurt was on his back and laid down next to him, but stayed close still, not wanting to let go as he watched his boyfriend seeming to drift off. "Goodnight, baby," He whispered, as he looked over at the angel before him, seeming to drift away.
Kurt shook his head and tightened his arm around Sam. "No.. No sleep.." He mumbled, although he could barely keep his eyes open. He needed to return the favor to Sam and he hated how tired and weak he had become from just a blowjob.
Sam shook his head and lightly stroked the man's hair as he said, "Yes, sleep... You're exhausted, baby." He had a feeling of what Kurt's motivation was to keep awake and he wished he'd just forget it and go to bed. "Sleep, baby. We'll have more fun in the morning," He suggested, before leaning down and placed a soft kiss on his boyfriend's cheek. "Sleep," He repeated in a soft tone.
Kurt eventually let his eyes slip closed, his grip around Sam's body faltering a little. "'kay.." He mumbled, content with the promise of being able to make up for it in the morning. He sleepily reached out a hand to find the blankets, groaning softly when he noticed they were stuck underneath their bodies.
Sam smirked and got up from the bed, holding up Kurt for a moment, he slipped the covers underneath him, and slipped back into bed while pulling the covers over on top of them. "Sweet dreams," He hummed, before closing his own eyes and trying to fall asleep himself.
Kurt let out a soft noise once Sam got up, but smiled contently when he was covered and pressed against his boyfriend again. "Loveyou.." He managed, right before he drifted off, arms wrapped around Sam's arm.
Sam smiled as he felt the gentle arms wrapped around him and breathed out, "I love you more..." As he watched the man fall asleep and shortly afterward falling asleep as well.

Sleeping Beauty → Kum Chatzy
TAGGING → Sam Evans & Kurt Hummel
TIME FRAME → Thursday, July 18th
LOCATION → Hospital
NOTES → Kurt wakes up from a kiss from his personal prince Charming.
Sam looked down at his friend, scared due to unknowing when he would wake up. The nurse said that it was unknown of when he would wake up exactly and firmly told him that he would have to leave when visiting hours were over, but Sam wasn't going to let that happen, or at least he wouldn't leave willingly. They would have to tear him away from Kurt and pull him out of the room to get him out. He couldn't leave Kurt's side. As hours past, Sam would occasionally squeeze the other boy's hand in hopes of getting a little squeeze back in return, but nothing. His heart was slowly breaking seeing the sight of his friend, unknowing when his sleeping beauty would wake up. Suddenly, he got an idea... But no, it couldn't work. That was silly. Slowly Sam rose from his chair, brushing a few strains of hair from the boy's eyes, before leaning down, and placing a soft kiss upon his friend's lips.
Kurt had been unconscious for a while now, floating in a dreamless sleep. Every now and then, his breathing would become shallow, his heartbeat weak. He had been close to the edge, drifting between life and death for a while, until they'd emptied his stomach, leaving him pale and barely breathing, fast asleep. He couldn't feel Sam's hand squeezing his own, couldn't hear the beeping of his heart monitor or feel the substance that was being dripped into his veins through an IV. It was hours later when he finally stirred, slowly becoming aware of something touching his lips. Something warm and soft -- familiar. He blinked his eyes open, though his eyelids were heavy. His throat felt dry and there was a bitter taste in his mouth. But then he registered those eyes. A beautiful mixture of green and grey, looking into his own. He blinked again and let out a weak groan, as he tried to sit up, though his body felt like jelly.
Sam felt his heart soar as he saw the boy's eyes flutter open, to show his beautiful glasz colored eyes. His heart began to pound so hard against his chest, he thought it was going to leap out. He never been so exhilarated to see someone awake. It was hours that Kurt was asleep, but to him, it felt like days. His heart ached for Kurt to see another day and now he can. Then he let out a soft groan as he was trying to sit up. "Relax, Kurt..." Sam said softly, pulling away from him, not wanting to overwhelm him, or crowd him. "Oh, God... I'm so glad you awake," He let out breathlessly.
Kurt closed his eyes again for a moment and pressed a hand against his temple, feeling his head pound. He tried to speak, but his throat was dry and he couldn't find his voice, so all that came out was a raspy noise. He pushed himself up and buried his face in his hands, feeling dizzy and horribly nauseous. His body was shaking a little and he couldn't remember what he had done or when he had fallen asleep. The hospital scent only made the nausea worse and he could feel his stomach turn, making him look up and desperately look around for something like a bathroom sign, his hand already pressed against his mouth.
Sam licked his lips as he watched Kurt's movements, unknowing what to do exactly. He wanted to help, give him water perhaps, but he didn't want to make him sick, or something. So, he got up from the chair and to the other side of the bed and pressed a button to get a nurse. Not only they could help, but they probably need to know that Kurt is awake now anyway.
Kurt tried to swallow, refusing to throw up on himself, as he kicked off the blankets and was ready to storm out of the room in search of a toilet, if his body would allow it, of course. He didn't have the time to try, though, because Sam pushed a button and only seconds later a nurse came in. He swallowed again, tears in his eyes, before he got a cardboard bowl pushed in his hands. He looked at Sam, panicking because his crush was there and puking was anything but charming, but he really couldn't keep it down any longer, so he bent over and gagged, his stomach mostly empty. Everything hurt, tears rolled down his cheeks as he kept coughing, body convulsing, his fingers grabbing on tightly to the bowl.
Sam winced as he looked down at his friend who was obviously suffering as he threw up. He slowly approached him and slowly rubbed circles on his upper back as he continued to puke. It hurt seeing the hears in his eyes and he knew there was more to come in order to get better, but he was still glad that Kurt was alive, but not happy that he was suffering like this. Sam longed to kiss the tears away, but he knew it wouldn't be that easy this time as Kurt continued to get sick.
Kurt was breathing shallowly, his body trembling violently. He felt exhausted, even though he had just woken up. He hadn't quite realized that he was in a hospital. All he knew was that he was tired and miserable and sick and that Sam was there with him. Once he managed to look up and cleaned his mouth with a tissue, he just stared at his friend through his tears, with a confused look on his face. "... Sam.."
Sam sat down next to Kurt and continued to rub his back, as he softly said his name Sam felt tears well up in his eyes as he looked at Kurt who had tears in his eyes as well. "Yes?" He let out, feeling as if something was in his throat as he spoke due to the tears coming. "I'm just so..." He sighed out and then shook his head and went, "Never mind... You wanted to say something?"
Kurt shook his head and closed his eyes, leaning against Sam. He didn't know what he wanted to say or ask. He was confused and exhausted, his body aching. He didn't quite understand what was happening to him. Was he sick? He tried to remember what had happened before he had fallen asleep, but the memories were blurry. Besides, his head was killing him. He heard his name and accepted the cup of water from the nurse, though his hand was trembling, nearly making him spill the contents before the cup reached his lips. He took a small sip, scared to upset his stomach again, though it felt nice against the dryness of his mouth and the bitter taste on his tongue.
Sam kept stroking his back as Kurt was now drinking water. Maybe it was best there was no talking anyway? There was more time for that later. For now, Kurt just needed a friend and needed to get better. He wished that he could do more, but he knew that he probably couldn't. His friend just seemed so exhausted and sick right now. It was best to just stay by his side, be quiet, and help him in anyway he could. He would do anything for Kurt. He just hoped that the other boy will be okay.
Kurt finished about half of the cup, then set it down on the small nightstand that was standing next to the bed. He leaned back into Sam, closing his tired eyes, his fingers holding on to Sam's shirt. The boy's scent calmed him down a little, even though he was still confused. Why was he in the hospital? Did someone beat him up again? He wasn't quick enough to swallow back another wave of nausea, making him hunch over the bowl again, even though his stomach was empty now. He groaned, tears streaming down his face from the intensity of his purging. "God.."
Sam helped Kurt to lean into the bowl that was given him and rubbed his shoulder gently as he was throwing up. It hurt to see Kurt suffer like this, however he knew-- hoped that Kurt would pull through this and get better. He had to. He hated to see Kurt suffer like this, however he couldn't bare to leave the boy's side as he comforted him.
Kurt kept coughing weakly, even though nothing was coming out anymore. Eventually he gave up and leaned back into Sam, feeling completely exhausted. "Tired.." He mumbled, wishing he could just go back to sleep and wake up when he felt better. He wished he knew what happened, why he was in a hospital, but he didn't dare to ask, his voice rough and weak.
Sam ran his hands through Kurt's hair softly as the boy leaned on him and softly said that he was tired. He was afraid that if the boy went to sleep that he would never wake up again. However, he was being ridiculous. His friend definitely needed some rest, even though he feared if he went to sleep he'd never wake up. "Sleep then," He softly said, as he held the boy.
Kurt could feel his body growing heavier, experiencing a strange feeling of deja vu, which confused him even more. But he was too drowsy to think, so he held on to Sam and let his body heat warm him up, while he buried his face in his friend's chest, seeking comfort. "Stay.." He whispered, voice barely audible. "Please.." He wanted his dad, but he was aware of the fact that he was not in his own country, so he needed Sam to stay with him, to keep him from panicking too badly.
Sam continued to caress the smaller boy in his hands, occasionally using his hand to stroke his hair gently, leaning down Sam placed a soft kiss on the top of his head, not caring if anyone would see him. "I will," He whispered. "I'll never let go... I won't leave," He promised as he held Kurt, hoping that after he got some rest that he would feel a little bit better.
Kurt smiled weakly and cuddled up closer to Sam, feeling safer with the promise of the boy staying with him. "Okay.." He mumbled, feeling sleepy and desperate to fall asleep, so he wouldn't have to throw up again. The bitter taste wouldn't leave his mouth and he had no idea where it came from, apart from the vomiting. But he was too tired to think and stayed close to Sam as he let himself drift back into unconsciousness, safe in the blond's arms.

Make My Heart A Better Place → Kum Chatzy
TAGGING → Sam Evans & Kurt Hummel
TIME FRAME → Friday, July 5th
LOCATION → Sam & Santana's room
NOTES → Kurt and Sam meet up in secret, so Sam can attempt to kiss Kurt happier. Basically fluff.
Kurt felt a little shaky as he made his way down the hall to the room Sam shared with Santana. He didn't know what to say to his friend, but if they could just kiss, they wouldn't have to talk. He felt awful about upsetting Sam, but Puck's words had stung the most and had sent him right back into the darkness he felt he had slowly been climbing out of because of Sam. He wished he could talk about the things that went through his mind, but he didn't want to worry anyone. So he kept it all to himself, focusing on lying his way through the trip. He took a deep breath before knocking on the door, trying to compose himself a little so Sam wouldn't get suspicious. It was hard enough to lie over texts or the internet, but face to face, it was basically impossible for him to be dishonest with Sam.
Sam lied in bed worried about Kurt. He missed him so much. Of course, they all usually talked all the time online, but it had seemed like forever since he spent some quality time with Kurt. He missed being with him, seeing his smile, holding him, kissing him, everything. Kurt had seemed so down lately, which in result made him a little down. Sam didn't like seeing his friend in such a state. However, he hoped that kissing each other would lighten both of their moods. Hearing a knock at the door, he sprung up immediately, and walked over towards the door. Once opening it up, immediately he greeted with a soft, "Hey."
Kurt managed a smile when Sam opened the door, carefully sliding into the room and walking over to the bed, where he sat down. "Hey yourself." He replied, no real emotion in his voice. He hated feeling like this, but he felt stuck. He would usually try to get up and over it, but Puck's words haunted his mind; made him feel empty.
Sam closed the door behind Kurt and walked over to the bed. He only got one kiss, so he was going to make it count. So, first he settled with nuzzling his nose lightly against the other boy's before saying, "I'm happy to see you... It feels like forever."
Kurt looked up into Sam's eyes for a moment, then closed them and tried to let his friend calm him down. He smiled weakly at Sam's words and draped his arms around the other's neck. "You see me every day, silly." He mumbled, trying to sound playful; trying to make Sam less worried and suspicious. He shifted closer. "I don't want to talk.." He then whispered, voice softer. Talking gave him a higher risk of breaking down into Sam's arms and he was not going to let that happen again.
Sam felt his face flush a little bit when Kurt stated he didn't want to talk and let out a soft, "Oh..." After a moment of staring into his friend's eyes, his heart began to race at the words. It sounded as if Kurt was implying something else, but he knew better. It was too soon. Or perhaps he was just excited at the idea of kissing him? It felt like ages to him even though it wasn't that long ago. Just not seeing Kurt for a few hours felt like forever. Gently Sam placed his hand on the boy's jawline, lightly brushing his thumb across his soft, delicate skin, and slowly leaned in to kiss him.
Kurt was relieved that Sam didn't push on and asked him what was wrong. He didn't even know the answer to that question, anyway. It was like everything had been building up and was now dragging him down into the dark. He tried to push the negative thoughts away, instead concentrating on Sam being close to him, agreeing to not talking. His skin was feeling hot where Sam touched him so gently, making his body tingle. He felt a little bit more alive again. So he allowed their lips to meet, closed his eyes and softly moved his lips against Sam's, his fingers threading through the blond strands of hair.
Sam parted his lips slightly as they kissed. It was strange feeling so at peace with being with Kurt, however at the same time his heart was racing. The butterflies in his stomach were at full force and it was amazing to feel the spark once again. Every time he kissed Kurt, Sam always saw fireworks. For a brief moment, the blonde pulled away from the boy, and whispered, "I forgot to tell you Happy Fourth of July."
Kurt took the opportunity of Sam parting his lips to gently brush the tip of his tongue against the other boy's bottom lip, his fingers tightening in Sam's hair. He wanted to get lost in the kiss and just forget about everything else for a moment, but because he had been so down the last few days, it was hard to tune them out. So he was a little annoyed when Sam pulled away, since he had hoped that the other had taken his 'one kiss' seriously, and this kiss had been way too short. "You just wasted your one kiss." He mumbled against Sam's lips, smiling slightly.
Sam smiled a little bit. "It wasn't a waste... Just a peck on the lips would be magical," Sam sighed out breathlessly, as he pressed his forehead against the others. Soon Sam got lost in the other boy's glasz eyes, that has the beautiful mixture of different shades of blue and green, with a hint of grey. It was if they always put him in a trace, they were hypnotic.
Kurt rolled his eyes, though he was far from annoyed with Sam. "You're ridiculous." He breathed against Sam's lips, while he looked into the other's eyes. He let a couple of minutes pass like that, trying not to blink too much, before he moved closer and brushed his nose along Sam's. "Are you trying to make me kiss you again through mind control?"
Sam couldn't help to grin at Kurt's suggestion and softly said, "Is it working?" While the kiss they just shared was amazing and pure bliss, he wouldn't turn down the opportunity to have another kiss. When he was with Kurt, he just felt as if he belonged. He could just lie in bed with Kurt the whole night and kiss and hold him forever, but he knew that couldn't be the case. However, he hoped that could happen someday.
Kurt tried to stay serious, but a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "Maybe." He replied, a playful spark in his eyes as he looked at Sam. He let the other man wonder for a little bit longer, before leaning in again and pressing his lips against Sam's; harder this time. He slid onto Sam's lap and pressed himself closer, deepening the kiss. He really didn't want to talk and no matter how beautiful Sam's eyes were, they were also making him emotional and he needed distraction from all that.
Sam was surprised when his friend actually leaned, kissing him once again, and groaned as he felt Kurt slip into his lap. His hands felt their way along his thighs and to his hips as he they kissed, parting his lips as the brunette deepened the kiss, and lightly brushed his tongue against his lower lip. Once again, he felt the addicting spark between them and promised himself that he wouldn't cut this kiss too short.
Kurt shivered when he felt Sam's hands slide from his thighs, up to his hips. He let his tongue peek out and join Sam's, before parting his lips and pulling the boy closer. He let out a soft noise of approval while he deepened the kiss. Eventually he leaned closer against Sam, using his weight to try and push the boy down onto the bed, while he kept his fingers in Sam's hair.
Sam let out a soft noise as he felt their tongues touch each other and groan as their lips continued to move against each others. Eventually, he felt himself give in and let his back fall onto the bed, his hands beginning to roam upwards along the length of the boy's body as they kissed.
Kurt smiled a little as he carefully draped himself over Sam's body, his legs straddling the other boy's waist. He needed the distraction, he wanted to get out of that darkness that kept trying to drown him. So he melted into the kiss and shut down his mind as he reached for Sam's hand and slowly guided it to rest on his ass.
Sam arched his back as he felt Kurt press himself closer to his body. He just felt so weak to the touch. Soon he felt the other boy's hands on his own, it was a nice comforting feeling. His eyes began to widen as he started to slowly feel his hands being guided towards his friend's ass. He was a little taken back due to being stunned of the others behavior, but couldn't resist the urge to softly squeeze the brunette's ass.
Kurt let out a soft groan when Sam squeezed his ass. He hadn't expected it, because he had thought Sam would just keep his hands there, maybe rub his ass a little, but the soft squeeze sent sparks through his body. He started to kiss Sam a little more hungrily, his cheeks burning with a deep blush while he let his instincts take over, instead of his mind.
Sam felt his hands move up and down along his ass, as he felt their kissing turn more passionate and heated, and then gave his ass another light squeeze. He didn't know what was coming over him. Usually, he was able to keep control, but apparently with Kurt that wasn't the case. Eventually, he felt himself turning over, making it so it was Kurt on the bottom, and him on top.
Kurt was taken by surprise when Sam turned them over, making him end up on his back, underneath Sam. He opened his eyes for a moment, but didn't allow his lips to part from Sam's, his heart beating wildly in his chest. He wasn't new to the whole making out, but there was something about Sam's lips that set his body on fire and left him light-headed. He brushed his fingers into Sam's hair again, holding the boy close, while he could feel his body reacting to their kissing.
Sam let his hands roam down the front of the boy's torso until they finally rested on his hips and his lips began to roam. Finally, breaking the kiss, he felt himself trying to catch his breath for a moment, but soon his lips began to linger along his jawline, leaving a trail of passionate kisses along his jaw and down his neck.
Kurt moaned when he felt Sam's lips on his neck and parted his legs a bit further, giving Sam more space to move. His fingers gripped the blond hair a bit tighter, while he arched his head back into the pillow. "Sam.." He groaned softly. "That's.. not a kiss.."
Sam stopped his kissing of his neck for a moment as Kurt spoke and looked over at him. "I'm kissing your neck... And other places," Sam stated, before leaning in and placing a soft kiss on his lips, lingering for a moment, and then pulled away to see Kurt's reaction. "Do you really want me to stop?"
Kurt looked up at Sam, while trying to ignore the sudden sadness that washed over him. He blinked and shook his head, his hand stilling in the blond's hair. "I don't think I ever want you to stop.." He whispered, giving Sam a sad smile.
Sam placed another sweet, tender kiss on the boy's delicate lips before he gently pulled away and whispered, "Is something wrong?" He pressed his forehead against the others. "I know you said you didn't want to talk, but... You seem sad all of a sudden."
Kurt remained quiet and fought against the tears that were threatening to spill from his eyes. He started combing his fingers through Sam's hair again, while looking up at his friend with a pleading look in his eyes. He closed the distance between them and softly kissed Sam's lips. "I'm fine. I just don't want to talk. Or think. Please?"
Sam was a little taken back when their lips met again, but broke once more as Kurt expressed he didn't want to talk, or think. "Something is clearly wrong... Please, you can tell me," He encouraged as he looked down upon him.
Kurt closed his eyes, unable to look at Sam. "Sam.." He mumbled softly. He didn't want this to happen. He just wanted to kiss Sam and not worry about anything for a bit. But of course his friend was now asking questions and Kurt could feel himself shutting down. "No talking, more kissing."
Sam suddenly remembered his promise to Kurt. He told him they could kiss and that if he could, he would kiss Kurt until he was happy. Slowly Sam nodded his head and leaned forward to kiss the boy's soft lips once more, hoping that by some miracle his friend could find it in himself to be happy again.
Kurt was relieved when Sam nodded and gave in to his demands, kissing his lips again. He pulled Sam closer, so he could feel his solid body press against his own. It made him feel safer, it grounded him. It didn't take the pain and desperation away, but it distracted him for the time being.
Sam slowly felt his eyes flutter closed, as he tilted his head to the side while deepening the kiss. Feeling his heart soar, while gently his hands began to roam downward, along the other boy's frame, until his hands settled on his waist.
Kurt allowed himself to relax under Sam's touch, his arms closing tighter around Sam's neck, so he could hold him close. He wanted to drown in Sam's body and kisses. He needed to forget about all the bad stuff in his head. So he kissed Sam harder, not caring if things got a bit too heated.
Sam felt himself practically melt into Kurt with their kisses and with how close their bodies were together, it was as if they fit together perfectly. He felt the other boy grab a tight of him tighter and tighter and was wondering if it was due to the passion, or worried that he would break the kiss again.
Kurt let his tongue slip into Sam's mouth, kissing the boy, desperately. He groaned as he realized his mind wouldn't shut up. He brushed his fingers through Sam's hair and pulled the blond strands softly. He needed to get out of the darkness and Sam was his only rescue right now.
Sam let out a soft noise as he felt the boy's tongue slip into his mouth, gently their tongues moved against each other, and let out a soft, but low groan escape him as he felt Kurt continuing to tug on his hair lightly. His hands began to trail upward, making the material of his friend's shirt slip up, and softly his fingertips brushed against the delicate skin underneath.
Kurt shivered when he felt Sam's hand on his skin and automatically mirrored the action, curious to finally feel those abs underneath his fingertips. His touch was shy, but determined, as he didn't take a second to break away from the kiss. His hand remained underneath Sam's shirt, while he slowly mapped out the boy's muscles with his fingers.
Sam felt himself practically quiver to the touch, as he felt the soft touches along his hard abdomen. Another spark suddenly ignited in him as he felt the gentle, but arousing touches and felt his hips buckle forward against the other boy as their kiss became more heated.
Kurt hadn't expected Sam to push his hips forward, into his own. He let out a moan of surprise, that was muffled by Sam's mouth. His touch remained feather light, though he could feel his body tingling, a heat building up low in his stomach.
Sam lips began to wonder again, trailing kisses to his chin, and along down his throat. His fingertips quickly began to remove buttons from Kurt's shirt and began to kiss along downward near his chest. His other hand was at the waist of his pants, a couple of his fingers slipping through the material.
Kurt kept his eyes closed, humming softly while Sam kissed down his throat. He didn't react when Sam unbuttoned his shirt and started to kiss down his pale skin. But once he felt Sam at the waistband of his pants, he felt his heart racing, his hand automatically reaching out to grab Sam's and pulling it away from his pants. He stared at his friend with wide eyes. He wasn't sure what made him freak out like this, but he felt like everything was going too fast now.
Sam pulled back, panting as he looked down at his friend. He didn't know what came over him. Deep down within himself, Sam knew he wouldn't take things further. It was too soon. However, Kurt's sudden reaction snapped him out of it. "Sorry," He breathed as he pulled away and laid down next to him on his back.
Kurt was quiet for a moment, his breathing uneven and his eyes still wide and following Sam's movements. He bit down into his lip and stared up at the ceiling for a moment, while he cursed himself for reacting like that. He could just have subtly brushed Sam's hand away from his hips, but he was panicking. Eventually he sat up and buttoned up his shirt. "I should go."
Sam sat up as Kurt was buttoning his shirt and getting up from the bed. "I really am sorry, Kurt... Please forgive me," He begged. Of course, if his friend needed to leave, he would understand, but he hoped that at least his friend would forgive him for his behavior.
Kurt shook his head. "It's okay, you didn't do anything." He sighed and finished with his shirt, uselessly straightening it a bit. "We just- We should cool down and such." He mumbled, feeling awkward. He knew he could come off as frigid, but he'd rather be that than throwing himself around. "Don't apologize."
Sam bit his lip and nodded in agreement. "Sorry..." He murmured, he just wanted to make Kurt feel a little better. All the other boy wanted to do was kiss. He didn't want to talk and naturally Sam got carried away. "Sorry for apologizing, I should stop," He felt like mentally slapping himself in the face.
Kurt sighed and crawled over to Sam, leaning over him and kissing his lips, though the kiss was soft and short. "Sam, it's okay." He said quietly, managing a weak smile. "I should leave anyway. They might get suspicious." It wasn't like anyone knew they were in the room together, but Santana could walk in any minute and Kurt had really no excuse for being in bed with Sam.
Sam nodded as he looked longingly up at Kurt and grabbed a hold of his hand for a brief moment to give the boy one last, chaste kiss before letting him go. "I'll be thinking of you," He said softly as he looked up at the other boy, wishing he could stay, but understood why he had to leave.
Kurt smiled, a bit more genuinely this time, because Sam made him feel warm and alive. "Me too." He replied, holding on to Sam's hand for a bit longer, before letting go and getting off the bed. He straightened his shirt again and quickly fixed his hair in the mirror. "We should share a room again, soon." He then said softly.
Sam nodded in agreement as he watched his friend fixing his hair in the mirror as he spoke. "Yes, we should. I hope we get to in the future again sometime," He replied, as he gazed at Kurt's beautiful reflection in the mirror as he seemed to be getting himself together. He was going to make a joke about whether they'd actually leave the room, or not, but didn't want to make the other boy more uncomfortable than he already did.
Kurt eventually gave up on his hair and glanced at Sam again. "That would be nice. And it would save us from having to sneak around, because no one can walk in without a key." He smiled and licked his lips. "I'll see you later, probably. Maybe we can find a place to have dinner with the others."
Sam nodded as he said, "Sounds that a great idea." He got up from the bed and walked over towards Kurt as he seemed fed up with his hair. "It looks gorgeous the way it is," He complimented before giving him a peck on the cheek. "I'll miss you... Whether I see you later today, or not."
Kurt looked away and blushed slightly at the compliment about his hair. "It's all messed up," He mumbled, shrugging slightly. "You even like my bed hair, so I'm not going to listen to you." He softly traced Sam's arm with his fingers. "I'll miss you, too. But I'll see if we can find another time to meet up without the risk of getting found out. Sooner this time." He smiled and reluctantly pulled back his hand. "Bye, Sam." He said softly, before walking over to the door and quietly slipping out into the hallway.
Sam couldn't help to grin at Kurt's comment. It was true, whether it was perfectly slicked back, or was a wild mess the first thing in the morning, Sam loved his hair no matter what. Letting out a soft sigh, he willingly let his friend go out the door, and into the hallway. "Goodbye," He softly said as he looked at the door that was now closed.
Kurt leaned against the closed door for a moment, his mind a chaos. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes as he felt the tears welling up again. Then he strode over to his own room and locked himself up in the bathroom, where he shakily let himself slide to the tiled floor. And even though he was close to tears, he couldn't cry.

NOTES → Sam and Kurt discuss feelings, after Kurt has gotten confused by Sam's desperate attempt to look straight. Kurt shares his past and Sam reveals his secret to Kurt.
Sam put his phone away as he began to approach the room. Walking down the hallway, Sam felt as if this hallway lasted forever. It just seemed as if the more he walked, the longer it would go. Sam wondered if it was due to his nervousness of not wanting to have this conversation with Kurt. However, he needed to make a couple of things clear with Kurt. Sam didn't want to confuse Kurt and make him believe things that were not true. While he didn't want people to know his feelings, he wanted Kurt to know how he felt. Finally, he got to the door of the hotel room and pulled out his card, slipped it into the slot, and pulled it out and opened the door. "Hey there," He greeted as he walked in the room and closed the door.
Kurt closed his laptop and set it down next to him on the bed, so he could pull his knees up to his chest. He had his doubts about Sam actually talking about a girl, but it was clear that he at least didn't want anyone to know about them having feelings for each other. Or at least about Sam's feelings for Kurt. And he didn't want to be that ignorant person who would try to drag him right out of that closet, but Sam was basically in Narnia at this point, which didn't really help his case. Kurt was fine with keeping Sam's secret, but the more his friend tried to look straight, the more it hurt for Kurt. He wished he didn't try so hard and made it look like it would be an insult towards him if people thought he liked boys. He was pulled from his thoughts at the clicking sound of the door opening and he managed a small smile at Sam as his friend entered. "Good afternoon."
Sam walked over towards Kurt who was on the bed and stood there for a moment. Was he to hug his friend, or kiss him? He wasn't sure of what the appropriate action would be now that their relationship was a little different, even though they were still friends. It was complicated, as he said earlier. However, Kurt didn't know that he was actually talking about him. After a moment, Sam walked closer to the bed and walked over to Kurt's side and sat down next to him. "Hey there..." He repeated, biting his lip as he thought of the right words to say. "I wasn't talking about a girl," He started with.
Kurt licked his lips and looked down for a moment at Sam's words, his fingers fumbling with his sleeves. "I kind of hoped something like that. But I still don't really understand." He replied, while he forced himself to look up again, now that Sam was sitting down next to him. He didn't want to be the clingy type, but he didn't want to watch Sam hanging out with pretty girls or anything, just because his friend was trying to seem straight in front of their other friends.
Sam looked down at his hands as he played with them, trying to think of the best thing to tell Kurt now that he was here. After a moment, or two Sam finally looked up and looked over at Kurt and sighed out, "I really like you Kurt. I only have eyes for you... It sounds corny, but it's true. You're the only boy-- person really that has made me feel this way. That kiss was the best thing ever..." He hesitated for a moment as he looked down at his hands again and said softly, "But I don't think I can be with you."
Kurt blinked. The beginning of Sam's speech had been good. Very good. It had brought back the tingling in his stomach. But then Sam finished and Kurt could feel his heart sinking, eyes wide. It hurt. God, it hurt. He understood that Sam was afraid of being judged; afraid of turning his life around like this. But to just reject Kurt? "I- I'm sorry?" He prepared for the worst. He always did. He could feel himself closing off already. Sam's words would soon not mean anything to him. He probably wouldn't even hear them. It was better to get his walls back up where they once were, that way, maybe, the pain would be bearable.
Sam felt his heart break at seeing Kurt's reaction. He only uttered two words, but the look in his eyes and his face said so much more. He felt as if he was going to collapse when he said his last words, it almost made him feel sick. However, he had to let Kurt know how he truly felt and not have him feel as if he was playing with him. "You deserve someone who is out, Kurt..." He added, not being able to look at Kurt, afraid if he did he would start to get more emotional than he already did.
Kurt took a shaky breath, determined not to break down in front of Sam, though his body was trembling a little. He swallowed hard and straightened his back. He needed the comfort of his mask right now. He simply couldn't afford to let his walls down, because he would break. "And what makes you think that you can decide for me what I do or don't deserve?" He replied stiffly, forcing himself to keep looking at Sam, even though his friend was looking away.
Sam closed his eyes as he heard Kurt speak again, but slowly opened them up again as he said softly, "Because you're out, proud, and amazing and I think you deserve someone that is the same way and I'm not." The whole time he spoke, he couldn't bare to look at Kurt, but after he did he slowly turned to see Kurt.
Kurt sighed, shaking his head. "I know I am. I could never be anything else. Even before I came out, everyone knew, Sam. I'm a walking stereotype, there is no way I could ever pass as straight. All I can do is be proud of who I am, so the hate doesn't get to me as much. But that doesn't mean that whoever I'm with has to be the same way. Yes, I would like that person to at least be out and if he can't accept it, then I could help him out with that. But I'm not saying we need to date like.. right now. We- We kissed and I really, really enjoyed that, damnit." He cursed the tears that welled up in his eyes, even though he had been trying to keep them from appearing, at least until he was alone. "I know you're still in your phase of confusion and I understand if you need time to think things over, but don't- don't say I deserve better. I've been through enough shit in my life, you are one of the best things."
Sam sniffed as he heard Kurt speak his mind, feeling tears well up in his eyes, but not wanting them to fall. While his father was loving, his father was a man's man, and it was considered a sign of weakness to cry. He didn't feel that way about others, but when it came to himself, he felt weak and vulnerable when he would shred a few tears. "I don't know what to say..." Sam said in a hushed tone, his voice broke slightly as he spoke. "I had no idea... It's just I know you've been through a lot, but you're such a great person and I just felt that-- I'm glad you understand, but I wanted to explain myself before this got further. I didn't want you to think I did like other girls. I didn't want to confuse you. I wanted you to know how much I care about you. However, I don't think I can date you right now... I already have a secret. If I date you, I'd have two, and I don't want you to be a secret."
Kurt clenched his jaw, trying his hardest not the fall apart completely. He tried to listen to Sam's words, but they didn't really come through. He did get confused at the mention of Sam having a secret, though. But he wasn't sure if it was the right moment to ask about it, so he decided to let it slide for now. Instead, he tried to sit up straighter again, even though his shoulders were a little slumped. "Sam.. Before I came to Lima, I- The bullying was so bad. It's- I really don't want to scare you with this, I just need you to understand that I know it's scary. I know the consequences of being out and facing hate like that. God, I was beaten up so badly, my dad barely recognized me. It- It was terrible. I was in the hospital for so long and after I got out, we moved to Lima, because everyone over in Columbus knew who I was. I- I would never force you to come out. I don't want you to do anything while you're still scared of what could happen to you. I- I understand if you-" His voice broke and he curled up again. "I understand if you want to keep a distance or something. If you.. never want to do anything like.. kiss me, again. I just- I'm glad you wouldn't want it to be a secret, but.. this is hard for me, too. I don't know what to do, either."
Sam felt a tear trickle down his face as he heard Kurt speak and listened to what he had to say. He sniffed and wiped the tears away, however he knew the damage was done and it was obvious he was getting emotional. "I'm just so sorry you had to go through that," He told Kurt, his voice a little weak due to getting emotional and trying to hold it. "I wish I was there to protect you and be there for you when it was the worse... I wish I could have held you and told you everything would be okay," He continued and hesitated before he slowly ran his hand over Kurt's thigh to grab a hold of Kurt's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. "I would love to be close to you, kiss you, but... I just don't want you to feel as if I might be using you, or something... I would never do that to you, but I just... You deserve to be happy and when I even pretended to be straight, you seemed so upset... I don't want to hurt you. I know you understand and I know some day I'll find the strength to come out, but for now, as much as I want to be with you, I don't think we should be a couple."
Kurt could feel his throat getting thicker as he listened to Sam's words. His hand was trembling when the boy took it in his own and he couldn't do anything but hold on to it tightly. "It's okay." He choked out, even though it most certainly wasn't. He didn't like to go back to that day, because he still wasn't entirely sure what had happened. Most of it was a blur. But he knew he was lucky to be alive and without any permanent damage, except for his mental state. "I.. I wouldn't feel as if you would be using me. I appreciate your consideration. I really do. I just.. Wait, did you just say you pretended to be straight? You're- .. Sam?" He didn't want to draw any conclusions too quickly, because Sam could just mean he was pretending to not be bi-sexual, but it threw him off a little.
Sam slowly nodded and confessed softly, "I never liked girls." He felt as if there was lump in his throat, it was difficult to speak due to hearing Kurt's story and his own emotions getting in the way. "I never felt this way about anyone, Kurt... I only went out with Quinn to look popular and I think subconsciously I did it in order to appear as straight. I never had feelings for her... I never really had feelings for any girls. It wasn't until you I started to feel my heart to race when I'd see you and the butterflies in my stomach. I didn't know what it was for awhile, but then I realized it was, because I have feelings for you. And that kiss-- God, that kiss was-- It just made me feel so... Alive. It was exhilarating."
Kurt could feel his eyes widening as Sam spoke. It was like everything fell into place. Now he understood why Sam was so scared of admitting he liked Kurt. He wasn't just confused. He probably knew for a little while already. He just didn't like girls. He was actually gay. Kurt wasn't an experiment. Maybe he even was someone Sam looked up to, because he was proud of who he was. He let go of Sam's hand and got up on his knees, crawling closer to Sam until he could wrap his arms around the other boy and pull him into a tight embrace. "Oh, Sam.. I'm sorry. It's okay. You'll be okay."
Sam was taken back by Kurt's actions as he began to get on his knees and began to crawl towards him, but when he was suddenly in Kurt's tight embrace, he immediately wrapped his arms around him in return, and gave him firm, but not too over harsh squeeze as he caressed him. "I know... I'm with you," He whispered, as he held onto Kurt, not wanting to let go. The feel of Kurt's body against him, his arms around him, and the scent of his hair was all very comforting.
Kurt let out a shaky sob as he pulled Sam against his body, tears finally escaping from his eyes. He felt a little sick, knowing that Sam had been carrying this secret around for who knows how long. But he was glad that he could be there now, holding Sam and making a promise to himself that he would help this boy in any way he could. "God, Sam.. I didn't- I- You're right. I'm here. I'm here.."
Sam slowly lowered the boy down onto the bed on his back. "Kurt... Calm down, it's going to be okay." Sam slowly stroked his friend's cheek as he laid there, as he sobbed on the bed, feeling bad that he was the reason that the other boy was in this state in the first place. "I'm going to be okay, we'll be okay..." He reassured him as he hovered over him, leaning down, he lightly kissed Kurt's cheek.
Kurt tried to take a few deep breaths so he could calm down and quickly wiped the tears away with his sleeve that were running down his temples, now he was on his back. He looked up at the other boy, body still shaking a little, because he couldn't quite stop crying, but the kiss on his cheek was comforting and he managed a weak smile through his tears. "I know. I'm sorry. I- I usually don't really do crying."
Sam pressed his forehead against Kurt's as he felt the other boy still shaking. "No need to apologize, Kurt... If you're feeling emotional let it all out," He told him as he brushed a few strains of hair out of his eyes as he looked down upon him.
Kurt shook his head and let out a soft chuckle. "I can't. I don't do crying in front of other people. But I just- I couldn't stop myself." He closed his eyes for a moment and when he opened them again, he wrapped his arms around Sam's neck and pulled him closer again. "I'll be okay.. I think.."
Sam pressed himself up against Kurt as he felt himself being pulled in closer and placed his hands on the boy's hips as he held him. "I understand if you don't like to cry in front of people, but if you ever need to let it all out in front of me. I wouldn't mind. I think it's very brave of you to cry."
Kurt smiled sadly. "I'm not brave, Sam. I'm actually terribly weak." He couldn't explain why, though. Not now. He wasn't ready to admit to anyone how dark of a place his mind really was, most of the time. He'd already said too much at the top of the Eiffel Tower. He wasn't sure if he ever could tell anyone. It made him feel so pathetic.
Sam shook his head at Kurt. "You're one of the most powerful people I know. You've pushed on through so much in your past. You're very brave," He repeated as he held Kurt, wanting to kiss his lips, kiss him until he was happy again. However, he didn't know if it would be appropriate.
Kurt closed his eyes again, his head hurting from the crying already, though he was still smiling weakly. "Isn't that what everyone does? Trying to survive? I'm pretty sure it's human instinct." He shrugged. "I don't think it makes me brave. I didn't put myself through those things. I-" He cut himself off, afraid he would spill too much. "I'm surviving."
Sam laid down next to Kurt. "You've done more than I have ever done... You say it was obvious, but even if it was, you still could have kept denying it, but you didn't. You are surviving and surviving takes strength, Kurt. To keep pushing onward. You are a survivor," He told him, as he ran his fingers through his friend's hair softly.
Kurt let out a sad chuckle. "I did deny it, Sam. I did. But it made no difference. I wasn't ready to come out, not even to myself. But they wouldn't leave me alone. I was so scared. I hadn't even told my dad. I didn't know what to do with myself. And then they kept calling me names and pushing me around and eventually I figured I might as well come out, because I felt even more miserable, pretending to be someone I wasn't. So I came out to my dad and he was so supportive. It gave me the strength to believe in myself. So I came out. I didn't try to deny it anymore. But it just got worse. And then.. that day, they defiled my locker.. and beat me up. I'm- I was just a target. They broke me and now I'm trying to get myself back together, still.."
Sam scooted closer to Kurt. "There's nothing wrong with that. The fact that you're willing to move on and try to make a better day is a good thing. There's nothing wrong with putting yourself back together, as you say. You're trying to make your life better and move on and try to be strong. That is an amazing thing. I want you to be happy, Kurt. I really do," Sam sighed out as he snuggled up against Kurt.
Kurt swallowed hard as a wave of emotion suddenly washed over him. He wasn't used to talking about his past. No one but his dad knew the full story. Not until now. He had tried to put everything behind him, but instead he had locked it all away, where it had been eating him up from the inside out. He tried to speak, but instead he curled into himself and hid his face in Sam's chest as the tears came back. He grabbed on tightly to Sam's shirt as he cried, body shaking violently with sobs he somehow still tried to keep in, even though he knew it was a lost case.
Sam held Kurt as securely as he possibly could as he felt Kurt sob and shake against him. It was all he could do. Slowly he ran his hand up and down the boy's back in a comforting manner as he held him. He didn't want to speak, possibly make Kurt more upset. He was glad that Kurt was just letting it out. He needed to let it out. It seemed as if he was holding this deep inside of himself for awhile and it was about time it was out.
Kurt curled up closer to Sam. He usually hated feeling small or dependent, but he knew he needed this and he was glad to have Sam there to comfort him, even if it made him feel even more pathetic. He was so used to dealing with things by himself, he felt better when he could convince himself he didn't need anyone. "I- I'm s-sorry.."
Sam shook his head as he held him and said, "There's no reason to be sorry." Sam closed his eyes as he was caressing him, hoping that the other boy would soon feel better about himself and everything else in his life. He wanted Kurt to be happy, not down, however if he needed a good cry, his friend should do so. He just hoped it would make him feel better in the end.
Kurt clung to Sam as if his life depended on it, not sure how to calm himself down, though the boy's scent was comforting him a little. He wasn't alone. Not in this. "T-Thank you f-for.. being there.. Here, I m-mean.." He looked up and managed a weak smile, his fingers still holding on tightly to Sam's shirt. "You- You don't have to c-come out."
Sam pressed his forehead against Kurt's. "But I am... One day," He promised, not being able to hold it back anymore, he leaned in slightly and brushed his lips against Kurt's, testing to see if it was only and that he'd even want to kiss.
Kurt was still trembling slightly, but he smiled weakly at Sam's words. He wanted to tell the boy that he knew he could do it. That Sam was strong and he would be okay. But then his friend leaned in and their lips brushed against each other. And all Kurt could do was close the last inch between them and softly kiss Sam.
Sam felt the spark once again as their lips met and felt weak as he continued to kiss the boy back, softly at first, but then gradually deepening the kiss as he tilted his head to the side. He just wanted to kiss the pain away and make Kurt feel happy again.
Kurt softly kissed Sam back, a little shy at first, but as Sam deepened the kiss, Kurt could feel his confidence grow. He managed to stop crying and loosened his grip on Sam's shirt, so he could eventually wrap his arm around the boy's body and pull him in closer. It was definitely a good thing that none of them was naked this time.
Sam hummed between the kiss and eventually parted from it, but only to let his lips wonder along the boy's jawline, his lips trailing softly along, barely making contact with the skin. Soon he began to travel downward to his neck, leaving soft kisses along the way. He longed to explore every inch of his skin, which wouldn't happen now, but he longed for the day where it could be possibly. He just cared for Kurt so much, in every way.
Kurt wanted to protest when Sam pulled away from his lips, though the complaint couldn't leave his lips, because the boy was now kissing his jaw, down into his neck. He arched his neck to make more room for Sam, the skin sensitive under the other's warm lips. He breathing sped up a little and he let out a soft whimper. It really had been too long since anyone had touched or kissed him.
Sam let out a little sound as he heard the little whimper escape the boy's beautiful lips. It aroused him into wanting to lightly bite his friend's delicate skin and begin to gently suck on the area he had bitten. He felt his mind was elsewhere and his body was responding to the movements and the sounds that Kurt made.
Kurt couldn't help but groan, his mind empty and his body feeling like it was on fire. All he could think about was how good Sam's lips felt against his skin. His grip on Sam tightened a little and he closed his eyes, as he completely lost himself in the moment, his body eagerly responding to the blonde's actions.
Sam kissed, sucked, and bitten the area again and again, while trying to be gentle at the same time, not wanting to hurt the boy that was underneath him. Eventually, he pulled away and noticed the mark, he couldn't help to smile at the sight, and leaned down kiss it a couple of times before placing another kiss on his lips once again.
Kurt shivered underneath Sam's ministrations, letting out soft noises of approval while the boy kept kissing, biting and sucking on his skin. The spot where Sam had been working on was getting more sensitive, so he assumed there was at least a mark now that would most likely become a bruise due to his pale skin, but he could always cover it up with a scarf. It wasn't weird for him to be wearing one, anyway. When their lips met again, Kurt replied eagerly, pressing himself closer and softly nibbling on Sam's bottom lip.
Sam groaned as he felt the other boy nibble on his lower lip and lightly pulled away, which ended up tugging his lower lip, and grinned as he looked down at Kurt. "You're so beautiful," He whispered, as he gazed deep into his eyes, almost feeling as if he was in a trace as he looked at him, the blue and green eyes looking back up at him were so alluring.
Kurt blinked as he stared up at Sam, the compliment taking him by surprise and making him blush hotly, something that seemed to happen quite a lot around Sam. "T-Thank you.." He managed, smiling weakly, though he was mostly still trying to process what just had happened. He reached up to touch his neck, his fingers soon finding the spot that was now a little sore. "There's a mark, isn't there?"
Sam licked his lips as Kurt touched the place that he had marked him. "Yes, there is... Is that bad?" He asked, as he tilted his head slightly to the side. "I'm sorry if I hurt you," He added as he leaned in to give a proper look at the sensitive skin.
Kurt smiled and shook his head. "No. No, it's okay. I always wear scarves, no one will know. And it only hurts a bit when you touch it, but it.. feels kind of good." He admitted, blushing deeper. "It'll probably bruise, but it's fine. I tend to bruise from bumping into objects, even when it's not very hard. It's my skin. It's alright."
Sam smiled and said, "If anything I can just keep kissing it until it feels better." He then leaned downward and placed a few more soft kisses along his neck and to the tender spot of where he marked the boy and kissed it a couple of more times as softly as possible, not wanting to hurt him, before he pulled away.
Kurt blushed and closed his eyes as Sam continued to kiss his neck. The hurt he felt whenever the boy's lips brushed against the mark on his neck, wasn't unpleasant. Maybe he had grown to be a bit of a masochist because he felt so dead all the time. But Sam, Sam made him feel alive right now.
Sam laid back down, half of himself pressed up against the boy, and he rested his head against his friend's chest. He felt so calm, so happy to be with Kurt. He didn't want to let him go. He could lie there forever with the other.
Kurt wrapped his arms around Sam and softly let his fingers trace patterns into his friend's back. He pressed a kiss on the top of Sam's head and laid back down, taking a moment to let his wildly beating heart calm down. "I won't tell anyone." He then whispered. "I promise."
Sam nuzzled his face against the boy's chest as he felt the light touches on his back and smiled a little as Kurt told him he wouldn't tell anyone. "I know... I trust you," He whispered, as his eyes fluttered closed, completely content and happy with where he was and who he was with.
Kurt smiled and closed his eyes, keeping Sam close to his body, while his heartbeat slowly went back to normal. His body was still pleasantly tingling from the way Sam had been kissing him and it was really nice to feel so light and content for a change. "Thank you.."
Sam was already feeling himself drift away, but heard the faint sound of Kurt thanking him making him murmur, "For what?" He snuggled against the other boy's slender frame as he felt himself falling asleep.
Kurt was quiet for a moment. He was entirely sure himself why he was thanking Sam. He knew his initial thought was to thank Sam for trusting him with his secret, but it was so much more. So he brushed his fingers through Sam's hair, feeling warm and sleepy as he replied in a whisper. "For being in my life."
Sam hummed softly as he felt the light fingertips brushing through his hair, but the action made him even more sleepy. As Kurt spoke, it took awhile to Sam to respond due to feeling himself drifting away quickly. "Thank you for being... in mine," He murmured, as he grew more tired and at last whispered, "You're my angel," before he finally fell asleep.
Kurt could feel himself getting a little flustered as Sam spoke, though he was too emotionally drained to care. So he just smiled and kept brushing his fingers through Sam's hair, until they eventually stilled and his breathing evened out, as he drifted off to sleep.

Firework → Kum Chatzy
TAGGING → Sam Evans & Kurt Hummel
TIME FRAME → Tuesday, June 18, evening
LOCATION → Kurt & Sam's shared hotel room
NOTES → Some tension in their shared bathroom, then fluff in the bed they share. Basically. Bonus content: naked Sam.
Sam walked into the bathroom and ran his hands through his hair. He was feeling a little stressed, not only due to the anonymous messages he gotten, but also due to all the fighting among all of his friends. He just wished everyone could get along. Also, he didn't know why, but he felt a little sore. Maybe it was due to all the walking and what not he done? He also worked out that day. He kicked off his shoes, then his shirt, and down came the pants and his boxer briefs. Sam was now ready for a nice, long shower.
Kurt pocketed his phone, before using his card to enter the hotel room he shared with Sam. He was tired from all the fighting with Puck and Austria wasn't really his thing. So he had only gone for a short walk, hoping to find a mall somewhere, so he could visit there another time this week. Sadly, he hadn't found anything within an hour, so he had made his way back to the hotel to make sure he wouldn't get lost. He dropped his bag on his bed and shrugged off his jacket, before rubbing his temples. He needed to get on with his skin routine, so he could go to bed and get a good night of sleep, hopefully falling asleep before Sam joined him, so he wouldn't have to be hyper aware of the other boy being completely naked and only a couple of inches away from him. Damn these rooms with double beds only. He sighed, gathered his products and stepped into the bathroom, only to almost drop everything he was holding when he about walked into a very naked Sam. "Oh my god."
Sam grabbed his clothes that he removed and began to fold them so he could properly put them away in his dirty clothes later. He didn't want to just have them lying around even though he would pick them up after he was done. This way he can just grab them and get out. Closing his eyes for a brief moment, Sam was trying to relax for a moment, and collect his thoughts before taking a shower. Just as he opened sliding glass door and bent over to turn on the water, Sam heard the sound of a door opening, and heard a loud, "Oh my God." Immediately, Sam whipped back and looked at Kurt who was standing there with a bundle of products in his hands. Instead of covering himself like he probably should have, the blond just stood there in shock, his mouth open, but no sound coming out before a, "I-- uh, uh shower me, I mean I'm showering." He then tried to put his hand over his groin.
Kurt 's eyes were wide for a second as Sam turned to face him, but he quickly averted his eyes to the ceiling, his heart beating wildly in his chest and his cheeks burning hotly. "Right." He choked out, while he kept his gaze on one of the lamps. He took a deep breath, attempting to gain back his composure. "Well, I was going to work through my skin routine so I can go to bed, so I'll just- I'll just be needing the mirror. If you want me to get out, it's fine, but I'm tired and I swear I won't look." He mumbled, as he tightened his grip on one of the bottles in his hand.
Sam was panting as he looked over at Kurt, almost a little aroused at how flustered Kurt seemed to be, but shook his head at the thoughts and tried to push them away as he opened the sliding glass door of the shower again. "No, no... You can do your thing, I'll do mine... The damage is done... So to speak, and you're doing your routine thingy," He rambled as he bent over again into the shower, turned on the water, and began to adjust it to the perfect temperature.
Kurt swallowed thickly, keeping his eyes on the ceiling, while he registered some movements from the corner of his eye. "Yes. Okay. I'll just.. be doing my thing. I shouldn't be taking long, anyway." He rambled, still blushing. "Just- Just let me know when you're inside, so I can get on with it." He tried to subtly breath in deep through his nose, desperate to calm down.
Sam looked over at Kurt with a shocked expression as he repeated, "Inside?!" However, suddenly Sam realized that Kurt meant inside of the shower, not inside of him. He shook his head to remind himself to get his mind out of the gutter and once the water was adjusted just right, Sam turned on the shower head, and said, "I'm in," before he hopped into the shower and closed the sliding glass door.
Kurt actually did drop his products at Sam's outburst, and let out a groan of frustration. As he looked down, he caught another glimpse of Sam's ass, though he was now too occupied with picking up the stuff he had dropped. Luckily, nothing was broken. So he set everything down around the sink and took off his shirt to avoid getting any product on it. He tried to block out the knowledge of having Sam (once again naked, but also wet) not too far away from him, as he splashed water in his face and started to apply the first moisturizer.
Sam licked his lips as he briefly saw the other boy removing his own shirt, but looked away, due to not wanting to get caught and be thought of as being a creep. Closing his eyes as he raised his face, Sam let the water hit his face and hair, groaning as he felt the hot water run along his hair and body. "God," He groaned lowly, forgetting that Kurt was there while he began to run his hands along his body with some soap in his hands.
Kurt was in the middle of scrubbing his face, when he heard the groans that came from the shower, making him freeze in his actions for a moment, eyes wide with horror and arousal. He closed his eyes and tried to concentrate on his own actions, because he was familiar with the routine and he was pretty much a control freak. He tried to block out any sounds coming from Sam, though they sounded very suspicious and Kurt felt like if things would go on like this, he would have a heart attack.
Sam stroked himself down there and let out a little moan out, but it was only to wash himself, or at least that's what he was trying to tell himself. However, he stopped quickly and started to wash other areas of his body that needed attention. He tried to keep focus and control himself. Turning around, Sam began to wash his hair, and once done with that started to rinse off his whole body completely.
Kurt tried really hard to concentrate and get his routine done as quickly as possible, but his hand kept stilling. He told himself he wasn't listening to Sam as he let out those sinful noises, but he was definitely lying to himself. He swallowed hard and tried to ignore the stirring in his stomach. He was not going to let himself get turned on by Sam, because it would be everything awkward. His heart was beating fast and irregular as he washed his face again, so he could apply a cream.
Sam as he continued to rinse himself off, he couldn't help to look through the glass to look at Kurt, although it was kind of foggy. Sam wished he could make out better what Kurt exactly looked like without his shirt, there were many nights now where he'd dream of what Kurt looked like underneath it all. At the thought, Sam pushed his face under the shower head and let the water hit his face, almost trying to wash his sinful thoughts away.
Kurt tried to ignore how his hands were trembling as he went through his routine, determined to finish quickly, even though his body seemed to want to drag it on, so he could listen to Sam for a little while longer. He didn't dare to glance over at the shower cabin, too paranoid of getting caught, but the blush would not leave his cheeks, no matter how much cream he applied to his skin.
Sam finally stopped the water and shook his head a little bit as he opened the sliding glass door, not really caring at this point if Kurt would see him, or not. Kurt already seen him and also they would soon be sleeping together in the same bed with him naked in it. "Thank you for being cool about this," Sam said with a smile as he looked over at Kurt, not helping to smirk a little due to seeing the red tint in the boy's cheeks as he was doing his skincare routine. He grabbed a towel and began to ruffle his hair in it.
Kurt could feel his heart stop beating for a moment as he realized Sam was done showering and opened the door. He kept his eyes on his reflection, determined not to let his urges win from his mind. He knew it would be wrong to shamelessly look at his friend, no matter his crush and obvious attraction to Sam's body. "Of course. I should thank you, actually." Most guys freaked out over Kurt seeing them naked, rather than the other way around.
Sam continued to ruffle his hair for a few more moments with his towel before pulling it off of his head. "Why should you thank me?" He put the towel on the counter for a moment, planning on using it again, and walked over to where Kurt was. He grabbed Kurt's hips and pressed himself against him for a moment as he went, "Hold on, I need to make sure I don't look like a wild animal," as he was fixing his hair while looking at the mirror.
Kurt froze, half of his face shiny with one of his creams. His eyes were wide and filled with panic as he felt Sam press against him. Naked. He was naked. And he had grabbed his hips and was now pressing right against his ass. "You just showered and you're about to go to sleep, you're allowed to look like a wild animal. Now what the hell are you doing?"
Sam raised his hands as if he surrendered and went, "Jeez! I'm sorry Kurt!" He backed up a step, however he was still quite close, especially since he leaned in so he could see himself better in the mirror. "I mean, you look quite presentable, why can't I look at least half as decent before I go to bed?" He asked, as he was trying to adjust his hair and ran his fingers through it a few times. There was a lot of it.
Kurt felt like he could drop dead from embarrassment and stress any second. He took a shaky breath and looked at Sam's face, through the mirror. His cheeks were still red, all the way down to his ears. It was horrifying. "Your hair looks fine." He mumbled stiffly, his mind not quite able to keep up with everything that was happening, though his body seemed to do just fine, apart from the humiliation that came with it. He pressed himself a little closer to the counter, attempting to create some more space between their bodies and hiding his own reaction to it all.
Kurt felt like he could drop dead from embarrassment and stress any second. He took a shaky breath and looked at Sam's face, through the mirror. He pressed himself a little closer to the counter, attempting to create some more space between their bodies and hiding his own reaction to it all.
Sam placed his hands on the counter for a brief moment as Kurt told him his hair looked fine. For a brief moment, as Kurt was looking into the mirror, Sam did too really admiring Kurt's beauty. He felt himself lean up against Kurt as he stared at the other boy's reflection, admiring how flawless his skin was, and his rosy, youthful cheeks, and his stunning, hypnotic eyes. Eventually, he caught himself staring and pulled away as he went, "I, uh, should be drying off."
Kurt swallowed audibly as their eyes met, Sam once again leaning into him and quite successfully pushing him up against the counter from behind. He tried to get a hold of his breathing, but it was a little ragged and his heart was beating at a most likely unhealthy speed. He grabbed on to the edge of the counter, only blinking a little as Sam spoke, his mind taking way too long to catch up with his words. "Yeah. Yes. Probably." He mumbled.
Sam grabbed his towel and began to dry off his body, trying to cool down from his thoughts, as he was patting down his body with the towel in his hands. "Thanks again," He murmured as he continued to dry himself off and keep his mind somewhere else.
Kurt tried to keep his eyes on his own face and to finish applying the cream, but it was harder to ignore the other boy while he was so close and moving quite a lot. He bit down into his lip, keeping himself pressed against the counter, the solid, cold material keeping him grounded. "There's really no need to thank me." He managed to say, voice high.
Sam finished drying himself off and looked over at Kurt for a moment, wondering if he should do, or say anything else. He bit his lower lip as he stared at the boy from behind, just wondering what he should do. Suddenly, he felt the need to leave the bathroom before he would do anything stupid. As he left the room he said, "I'll be in bed."
Kurt could feel the tension building as he tried to act like he didn't notice Sam staring at him. He avoided looking down Sam's body at any cost, even though he had basically already seen everything. He licked his lips, which had gotten dry, and gave Sam a nod, letting out a breath he didn't realize he had been holding, as soon as Sam walked out of the bathroom. He took in his face again, mentally cursing the blush that still hadn't faded. God, he had nowhere to go. He would have to walk out of this room and get in bed with a very naked Sam and somehow manage to fall asleep.
Sam walked into the bedroom, pulled over the covers, and slipped inside of the bed. He took a long inhale before he exhaled while lying in the bed, still a little preoccupied by his feelings for Kurt as he laid in the bed. He wondered how long Kurt was going to be in there and debated on doing other activities before Kurt would come back, but shook his head. It was too close of a call with Kurt near by and his face got hot at the thought that he actually debated on doing such things in the bed they would soon be sleeping in.
Kurt took a couple of minutes to recompose himself, brush his teeth, fix his hair and then turned on his heels, leaving his products in the bathroom, since he would need them again in the morning. It took him quite the courage to walk over to the bed and gather his pajamas from his suitcase, first putting on the shirt and then shimmying out of his jeans so he could put on the pants. He never slept naked and he definitely wasn't planning on doing that now. So once he was dressed, he slipped under the covers, making sure not to pull them up too high so he could reveal parts of Sam's body.
Sam laid there on the bed, facing the other way as Kurt was walking into the room. He heard a few zips as Kurt probably was getting his pajamas. As he lied there, Sam didn't say a word. The tension you could cut with a knife. He could definitely feel it. It didn't take long for him to feel the covers go up a little bit and felt the body of the other boy lie down next to him. "G-- Goodnight, Kurt" Sam stammered.
Kurt bit down into his lip and stared up at the ceiling for a moment. He didn't instantly reply to Sam, his mind a chaos. Then he reached out to turn off the light, letting out a sigh as he did so. "Goodnight, Sam." He whispered, as he now stared up into the dark. He didn't like that Sam had his back turned towards him, but he wasn't really sure why it upset him. Maybe because the boy had been so close to him in the bathroom. So eventually he turned to his side and hesitantly reached out to touch Sam's back with his fingertips.
Sam closed his eyes as he laid there in the darkness, trying to fall asleep, however he knew deep within himself that he wouldn't be able to sleep. At least not anytime soon. After a few moments, Sam felt the other boy's soft fingertips press up against his back. Hesitating for a moment, Sam finally whispered, "Kurt?" After a few seconds, Sam slowly began to turn on his back, and then onto his side in order to look at his friend.
Kurt could feel his heartbeat speed up when he felt Sam turning around. His eyes weren't quite adjusted to the dark yet, but he could make out the blonde's form, since he was so close to him. He just quietly stared at Sam for a couple of minutes, unsure of what to say. He almost wanted to apologize and just turn back around. But his body didn't seem to listen to his mind as he reached out again to touch Sam's face, blinking a few times, hoping that his eyes would adjust to the darkness soon, so he could see Sam's reaction, though he also kind of liked the dark, because it hid his blush.
Sam could see the form of the other boy, but not much of anything else. There was silence as they laid there, Kurt seemed to have no response. Sam wondered if the touching was an accident, or Kurt didn't actually have nothing to say. Licking his lips as he stared back at the figure, a faint smile spread across his face as Sam felt the light touch on his face. It was soft and gentle. His instinct was to turn his head and lightly kiss the boy's hand, but he stopped himself. He didn't want to scare the brunet.
Kurt tried not to think too much about what he was doing. It didn't make sense to him anyway. He just needed to be closer; he needed to touch. It almost hurt to realize this. God, he missed being able to be close to someone. He missed being with Blaine, feeling careless and safe. He missed feeling loved. He had his friends, but it was not quite the same. And the longer he went through life being single, the more depressed he got. But now there was Sam and the butterflies and cravings were back. The simple urges that felt almost forbidden to give in to. But Sam had said he liked him, hadn't he? Was it wrong of him to want more? Would that be pushing the other boy who was still confused about his sexuality?
Sam bit his plush lower lip as he looked over at Kurt, slowly his eyes were adjusting, and he could faintly see the boy's face. He didn't seem sad, nor happy, just in deep thought as he looked at him, almost as if he lost in his own little world. While his friend seemed to be in deep thought, Sam couldn't help to yearn to touch Kurt in return. His heart was pounding at the thought of even thinking about touching him unknowing how the other would react. He took a deep breath before he let out a soft, "Are you feeling cold?"
Kurt blinked at Sam's question, not really understanding what had given him the impression that he was cold. "What? No. No, I'm kind of warm, actually." He wanted to add that Sam was the one who was naked, so if anyone had to be cold, it would probably be him - though Kurt did feel cold most of the time, it was another excuse for all the layers of clothing.
Sam lightly sighed in the darkness due to hoping to make an excuse to touch, perhaps snuggle, but Kurt wasn't cold. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay," Sam murmured, feeling a little embarrassed and hope he wasn't blushing, or anything. Besides, it was probably too dark to tell if he was.
Kurt licked his lips and closed his eyes for a moment, not sure if Sam's tone sounded disappointed or neutral. "Um, I'm fine.." He said softly. He was quiet again for a couple of minutes and then mumbled "Thank you for your concern, though." He fell silent again, but then opened his eyes again. "Sam.." He said quietly. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest. "I- " He didn't even know what to say. He wasn't sure if this was the right moment to say anything. Maybe he just had to do something. So he shut off his mind and shyly shifted a little closer. Then he tried to keep his breathing under control as he slowly leaned in towards Sam's face, giving him time to pull away if he wanted to.
Sam smiled as Kurt thanked him after a few moments of silence. His heart began to race faster and faster, feeling like it drum with each pound against his chest. He wondered if the other boy could hear it. Sam leaned in a little as Kurt said his name softly, feeling his heart pick up even more so due to loving the way that Kurt said his name. His lips parted and his breathing became heavy as the brunet inched in closer. His body frozen for a brief moment as his friend leaned in, but suddenly felt his body respond as Kurt got closer and their lips finally met.
Kurt could feel a spark going through his body as their lips met. Sam's lips were soft and warm against his own, making his heartbeat speed up even more. His hand slid from Sam's cheek, into his hair, pulling him in a little closer. His body felt like it was on fire and his skin was tingling. It was like his first kiss, like all the energy in the room built up under his skin and made him feel like he could fly.
Sam instantly saw the fireworks. He felt the fireworks. They were the fireworks. It was nothing he ever felt before. Sam had his fair share of kissing a few other girls in his lifetime so far, but it was nothing to compared to this-- to this feeling inside. It was pure bliss, it was magic, it was amazing. A low groan escaped his throat as he felt fingers through the back of his head, feeling through his hair as he was being pulled in. Immediately Sam felt himself press up against Kurt as he tilted his head slightly, as he willingly returned the kiss.
Kurt could feel something stir low in his stomach when he heard Sam's groan. It made him press in a little harder, desperate to deepen the kiss. God, it had been too long. Over a year, actually. It was like he had forgotten how amazing kissing was. It took him a couple of minutes to register Sam's body that was pressed up against him and even longer to remember that the other boy wasn't exactly dressed. It made him blush hotly, because this was definitely the most intimate he had ever been with anyone already. So he reluctantly pulled away from Sam's lips, automatically licking them. "Um.." He glanced down at Sam's bare chest. It was too dark to see anything else, but he could surely feel the rest of Sam's body.
Sam could feel himself melt, their bodies feelings as if they molded perfectly together, it was such a perfect fit and he loved the way that Kurt felt against his body. His lips parted as Kurt deepened the kiss, lightly brushing his tongue along his lower lip, before gently biting it and tugging it lightly. Soon Kurt broke from the kiss and Sam sighed at the loss of not feeling the other boy's lips on his own anymore. However, as Kurt glanced downward, his eyes followed downward, and suddenly realized the state he was in. "Oh..." He let out softly. "I... Should we..." He didn't know what to really say. "Go to bed?" He breathed.
Kurt licked his lips again, like he wanted to keep tasting Sam on his tongue, because he really couldn't get enough of the other boy. For a moment, he wanted to give in. To let it go. To just throw away his boundaries and kiss Sam until they were both out of breath. Maybe take things further, even. But it wouldn't be right. It wouldn't be him. And things wouldn't be okay if he rushed them now. So he just smiled and nodded, pressing another short kiss to Sam's lips. "We should. It.. It was nice, though."
Sam nodded in agreement and wondered if Kurt saw it, so instead he leaned in, and gave Kurt another sweet kiss. "Yes, it was," He whispered between his lips before giving him another kiss, it was a little more quick this time. "We should behave ourselves," He told Kurt with a little smirk. "Especially due to what I'm wearing, or lack of wearing," He explained and after a couple of moments Sam added a soft, "Goodnight, Kurt... Sweet dreams."
Kurt coughed softly, but chose not to respond to Sam reminding him of his lack of clothes. Instead he just blushed and treasured the kisses Sam pressed to his lips. His heart was still racing in his chest, the rest of his body tingling pleasantly. Eventually he closed his eyes and moved his hand down Sam's arm to take his hand. "Goodnight, Sam.."
Sam smiled as he took Kurt's hand into his own and softly whispered, "Goodnight, Kurt..." He already said it, but felt the need to repeat it as his eyes slowly fluttered closed. His stomach full of butterflies as he slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.

Take All The Courage You Have Left → Kum Chatzy
TAGGING → Sam Evans & Kurt Hummel
TIME FRAME → Tuesday, June 11, evening
LOCATION → Some sausage place in Berlin
NOTES → After calling Sam out on being in denial about their 'almost kiss' in Paris, Kurt agrees to meet his friend in not-quite-private, where they talk about what happened and their feelings.
Sam drummed his fingers against the wooden table as he looked around the restaurant, seeing if Kurt would be getting here soon, or even find the place. Earlier, he texted him a place that they could meet and speak. Kurt agreed to meet him, but him actually coming to see him was another thing. Kurt said that they saw each other every day, but they barely spoke, or really acknowledged each other and Sam missed him. However, Kurt didn't seem to feel the same way. Suddenly, he sprung up against him that he was being "in denial" that they kissed, which he did not expect. He'd rather talk to the other boy in a civil way in person than going back and forth through text messages. He just hoped this restaurant meeting was less awkward and tense. It was just a sausage place, nothing strange about that.
Kurt didn't know how to feel. He was terrified of the confrontation, but he had no longer been able to keep pretending nothing had happened. He didn't know Sam's reasons for acting so strange, maybe it had just been the tension, but he wanted to at least know why he had pretended he had no idea why Kurt was upset and distant. So he walked into the sausage place, feeling a bit awkward about the whole thing and the place, but at least it was quiet enough. He found Sam, already sitting at a table, and straightened his back as he walked up to his friend. "Good evening."
Sam waved at Kurt a little bit as he approached and said, "Hey there." He tried to appear as friendly as possible. He didn't want Kurt to feel strange about them meeting here. As Kurt sat down, a waiter was already coming over and giving them menus. Sam thanked him and before he even opened up the menu Sam ordered a beer, he definitely needed it in order to relax and be able to speak to Kurt. "You want anything?" He asked Kurt.
Kurt sat down and blindly stared at his menu. He wasn't particularly hungry, but he knew he would probably regret it later if he didn't eat anything. Then again, the German made no sense to him, so he just frowned at the letters that were more like a blur, due to his lack of concentration. He raised an eyebrow as Sam ordered a beer, asking for a glass of water himself. "I have no idea what to order. You know I'm not a meat person, but judging from the place, it's all they have."
Sam frowned for a moment before he went, "Hold on." He grabbed his phone from his pocket and went onto Google. He done his best to try to find out what 'salad' was in German. Once he found out, he looked over at the menu, and found the right section. "Here-- Salat... That's salad in German. I don't know what's in the salad exactly, but at least there seems to be a section of salads." There seemed to be only a few salads, but it was better than what he expected.
Kurt sighed and mumbled a "Should've known.", while he picked up the menu again and studied the ingredients. "I think I should be safe with the top one. They're usually the normal ones, without extra things. I hope." He crossed his legs and put down the menu. "I don't know too much about this country, so I'm more hesitant to try things I don't recognize."
Sam bit his lower lip. "If it's something horrible. I promise to pay for it and maybe take you out another time. There is an awesome burger place here from what I hear. All American food. You know since it's burgers. I'll take you there," He promised, as he looked at the menu, looking up words here and there to figure out what it meant. Eventually, he knew where the sausages were and knew which one he wanted. The waiter came back with the beer and water. Sam thanked him and then told him what he wanted to order.
Kurt didn't instantly reply. He didn't know what to think of Sam offering to take him out again. It sounded like a date and that was far from the point of their current meeting up. No, he wanted to know why Paris had felt like a date. Why Sam had acted so strangely, like he was taken by him. Maybe he had imagined some of it, but certainly not all of it. "Sure. Maybe." He eventually said, voice flatter than intended. He managed a weak smile at the waiter and ordered for himself, quite certain he ruined the entire German language within one sentence. He waited for the waiter to disappear again and took a sip of his water. "So," He started, a dull headache already coming up. "About Paris."
Sam grabbed his glass of beer once the waiter left and lifted it up to his lips, taking a sip, and tasted completely different from what he expected. He was told that with each sip beer tasted better. He took another sip to see if that was true, however he couldn't really tell yet. As he was taking that sip he heard Kurt seeming to want to start on their conversation. He knew it would be coming eventually. Before responding Sam took another sip, hoping to get a little bit more courage, and finally sat the glass down on the table. "What do you want to know exactly?"
Kurt didn't believe in the miraculous powers of alcohol, but he felt like he was going to regret ordering a glass of water. He crossed his arms as well, closing himself off, prepared to get hurt. "I want to know why you acted like nothing happened. I've been trying to just forget about it, but I can't. I want to know what happened and why you acted the way you did, after which you pretended you had no idea why I was feeling hurt. I'm a person, even if I act like some ice cold bitch sometimes."
Sam sighed. "You don't have to talk about yourself in that way... I'm sorry that I did that. It was very inappropriate. I'm sorry if I upset you by doing that. I shouldn't have tried to do that to you," He apologized, feeling as if Kurt was upset due to the fact that Sam tried to make a move on him without his consent. He didn't mean to. It just happened.
Kurt shook his head. "I know I can be. Sometimes I even want people to think that. It's easier than answering questions about how I'm feeling. I don't like showing my emotions, unless they're happy." He sighed. "Look, I don't know what to think about the moment itself, but I'm just confused now. I know nothing really happened, but it upset me that you acted like there wasn't even almost something."
Sam brought the beer up to his lips and took another generous sip once again before putting it back down on the table as he listened to Kurt. He bit his lower lip unknowing what to really say and thinking about what to exactly say. After a moment Sam finally opened his mouth to speak and said, "I was hoping you wouldn't notice that's why... I'm confused too."
Kurt frowned a little at Sam's reply. "You were hoping I wouldn't notice what?" He asked, still defensive. He didn't know what Sam wanted from him, but he wasn't going to be someone's experiment. Not even for his crush. Sam had clearly said he was straight, which only made everything more confusing. "Why are you confused?"
Sam sighed out as he drummed his fingers a little bit against the table and tried to avert his eyes away from Kurt. "Notice I was trying to kiss you," He murmured as he continued to concentrate on the table and not look up at Kurt. "I'm confused, because... Of reasons," He murmured too shy to really confess what he was confused about.
Kurt held back a groan of frustration. Sam wasn't being clear with him at all. "Of course I noticed. Why else would our faces only be inches away from each other?" He retorted, ready to turn sarcastic. He sighed and took another sip from his water. "You're confused because you.. almost kissed me and I'm a guy and you are straight." He chose his words carefully, not wanting to ask if Sam actually wanted to kiss him or it was just a moment of confusion.
Sam couldn't help to glare a little at Kurt due to his words. "You don't have to be so rude. I thought you of all people would understand," Sam couldn't help to snap back at the other boy and got up from his chair. "I need to go to the restroom," He murmured before he began to head towards the direction of the restroom.
Kurt blinked, taken aback by Sam's reaction. He didn't understand what the boy meant at all. But before he could ask for some clarity, Sam had gotten up and started to walk away. "Sam. Sam!" He didn't even know what he wanted to say, but he felt awful after Sam's words. He didn't understand why Sam had snapped at him, while all he wanted was an explanation. He didn't like to be in the dark, nor did he want to be played with. He trusted Sam, but his past made him easily suspicious.
Sam pushed the bathroom door open and walked to the sink. Turning on the cool water, Sam splashed some water on his face, and looked at the mirror as he tried to calm himself down, try to relax. He sighed not being able to think of the right words to say to Kurt. He was confused, unsure of his feelings, unknowing what they really meant. Did he just like Kurt? Or did he like boys? Eventually, he left the restroom and began to head back to the table. By the time, he got back to it he saw the food was already there.
Kurt felt the urge to just get up, cancel his order and walk out. He couldn't see how this was going to be anything but the disaster it had already become. But before he could do as planned, the waiter returned with the food, so it would be very rude to just walk out now. He sighed, not feeling very hungry, but a salad couldn't get cold, so he decided to just stare at it at first. He wondered if he should go after Sam to tell him his food had arrived, but the boy didn't take very long to show up again. Kurt kept his eyes on his plate, while he played with his fork. "What do you need me to understand?" He then asked quietly.
Sam looked up at Kurt quickly, before looking back down at his food, and picking up the sausage. "Just forget it, Kurt. Every time I open up my mouth you get offended with what I say it seems recently," He stated, before he brought the sausage to his lips and took a bite from it. He was calm and content now, especially since he now had his food. He didn't know what to really say to Kurt. It seemed as if every time he opened his mouth Kurt got upset with him and would snap.
Kurt could feel his stomach turn. He didn't want to be the bitchy version of himself he had become. But how could he explain to Sam that he was constantly on the edge because of his feelings for the other boy? That he was trying to seem uninterested, because he knew his crush was useless? That he easily snapped because he was so damn unhappy? "Please. I won't get angry. I just want to understand." He tried.
Sam looked up at Kurt for a quite second before he grabbed his napkin and wiped his mouth. "I'm confused... Sexually, okay?" He murmured, before grabbing the spicy mustard that was on the table and began to put that on top of his sausage. He was trying to distract himself from what was actually happening.
Kurt frowned a little, not having expected Sam's reply. He almost laughed. This wasn't happening. He was going to wake up soon and Sam would be straight. "You're.. confused.." He echoed. "But.. you said I should understand. I've never.. been confused, Sam. I've only been in denial, honestly." He pushed his food around with his fork, still unable to take a bite. "But I suppose you mean I should be accepting. Which I am. I really am. I'm just.. I'm still processing."
Sam felt stupid now as he sipped his beer. He never thought Kurt was confused, but he still thought that Kurt would be understanding, he was accepting, but apparently not understanding. He didn't know what else to really say, so he brought the sausage to his lips and took another bite as his friend stated that he was still processing. He didn't have anything else to say at the moment and felt no desire to add anymore comments. He felt awkward and confused enough as it is.
Kurt bit down into his bottom lip and finally looked up from his plate, taking in Sam's body language, since his friend wasn't speaking. "Sam," He said softly. "I'm trying to understand. I really am. But.. I can't help but wonder if you almost kissed me because you wanted to see if you also like boys or because you.. like me.. I mean, I know I would be the first guy to go to, since I'm gay and confident about it, now. So I get it if I'd be your go-to person to.. experiment or something.."
Sam shook his head as he immediately went, "You weren't someone to experiment with." He looked down from Kurt, starting to really feel shy, and not wanting to talk about this anymore, especially in such a public setting. He grabbed hi beer and took a huge gulp from the glass before setting it back down, hoping to get some bravery from drinking a little bit more.
Kurt could feel a light blush creep up his cheeks as he took in Sam's words. Did that mean it was the other option? Was that actually a possibility? He took a bite from his salad, hand trembling slightly. He needed to distract himself somehow. His mind was racing; he had so many questions, but he couldn't find any words to say.
Sam couldn't help to have a little smile, but tried not to smile too much when Kurt seemed to have nothing to say and saw a little more color in his friend's cheeks than usual. He grabbed a couple of fries and ate them all at once. Afterward, he sipped his beer and then grabbed his sausage getting ready to take another bite. He didn't know what else to really say and was curious as to what he was thinking, but he didn't want to ask Kurt and make him feel awkward about having to possibly tell him.
Kurt couldn't help but feel a little awkward while he watched Sam eat his sausage. It made something stir in his stomach and he quickly looked down at his salad again. "Oh." He eventually said, because he had no idea what else to say. He didn't even know what to think. Did this mean Sam liked him? He finished his glass of water and wondered if he should order something stronger, next. Maybe liquid courage wasn't such a bad idea after all.
Sam nodded as he hummed, "Mhm," unknowing how to really continue the conversation. He didn't know what else to really say. He wasn't willing to let it all out unless maybe Kurt asked him a question, or two. He was still unsure about his feelings and didn't want to just start rambling on and on about how he had felt about Kurt. Sam didn't want to make his friend feel uncomfortable.
Kurt twirled his fork around with his fingers. He didn't feel very comfortable, the silence awkward, pressuring him to say something. Anything. It was nice to know he hadn't been just an experiment in Sam's eyes, but he wasn't sure what to think, since there hadn't been an actual kiss. The whole situation was just confusing to him. So he cleared his throat and forced himself to look up at his friend again. "How's the.. sausage?"
Sam finished swallowing the bite that was in his mouth and said, "It's really good. Nice and hot, spicy, juicy." He put the sausage down on the plate and ate a couple of fries before he sipped his beer. "Your salad good?" He asked, continuing on with the food conversation. Maybe they can talk about the kissing and what not later?
Kurt almost choked on a bite of his salad, instantly regretting bringing the topic of conversation to sausages. He coughed and glanced down at his own food again. "It's good. Different from what I'm used to, but that's probably because it's not really a salad place. It's clearly only for the vegetarians or something."
Sam shrugged. "Well, it's a place known for their sausages. I'll make sure to pick a place where there is better salads next time. Sorry," He apologized as he sipped his beer once again. "Are you okay? You were coughing, or choking a moment ago. You sure you're alright?" He asked.
Kurt blushed slightly. "It's alright, I'm getting by. You don't need to adjust your preferences for me. I'm glad you're at least enjoying your food." He managed to look up and nod. "I'm okay. I think a piece of lettuce got stuck in my throat for a second." He smiled weakly.
Sam leaned in and patted Kurt's back a little bit before pulling away. He ate another fry and kept playing with another one before he added, "So... Is there anything else you want to ask me?" He thought he would just let it out and ask Kurt to get it out of the way.
Kurt tried not to melt too much into the slight touch. He cursed himself for the crush that had only intensified, while he had thought the conversation would scare him enough to just let go. Sam's question caught him off guard, though. So he looked up, confused, and trying his hardest not to stutter too much as he replied. "I- Excuse me? I don't- What do you mean?"
Sam noticed Kurt's stammer and struggle to get the words out and just shook his head. "Never mind," He murmured before he grabbed his sausage again and finally finished it. He licked his lips after his final bite and groaned as he enjoyed it's flavor while he grabbed his beer once again and took another sip.
Kurt shifted a little in his seat and stared down at his almost empty plate as he heard Sam groaning. This was not okay and this wasn't going to be okay. He tightened his fingers around his fork. "Do you like me?" He then blurted out, avoiding any kind of eye contact with Sam as he held on to his fork like it was his life support.
Sam didn't think that Kurt would be so blunt with how quiet and uncomfortable that Kurt appeared to be. He bit his lower lip debating on what he should say exactly. After a brief moment he said softly, "Do you want the truth?" He felt his heart race at the thought of telling Kurt how he really felt.
Kurt could feel himself getting nauseous. He felt terribly nervous, especially because of Sam's reaction. He automatically braced himself for a rejection. Which would be okay. He'd had crushes on straight guys before and just because Sam said he was confused, didn't mean he was into Kurt. "Please." He breathed, once he had found his voice.
Sam licked his lips due to them feeling dry to his nervousness. It felt almost as if his chest was pulsating with how hard his heart was beating. He almost felt like he was going to pass out due to the butterflies in his stomach before he gently nodded as he murmured, "I do."
Kurt could feel his heart stop for a moment, eyes widening as he automatically looked up at Sam. He almost asked his friend to repeat himself, to be sure he hadn't been imagining the answer, but he didn't want to make Sam feel even more awkward. "I-" He licked his lips and played with his fork again, though he managed to keep his eyes on Sam's face. He attempted to shut off his mind - god, this would have been so much easier if he hadn't been drinking water, but followed Sam's example instead - and took a shaky breath. "Me too." He then said, voice barely a whisper.
Sam was taken back when his friend confessed that he had feelings for him too, or at least that is what he assumed that he meant. He felt as if he couldn't breathe as while looking over at the other boy, shocked due to unknowing the other's feelings for him. However, at the same time it made sense the more he thought about it, due to how offended Kurt seemed to be with him almost kissing him and not doing so in the end.
Kurt blushed and looked down again. He didn't know what to think of Sam's reaction. Or the lack of one. He put down his fork, not feeling up to finishing his plate. The conversation had turned too serious for a simple dinner and he couldn't believe he had confessed one of his biggest secrets to the person who it revolved around. Then again, it was much better than spilling it to Rachel or even Quinn.
Sam looked up at Kurt, flashing him a brilliant smile, before looking down again due to unknowing what to really say still. What else could he say after such a confession? And after Kurt confessed he felt the same way about him. Finally, after a few moments Sam finally said, "Sorry, I didn't say anything... I was confused and scared to say anything."
Kurt smiled weakly and bit down into his bottom lip, before looking up again, feeling comforted by Sam's smile. "It's alright. I understand. It's.. scary at first. I mean, I suppose it always is when you like someone, but this situation must have been even harder for you. I appreciate your honesty, though."
Sam continued to smile as he gazed over at Kurt who seemed happy to accept who he was and his feelings. He felt great knowing that he wasn't rejected, or that Kurt didn't seem disgusted by him, or his confession. It was nice to know that his friend understood where he was coming from and liked his honesty.
Kurt couldn't stop smiling, though he knew this didn't mean anything just yet. But it was nice to know his crush wasn't entirely hopeless. So he licked his lips again and uncrossed his legs. "Shall we go back? I think we solved our.. issue." He stated.
Sam couldn't help to chuckle a little bit at Kurt's words, feeling a little bit more relaxed knowing that it finally all came out, at least with Kurt. He hoped that his friend would be discreet. He was pretty sure that he would be. "Yeah," He agreed, as he stood up from the table, opening his wallet, and putting money down on the table
Kurt let out a breath he didn't realize he had been holding and stood up as well. He picked up his bag and paid for his own food, while butterflies were still quite violently fluttering around in his stomach. But he didn't want to rush anything or assume things, so he decided to let everything sink in first, so he could talk about it with Sam more easily, some other time.
