What’s your favorite story you’ve written?

Oh gosh that is always the hardest question to answer because I have written over 1000 fics at this point for so, so, so many different fandoms and ships and what I love always depends on what I am deeply obsessed with at the time. Which, well, is how all those fics are born in the first place.

So I usually go with the answer of what I'm proudest of, most consistently. And that's Chasing Fireflies. At over 400k it is the longest story I have ever written, I put the most thought into the actual plot (usually, my focus is the ship and all else I see more as the things to enable the ship; I don't care too much for developing intricate villain plots, but in this case, I am proud of the thought and consistency I put into the villain plot they're fighting).

Chasingverse anon here, after reading your ask abour Celine di Angelo joining the hunt, I hope somehow that Clarisse's rebirth (which I think was name Caitlene) is still from di Angelo line because I think its a certain dramatic irony like PJ Raser but Caitlene gets born on another di Angelo line that keeps the di Angelo name unlike PJ and Annalene who are Raser

Actually, Caitlene is a Raser! On her mother's side.

Her dad is Cadogan di Angelo, who is actually Celine's son.

And her mom is Rene Mikaelson, the daughter of Cornelia Raser and Yone Mikaelson.

I wanna know a hc of what Sonny's kids would be like inheriting Hermes/Hades power combination... its an interesting combination for sure kinda wanna know if you ever thought of Cosimo and Capyra as Underworld/Water duo and Cosimo having Legacy of Hades/Hermes powers

There is no Sonny kid with a predominant legacy of both Hades and Hermes; the only Sonny kid with a dual legacy is Cal, who's a legacy of Hades and Poseidon.

Chrysoula/Soul is a legacy of Hades, Chrysanthos/Sand is a legacy of Poseidon and Chrysostomos/Stole is a legacy of Hermes; hence the triplets' nicknames!

Celine is a legacy of Ares, and the twins are Hermes for Cosimo and Poseidon for Capyra, respectively.

I just generally tried to keep dual legacies to a minimum because it feels so much like overpowering your OCs, you know?

For Chasingverse, I scoped through all your ask after being in a Chasingverse withdrawal and got interested in Derek/Donny ask. I like the idea of Derek being some sort of Yuno Gasai from Mirai Nikki who's obsessed with this strong guy who doesnt know how to deal with his powers for reasons he never knew and stalked him for years and probably not knowing how to confess that he likes Donny. I still think this is a universe where he meets Donny before Sam and has a love-at-first sight kinda thing and him and Sam is still friends. Maybe he would compete with Sander for Donny's attention and that's what the whole Sander/Derek is? To settle fight over Donny like Trend/Derek is? Also I wanna know how Derek is in this universe bc maybe he might not be the biggest jerk in canon bc he has a crush on Donny in this scenario but it sounds like it would be interesting and whether Donny/Sander/Dere would be a threesome

I have no idea who Yuno Gasai is or what Mirai Nikki is, but I do think that Derek... he very specifically doesn't like weak people and Donny before realizing his powers and embracing them, I don't think he would have sought Donny out.

If this Donny took more after my first draft of the character, a great hero who always trained for it and knew his own worth in that regard, Derek would totally hit on him, yeah.

I headcannon that one of Sonny's little girl joined the hunt because she adored her badass aunts (also I would definitely like to think Donny is a sentimental and hugely emotional person that would give a middle name to one of the girls in the family with the name Bianca because that's Donny's favorite sister there even if she joins the hunt I think she deserved a daughter with her namesake? Celine Bianca di Angelo or Capyra Bianca di Angelo since Calogero is a nod to Sander's twin sister and shared nicknames in Cal/Cally so. I figured Bianca Maria deserved to be namesake for a girl in the family because I can see Donny doing this. That and Bianca is a nice middle name). I also wanna know Sonny's reaction to their child joining the hunt its quite interesting thought if the new new gens di Angelo did join the hunt

I felt like I went, uh, heavy on the middle name and on the "named after friends/family" with my direct next gen so I deliberately went veeery light on it in my third gen, and also decided that the Sonny off-springs would have Donny's last name but the naming scheme of Sander's family, to unite both - and Sander and his sisters have names of Greek origin starting with the letter C and do not have a middle name.

If they had given their kids middle names, Donny would have named his oldest daughter after his beloved big sister though, so Chrysoula Bianca di Angelo.

To be honest, Calogero is actually not a nod to Calandra, though I can see why! I chose the name because 1. starts with a C and is of Greek origin and 2. the meaning is "beautiful elder", which I thought was a wonderful choice for their firstborn child.

I think the kid of theirs that would, both, really worship Cally in particular and also would consider joining the hunt, would be Celine, since she is the only legacy of Ares in the bunch.

Soul has a too tight bond to her other triplets and Cap has her twin-brother, someone they wouldn't want to leave behind by joining the hunt.

I could honestly see Celine join the hunt, together with her best friend Lean Grace - who would have a similar admiration for her great-aunt Thalia Grace.

Usually not a big fan of Nicercy or Percico or OC centric fanfic anything before your Chasingverse but you made me attached to your next gen kids OCs and I love their dynamics that I apologize in advance for uh flooding your inbox earlier and I hope you won't mind!

From what I remember from the Chasingverse, I think Percy Junior and Hazel Pandora died before Percy's 100th bday? I still think this remains to be the biggest mystery to date bc I wanna know who Dora's love interest is, how Percy Junior and Dora died, how did Silly eventually become a thing with Jimmy and Basty and it quite makes me curious what happens in your universe next

Let's start this slightly in reverse and do Silly and Jimmy first. The fic that would have told their story would have been Mad Magic, and their section of the fic (it was planned to be three parts, spanning the generations between my next gen and the rebirth generation; I had fics in this vein planned for all the tree branches).

And! I actually put a concrete summary into the document! Yay, me! So I can actually tell you how him, Basty and Silly got together!

Seven years after 'Chasing Fireflies', in 2039. Jimmy di Angelo has had enough of watching his best friend Basty swapping spite with his twin-sister, so Jimmy gets himself a girlfriend too, since that's the trend. Everybody gets girlfriends and boyfriends. But Basty and Silly don't like that Jimmy is now dating Bella la Fey, a daughter of Ares.

Percy Junior died on June 6th 2054, so yes, before his 100th birthday.

I can tell you a bit about Dora, I am very mad that I never took more detailed notes on what I wanted to happen in the story itself, like, plotwise, but I do still have some notes.

Her story, and the story that consequently would have seen Percy Junior's death happen, is called The Quest for Firestorm and it would have resolved around Dora and her questing party.

Dora didn't have a fixed planned love-interest, mainly due to Sam-esque reasons (i.e., Sam Raser was never meant to be a main character, much less to develop a romantic relationship with Trend or Derek, it just all... happened naturally as I got to flesh these characters out more while writing the story, and since I had planned a longer multi-chapter fic to tell Dora's story, I didn't want to lock myself in with giving her a definite love interest and instead let the story tell me where she would lean and who she would be with).

The members include Tom Grace, Cal di Angelo, Eli Raser, Anna & Nick Chase (Luke/Thess' twins), Yuki Murdock (Loki/Blance's daughter), Yone Mikaelson (Marshall/Sara's son), Saphira Foxx (Joe/Nico's daughter), and their satryr guide Chuck Hedge (the only non-OC lol).

Sadly, I am an absolute fool and did not include a summary for this fic. It infuriates me.

What I do remember is that I wanted to reuse the second Great Prophecy for it, in a "what, you thought both Great Prophecies happen within half a year of each other lol no the Giant War wasn't it" kind of way. Hence the name "Firestorm" - the line to storm or fire, the world must fall. The story would have also involved Erebus/Nyx and Hemera/Aether, to stick with the PJO tradition of climbing further up the godly family tree.

Also I want to think of an AU where Thess di Angelo paid more attention to her twin while trying to cheer Donny up in his own way, and tried to matchmake his twin sister with Lizzy Mason (maybe) and Donny with... someone idk? I like the idea of Lizzy/Percy Junior where Thess actually tried to matchmake her best friend and Luke helped in matchmaking Thess' twin brother since he's a legacy of Aphrodite. So Thess and Luke dated earlier maybe (?) and this definitely happens before Luke Kitty and Percy become best of best friends where Luke hit on Thess earlier and maybe they dated before the clique form? I like Thess/Luke matchmaking I'm probably interested in this verse and what you think

I think that Thess would have actually tried to set Donny up with Luke, in an act of just fully projecting. Luke is so perfect and pretty and oh yeah that would be a great match for Donny!! (Since Luke is, age-wise, right between Thess and Donny. At which point I have to note, good gods I am delighted that I kept such good record of this verse that I have a list of all characters' birth years+month)

(I also think that actively trying to set Donny and Luke up would have made Thess jealous and thus would have made him realize his feelings for Luke.)

Lizzy/Percy is an interesting pitch and I could see Thess trying to go for that, yeah.

For chasing verse I always wondered what if Amy Cage noticed that Percy Junior is pulling away/rebelling stage and set herself to try and cheer her best friend up and then went 'oh no I caught feelings for my best friend' kinda thing... it would be interesting to see Amy Cage/Percy Junior together

While I never did make this a thing in canon - mostly because I was lacking the vocabulary/knowledge to do it - today, I would say that Amy is aroace, actually.

But you're very valid and I get the best-friend-shipping! ;)

No!! I never mind asks in general, especially when they show interest in my work! Fun fact, this blog fully started out as a place to better talk to my readers since AO3 with its lack of a PM function pissed me off.

I'm very flattered by the enthusiasm for my OCs and for this story, in particular, since it does mean a lot to me, and I will answer your other asks to the best of my ability, though I do have to add that it has been years since I wrote it so things may escape me. ^^°

I don't know if I ever will get back to writing for this verse though, since, it really has been many years, though I do still have two titled documents in my WIP folder for it that I hadn't been able to let go.

The di Angelo family name carries so much meaning and legacy in this world that the kid (and Trend) would take it. So, in a similar manner as Jackson di Angelo, they would name their son Austin Michael di Angelo, middle name honoring Trend's dad.

A legacy of Poseidon and Athena, a strategist to boot, but especially in the department of marine warfare. ;D

That's a sweet offer, but that would defeat the purpose. The purpose of refreshing is to get sucked back into the world I created and that's not something done second-hand, I'd have to reread that myself for it.

And I have neither the time nor the emotional capacity for that, I have a lot going on IRL rn. Also, uuuh, a big time hyperfixation going on right now with Teen Wolf, so not even inspiration-space to think about non-Hale-Pack-related things... ^^°
