CHARUKO WEEK DAY #1 - First Meeting

This a scene during their first meeting, I thought it'd work well to remake :)

I prolly won't be able to do a lot of Charuko week stuff since I'm busy, but if I can't post anything else, this is the one thing I want to post *sigh* On the bright side, I will be reblogging anything and everything Charuko week related. I can already tell this is going to be a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to seeing what y'all make ;)

In my head popped an idea of a Charuko fanfic in which Teruko would realize she can get Charles away by flirting with him and would uncounsiously start to like him by doing it. Like where she wouldn’t have monocredits to get him away.

Plus! How she would find out is at the cafeteria she would be eating a burnt burger and Charles, uninvited, would sit at her table and lecture her on unhealthy eating habits and how eating burnt food is bad and can be toxic. She's fed up with him already and is desperately defending her burnt burger, as its way better than what she used to eat, to which Charles retorts that that is a horrible defence.

Out of nowhere pops out Whit, who was just looking for Charles and saw him once again sitting near Teruko. He says some “stupid” comment like

“isn't this the 4th time this week I've found you sitting next to Teruko? Charles, don't tell me you've finally found a girlfriend..” with a shit eating grin.

Teruko responds with a “Whit, the only one who's getting a crush is him, I've been desperately trying to get him away.” she eats her burnt burger and waits for Charles comment, which will obviously be something just as witty as hers was, but suddenly doesn't hear anything. Looking up she is met with a very-blushed-not-working Charles, who is somehow still processing their comments. Whit pokes his face with a finger trying to get him out of his trance and does succeed. Charles jumps up and stutters an excuse to go away, and says that this does not mean anything, anything at all.

Only one thought is in Terukos mind, ‘Huh, I could use this’

With Charuko week coming up, I thought I'd laid down some extra information / rules.

RULES

•No NSFW art or writing for the prompts. That makes me uncomfy + it would ruin the cozy vibes I want this event / week to have.

•Other characters are allowed to be included in the prompts, but please make sure Charuko is the main focus.

•Do not harass fellow participants for their takes on prompts. The whole point of this event it to unite Charuko lovers, both platonic or romantic, not tear each other down.

EXTRA INFO

•Not all prompts have to be in a romantic context. While this event is mainly romance centered, there is nothing wrong with wanting to participate with platonic interpretations instead!

•Be sure to tag your prompts as #charuko week so that I can see them! I want to try and repost / retweet all the art / writing I see!

•You are more than allowed to draw, write, etc. for this event! Anything creative related to Charuko is awesome to me!

Charuko Week - Day 3 - Gardening

[Charuko Week - Day 3 - Gardening]

It was a lovely spring day. A perfrct day for gardening. There sat Charles & Teruko, planting a little tree together.

"So, it actually is possible to plant cherry blossom trees in America, huh?" Teruko smiled down at the little tree.

"Of course. They don't just exist in Japan, after all. You can find them in the UK, Washington, etcetera. They're always somewhere."

"Wow…That's amazing."

As they kept adjusting the soil, Teruko looked back at Charles. His smile couldn't have been happier. He really enjoys plants, huh?

"You having fun?"

"…! Oh, well…y-yes, actually."

"And why's that?"

"…"

Charles chuckled and placed a red rose he had picked earlier into Teruko's hair. Both him and her had a small blush that bloomed on their faces.

"Because I'm with one of the prettiest snapdragons I've ever met."

Charles smiled gently at Teruko as her face grew a bit redder.

"And I wouldn't change that. Not at all."

Charuko Week - Day 2 - Chemistry

Charles was busy in the lab, mixing some chemicals together. He seemed occupied, but for what reason? Whatever he was making, it must be cool!

"Charles?" The familiar voice of Teruko had called to him from the doorway. The chemist jumped and looked over, slightling fumbling with his beakers.

"T-Teruko."

"Oh. Sorry, did I startle you?"

"…A-A little."

Teruko soon walked into the room, her curiousity peaked by all the science stuff going on.

"Doing chemistry stuff?"

"Mhmm. A pretty fun experiment involving gas particles. I want to see if I'm able to created a shape out of pure smoke."

"Woah. Sounds cool…but also dangerous…"

"Hey, I'll be fine. I've done more dangerous experiments than this."

"Hahaha. Yeah, I guess that makes sense."

…….

"Can I…watch you?"

"Oh, yeah, sure."

Charuko Week - Day 1 - First Kiss

The building was dimmed in the evening. It was night time, and there sat Charles & Teruko, watching a movie on the couch. It was a romantic comedy movie, reccommended by Whit, and they both decided to watch it together just to see how cheesy it would be. It was nice, even if it was a bit silly.

As they were watching the movie, Charles yawned and wrapped his arm around Teruko's shoulders. Teruko, albeit a bit surprised, soon had a small, smug smile on her face. Does he think he think he's slick? Charles looked back down at her, his smile just as smug. Yep, he knew what he was doin'.

Here they were, just enjoying a movie together…enjoying eachother's company. And before either of them knew it…they leaned in towards eachother. Both of their lips parting, both of their eyes closing…there wasn't anything else to fully think about. And thus…their lips had met. It was a simple and small kiss…but it was calming.

It lasted for a small while, and them their lips parted as they smiled at eachother again. It was the first of many to come. And they were ready to cherish that.
