Imagine being a Reaper, and Death letting you have a day off, and you spend it with Charlie.

You didn’t have much experience in human affairs. You had watched, but that didn’t mean that you participated. You had seen clips of movies in the background of living rooms in which men had heart attacks, and had seen the covers of books in the bedrooms of girls who had taken their own lives. But you didn’t pay attention to either for you were so focused on your job as a reaper. Almost too focused, for Death itself had noticed your lack of empathy, which he still thought was important. So he gave you relief, and sent you to a woman who lived life very well.

“So what kind of things do you like?” Charlie asked, as the two of you sat on the couch in her small apartment. You looked around, taking in the things around you.

“I don’t know,” You said, brows furrowed.

“Okay, do you like the Hobbit?” She asked, hopefully.

You looked at her blankly, trying to figure out what that had meant. “I do not much care for the sound of a ... frog, is it?”

Rather than grow exasperated, she grew excited. She hopped up and grabbed a well-worn book off of her bookshelf and flipped through the pages in front of it. “You’re going to love Middle Earth, I promise.”

Your bio says you’re an elder millennial but that’s not really specific do you mind saying how old you are or a ballpark? Just really curious bc honestly you don’t look that old in your vids.

To answer your question specifically, I was born in 1981. Hahaha. I am older than the internet. And for anyone who is listening closely and heard me whisper the age 42 instead of 43 no you absolutely did not your ears were playing tricks on you as I clearly stated I was born in 1981 and of course you can do the math. Anyone living in reality with half a bowl of applesauce for brains can.
