Here's another one lol this one will be getting a part two at some point hope you enjoy!
TW for reader forgetting to eat.
You are already annoyed as it is. This little game Charlie wanted to play was fun at first, but now it was just grating at your last nerve. You can’t blame your sister for your boredom or annoyance either. It isn't her fault you aren't used to this stuff. You’ve never been one to sit still for long periods of time, preferring instead to constantly stay busy. Trips to the other rings, paperwork, Sins, Overlords, your parents, and your sister constantly keep you moving. Sitting here in the hotel for several hours feels wrong.
Your schedule has been entirely shaken up by this surprise free day. How your sister managed to cancel your meeting with Mammon, you will never know, but that is the only thing you're really thankful for at this moment. Not having to meet with him was always a plus in your book, as it always freed up several hours that would have otherwise been wasted. That was always a plus. This however, is definitely not.
There is nothing wrong with your older sister's vision. You are happy she found something to be so passionate about! It's great, actually! There was, however, some vague annoyance with her antics. She never pulled her own weight, which left all of the important (and less important) duties for you to handle. You really wish she would help with all the tasks and to-do lists, but all of her focus and time and energy is sunk into the hotel. The very hotel you are sitting in now.
The couch you are curled up on currently is comfortable enough. The vague cold surrounding you seeps through your skin, penetrating your bones. Glancing quickly at the clock, you notice the time. It was late, considering you had to be up at 7am to get ready for the following day. You were exhausted. Why your sister wanted to play this game of charades, you didn't know. It was fun at first, of course. Most games were, but after spending almost half the day playing, you were sick of it.
Glancing around at the others, you note their various reactions to the game. Husk was drinking, the frown that always seemed to be etched onto his face was present, even now. Angel was shouting obscene guesses on what Charlie was pretending to be. Vaggie was glaring at him, aggression rolling off her in waves with every single guess Angel made. Niffty was distracted stabbing all the bugs she saw. Charlie was standing in front of everyone, making big exaggerated gestures that nobody understood.
Your eyes fall onto the final person in the room; Alastor. He is seated on the same couch as you, smiling as he watches everyone sitting around playing. He had taken the second cushion on the loveseat long after the game had started. If you had to guess, he was probably broadcasting before he came down.
Alastor had always piqued your interest. He was very well put together and proper. He was, seemingly, respectful and reserved. Etiquette seemed to be built into his very being, and yet there was something about him you noticed when you first met him. He was off in a way you couldn't quite describe back then. Being Lucifer's daughter, you had met plenty of demons, but none like Alastor.
Despite the off vibe he gave you at the beginning, the two of you got along for the most part. Initially, you had hesitated, but after several conversations, you slowly let your guard slip down around him. You went from occasional conversations to seeking him out, sometimes even spending hours in his radio tower with him, just relaxing when you needed a break. Those hours, unlike today, never felt like wasted time.
Through your consistent interactions with Alastor, you had both learned many things about each other. One of the things he had learned about you happened to be that you had a nasty habit of skipping meals, which caused you to faint. It was never intentional on your part. You would get so absorbed in your work that you just forgot to eat. After learning this, Alastor started taking matters into his own hands.
It was not uncommon for one of Alastor's shadows to follow you around and bring you small things to eat and drink whenever he felt you needed it. It was a small gesture that you appreciated. It meant you didn't have to stop working and lose motivation, which made you happy, and it kept him satisfied that you were taken care of. He was no longer on your ass about eating and drinking since this little arrangement had been put in place.
Today, you have been in the hotel all day. There was no reason for them to follow you around today, or so you had thought initially. Sitting here now, however, with your vision slowly starting to blur, you realized you haven't eaten today. Now that you think about it, you're not even sure you even moved from the couch at all today.
You sit still, trying not to give away anything happening at the moment, only to fail. You blink once, then twice, your vision slowly fills with black spots. Your center of gravity shifts as your consciousness leaves your body, and the last thing you remember is the feeling of falling.
—----------------------—
Alastor had not expected the sudden weight on his shoulder. Glancing over at you to see what was wrong, he found your unconscious body. He sighed silently, realizing what had happened and adjusted so you were both in a more comfortable position. He would talk to you about this when you came back. The smile never left his lips as he looked back up towards the group still absorbed in their game.
—--------------------—
When you finally come back, the first thing your brain registers is that you are no longer cold. The second thing is that you are very comfortable. Slowly, you open your eyes, just seeing blurry red. You bury your face even closer to whatever it was, considering going back to sleep. You inhale slowly through your nose, recognizing the scent of woods and rain with hints of iron. This smelled like Alastor. You open your eyes again, confused, everything still blurry. Why did the couch smell like Alastor?
You feel someone's fingers run slowly through your hair. Clearing your vision, you glance up slowly, realizing where you are. The red you were seeing was not the back of the couch, it was Alastor's stomach. You were laying with your head on his thighs and your face buried in his stomach. This was an embarrassing position to be in. You consider just going back to sleep. You are comfortable and warm, but you decide against it.
Slowly, you sit up, rubbing your eyes. You can feel Alastor's hand on your shoulder, steadying you. You look up at him when your vision clears, smiling softly. You notice your sister and everyone else still absorbed completely in what they are doing. Sitting up onto the couch correctly, you lean fully into Alastor's side, resting your head on his shoulder.
“30 minutes.”
You look at him confused for a moment before realizing what he meant. You had been sleeping like that for 30 minutes.
Blushing, you nod. “Sorry. I didn't mean to…”
Before you can even finish your statement, he is pulling you up silently and leading you to the kitchen.
“You didn't eat today. That is not happening again.”
You pout at being scolded, but blush slightly at the commanding tone. He was one of the few people you would allow to take charge and make demands of you.
“Yes, Sir.” You give a salute. “Won't happen again.” You smile, resting your hand on your hips as you lean against the counter, watching him cook for you. You try to push out your brain fog as you watch him. “Thank you. For, you know, always taking care of me.”
He nods in response, focusing on what he is doing and you smirk.
“You look so good when you cook,” you say.
He nods again. You assume he is not paying attention and smirk even wider.
“That was the best sleep I've had in a long time. You smell amazing.” You giggle softly as he nods again.
“Can I play with your ears? They look so soft.”
When he nods again, you snicker even more, deciding to push a bit further to see if you could get him to pay attention.
“You should let me sleep with you. I bet your room is comfortable, and that's the best sleep I've ever had.” You pause for a moment and continue when you get no response. “Plus I'm in love with you, and I think it's really hot when you make demands and tell me what to do.”
Not getting a response, you giggle again and decide to just watch him cook. After he finishes, he sets a plate in front of you, cleaning up the stuff he used while you eat. When you finish, he takes your plate and fork, cleaning them off as well. You try to stand, only to wobble and almost fall.
He catches you, pulling you up into his arms bridal style, and makes his way towards the rooms. He bypasses the hall that has guest rooms and continues up to the staff section. He passes by the wing that holds Charlie and Vaggie’s rooms, as well as the one holding Husk and Niffty's rooms. He makes his way up another staircase at the end of a hall, and then passes by your room.
“My room is back theren”you laugh softly, pointing back towards your room.
“I know.” He smirks down at you, causing you to blush.
You open your mouth to speak but he cuts you off by speaking first.
“I look so good when I cook. I smell amazing. You had the best sleep of your life with your face buried in my stomach, and I should let you sleep with me in my room because it's probably comfortable.”
Your face goes completely red as you try to come up with a response. He opens the door to his room and locks it behind him.
“I had your schedule for tomorrow cleared.” He tosses you onto his bed, smirking as he pulls out sweatpants and a tank top that belong to you and tosses them on the bed beside you. He backs up sitting on a chair across the room as he smirks. “You love me. You love when I make demands, when I tell you what to do. Strip.”
You jump up, immediately pulling up your shirt quickly when he snaps. Your gaze immediately shoots to him, your full attention given to the man sitting before you.
“Slowly.”
Blushing, you slowly finish pulling off your shirt. You unbutton and slide off your pants, tossing them to the side. You pause for a moment, standing in your sparkly yellow lace bra and matching yellow lace underwear with a thick sparkly waistband that sits around your belly button.
“Take the bra off, then stop.”
You reach behind yourself, unhook it, and slowly take it off, letting it fall to the floor with the rest of the clothes. You look up at him, waiting for instructions. He stands, approaching you slowly.
“Stay. I'll be right back.” He retreats to the bathroom in his room. When he re-emerges, he is dressed in loose red and black pinstriped pajama pants tied loosely around his waist and no shirt. He sits back in his chair, looking at you for several minutes before humming softly.
“Put on the pants first, then the top.”
You blink for a moment before grabbing the sweatpants from his bed and slowly pulling them on, then doing the same with the tank top.
Alastor stands again, approaching you and smiles, offering out his hand to you. Silently, you take it, and he smiles even wider. Yanking you down onto the bed quickly, he pulls you close to him, settling down for the night. After several minutes, you speak up.
“What about touching your ears?”
The lights in his room go out and you hear a deep chuckle as he pulls you closer, both of you getting comfortable under the blankets he pulls up. You shiver, feeling him nip your ear softly before whispering to you.
“Your schedule for tomorrow was cleared for a reason, my little doe. You will get to touch my ears all you want, but I won't be able to control myself. My ears and tail are very… sensitive. Don't worry, you will get to hear me tell you what to do all day tomorrow, afterwards. For now, sleep.”
He hums a soft tune, running his fingers through your hair and you can't help but drift off to sleep, feeling warm and comfortable. Slowly, your eyes fall shut, dreams of tomorrow filling your head as Alastor continues to hum, thinking about how great tomorrow will be when he finally gets what he has wanted since meeting you. The last thing you hear as your consciousness finally gives into your dreams sends shivers of anticipation down your spine.
“I'll make sure you eat well tomorrow.”

Pairing: Paul Lahote x Swan Sister Reader
Word Count: 4.0k
TW: Possessiveness
Tumblr media
You and your sister, Bella, had always gotten along well even being so different. She was the shy twin who always stood behind you. You on the other hand always fought Bella’s battles because she needed it, that’s what sisters were for. The two of you weren’t identical, and your personalities could not have been more different. Yet, at the end of the day, she was the person you knew would always understand you. She was your best friend and confidant. So, when she proposed moving back in with Charlie you followed along with her.
Things changed when the two of you moved to Forks and not in a way you liked. She began distancing herself from you after she met Edward. Instead of coming home and gossiping about your respective days she started going to the Cullen’s house. She stopped telling you things. She became protective and oh so secretive over her boyfriend. You confided in Charlie more than you could ever expect. You hung out with Jessica and Angela more than you would’ve ever dreamed. Still, you looked after your sister. She was the shy one who fell hard and fast. For whatever reason you just couldn’t seem to trust Edward. When she finally let the two of you meet he was just off and you couldn’t seem to pinpoint what it was.
It wasn't until the departure of Edward Cullen, leaving Bella desolate and shattered, that the mysterious shroud enveloping your lives began to unravel at a rapid pace. As Bella struggled to navigate through the abyss of heartbreak, you tried your hardest to be the strength that she needed. But it often felt like you were failing her. Like nothing you could say would offset any of the heartbreak she was feeling. And you were angry. Angry at the stupid family that decided to vanish without a trace. For even though Edward seemed off he seemed like he truly was deeply in love with your sister.
Your only saving grace was your old friend Jacob. He found a way to bring your shattered twin back to the surface of the water she was struggling to swim in. The three of you spent so many nights together doing everything and nothing at the same time. Laughing till your faces were blue and finding the human connection she so desperately needed. You could never thank him enough for bringing back your sister you had lost for so many months.
But even that wasn’t enough for him to leave. When Jacob withdrew from both of your lives you became the sad twin. It was Bella who became angry like you were so many months prior. Bella forced you in the truck one afternoon claiming she had a bone to pick with the second boy who abandoned her in so many months. You had no desire to see the boy, but Bella demanded you come with her.
You watched as she pounded on the door of his home only to be met with nothing. You waited in the truck as Bella noticed Sam and his pack off to the side of Jacob’s home. Her footsteps treaded the path towards Sam and his pack, heart pounding with a mixture of apprehension and anticipation. It was only when you saw her physically push Sam, the leader of the tribe, did you bolt out of the car trying to catch your sister from doing anything too drastic.
"Bella, stop!" you cried out, your voice tinged with desperation as you rushed forward. Your heart was hammering desperately in your chest, a whirlwind of emotions swirling within you as you reached out towards Bella, hoping to stop the impending confrontation.
But it was too late. Bella's palm has already met one of the dark-haired boys cheeks with a sharp crack, the sound reverberating through the trees. You watch in dismay as the man’s expression darkened. His features contorted with fury, a primal growl rumbling in his chest that even startled you. The forest seemed to hold its breath as the world became silent at what the next move of the man could possibly be. You gulped feeling the tension thick in the air.
And then in the midst of the events that were unfolding you looked to the men in front of you looking at each of them one by one before your eyes finally met the one who had just been slapped. His gaze locked onto yours, a fleeting moment of connection amidst the tumult that surrounded you. In that instant, everything seemed to crystallize, the world narrowing down to just the two of you even with all the people surrounding you.
Timed seemed to slow to an utter crawl. The world around you faded into insignificance as your attention was locked in on the man. A sharp gasp came from you as you continued staring right at him. It was a feeling you had never experienced in this lifetime. Something you could never have expected. He too couldn’t seem to break his gaze away from yours. In that fleeting instant, everything seems to shift. The air crackled with anticipation, the forest holding its breath as the weight of the moment bears down upon you. It's as if the universe itself has paused, allowing you and Paul to exist in a suspended state of existence, isolated from the disorder that rages beyond the confines of your shared gaze.
As the boy who captured your heart and soul with just a single look staggered backwards, a whirlwind of emotions courses through his mind each feeling vying for dominance over the others. Anger, once burning bright within him, now dissipates like mist in the morning sun, leaving behind a hollow sense of bewilderment and wonder. His chest heaves with the effort of controlling the torrent of feelings threatening to overwhelm him. He had felt every single emotion. Saw every single emotion. You were her. You were his imprint. Only Sam had been so lucky to have found his person. And now he did. And he didn’t even know her name nor you his.
To your surprise you felt your feet moving forward as he dropped to his knees on the forest floor. Pauk was acutely aware of the weight of this moment. He had to wonder what you were feeling. You too were locked in on his own eyes, yet you could have no idea what was going on and how chaotic your seemingly normal life was about to get. But amidst the heaviness of the moment, there is something else—a glimmer of hope, a spark of possibility that ignites within him like a flame in the darkness. For in your eyes, he sees not just a reflection of his own turmoil, but also a flicker of understanding, a shared recognition of the bond that now binds the two of you together.
"What... what just happened?" Bella's voice wavers, her eyes wide with disbelief as she looks between you and the man she just slapped. But you have no answers to offer, you were just as confused as she was. While Bella's voice wavers with disbelief, her eyes dart between you and the surrounding men, searching for answers amidst the bewildering scene.
Embry, who had been standing nearby with Sam, catches your eye with a knowing smirk, a hint of understanding dancing in his gaze. He stepped forward, as if he's seen this scenario play out before. "Looks like we've got ourselves an imprint," Embry remarks, his voice tinged with amusement as he addresses Sam, who watches the unfolding scene with a composed yet cautious demeanor.
Sam nods in acknowledgment, his expression unreadable as he assesses the situation before him. His eyes shifted between you and Paul with a measured intensity, as if gauging the depth of the bond that now connects you.
Meanwhile, the boy you had originally came to see, Jacob, came sprinting out of the house that he had just ignored Bella from. His expression a mix of surprise and concern as he takes in the scene before him. His eyes narrow as they settle on Paul, a flicker of protectiveness crossing his features before he turns to you, his look softening with understanding in your utter confusion. Yet in all that was happening so fast you couldn’t seem to tear your eyes away from this man. He had captured your mind, body, and soul all within a single look.
"Y/N, are you okay?" Jacob asks, his voice gentle yet tinged with worry as he approaches, his footsteps echoing against the damp grass.
You finally tore your gaze away from Paul somehow, your heart racing as you meet Jacob's concerned gaze. Despite the frenzy that surrounds you, his presence offers a sense of comfort, a reminder of the unwavering support that has always been there for you, negating the two weeks he had decided to ignore you for.
"I don't know what happened," you admit, your voice barely above a whisper as you try to make sense of the whirlwind of emotions that flowed through you so unexpectedly. "But I feel... different."
Bella's eyes widen in disbelief, her mind racing to comprehend the incomprehensible. But amidst the uncertainty that envelops you all, one thing remains clear—the ties that bind you to Paul, are unbreakable, defying logic and reason with an undeniable force.
"Jacob," Sam's voice cuts through the silence, his tone firm yet tinged with a hint of urgency. "Take them to Emily's. We need to talk." He motions towards Paul who was still on his knees before you.
Jacob nods in acknowledgment, his gaze flickering between you, Paul, and Sam, a silent understanding passing between them. He moves forward, his hand reaching out to gently guide you away from Paul, his touch reassuring in the confusion that surrounds you.
"Come on, Y/N, Bella," Jacob murmurs softly, "Let's go."
As Jacob reaches out to guide you away from Paul, a low, guttural growl rumbles deep within Paul's chest just as it had earlier after Bella has slapped him. His possessiveness flaring in the face of Jacob's touch. His eyes narrow, a primal instinct driving him to protect what he now considers his own.
"Hands off my girl," Paul's voice is low, but the irritated edge to it is unmistakable as he stands to takes a step towards you. His eyes never left yours. The intensity of his declaration sends a shiver down your spine, his unwavering stare holding you in a trance.
But Sam, ever the voice of reason among the sea of emotions, steps forward with a measured stride. His expression unwavering as he addresses Paul with a firm yet understanding tone. “Paul, calm down," Sam's voice carries authority, tempered with a hint of empathy as he meets Paul's frustration head-on. "We need to talk, separately. She will be just fine with Jacob."
Paul's protest is immediate, his feelings for you overwhelmingly strong. "No, she's not going anywhere without me," he insists, his voice tinged with desperation as he takes a defiant step forward, his resolve unyielding.
But Sam's gaze holds steady, his alpha like authority asserting itself in the face of Paul's defiance. "Paul, stand down," he commands, his voice brooking no argument as he meets Paul's gaze with unwavering determination. Paul winces but gives into Sam’s demands, though the reluctance is evident in the tension that lingers in his frame. His eyes remain locked on you, a silent promise of protection and devotion burning brightly within their depths.
While Jacob leads you away from Paul you can't help but feel torn between the conflicting desires that rage within you. Part of you longs to stay by Paul's side, to bask in the warmth of his unwavering love. While another part recognizes the need for clarity and understanding in the sheer confusion that threatens to consume you. And as you and Bella follow Jacob through the dense undergrowth of the forest you can't shake the feeling of Paul's presence lingering at the edges of your consciousness, a constant reminder of the inexplicable bond that now defines your existence.
Jacob guides you and Bella through a trail in the forest, a heavy silence hangs in the air, punctuated only by the rustling of leaves and the distant calls of unseen creatures. Sensing the need to break the tension, Jacob takes a deep breath before breaking the uncomfortable silence. "Look, I need to tell you both something," Jacob begins, his voice cautious yet resolute. "But it's going to sound... well, it's going to sound crazy."
You and Bella exchange a puzzled glance, the weight of Jacob's words settling uneasily in the pit of your stomachs. You've both sensed that there's more to the Quileute tribe than meets the eye, but the truth remains shrouded in mystery.
Jacob takes a moment to gather his thoughts before coming out with it. "The thing is... we're not exactly... normal," he admits, his words halting as he struggles to find the right way to explain the inexplicable. "We're... werewolves."
The revelation hangs in the air like a heavy fog, enveloping you and Bella in a cloud of disbelief. For a moment, neither of you can find the words to respond, the enormity of Jacob's confession leaving you speechless. "Werewolves?" Bella's voice is barely above a whisper, her eyes wide with shock as she looks to Jacob for confirmation.
Jacob nods solemnly, his expression grave as he meets Bella's gaze. "Yes. And there's something else. Something called imprinting."
You nodded along, “That’s what the one guy just said. We’ve got ourselves an imprint? What is that?” You asked pressing him further.
Jacob smiled knowing that your life was going to change, hopefully for the better. "It's when a wolf finds their soulmate. Their other half. The one person they're meant to be with for the rest of their lives." Bella's brow furrows in confusion, her mind struggling to comprehend the magnitude of what Jacob is telling her. But you, on the other hand, feel a strange sense of recognition stir within you, a faint echo of the inexplicable connection you felt with Paul.
As Bella sighs with uncertainty, Jacob senses the weight of her confusion and seeks to provide clarity. "And... and what does that have to do with what happened back there?" Bella asks, her voice laden with hesitance as she gestures back in the direction of Paul and the pack.
Jacob's gaze flickers towards you, a silent acknowledgment passing between you as he prepares to reveal the truth. "It means that... Paul imprinted on you, Y/N," he explains gently, his eyes filled with compassion as he meets your bewildered gaze. "He's your soulmate."
“Paul.” You whispered his name out loud for the first time. Paul, your soulmate. Your heart skips a beat at the revelation, the words sinking in slowly as you struggle to comprehend the enormity of what Jacob is saying. Soulmates? It's a concept you never thought you'd entertain, let alone experience firsthand.
"Soulmate?" Bella's voice echoes your thoughts, her eyes widening in astonishment as she turns to you for confirmation.
You nod slowly, the reality of the situation beginning to sink in. "I... I don't understand it all," you murmur, your voice barely above a whisper as you grapple with the implications of Jacob's words as the three of you walked through the forest to what you assumed to be Emily’s place, whomever that was.
Jacob offers you a reassuring smile, his expression filled with understanding. "It's okay, Y/N. I know it's a lot to take in," he says softly, his tone gentle yet firm. "An imprint is... it's like finding your other half. Your perfect match. And for Paul, that's you."
Bella's eyes widen in realization, her mind racing to process the revelation. "So... he's bound to her? Like... forever?" she asks, her voice tinged with uncertainty as she seeks to grasp the intricacies of the imprinting process.
Jacob nods solemnly. "Yeah. It's a permanent bond," he explains, his tone heavy with the weight of the truth. "But it doesn't have to be romantic. It can be... it can be like a best friend too. Someone who's always there for you, no matter what."
The realization washes over you like a tidal wave, the enormity of the situation sinking in as you come to terms with the truth of Paul's imprint. It's a bond that transcends the boundaries of time and space, forging a connection between two souls that can never be broken.
And as you walked surrounded by the whispering of the trees and the steady presence of Jacob by your side, you find yourself beginning to accept the truth of your newfound destiny. The road ahead may be filled with uncertainty, but with the unwavering support of your sister and the friendship of Jacob, you know that you'll face whatever challenges may come your way head-on.

As you, Bella, and Jacob step into Emily's cozy kitchen, the aroma of freshly baked muffins envelops you, a comforting contrast to the whirlwind of emotions swirling within. Emily's warm smile greets Jacob, her eyes alight with joy as she rushes forward to embrace him.
"Jacob, it's been too long!" Emily exclaims, her voice filled with genuine affection as she pulls back to look at him.
Jacob returns her embrace, offering a sheepish grin. "I know, Em. It's good to see you," he replies warmly.
Emily's gaze then shifts to you and Bella, her smile widening as she takes in your presence. "And who do we have here?" she asks, her tone friendly and inviting.
Jacob gestures towards you and Bella. "Emily, this is Y/N and Bella Swan," he introduces, a sense of pride evident in his voice. "They're new to town, and we thought I'd bring them by to meet you." He spoke referencing the pack as a whole. It was intriguing watching him operate now that you knew why he up and disappeared on you those weeks ago.
Emily's eyes widen with recognition as she looks at Bella. "Ah, the Swan sisters! Charlie's girls. I’ve heard a lot about you two," she remarks with a knowing nod. Then her gaze shifts to Bella, and her expression changes to one of surprise. "And you're the vampire girl, aren't you?"
Your heart nearly stops at Emily's words, the revelation hitting you like a sudden jolt. Vampire girl? You exchange a bewildered glance with Bella, who looks equally taken aback. Edward was a vampire? What next… mermaids?
"What? Bella? Vampires?" you stammer, your cheeks flushing with embarrassment as you struggle to comprehend Emily's words.
Bella's face turns crimson, her embarrassment palpable as she shoots you an apologetic glance. Her eyes told you that she would explain it all later. "Emily, I'm so sorry," she begins, her voice tinged with mortification. "Y/N, this is... um... kind of a long story."
As the truth about vampires and the supernatural world of Forks begins to unfold, you can't help but feel overwhelmed by the enormity of it all. But amidst the confusion and embarrassment, there's a sense of shared understanding that together you'll navigate the challenges that lie ahead. As the conversation continues in Emily's kitchen, laughter and chatter filling the air, the sound of approaching footsteps draws your attention. Sam, Paul, and Embry enter the room, their expressions relaxed and jovial as they exchange banter with Jacob.
"Hey, look who decided to join the party!" Jacob teases, a playful grin spreading across his face as he greets his packmates.
Sam chuckles, his eyes crinkling with amusement. "Couldn't stay away, could we?" he retorts, a hint of mischief in his voice as he exchanges friendly jabs with Jacob.
Paul's gaze finds yours amidst the commotion, a soft smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Y/N," he says, his voice gentle yet earnest as he steps forward, his eyes meeting yours with a depth of emotion that leaves you breathless.
"Paul," you reply, your voice barely above a whisper as you meet his gaze, a rush of anticipation coursing through you at the prospect of speaking with him alone.
Sensing the unspoken tension between you and Paul, Jacob steps forward with a knowing smile. "I'll leave you two to get to know each other," he says, his tone light yet meaningful as he gives you a subtle nod of encouragement.
As Jacob and the others retreat away from the kitchen to give you and Paul some privacy, you find yourselves alone in the midst of Emily's bustling kitchen. The air crackles with anticipation as Paul takes a step closer, his eyes searching yours with an intensity that sets your heart racing. "Y/N, I wanted to talk to you," Paul begins, his voice soft yet filled with determination as he gathers his thoughts. "About what happened earlier. About us. If that’s okay with you."
You swallow hard, the weight of Paul's words hanging heavy in the air as you search for the right response. "Paul, I... I don't even know where to begin," you admit, your voice trembling with uncertainty as you struggle to find the words to express the whirlwind of emotions that threaten to overwhelm you completely.
But Paul reaches out, his hand finding yours with a gentle touch that sends a shiver down your spine. "We'll figure it out together, Y/N," he says, his voice filled with conviction. "Whatever happens, I'll always be here for you. I promise you that."
As you stand there, enveloped in the warmth of Paul's presence, a soft blush tinges your cheeks as you struggle to find the right words to express the swirl of emotions coursing through you. Your heart races with anticipation, your thoughts a jumble of uncertainty and longing. "This is all a lot," you murmur softly, your voice barely above a whisper as you meet his gaze with a shy smile. "But it's a good thing you're so... so handsome." You weren’t sure where that surge of confidence came from, maybe it was the bond. But even you couldn’t deny the sheer beauty of the man that stood before you. You feel a rush of exhilaration mixed with nervousness, unsure of how Paul will respond to your flirty compliment.
Paul's expression shifts, a mischievous twinkle dancing in his eyes as he leans in closer, his breath warm against your ear. "Is that your way of saying you think I'm cute, Y/N?" he teases, his voice low and husky.
You bite your lip, a playful glint in your eyes as you meet his gaze. "Maybe," you reply coyly, a hint of flirtatiousness creeping into your tone as you lean in closer to him. "You'll just have to stick around to find out."
As a smirk tugs at the corners of Paul's lips, his gaze intensifies, locking onto yours with a magnetic pull that leaves you breathless. You feel a surge of anticipation coursing through your veins as he leans in even closer, the air crackling with electricity between you.
"Oh, I intend to, pretty girl" Paul murmurs, his voice a low rumble that sends shivers ripping through your body. His words are filled with promise, his eyes sparkling with mischief as he closes the distance between you, his breath warm against your skin. “Don’t you worry about that.”
A soft gasp escapes your lips as Paul's hand gently cups your cheek, his touch sending waves of warmth cascading through you. Your heart pounds in your chest as his lips brush against yours in a tantalizing whisper, a feather-light caress that ignites a fire deep within your soul.
"You're so beautiful, Y/N Swan," Paul whispers against your lips, his voice filled with sincerity and admiration. "I can't help but be drawn to you. I’m forever yours pretty girl."
The sweetness of his words sends your heart soaring, a rush of euphoria washing over you as you lose yourself in the intoxicating embrace of his affection. In that moment, all doubts and fears melt away, leaving only the undeniable connection between you and Paul, a bond forged in the flames of desire and longing. And as you surrender to the irresistible pull of his embrace, you can't help but feel a sense of bliss wash over you. With Paul by your side, you know that the journey ahead will be filled with laughter, passion, and endless moments of pure, unadulterated love.

your purity is precious ! charlie mayhew.
Tumblr media
father charlie mayhew who just can’t keep his filthy hands off you during private bible study lessons.
you’re sat on his lap. you two are just that close, there’s nothing abnormal about this. “father, you—you know a lot about this stuff,” you say, his fingers trailing toward your poor cunt, all wet and puffy under your panties. practically begging to be touched. “y-you’re very smart, father.” just give in, what’s so hard about it?
but you can’t.
his other one squeezes and kneads your soft, shapely breasts, fitting ever so perfectly in his rough and calloused hand. “you know,” he sighs in your ear, bulge pushing up against your plush ass, “your father never mentioned how beautiful you were, did he?” you hesitantly shake your head as he hooks his finger onto your panties and pulls them to the side.
your lips part with a soft gasp as he drags his finger up your warmth, slickness spreading across your delicate parts.
he leaned in closer, lowering his voice even more. “have you given your innocence away yet?” his breath was hot on your ear, sending shivers down your spine.
the question catches you off guard, of course, you haven’t, that’d be disgusting. no man would ever look at—let alone marry a woman without her virginity, especially in your town.
“no, father, i—i’m waiting until marriage. i’m still pure,” you whisper.
he groans and softly pushes up against your ass. so pure, you are. you follow the word.
you’re clean.
“good girl, keep it that way. your purity is precious. remember that.” he says in your ear, breath still warm against your skin, making you softly grind down on his fingers.
“i will,” you repeat in your head, that saying. my purity is precious, my purity is precious, my purity is precious.
his thick middle finger circles your tight hole before slipping in slowly, you wince and bite your full lip, stifling a loud cry. he grins sadistically. a small amount of blood coats his finger, he runs his tongue over his lip in response.
“and you haven’t,” he pushes his finger in more, focusing on that spongy spot within, “touched yourself?” he felt a stirring in his pants, his thick cock straining against his slacks, begging to be let out.
you tell him you haven’t; it’s mostly true. though one time you got a bit carried away with your pillow.
his grin widened mischievously. "you mean to tell me that beautiful, untouched body of yours is... a virgin in every sense?" his hand on your breast slowly started to caress it again, his touch gentle yet so… perverse.
it’s like he was hungry.
“yes, f-father.” your legs trembled slightly as he dug deep inside of your warm, inviting hole, so soft and tight. the priests' voice grew husky as he spoke, "you know, my child... when i was your age, i couldn't keep my hands off myself. i'd touch myself every chance i got, in the shower, under the desk at school... sometimes even at church."
he speaks as if he doesn’t still touch himself every single night.
his finger curls inside you, and an involuntary whine escapes your lips. your clit felt all fuzzy, and your tummy tightened as you slowly began to move your hips back and forth on his finger, blood prickling on your lip from the pressure of your teeth.
“that’s it. riiight there, take it all, my child. make yourself feel good,” his voice completely shifted, so smooth and still so low.
he pulled out of you quickly, bringing his sticky fingers to his mouth and sucking them disgustingly. his eyes rolled back while he did, and you felt his fat cock throb through his pants as he tasted your sweet nectar, with a hint of a metallic taste. your virgin blood.
his focus slowly turned back to you, and he slipped his finger back in without a word, just groans and sighs filling the room. “my child, you—you are… the most precious thing,” your cunt tightens around his finger, telling him you were inching closer to release.
the feeling in your puffy, red clit was so overwhelming, heat reaching every part of your body in a matter of seconds. another hand comes and touches it, rubbing and pushing down on it as tears begin brimming your eyes while you cry loudly, legs shaking uncontrollably at this point.
your vision began to blur as you felt your tummy release the knot it’d been tightening since he’d started touching you. “oh, father! i can’t—i…” you went numb completely, thrashing as your sticky juices flowed out of your, now, used hole. your moans were obnoxiously loud, you’d let go all over your poor priest.
he didn’t stop there though, rubbing and bucking his hips against your soft ass until he gets what he’s been wanting for ages. he pushes his hips up against you one more time before whimpering softly and groaning, breathing warmly against you.
you both sat there for a minute, dazed and coming to your senses before he urged you to make yourself decent and ushered you out of his room, leaving you with familiar words.
“your purity is so precious, my child.”

can i have a headcanon for lucifer morningstar with elder sister! reader? I am just in desperate need for family stuff. Like elder sister! reader is nto weak and as powerful as lucifer (maybe a tiny bit stronger since th eboth of them are archangel).
Like elder sister!reader decided to follow her younger brother lucifer to hell by becoming a fallen angel too because she is very worried for him. (even knowing the punishment are brutal and harsh but she does not care) I would love if you make the dynamic between the two where reader is the more sterner, fiercer and scary one (like maybe she used to be a commander of an angel army before) and then lucifer is just a little guy who loves ducks (he can beat ass too lol) thanks for reading and i will appreciate a lot if you start writing my ideas! take care!
ELDER SISTER! READER X PLATONIC HAZBIN HOTEL
Prompt: You are the elder sister of Lucifer Morningstar who couldn’t help but fall down for your young brother.
Warning:: Episode 8 mentions
Tumblr media
Your brother, Lucifer Morningstar fell because of his “differences” being called a “trouble maker.” And simply having different ideas. You were different from your former younger brother as you were stern and serious at all times. But when Lucifer went to court and got sent to his own creation. Your eyes widen with fear and shocked.
You didn’t want to question things at the moment. But as hours, days, weeks, months, and then a few years pass. You couldn’t help but had enough as you started to question Sera and her rules. You didn’t believe in this type of punishment your younger brother had. But you guessed it was enough to the point you fell too.
YEARS LATER
You live with Lucifer as he was happy to see you were alive and well. Immediately when you came by his palace with your wings spout out that looked like his. He was ecstatic. He jumped into your arms with silly smile. He always loved being in your arms as he was scared how you would think of him when he fell. But you?! He was confused.
He asked you as you told him what happened and Lucifer felt his heart melt seeing his older sister care for him that much. And he started to cry while you sigh with a smile not surprised at this. You gave him a napkin which he gladly took letting you in his home which is now your home.
After he calmed down he told you how he has a daughter but an ex wife. You raised a brow as he explains his relationship with Lilith. You guess it must brought him to depression as his eye were having bags. So you cheered him up with a few fireworks which made his eyes light up as if he was a child again.
You became the 2nd ruler of hell as you were the commander back in heaven. But not any more.
Lucifer tried to tell you how he tried to give “his” people freedom and they ruined it, but you didn’t care as you put a hand out signaling him to stop. Lucifer listened looking down.
“I do not care. They shall not use freedom this way. But don’t worry young brother.” You patted his shoulder. “I won’t be harsh.”
And indeed you weren’t harsh but you were strict around some of pentagram city. Sinners understand the assignment immediately and there were less crimes around.
HEADCANNONS:
Tumblr media
You know that meme where a person and standing there calmly and the other person is going crazy and bouncing around?
Yeah that’s you and Lucifer…cause he was being hyper fixated about his ducks to you as you just stood there and smile softly.
That soft mother like smile of yours made Lucifer feel like home as he explains more to you.
Hell, when he would miss you he would make a small opera where you had joined him in hell and how you would fix him dinner or breakfast when he came home. Just like a normal human family.
If you were getting messed with, Lucifer is full on demon mode as you held him back by his white coat with a sigh. He knows you can protect yourself but damn. He sure can throw a mean punch at assholes.
You guys do hobbies together, like he would make ducks and you would do [hobby]. It was always a calm day
I headcannon Lucifer to follow behind you like a lost duckling while you walk around the palace doing your job. You’re taller than him obviously cause you are powerful. It’s an adorable sight though.
When Charlie heard that she had an aunt, and you were in hell too! She was amazed with stars in her eyes as she wanted to meet you immediately.
And so you did. You showed up at the hotel with an angelic smile as Alastor narrowed his eyes at you but still kept a smile. You hug Charlie as she hugged you back while jumping. Charlie starts to rant about her dreams and it made you realized how much she is Lucifer’s daughter as you smile down at her.
But then she tells you how the angels are going to attack the hotel and that made you sigh as you held a dark gaze.
You have just met your niece and no one shall harm her and her dreams.
It was basically giving, “I have just met Charlie and I would kill someone for her!”😭
So when the battle started unnoticed by you. Lucifer notified you about what’s happening as your eyes widen quickly with a flash. A red mist makes Lucifer coughs covering his nose. He had forgotten how quick you were at times.
As you fly down with heavy wings, Adam and lute over a force field. You let out a breath happy to see that the hotel was fine. Until Adam broke it as your eyes widen. You swoop in killing the Exorcists left and right.
As you kill Lucifer pops up seeing Adam tormenting his daughter, bringing out his protectiveness. He saved Charlie only for Adam to get up and berate them. You fly down gracefully holding a cold look.
“Woah, didn’t know sweet tits had fallen like her loser bro-”
Before he could say anything, a heavenly glowing light beams through him as Adam gasps on the floor holding his chest. Everything went silent as people were shocked at the one shot.
“That’s my sister, AND your aunt!” Lucifer says elbowing Charlie gently with a smug smile as Charlie is jaw dropped at how you can one shot someone.

*stares at phone after watching all of Hazbin Hotel* I gotta try something.
Accidentally In Love
Prologue
Tumblr media
Alastor X Exorcist Reader
Warning ⚠
⚠ Fem Reader, mention of cutting wings, mention of abuse, Angel being Angel. ⚠
Tumblr media
You had missed your sister Vaggie.
Being the closest to her out of all of your sisters, of course you would be a target.
Adam had used you as a punching bag whenever he could, just to feel better about her betrayal.
Two years went by, you had dealt with all the abuse you could before leaving down to Hell yourself. Feeling broken, you cut off your own wings, tossing them away into a random dumpster.
It was extermination day and you saw all of the chaos you and your sisters had caused. Now you can see why she left.
"Heaven is overrated.", you laughed, wiping away your tears.
"Now that's how you wear a smile!"
Gasping, you went on the defensive, eyes darting everywhere until you spotted a demon in red.
"None of that dear, I am not here to fight."
The demon remained in the shadows but you could see his smile. His eyes glowing red radio dials.
"I'd like to offer shelter and protection."
"What do you want.", you tightened your hold on your spear.
Yes you were in Hell, but even in Heaven there were those who had other intentions behind a smile.
"Nothing too serious.", the demon said. "Just to have you by my side until I say the word for you to leave."
"All the details.", you demanded and pointed your weapon at them. "I'm not stupid."
"And yet here you are standing in Hell."
"By choice!", you scowled.
"Oh? How interesting."
You let out a yelp when something dragged you into the shadows towards the demon. Using your angelic weapon, you stabbed at it and it released you, but it was too late.
You were already in the darkness with them.
"Apologies but I'd like to talk about this elsewhere.", the demon held out their hand to you. "Come and we'll discuss the details."
Looking up at the demon, you saw that he had a strained smile.
"I think you need me more than you let on.", you said but placed your hand on his. "I think I deserve to get more with what you're asking of me."
From then on you stayed with the Radio Demon, Alastor.
Currently he was off on business but when spotting you he had to get closer to the edge. You being someone who might be of use to him in his current predicament.
You pointed out that you didn't need to be around him all the time and put down that you would travel around Hell to find someone.
"And this someone is?"
"None of your business. Your deal is with me."
After a year of searching you found her.
She was with the Princess of Hell and was ok, she even grew her hair out.
You went with the deer demon to the hotel and stayed silent for the most part. Not used to being around so many living demons unless it was to get rid of them.
Alastor had put on a show of being all powerful while you just waited to talk to your sister. After all of the deer's shenanigans, you finally got the time to walk up to her.
"Vaggie?", you spoke up.
She looked surprised and then she frowned.
"What are you doing here!?", she whispered and dragged you away from the others.
After making sure no one else was around, she sighed and looked back to you.
"Explain. NOW."
"I left Heaven.", you stated.
"Well no shit. You're here.", she placed her hands on her hips. "I'm asking why. What happened? Why are you here? With the Radio Demon of all sinners. I'm not going back."
"I'm not here to take you back.", you quickly put a stop to her concerns. "I'm here to stay with you. I-. Heaven..", you looked away and hugged yourself. "You know I was the quiet one.."
Vaggie looked at you worried and placed a hand on your shoulder.
"What did they do to you?", she asked in a hushed tone.
"Adam..our sisters.", you couldn't look her in the eye and stared down at your feet. "Look. I cut my wings to stay here and find you. It wasn't right what they did and I'm not going back to that place.", you said firmly. "It wasn't worth you."
Your sister sighed and pulled you into a hug.
"Let's catch up later.", she said and held your hand, taking you back towards the others. "I want to introduce you to someone special."
"Is it the Princess? I already met her when coming in.", you said.
"I want to introduce you as my family and well..", she stopped just before going into the lobby, looking out and staring at the blonde. "I haven't told her..who-what I am. Please don't mention anything until I have the courage to tell her."
"Vaggie..", you squeezed her hand. "If you really want a good relationship with her then tell her. Sooner than later."
"I know.", she sighed. "I just need a little more time."
You backed more into the shadows after spotting Alastor looking around the room.
"Vaggie. I have to tell you something.", you said and got your sibling's attention. "I made a deal with Alastor, and before you yell. No. Not for my soul.", you said quickly. "I'm just acting like a bodyguard for a bit but he knows what I am."
"What!", she whisper shouted.
You patted her shoulders to calm her down. "I'll make sure he doesn't say a thing."
She looked over to the red dressed demon with a glare before accepting. "Fine. But you better be careful, I don't trust anyone other than Charlie."
"I will.", you smiled. "Now, officially introduce me to the Princess!"
With a roll of her eyes, she smiled back and dragged you over to the heir of Hell.
"Charlie! I have someone you need to meet."
The Princess turned and spotted you both.
"Oh, hello again.", she waved. "I've already met them Vaggie, what do you mean?", she asked.
"Not entirely.", she stood in the middle and let go of your hand. "Charlie, this is my sister.", she gestured to you.
Charlie gasped and held her face in surprise, eyes sparkling wide.
Vaggie said your name and then held the Princess close. "This is my girlfriend."
It was your turn to gasp in surprise.
"You hooked up with the Princess!?", you covered your mouth after noticing how loud you said that. "Sorry, I didn't mean that in a bad way. I mean that in total excitement. I'm happy for you and glad that you're happy."
The spider demon, that was named Angel Dust, got closer to look you up and down.
"Is there something wrong?", you questioned.
"You've got bigger boobs."
You blushed and hid your chest.
"Angel!", your sister whacked the spider.
"Ow! What!? Its true!"
Alastor walked over and also hit the spider. "You don't make such comments on a lady's body."
"I'm just saying they've got a nice rack, they got the betta genes!", the spider said before getting another hit from both of them again. "Ow!"
"Ignore him.", your sister turned you away and guided you towards the stairs. "Let's go find you a room."
You were happy to have found your sister.
Of course Alastor still needed to be kept quiet and you'd have to make sure to go over your deal with him.
Maybe you could persuade him somehow.

This went off the rails a bit but yeah.

DEVIL (+18)
Summary: You are a demonic creature, capable of doing whatever you please, whenever you wish. Your goal on Earth is to terrorize as many souls as possible. Until, in a small community, you find the perfect victim for your mischievous games: Father Charlie Mayhew.
Author's Note: Honestly, I’m not sure if this story will have more than one chapter, but it will contain adult content and inappropriate language. Violence may also appear. Frankly, I just needed to write something about this character portrayed by Nicholas Alexander Chavez. The character and others, apart from Y/N, are not my creation. They belong to the Grotesquerie (2024) universe created by Ryan Murphy. To anyone reading this story, I hope you enjoy it.

ONE
How tedious human life is. Not to offend anyone, but you were already tired of all the petty, complicated, and disjointed problems humans have. Not doing what they want, fearing consequences, and not always seeking to take advantage of others makes humans seem so weak. Humans need automobiles to move around, they have no special powers, they feel guilty for the slightest act, and when they sin, they believe a priest can purify their wrongdoings.
"Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. At least that's what the movies say I should say when I enter a confessional. Unless you'd prefer something more modern, like, 'Father, I really messed up. I committed an affront to good morals. Blah blah blah…'" You enter Father Charlie Mayhew's confessional, waiting for his response. You can hear the muffled chuckle he lets out at your casual way of speaking.
"It doesn't seem to me that you are truly repentant. Taking advantage of the informality with which you are speaking to me, may I ask what brings you here?" For a human, he has a voice that, in its more serious and deep tone, can be charming; it's easy to understand why he became a priest. With a voice like that, he could easily persuade you to be a devoted daughter of God, even if you were, in truth, a demon.
“Let’s say it was a call of nature. In truth, I’ve felt impure ever since I witnessed something terrible.” You say, trying to sound as human as possible, feeling as if your skin were burning from being inside the church. Just kidding; in reality, demons can be anywhere, even in religious places.
"What is it, my dear faithful of the Lord, that you witnessed?" Father Mayhew speaks with a certain nonchalance, as if he's almost sure he knows your answer. You try to catch a glimpse of him through the confessional booth’s small openings. He seems like the very embodiment of sin, perfectly crafted for thirsty thoughts.
"Father, I witnessed a delightful scene. It was a priest known for his youthful appearance and modern style, masturbating while thinking about the beautiful nun he had recently met. In fact, there was another moment that I witnessed. The moment when this same priest let the nun touch him in a sinful way. Oh, this priest's mind could only hope that these private moments would continue." You provoke him, subtly revealing that you know of his most intimate sins. The priest immediately steps out of his booth and opens the door to yours. His expression is furious, while you wear your most mischievous smile. Your attire catches him off guard, certainly. You’re dressed in a nun's habit, but entirely unlike the usual. Yours is red—the color of blood—with black lace details. It is the perfect blend of religion and sin, a nun’s habit styled like lingerie.
"What are you?" the priest asks, not in fear, but with a steady gaze fixed on you. You rise and slowly walk toward him, your steps deliberate, as he retreats. You can see his eyes searching for answers, trying to comprehend what you are.
"I am merely a concerned devotee, worried about who is managing this church, of course. Father, it shouldn’t be me reminding you that sin is wrong. But I think you already know it’s wrong—you just can’t stop. If the wounds on your back tell me anything, it’s that you enjoy punishing yourself for being a naughty boy. Let’s just say I’m your newest form of penance." You speak as you circle around Father Mayhew, who watches you with a gaze of fascination. In truth, you had peeked into the mortal priest’s sinful mind, discovering exactly how to become an irresistible vision for him.
"Why are you tormenting me?" Father Mayhew keeps his eyes fixed on you as you walk through the church, surveying what is supposed to be sacred ground. It’s remarkable, entering the so-called house of God, where sins lurk behind the angelic façade, just as Father Mayhew hides his dark thoughts beneath his cassock. You smile as your fingers glide over the candles, feeling the warmth of their flames between your fingertips.
"Me? Tormenting you? I’m simply fascinated by that devilishly handsome face of yours and the way you blend love for religion with the lust locked away inside you. Sister Megan must have had quite the time running her little fingers over you. Honestly, you, Father, are trouble, and I want to help you." You speak, captivated by the lust in his eyes, even as he remains partly afraid that you might be a punishment from the devil himself. You move closer, touching his cassock, tracing your finger over the places where he is wounded, where he hurt himself.
"More…" he whispers, closing his eyes as he feels your touch. He begins to moan softly from the pain you’re inflicting. Your fingers tighten their grip on the bruises on his back as he groans heavily. You bring your lips closer to the back of his neck, placing a few kisses there.
"Father, Father, Father. You're visibly excited in the middle of the church. What would the Bishop say about this? Or your faithful and devoted followers, who trust that their priest will be the purest of men?" You speak softly against the back of his neck, feeling him shiver. He turns to look at you, eyes thirsty for the pleasure of the flesh.
"It doesn’t matter, not really. 1 John 1:9, 'If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' God, in His glory, will understand that in the face of temptation, I could not resist my sinful nature, and for that, I have failed in His eyes." Father Mayhew speaks, his eyes lingering on every detail of your face, but especially your lips. In his depraved mind, he’s already imagining. Imagining how his cock would fit perfectly between your lips, or how your moans must be as delicious as the tone of your voice. He lets his imagination of touching you, tasting you take over and lightly places his fingers under your lips, massaging them.
"Father, you are a perfect creature, but you are trapped beneath this mask of a devout religious man. I promise I will return here to unlock your true potential. Until then, remain under the flame of lust. Oh, and keep recording those workout videos; you have no idea how many souls your face and body corrupt. Now, to seal our first encounter together, repeat after me: I, Father Charlie Mayhew, accept your demonic presence to torment me for as long as necessary, committing myself to serve you." You say, gazing deeply into his eyes, as he seems lost in you. It takes him a moment to repeat your words, his eyes lingering on your attire, contemplating the implications of becoming entangled with you.
"Was that all?" He asks after repeating your words, his tone low as if he’s embarrassed. "When will I see you again?" There’s a note of desperation in Father Mayhew's question, as he watches you, trying to memorize every detail. You smile, thinking that he probably wants to remember you so he can indulge in pleasure later.
"You'll see me when the time is right. In the meantime, keep being a naughty boy," you say, caressing his face. Then, with a single finger, you touch his lips, slicing them open. He lets out a soft moan as blood begins to seep from his mouth. "Now it's time for my triumphant exit. Goodbye, Father," you say, leaning in to kiss him, as if to draw his very soul through his lips. The taste of his blood lingers in your mouth, sealing the recent pact between you. You lick his lips and then disappear. Like an illusion, you are no longer there.

“you okay?” matt asked as he saw charlotte slump into her chair.
“yeah just my brothers being ridiculous.” she sighed putting her phone into her back pocket.
matt took the seat next to her and handed her a vodka infused drink, she took it immediately and downed almost half of it.
“woah slow down there cowgirl, we have work tomorrow.” he took the glass from her hands and placed it on the bench in front of them.
“it’s just my brothers are so up in my business it’s so fucking annoying.” charlie groaned rubbing her face with her hands.
“sorry that’s my fault, it was my idea to go matching..” matt shrugged shyly.
she let out a chuckle and grabbed his hand and placed in her lap, lacing their fingers together. “trust me im so happy we went matching, we look so cute!”
that bought a slight blush to matt’s cheeks and it honestly made the butterflies in his stomach stir.
from the moment charlie started working at the rangers, matt had a crush on her. but she always knew that she was off limits considering her brothers played for the enemy team.
charlie was the most flirtatious person ever, so that didn’t really help matt’s problem. but he couldn’t tell if she was really flirting with him or that’s just how she was.
their hands still intertwined she pulled him into the dance floor where quick and his wife danced in their matching costumes.
matt hesitantly put his hands up above her waist but she grabbed his hands dragging them down to he waist. a blush broke out on charlies face, she was so glad it was dark on the dance floor so he couldn’t see her.
charlie would never admit she did have a crush on matt, because it would never work. she couldn’t date someone who played on the team she worked for.
work was for strictly work, not messing around with a 6’9 giant who was gorgeous.
charlie leaned into his figure her hands now wrapped his waist too.
many people were definitely staring, but they couldn’t care.
by the end of the night charlie was a little bit more then tipsy but not drunk. it was 1am and matt was talking with jacob, all char wanted right now was for matt to take her home, in a non sexual way.
she sat in a seat scrolling through her phone and pulled up her moms contact.
-
mamma ❤️❤️
hi mummy are u awake
yes char
you okay baby girl?
yes, i just think I like matt
aww Im happy, you two look good together
no mom this is bad! we work together and I think the boys would all kill me, especially jack he would honestly hate me
they could never hate you charlie
at the end of the day it comes down to you and what your heart wants sweetie, no one else has a say in what you feel. and if your brothers are the ones that have something to say, I will knock some sense into them.
thank you mummy, im going to go home now, love you goodnight💝

-
“hey you ready to go?” matt asked as charlie quickly hid her phone. he let out a chuckle, “what was that?”
“what was what? nothing…. nothing. come on let’s go!” she grabbed his hand and they walked outside.
he started walking and she stood their confused, turning around her spoke, “what?”
“did you order an Uber?” she questioned pulling her brows together.
“no silly, i didn’t drink. my car is down the road.” he laughed and signalled for her to follow.
charlie quickly followed him and caught up.
once the two made it to the car, charlie immediately leaned back into the seat and let her eyes close.
alcohol always made her tired, no matter what.
matt stared at the girl who was now dead asleep as he pulled up to a red light.
he drove to charlies apartment without even thinking about, he pulled up out the front and she woke up instantly as they stopped.
“oh yay home.” she slurred, obviously the nap did not help sober her up.
he laughed and got out the car to help her upstairs. once they made it into her apartment he poured her a glass of water and grabbed her some pain killers while she got changed.
matt walked into her room to see charlie in a oversized devils shirt and she definitely just had underwear on underneath.
he placed the two things on the side table and tucked her into bed. “night charlie.”
“matt…” she whispered, with her eyes closed.
“yes?”
“can you stay please?” she pouted now opening her eyes.
a smile broke out on his face. “i don’t know if i can if your wearing that top…” he laughed.
“i’ll take it off!” she almost screamed and begin to pull up her top but he pulled it down before it could go any further.
“im just joking char of course i’ll stay.” he laughed. he looked down at his clothing, “is it okay if i sleep in my boxers?” he asked cautiously.
“im in a g string matt, yes.” she laughed.
he pulled off his clothes and jumped into bed next to her, she immediately pulled him close to her and laid her head upon his chest.
charlotte hughes was going to be the death of matthew rempe.

Lucifer x GN adopted child reader
A/n: still have writers block. Trying to move and do school! Sorry it’s taking long! But I’m also going through some stress and emotions too and couldn’t write- but to heal me, I have made some Lucifer parent headcannons because he is the father I never had😔😔
-Platonic
-He adopted you out of depression, and being lonely. Not seeing his daughter for so long, and his wife(wives) really broke his heart. And since he can’t have children due to his lack of woman, he decided to adopt! Where you come in!
-When he saw your adorable little face in one of the foster home rooms, he knew you were perfect. You were young, not old enough to know who he was since Lucifer/Satan wasn’t out in public all the time, or at all. So while the other kids that were older cowered in fear, you were curious and un afraid, something that Lucifer loved about you.
-He can cook. Good. Expect him to make you home cooked meals all the time, so homemade dinosaur nuggets, aren’t you lucky? He’ll also help you learn how to cook, family bonding time! He has so many pictures of you two cooking together. He doesn’t mind the mess, he’s literally Satan, just a snap of his fingers and everything is clean!
-He definitely gives you rubber ducks as gifts almost everyday. He’ll make you personal ducks for you, a character, friend, yourself, anything! Of course, he’d never test any of the rubber ducks with abilities on you. He’ll give you those once he’s 100% sure they’re safe. Expect him to get or make you duck costumes or clothes. He’ll order some matching duck pajamas for the two of you to wear on movie nights, both of you watched DreamWorks “migration” so many times, but it’s your favorite movie, you both watch it together at least once a week.
-he’s not big on punishments. The farthest he’ll go is put you in time out. He has a stool for you in the corner of his office(with duck prints of course) and makes you sit there until you learned your lesson. He’s never hit you, or punish you physically, nor would he hurt you mentally, he loves you to much to do that.
-He would help you accomplish your dreams. He wasn’t able to accomplish his, but he can help you. He wants you to be free, to be as curious as you want, to let you learn. He wants you to be happy. He’ll give you everything he didn’t get. and, he’ll make sure you are on the right path to your life, and that you have everything you need to accomplish your goals and dreams. He’ll do make sure every obstacle is solved for you, but will also let you try to get through it on your own.
-He will never let heaven know you exist. He doesn’t want you to be targeted but them, especially exorcists. If your a sinner child, he’ll protect you with his life in his castles he’ll put you in a hidden room with him, and to keep you entertained he’ll play with toys with you, watch tv, sing to you, or just talk and tell you his past dreams. If your hellborn, then he’ll be less panicked about the extermination. But he wouldn’t let you outside, or near any of the doors and windows during that time.
-Lucifer would be very nervous to tell Charlie about you. He doesn’t want her to think he replaced her l, he just needs someone to take care of and protect that wouldn’t leave him. The day you met Charlie was the day Charlie had called him over to talk to him about getting them into heaven. And he thought it would be a “great” time to meet your older sister.
-You were Nervous, but more excited than your father. When Charlie saw you, she was overjoyed and knelt down on say hi, she was so kind and sweet to you. You were a little kid! She couldn’t be mean (if she was). She asked her father who you were and when she found out you were her adopted sister, she was both excited and heartbroken. She was upset. Not at you, her father. He was just starting another family being her back…? She would have loved to help raise you, play with you. But she can’t change the past, so she might as well make the most of your appearance now.
-After meeting Charlie, Lucifer brought you to her hotel more often after they felt with all the extermination stuff and rebuilt it. He’d leave you with Charlie for a weekend every now and then so you two could bond. You two have sleep overs all the time. Plus Vaggie. Vaggie likes getting involved, she wants to get to know you more and have someone from Charlie’s family like her more. You three have little “girls days” together, even jf alastor joins from time to time
-Speaking of Alastor, neither Charlie and Lucifer let you go near him alone. He’s too dangerous. Charlie will let you go near him, speak to him and play with him only if she is with you. Lucifer will not let you go near him at all. He tried to talk Charlie out of letting you see him, but Charlie doesn’t want to start any tension. Lucifer fears you may be taken away from him or hurt by Alastor. Charlie clearly likes Alastor more than him, and Lucifer doesn’t want it to happen again, so your interactions around Alastor are very limited here Lucifer is around.
-But he is a pretty great father otherwise. He wants to treat you right, and be there for you even if he couldn’t be there for Charlie.

The warm scent of blueberry muffins filled Emily’s kitchen mingling with the faint tang of sea air drifting in through the open window. You were slouched in one of the chairs at her table with your cheek resting in your palm as you watched her move about the kitchen. The quiet hum of her voice as she talked about Sam and the pack was comforting, but it was hard to focus. Your stomach rolled again. That new unease building in the back of your mind.
“You’re quieter than usual,” Emily commented. Her voice cutting through the fog of your thoughts. She glanced at you over her shoulder, her sharp eyes softening when they landed on your face. “Are you feeling okay?”
You forced a smile, shrugging like it was nothing. “Just tired, I guess. It’s been a stressful few weeks, you know? All the patrols, Jacob imprinting on… that situation. It’s a lot.” You tried brushing her off.
Emily turned back to her muffins, humming as she pulled them from the oven and set them on the counter. “That’s true. It’s been hard on everyone.” She didn’t say anything else for a moment, but you could feel her watching you out of the corner of her eye. “Are you sure that’s all it is?” she asked gently not wanting to push too hard.
Your smile faltered. “Of course. What else would it be?”
Emily walked over and sat across from you. Her expression calm but concerned. “Well, you’ve been tired a lot lately. And you’ve barely eaten today. You won’t even touch my muffins like you always do. I also saw you push your plate away last week at dinner too.” She tilted her head, her tone as light as she could make it. “And I saw you make a face when I started the coffee earlier. You used to love coffee… I haven’t seen you drink a cup in weeks now.”
You stiffened slightly, trying to brush her off with a laugh. “I’m just… off, that’s all. It’s probably just stress or maybe a stomach bug. Nothing to worry about.” That unease grew in the pit of your stomach though.
She didn’t drop it. “Maybe,” she said slowly. Her dark eyes studying you. “But… have you thought it might be something else?”
You blinked at her, frowning. “Something else? Like what?”
She hesitated before she reached across the table to rest her hand on yours. “I don’t want to assume anything, but… you and Paul are together all the time. Could there be… another reason why you’re feeling this way?”
Her words hit you like a freight train and you immediately shook your head. Your voice pitching higher than you intended. “No. Absolutely not. There’s no way, Emily. We’re careful! I mean, mostly. But… no. That’s impossible.”
Emily gave you a patient look but didn’t pull her hand away. “I know you’re careful,” she said gently. “But accidents happen. When was the last time you had your period?” She asked the dreaded question… when was it?
The question made your heart lurch, and you froze. “I…” shit, you didn’t know, “I don’t know,” you stammered. “It’s been… I mean, I’m not great at keeping track, but…” Your voice trailed off as your mind began counting backward. The realization hitting you like a bucket of ice water on a freezing winter day. Your chest tightened. Your mouth suddenly ran dry.
Emily leaned forward slightly. Her voice soft but steady. “How long has it been?”
You swallowed hard while staring at her as the truth sank in. “I.... A month? Maybe more?” You guessed as you kept counting further back. No, it was more than a month now. It’d been nearly six weeks.
Emilys expression didn’t change though there was a hint of sympathy in her eyes. “It might not be what you think,” she said carefully. “But maybe… maybe you should take a test. Just to be sure.”
Your stomach flipped at the thought, and you instinctively shook your head again. “I can’t. What if it’s positive? What am I supposed to do? What’s Paul going to say? What about the pack or my parents? Shit! My parents Em!” Your voice cracked, panic bubbling up as the possibility became more real. Pregnant. You couldn’t possibly be pregnant. No, it was just stress. You’d been so stressed lately. Periods were often late when stress was abundant. Yeah, just stress.
Emily squeezed your hand. Her calm presence grounding you. “If it’s positive, you’ll figure it out like you always do. You’re not alone in this, okay? You have me. You have Paul. And you have the while pack. Whatever happens, we’ll all be here for you.” Her voice was low and soothing as it always was. Her reassurance should have been comforting, but your thoughts were spiraling. The only thing you could focus on was the quiet truth settling into the back of your mind. You might really be pregnant. She stood with you still trying to process what was likely true.
Emily slipped out the door after giving you a reassuring smile. Her keys jingling as she walked to the front door. “I’ll be back in twenty minutes,” she’d said. “And don’t even think about panicking while I’m gone. Just breathe. I’m going to go buy one from the pharmacy. It won’t be a big deal if someone sees me buying one.” Easier said than done.
You sat stiffly on the edge of the couch with your knee bouncing restlessly as the minutes ticked by. Emily was right. If anyone saw her buying a pregnancy test, they wouldn’t think twice about it. She and Sam were married, in their twenties, and settled. But you? At nineteen, unmarried, and still figuring out your life, the very idea of people finding out sent a wave of nausea through you.
When Emily returned, she came through the door with the same calm efficiency as before. She held a small paper bag like it contained something perfectly ordinary. She set it down on the table while brushing the rain from her hair as she gave you a steady look. “Alright,” she said. Her tone light but firm. “No one saw me. Not that it would’ve mattered. But I figured you’d want to hear that.”
You groaned, burying your face in your hands. “Thank God. I’d die right here if word got back to my mom. Or the whole reservation.” You peeked through your fingers, your voice dropping to a mutter. “This place is like a fishbowl.”
Emily laughed softly and slid the bag toward you. “Relax. It’s done. Now, the next part is up to you.”
You stared at the bag. Your palms suddenly very disgustingly sweaty. Your heart hammered as you reached out and pulled the slim box from inside, the pink lettering glaring up at you like a warning. “I feel like I’m in one of those cheesy after-school specials,” you mumbled, your voice shaky as you tried to make light of the situation.
Emily gave your shoulder a comforting squeeze. “You’re not. You’re just figuring out what’s next. Go on. I’ll wait here.” With a long breath you stood and made your way to the bathroom, the box clutched tightly in your hands. The next few minutes felt like an eternity. You sat on the edge of the bathtub staring at the little plastic stick on the counter, its blank screen taunting you.
When your phone buzzed with the timer you’d set, your stomach flipped. You stood slowly, your hands trembling as you picked up the test. Two pink lines.
Positive.
Your knees felt weak as you gripped the counter for support as a tidal wave of emotions crashed over you. A strange mix of fear, joy, and uncertainty swirled in your chest, leaving you utterly breathless. You stared at the test for a long moment trying to process what it meant. Your hand drifted to your abdomen as you gulped.
When you finally emerged from the bathroom, Emily was waiting on the couch. Her face was soft as ever with understanding. She looked up as you stepped into the room, the test still clutched in your hand. “Well?” she asked gently. Her brown eyes searching your face for any sign of what it said.
You held up the test. Your mouth dry. “I guess I’m pregnant,” you said with your voice unsteady. Then in a weak attempt to lighten the mood you added with a shaky laugh, “Stealing Bella’s thunder, huh?” Bella’s pregnancy had been the talk of the pack ever since the group found out what she was carrying. Then the vampire human baby decided to make its appearance after only 28 days. The thought sent a shiver down your spine as you thought of what carrying a werewolf baby would entail.
Emily blinked, then burst into laughter. Her head tilting back as she shook her head. “Oh, you’ve got to stop hanging out with Paul so much. You’re picking up his sense of humor.” She grinned as she gave your arm a reassuring squeeze.
Despite your spinning thoughts her laughter pulled a smile from you. She wrapped you in a warm, steady hug. “It’s going to be okay,” she murmured, her voice firm. “Paul loves you so much. More than I ever thought he’d be capable of. You’re not doing this alone.” You clung to her words like a lifeline as tears brimmed in your eyes. You weren’t sad… no, not at all. You were simply overwhelmed as this had not been in your plans. You were going to get married to Paul in a few years and maybe have some kid’s years after that. Not now. But life had a funny way of throwing you completely off. First, being imprinted to a damned werewolf. Now this.
You sat at the kitchen table with the pregnancy test still in your hand. Emily had made you a cup of tea. The warm mug sitting untouched in front of you as your thoughts spiraled. You’d stared at the little pink lines so long now that they were practically burned into your vision. A constant reminder of the new, terrifying reality that had just taken shape.
Emily leaned against the counter, watching you with a mixture of patience and quiet concern. “What’s going on in that head of yours?” she asked gently.
You let out a shaky breath, placing the test down on the table so gently as if it might explode. “Everything,” you said. Your voice barely above a whisper. “I mean… Paul and I are nineteen. This wasn’t exactly in the plan. What if he’s not ready for this? What if he feels… trapped?” The thought made your stomach churn. You couldn’t shake the image of his face falling when you told him.
Emily frowned, stepping closer and taking the chair across from you. “Yes, you both are young, but you know he’s devoted to you. He’d run through fire for you without thinking twice. That’s the bond. It’s unshakable.”
You nodded slowly, but her reassurance only soothed one layer of your anxiety. “But what about my parents?” you asked. Your voice cracking yet again. “If they find out, they’ll never let me hear the end of it. They’ll say I’m ruining my life. That we’re not ready. And Paul’s parents… What if they think I’m irresponsible or… God forbid, trying to trap him or something?”
Emily shook her head firmly. “No one who knows you would think that. You and Paul have been through so much already and you’ve come out stronger every time. His parents will see that. His parents love you. And as for your parents…” She gave you a small, wry smile. “They’ll probably be shocked at first. Maybe even upset. But they’ll come around. They always do.”
You laughed bitterly, rubbing your temples. “It’s not just them. It’s the pack, too. What are they going to think? There’s so much going on right now. Jacob imprinting on a half-vampire baby, the Cullen drama, all of it. This is the worst time for this to happen. What if they see it as a distraction? What if they resent me for pulling Paul’s attention away?”
Emily reached out grabbing for your hand. “First of all, no one in that pack would resent you. You know how they are. They’re family, even if they don’t always show it the right way. And second, you’re not pulling Paul’s attention away. If anything, this will give him more to fight for. Plus, I think they all like you more than Paul anyway.” She added with a mischievous grin.
Your chest tightened at her words. A mix of hope and fear swirling inside you. “But what if I’m not enough?” you whispered. “What if I can’t handle this? What if I ruin everything?”
Emily’s grip on your hand tightened. Her scarred fingers warm and steady. “You’re more than enough,” she said firmly. “You’re strong and you have so many people who love and adore you. You’re not doing this alone. Paul’s going to be over the moon, you’ll see. And the pack? They’ll probably throw a barbecue to celebrate.”
Despite the storm of emotions swirling in your chest that last comment drew a weak laugh from you. “Yeah, and Embry will probably make a joke about Paul being the first one to ‘start a litter,’” you muttered.
Emily grinned. “Probably. But you’ve got to admit, they’d all step up to make sure you and that baby are safe. It’s what they do.”
You took a shaky sip of tea. The warmth grounding you for a moment. Deep down you knew Emily was right. But the thought of telling Paul, and everyone else, still felt like standing on the edge of a cliff. “Guess I’ll find out soon enough,” you murmured while staring down at your tea. “I just hope you’re right.”
Emily smiled softly, giving your hand one last squeeze. “I’m always right,” she teased. Her voice light. “Now, let’s figure out how you’re going to tell Paul. You’ve got this.”
Just as you were going to ask her how in the hell you’d drop this bomb on him the front door opened loudly, followed by the familiar sound of Paul’s laugh, low and warm, rolling through the house. “We’re back!” Quil called out, clearly in a good mood. Jared muttered something about food and within seconds all three of them were in the kitchen rummaging around for snacks.
You sat frozen at the kitchen table gripping your mug of now-cold tea. Your eyes were glued to the wall like it might have answers to the mess of thoughts tangling in your head. Emily shot you a look that practically screamed, you better handle this soon, before helping the hungry wolves to whatever snack she deemed acceptable.
“Hey,” Paul’s voice broke through the fog. You looked up just as he walked over to you. His usual easy grin faltering slightly as he studied your face. He crouched in front of you, his warm hands resting on your knees. “You okay? You’ve got that look.”
“What look?” you asked. Your voice faltering slightly as you tried to sound normal.
“The one that says you’re either about to cry or punch someone.” He tilted his head. His grin returning. “Hopefully not me.”
You forced a laugh but it came out weak and shaky. “I’m fine. Just tired. You know, the usual.”
Paul narrowed his eyes, clearly unconvinced. His sharp instincts both as a wolf and your imprint meant there was no hiding anything from him for long. “Uh-huh. Sure babe. You’re totally not being weird. Not at all.” He teased lightly.
“I am not!” you shot back too quickly. His brows shot up.
“Okay…” He dragged the word out, standing and looking toward the kitchen where Quil and Jared were now arguing over a loaf of bread. Paul glanced back at you. His concern deepening. “Wanna take a walk? Fresh air might feel good.”
You hesitated. Your pulse roaring in your ears. You couldn’t do this here. Not with Jared and Quil’s supernatural hearing and Emily’s knowing looks. “Yeah,” you muttered finally, standing abruptly. “Let’s go.”
Paul smiled softly and walked behind you as you made your way out of the house. He grabbed his jacket and followed you out the door. The crisp air hit your skin, grounding you slightly as you led him down the gravel path toward the edge of the forest. Paul stayed quiet. His hands stuffed in his pockets as he matched your pace. He didn’t push but you could feel his eyes on you. His quiet presence making your nerves churn even more.
When you finally stopped, he turned to face you. His expression soft but cautious. “Alright then,” he said, leaning back against a tree. His arms crossing over his chest. “What’s going on? You’ve been acting… off since we got back. And don’t tell me it’s nothing because I know you better than that love.”
You fidgeted. Your fingers twisting the hem of your sweater as you avoided his gaze. Your stomach was in knots and the words felt stuck in your throat. “Paul, I… I need to tell you something,” you started. Your voice barely above a whisper.
“Okay,” he said, his tone steady but laced with worry. “Whatever it is, just say it.”
You opened your mouth, but nothing came out. Instead, you made a strange almost choking sound which made his eyes widen. “Are you okay? It’s okay. Whatever it is, it’s okay.” he said while stepping closer.
“I’m fine!” you said too quickly yet again. Your voice pitching higher than you wanted. “It’s just… this is… ugh!” You threw your hands up while pacing a few steps before spinning back to face him. “You’re going to freak out.”
Paul blinked slowly. His brows knitting together as a hint of a smile tugged at his lips. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you this worked up before babe. What’s going on?” You just had to tell him. Just do it.
You stopped pacing. Your chest tightening as you blurted out, “I’m pregnant.”
The silence that followed was deafening. Paul’s face went blank, his arms dropping to his sides as he stared at you. You felt the blood drain from your face. The panic rising as his lack of reaction stretched on. “Paul?” you whispered. Your voice trembling. “Say something. Please, say something.”
He blinked, his lips parting slightly. “You’re serious?” he asked in a silky soft voice like he was trying to make sure he’d heard you right.
You nodded. Your throat tight. “Yeah. I just found out today. I’m sorry. I didn’t want it to be like this. I wasn’t even sure how I should tell you, because I know we’re young, and everything’s crazy right now, and…”
“Shh,” he said cutting you off gently. He stepped forward completely closing the distance between you. His hands finding your arms as he looked down at you. Those chocolate brown eyes searching yours. “You’re pregnant? We’re… having a baby? Our baby?”
Your heart pounded as you nodded again with tears welling up in your eyes. “Yeah.”
A slow grin spread across his face. It started small but grew until it lit up his whole expression. He laughed softly almost in disbelief and suddenly pulled you into his arms. He held you so tightly you could barely breathe. “You’re serious?” he asked again. His voice muffled against your hair. “We’re having a baby?”
You let out a watery laugh. Your hands clutching at his jacket. “Yeah. We’re having a baby.” You said softly.
Paul pulled back just enough to look at you. His eyes shining with something you couldn’t quite name. “You’re amazing,” he said, his voice thick with emotion. “I mean it. I can’t even…” He broke off, shaking his head like he couldn’t find the words. “This is crazy, but it’s… it’s amazing. I’m so happy right now,” He grinned before pulling you in for a kiss, “We’re having a baby!”
Tears spilled down your cheeks as a laugh bubbled out of you. “You’re not scared? Or mad?”
“Of course, I’m scared,” he admitted. His hands moving to cradle your face. “But I’m not mad. Never. You’re my world, and now… now we’re building something together. How could I be anything but happy about that?”
You sniffled, leaning into his touch. “Well, I’m glad one of us is confident. Because I was ready to fake my death and disappear into the woods.”
Paul laughed before kissing your forehead softly. “Not a chance. You’re stuck with me, babe. And this kid? They’re going to have the best damn parents in the world.” His hand ran over your abdomen gently.
A small, tentative smile tugged at your lips as you rested your forehead against his neck. “I hope you’re ready to break the news to the pack, though. I can already hear Embry’s jokes.”
Paul’s grin only widened. A glimmer of excitement sparking in his eyes. “We’ve got to tell them.”
Your stomach dropped, and you blinked at him. “Right now?”
“Yes, right now,” he said. His voice filled with conviction. “Why wouldn’t we? This is huge! It’s amazing! They’re going to be so happy for us.”
“Paul,” you said slowly while trying to reel him back in. “We just found out. Don’t you think we should… I don’t know, let it sink in first? Maybe figure out how we’re going to explain this before we say anything?”
But Paul shook his head. His hands framing your face with a tenderness that made your chest ache. “There’s nothing to explain, babe. This is good news. They’re family. They’ll support us no matter what. And if anyone has anything negative to say…” His voice dropped slightly. A spark of protectiveness flaring in his tone. “They’ll have to deal with me. But they’re going to be so excited love. So damn excited.”
You hesitated. Your doubts lingering. “It’s not that simple, Paul. What if they think it’s irresponsible? Or too soon?”
He took your hands, his gaze steady and unwavering. “Look, I know things are messy right now. The timing might not be perfect. But then again, when is it ever? What matters is that this is ours. You, me, and this baby. We’re going to be okay because we have each other.” His voice softened and the corners of his lips tugged into a smile. “I want to celebrate that with the people who care the most about us.”
His sincerity broke through your defenses, and you sighed, nodding reluctantly. “You’re sure?”
“I’ve never been so sure of anything,” he said. His smile warm and full of pride. “You’re carrying our baby. How could I not want to shout it from the rooftops?”
A small laugh slipped out despite yourself. You shook your head at his antics. “Fine. But if this goes sideways, you’re the one dealing with the fallout.”
Paul chuckled, pulling you close and pressing a kiss to your forehead. “Deal. Now, let’s go tell them.”
As he led you back toward the house, his excitement practically radiating off him, you still felt a twinge of nerves. But the way he held your hand, so steady and unshakable, made you believe that somehow everything would work out.
The moment you and Paul stepped back into the house. Emily’s eyes flicked to the two of you. Her lips curled into the smallest, most knowing smile. Her gaze lingered on Paul who was still vibrating with energy like he could barely contain himself. She exhaled softly, relief washing over her face.
“He knows, doesn’t he?” she asked you, her voice low enough that only you and Paul could hear.
“Of course, I know,” Paul cut in with his grin so wide it was practically smug. “You really think she could keep something like this from me?” His arm wrapped protectively around your waist. His hand warm against your side as he glanced down at you. “She tried, though. Gotta give her credit.”
Emily’s smile grew. She stepped closer to squeeze your hand. “I’m glad you told him,” she said simply. Her calm steadiness grounded you in a way nothing else could.
Jared and Quil, however, were still oblivious. Quil frowned at Paul. His sandwich frozen halfway to his mouth. “What’s up with you? You look like you just hit the jackpot.”
“Yeah,” Jared added, leaning back against the counter. “You’ve got that weird, smug thing going on. Like you know something we don’t.”
Paul smirked, his fingers flexing slightly on your waist. “Maybe I do.”
Quil rolled his eyes. “You gonna share with the class, or…?”
Paul leaned against the back of the couch looking entirely too pleased with himself. “Let’s wait until everyone’s here,” he said, glancing toward the door. “Don’t wanna repeat myself.”
Jared groaned. “Dude, seriously? You’re such a…”
“Later,” Paul interrupted. His grin growing wider. Jared muttered something under his breath, but Paul didn’t seem to care. His attention stayed on you. His thumb brushing absently along your hip.
By the time Sam and the rest of the pack arrived the room was buzzing with conversation. The pack had settled in, tired but loud as usual, filling the space with their usual chaos. You could feel your nerves creeping back but Paul’s steady presence beside you kept them at bay.
Once the noise quieted enough for him to speak, Paul cleared his throat. All eyes turned toward him. The sudden intensity of his expression silencing even Quil’s usual chatter.
Emily, sipping her tea, shot Paul a look. Silently daring him to be subtle. But Paul being Paul had no plans for subtlety. He straightened while crossing his arms over his chest as he cleared his throat. “Me and Y/N… we’re not just us anymore. We’re adding one.”
The room went silent. All eyes turning toward him. Jared frowned. “What does that even mean?”
Quil looked at you both, confused. “Wait. Did you get a dog? Please tell me it’s a dog.”
Paul smirked, clearly reveling in the suspense. “Nope. Not a dog.”
Embry tilted his head, his brows furrowed. “A cat? Fish? What?”
Paul chuckled, dragging it out just a little longer. “Think bigger.”
Quil’s eyes narrowed and then he gasped. His mouth dropping open. “Oh my God! You’re moving?! Are you leaving the rez?”
Paul groaned before dragging a hand down his face. “No! Not moving, not a pet, not a damn secret stash of food.” He glanced at you. His grin softening slightly and nodded like it was your moment to take over.
And you couldn’t help it. With all their clueless guesses and Paul’s smug antics a laugh bubbled out of you, warm and uncontrollable. Everyone froze, watching you with the most curious eyes and through your laughter, you managed to blurt, “We’re having a baby!”
The room went completely still for a beat, Jared’s apple frozen mid-air as his jaw dropped. Quil looked between you and Paul. His face blank before he finally sputtered, “Wait… like an actual baby?” Even Sam looked a little shell shocked at that news.
“Yes, Quil,” Paul said dryly though his grin betrayed his pride. “An actual baby. Our baby.”
Jared blinked rapidly then burst out laughing, slapping the counter. “Holy shit. You’re serious? Paul Lahote’s gonna be a dad?”
Quil let out a strangled laugh while running a hand through his hair. “Wow. This poor kid’s gonna have your temper, huh? Better hope they get your patience.” He looked at you with a knowing grin.
Sam, who had entered the room halfway through the chaos, finally stepped forward. His expression calm but full of warmth. “That’s great news,” he said simply while clapping Paul on the shoulder before looking at you. “You’re both going to be amazing parents.”
The pack didn’t hold back after that. Quil and Jared immediately started throwing out ridiculous suggestions for baby names while Embry vowed to make the baby a tiny wolf plushie as a first gift. The teasing was relentless, but it was full of love. It was clear that they were genuinely happy for you both. Your earlier nerves vanishing in an instant at their exuberance.
Hours later when the house had quieted and everyone had left, you and Paul found yourselves alone in the dimly lit living room. You curled up against his side. Your head resting on his chest as his arm draped securely around you.
“You know,” you murmured, smiling faintly, “your announcement was terrible.”
Paul laughed. The sound rumbling through his chest. “Terrible? That was brilliant.”
“You had everyone thinking we got a dog,” you teased, tilting your head to look up at him. “I think Quil’s still processing.”
Paul smirked, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “Hey, I had to keep them guessing. Besides, you’re the one who cracked under pressure.”
You rolled your eyes but the warmth in his gaze softened your retort. His hand moved to your stomach, resting there gently as he whispered, “We’re really doing this, huh?”
“Yeah,” you said softly. Your voice steady. “We are.”
He pressed a kiss to your temple. His voice low and full of quiet conviction. “It’s gonna be perfect. You, me, and our little one. We’ve got this.”
Paul’s lips brushed against yours, slow and deliberate, grounding you for a fleeting moment. His hand, warm and steady on your stomach, reminded you of the little life you’d just announced to the pack. But the moment his forehead rested against yours the weight of what was coming next crept back in.
Your parents. His parents.
You pulled back slightly, your fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt as your heart pounded. “Paul,” you murmured, your voice trembling. “How are we going to tell them? My mom is going to flip, and not in a good way. And your mom…”
“Hey,” Paul interrupted softly, his thumb brushing along your jaw. “Look at me.”
You hesitated but the steady warmth in his eyes drew you in. His grin was softer now, tempered with something deeper. “We’ll tell them the same way we told the pack, together. And if your mom flips, I’ll handle it. I’ll handle all of it. You don’t have to worry about a thing.”
“I don’t know if you’ve met my mom,” you whispered. Your voice wavering as you tried to find humor in the situation. “She’s going to think this is reckless. She’ll probably yell. A lot.”
Paul’s grin widened, and he tipped your chin up with his knuckle before pressing a kiss to your forehead. “Then let her yell. I’ll stand there and take it because, at the end of the day, none of that matters. What matters is us and this baby.”
You swallowed hard trying to keep your emotions from bubbling over. “But what if it’s too much? What if they think we’re too young, or not ready, or…”
Paul’s grip on you tightened slightly. His voice cutting through your spiral. “Then I’ll marry you tomorrow,” he said. His tone firm but laced with tenderness. “If that’s what it takes to make them see how serious I am, I’ll do it. Hell, I’ll do it tonight if you want.”
Your breath caught as you stared at him, wide-eyed. “You’re not serious.”
“I’m completely serious,” he said, his gaze unwavering. “I love you. I love this baby. And I don’t care what anyone else thinks. You’re my family now. You’ve always been my family and nothing, not your mom, not mine, not anyone, is going to change that.”
The conviction in his voice broke something loose in your chest. The fear and doubt unraveling as his words sank in. You let out a shaky laugh with tears pricking at your eyes. “You can’t just solve everything by offering to marry me, you know.”
Paul smirked, brushing a tear from your cheek with his thumb. “Maybe not, but it’s a pretty damn good start, isn’t it?”
You laughed again, softer this time, and leaned into him, letting his steady warmth anchor you. “We’ll figure it out,” you murmured more to yourself than him.
“We already are,” he said, his voice low and sure. “One step at a time. And I’m not going anywhere, no matter what. You know that love.”
As his arms tightened around you, you felt it, the certainty he carried, the unwavering belief that you could face anything together. It didn’t erase all your fears, but it made them feel a little smaller, a little more manageable.
And for now, and forever that would be enough.

Heart Before God
Tumblr media
Father Charlie Mayhew x Reader
Summary: In the sanctuary of faith, love becomes the greatest test.
Tumblr media
You arrived at the church in early spring, cloaked not only in your habit but in the determination to recommit yourself to your faith.
A new beginning.
A place to serve, to teach, to cleanse your soul of distractions. You hadn’t known that Father Charlie Mayhew would be here too.
He wasn’t what you expected.
No man of the cloth should be so quietly magnetic, so breathtaking in his silences, in his gaze, in the way he spoke scripture as though he had written it himself.
You tried to ignore the flutter in your stomach, each time his hand brushed yours when passing the offertory plate or his shoulder grazed yours in the hallway.
You told yourself it would pass. That you were a woman of God, destined to take your vows. But Charlie made it hard.
He wasn’t doing it on purpose… at first.
But then came the evening you walked by his room on your way to evening prayers and saw him, barefoot, freshly showered, towel slung around his waist, his door just slightly ajar. You could just make out the outline of his... then his eyes locked with yours.
You froze.
He didn’t move to close the door. He only offered a slight smirk and then turned his back to you, muscles shifting beneath his skin like a whispered temptation.
Your face burned for hours after. Days. Nights.
It became a pattern, he would always leave that door open just a little too long, always be just out of reach, like a test.
Was it a game? A test? Or did he feel it too?
You thought you might explode from the ache inside you.
One evening, the temptation became unbearable.
You didn’t go to his room.
Instead, you went to the sanctuary, fell to your knees beneath the great wooden crucifix, and prayed.
Tears streamed down your cheeks as you whispered confessions into the flickering candlelight.
"Take it away," you begged, palms pressed together. "Take this desire from me. I love him, Lord, and I know I shouldn’t. But I do. I do."
That was how Reverend Mother found you. You hadn’t heard her approach.
"Child," she said gently. "What troubles your heart so deeply?"
You couldn’t lie. Not here. Not now.
"I can’t take my vows," you said quietly.
She stiffened. "Why not?"
You took a breath. The words clawed at your throat.
"Because I love a man more than I love God."
Her face hardened with offence. "Who? Who is this man who dares to challenge the place of the Lord in your heart?"
You shook your head. "I cannot say."
"You will," she insisted.
But you refused. No matter what she did, or what she said, you refused to give up his name.
And so she left you there, with tears staining your cheeks and your heart heavy in your chest.
Later that night, you returned to your room, certain that your time in the church was ending.
You had betrayed your calling. You had betrayed God.
You didn’t expect to find Charlie waiting outside your door.
“I heard you,” he said.
You looked away. "Then you know."
He stepped closer. “It was never a game to me. I tried to be strong. But I watched you pray for strength when I should’ve fallen to my knees beside you."
Your lip trembled. “Why didn’t you?”
"Because I was afraid. Of what it meant. Of what I’d have to give up. But if loving you is a sin, then I’ll bear it. I’ll take it all.”
He took your hands in his. “Come away with me. We can leave this place. We can marry. I want to be yours, publicly, truly, with no more hiding.”
Your breath caught in your throat, your mind was black yet full of ideas.
“Say yes,” he whispered. “Let’s be free.”
"Yes." Through tears and smiles, you said yes.
Weeks later, beneath a sky awash with early summer light, you stood before Charlie once more, this time in a garden, not a chapel.
Vows exchanged not for God, but for one another.
He kissed you like a man reborn. With hands trembling, he held your face, lips brushing yours with reverence before deepening the kiss, full of promise and redemption.
You were free.
Not of faith, but of fear. Of suppression. Of silence.
And now, you were his as he was yours.

Rumination
Ruminate
(v.) to think deeply about something
After Edward left her, Bella Swan fell apart. Desperate to try and save his eldest daughter, Charlie brings his youngest daughter to Forks to see if she can bring her sister out of her depression.
Now, y/n must try to help her sister find her way back to the light while also trying to navigate her Junior year of high school in the odd town of Forks.

Now playing: Long Way From Home by The Lumineers
Chapter One: Forks, Washington
Moving from Jacksonville, Florida, to the rainiest place in the continental U.S. wasn't an easy adjustment.
Seeing your sister act like the walking dead was even more trying.
All of it was because of that boy, who left her when things got hard. Mom only thought of "young love" and said "a little heartbreak builds character!"
Phil thought Edward was an ass, but that Bella was being a little dramatic about her first heartbreak.
Charlie and I shared a similar sentiment: Edward Cullen better not come back to Forks. If he does, I'll kill him.
I'd get away with it, too. Charlie would shut down the investigation because he'd be glad the boy was gone and wouldn't hurt his daughter any more.
I'd hurt him, especially but not limited to the fact that I wasn't quite sold about Bella falling down the stairs after she ran off. I don't think Edward pushed her, per se, but I don't think they told us the entire truth. Call it a gut feeling, or intuition, or whatever. I don't trust him or his family, aside from the good doctor. He's always seemed the most normal, from what I've heard.
---
"Bella," I call, knocking on the door to her room. It was quit still, and I was waiting impatiently for her to answer. We had to go to school before we were late and got another day of detention.
"Bella!" I shout, knocking on the door again. I hear some rustling and watch as the knob turns, only to find my sister with her pajamas on, her hair a mess, and looking like she had been through a hurricane.
She blinked owlishly at me, almost like she was deciphering who I was.
I sighed through my nose, trying to be sympathetic to her. I guided her to the bathroom and made her brush her teeth while I untangled her hair. In an attempt to keep it from getting ratty again, I braided it back tightly and wrapped put oils on the ends to try and keep it from frizzing up.
"Sorry," she told me, staring blankly at the mirror. All the anger in my chest deflated, and for a second, I felt as hollowed out as she looked.
     Hollow, empty, devoid of soul.
     That's how she looked.
Anger ignited in my chest again, but not at her. At her shitty ex-boyfriend who left her in the woods because he was a coward and couldn't break up with her properly.
"Don't worry about it," I told Bella, "I'll get Charlie to write a note or something. I guess the driveway was extra icy this morning."
---
The school day passed without much happening.
Bella's friend Mike tried to get me to pass something on to her, but I couldn't hear what he said before Jessica pulled him away without a glance at me.
I thought she was stuck up, but she wasn't a bad person.
Lunch was subpar again, the cafeteria food being lukewarm at best and cold in the middle of the mashed potatoes.
"I wonder if Charlie could threaten them into making the food better," I wondered aloud, poking at the food on my plate.
Bella remained frozen in time, staring at the seat beside me as if she was waiting for someone to appear there.
     I sighed, shaking my head.
I hummed to myself as I continued to poke and prod at my food u til the bell rang to get back to class.
---
     A few days pass.
     Nothing changes.
Bella's still depressed and hardly living in the real world. She wakes up screaming from night terrors and Charlie's started to sleep in the couch so he doesn't have to get up from his bed anymore.
I've started to develop insomnia, I think.
I don't sleep until the early hours of the morning, since that's usually when Bella stays asleep, too.
I'm awake from six thirty in the morning until two in the morning.
My routine consists of waking up, getting dressed and ready for school, then getting Bella up and dressing her. It's about forty minutes allotted to each of us, and then an extra ten to get Bella's lunch ready and packed.
I go to school with her, go about my monotonous but peaceful day, eat a silent lunch with my sister, finish my day, and go back home.
When I'm home, I work on anything I didn't finish already. Sometimes I go in for work at the 24/7 diner at the corner of Wheatgrass and 74th, working the night shifts and getting home in time for Bella to stay asleep. I make my lunch from the food I got to take home from the Roy's Diner, I take a scalding hot shower, and I pass out for the four hours before I have to wake up again.
---
Angela asked me how Bella was.
She seemed like the only one that truly cared about my sister.
Jessica was sour because she was ignored. Mike only wanted in her pants and was stringing Jessica along. And Eric was nice, but really only cared about the news paper and Angela.
"Is she getting any better?" Angela asked me, sitting down beside me at the table I was reading at.
"Not really." I replied, looking up at her for a minute. "Charlie's about to send her back to Jacksonville."
"Oh," Angela said, looking sad at the news. "Is there anything I can do for her? I try to invite her out, but she never shows."
I shrugged, "Not much to do. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make her drink."
Angela nodded, her lips thinning for a moment before she got back up.
She patted my shoulder before she left, and I immersed myself back into my reading.
---
Working the night shift at Roy's was never boring. We got loads of interesting people here. Charlie called the diner "a drunk's dream." Sure, it was a little sleazy and a lot of greasy food, but it wasn't horrible to be in. If you ignored the obnoxious 70s disco decor.
A duo of two men were sat in my section, both of them looking like hell.
"Welcome to Roy's, I’m y/n. What can I get started for you?" I asked, my peppy customer service voice grating on my own nerves so late at night.
They both had tanned skin in shades of bronze, and long, dark hair. One had it pulled up in braids down his back, the other's hair loose.
"A Pepsi, please," the first man said, and he looked to the other boy, "Jared, what do you want?"
     Jared ordered a strawberry milkshake.
"Be right back!" I told them, spinning on my heel and going to get their drinks.
"How old do you think those guys in your section are?" Chelsea asked as I filled up the drinks. She was staring at the two I had just spoken to, and I shrugged.
"Dunno, don't really care." I said, "They look grown enough, I guess."
"Grown enough?" She parroted, laughing, "They all have to be at least twenty!"
      Again, I just shrugged.
"Ugh, no fun." Chelsea said, rolling her eyes and disappearing into the back to go gossip with the cooks.
"Here are those drinks," I said, setting them down before each of the boys. "Anything to eat?"
"I want two number twos with lettuce, tomatoes, unions, and pickles, please, and a large fry." Jared told me, and I wrote it all down quickly. Two double patty burgers and a large fry was a lot to get down, but boys had large stomachs, I guess.
Sam spoke next, ordering, "A number three with tomatoes and lettuce only, with a number four with everything and a large fry, please."
Spicy chicken sandwich with everything on it and a pulled pork sandwich, I wrote, then said, "Be right back, then."
I handled my other tables until the food was ready, and I had to ask Kass to help me carry it all. When I set the food down, in front of them, they both thanked me and started eating. I grabbed their cups to refill their drinks, and when I was back to the table, most of their food was already gone.
"You two sure can put food away, wow," I said, setting the drinks down again. Jared had ordered another milkshake, and a water. Sam still got the Pepsi.
Sam smiled, looking weary but better. Color had returned to his face, and his eyes looked brighter.
"We're growing boys," Jared joked, and I smiled.
When they left, after ordering a slice of pie, I got a nice tip and a doodled wolf on the check.
---
Bella went out with Jessica to see a movie, I think. I wasn't paying a lot of attention when she said it, I had a mountain of homework from physics and not nearly enough time to do all of it.
Charlie found Bella's wallet and told me to go give it to her, so I went to Port Angeles to find her.
I saw Jessica first, and she was watching in mute horror as Bella spoke to some strange man on a motorcycle.
"Bella!" I yelled, people glancing my way as I stormed up to her to snag her by her arm and drag her away.
For a moment, she looked hopeful, like she was expecting to see someone else.
"Oh my god, you're stupid!" I yelled, dragging her back to my car. "Do you not think about anything anymore? He could have kidnapped you! He could have done worse!"
"I just-" she caught herself, flinching, "I thought I knew him."
"Good lord," I said, swearing at her for her recklessness, "I thought Charlie would have told you about stranger danger, but I guess not! Maybe it's time for a refresh!"
Jessica trailed behind us as I berated Bella and lectured her over the dangers of strangers and dark alleyways and motorcycles.
I folded my sister into the passenger seat of my car, ordering Jessica in the back seat.
"But, uh, what about Bella's car..?" Jessica asked, staring at me.
"I'll get it tomorrow. I don't trust Bella not to do something else stupid with it now." I huffed, reaching over to buckle Bella's seatbelt and peeling out of the parking lot.
I dropped Jessica home safely and pulled into the driveway, marching back inside.
"Your daughter has lost all her sense!" I told Charlie, "Dad, you need to tell her about stranger danger again before she gets herself kidnapped!"
"Y/n, now wait a minute-" he started, glancing at the door as my sister came stalking in behind me.
"Bella, you wanna tell me what your sister is talking about?" Charlie asked, and I huffed as she just sighed.
She explained and got a stern talking to, but I wasn't satisfied.
I started going everywhere with her, after that.
When we weren't in classes, I was attached to her hip. Hell, I even started sleeping in her room with her.
     She still kicks.
But the nightmares become less frequent when we have sleepovers every night.
I make her take care of herself by doing it for her, forcing her to brush her teeth and wash her face as I do her hair in the mornings and at night, packing a healthy lunch for her, and forcing her to keep up with her studies.
It's exhausting, but it's better than staying up until I cant anymore, and it's slowly getting me my sister back.
And then Jacob comes back into the picture
He and Bella are fixing up some old bikes. I have no interest in them, so I sit with them and listen as they talk.
Sometimes I draw some still life pictures of them, sitting together and working.
     Sometimes I sleep.
Sometimes I do my homework like a good student.
Slowly, I started to trust Jacob with my sister. I started picking up more daytime shifts at Roy's, and I started to relax.
The nightmares still happen, but they've gone down to about twice a week now.
Sometimes she only wakes up crying, others it's the screaming again.
     But progress is progress.
---
"Y/n, I sat a group of three in your section. Booth in the far corner, babe." Makayla told me as I passed the host stand.
"Thanks, Mak," I said, hurrying to drop off my drinks to some travelers before going to my new table.
Ryan comes barreling my way to drop some food off, and I spin around him to avoid knocking into him and his tray of food. I get to the booth in the back, seeing some familiar faces.
"Hey guys," I smile, recognizing two of my favorite customers, "I haven't seen you two in a minute, how've you been?"
Sam, who I learned later from Charlie, had been the one to find Bella after she was dumped in the woods by Edward. I didn't care if he knew who I was or not, not really, because I knew who he was. I couldn't do much for him, but showing my gratitude for saving my sister through the Family and Friend's discount was enough for me.
"So busy," Jared complains, pointing an accusing finger at Sam, "He's had me doing chores for days and makes me take more if I don't do my homework! He's like my mom now!"
Sam rolls his eyes as I laugh, reaching out to flick Jared in the forehead. The two of them have been coming to
"You're working with me, I'm responsible for you. So sad for you." Sam says dryly, and I shake my head at their antics.
"Strawberry shake and Pepsi?" I ask them, my eyes tuning towards their new friend.
He looks rough, almost like Bella did. His long hair is pulled back in a hastily done bun, and his eyes are sharp and attentive. He looks at me oddly, his brows slightly drawn together and his eyes squinting slightly.
"What can I get for you?" I ask him, an odd feeling rising in my chest as I meet his eyes.
He's quiet for a moment before he takes a deep breath and orders a water.
I nod, taking down his drink order and turning towards the kitchen.
"Ooh, your friends brought someone new!" Chelsea crooned, coming to drape her arms over my shoulders as she watches me fill up the two cups in my hands. I roll my eyes.
"Chels, why are you always back here when you're supposed to be doing your work?" I ask, dragging her towards the milkshake machine as I fill up Jared's strawberry shake.
"I'm doing my side work! I got cut early." She says, smacking her gum in my ear. I cringe, reaching back to push her face away from mine.
"Love that for you, girl, but get your smacking away from my ears, please." I told her, hearing her laugh as I add a cherry to the milkshake and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. She walks off to go finish cutting her lemons and I put all three drinks on the tray to bring them out.
I set down the drinks and milkshake, turning the tray under my arm as I pull out my note pad to take down their food order.
"Number three, no unions, large fry, and a chicken sandwich, unions, tomatoes, lettuce, with a large fry." Jared rattles out, and I jot it down quickly. I turn to Sam and notice a distinct lack of his friend beside him.
"Chicken tenders and a large fry, number two and a basket of onion rings, please," Sam says, adding, "Paul will have the same as me, but without the onion rings and with fried pickles instead."
I nod, writing it all down.
"You want me to put a slice of pie in and bring it out later?" I ask, seeing Jared nod enthusiastically.
"That'd be great, y/n, thanks." I again nod at Sam's words, turning away and hustling to the kitchen to put in their order.
I service my other tables while the boys' food is being made, bustling around my section. I'm keenly aware of eyes on me, but I figure it's just someone waiting to get my attention so I can give them a refill.
When their food is ready, I bring it out to Sam and his group.
I set each of the baskets down before each of the boys, picking up their cups and going to get them refills.
They each eat quickly, and every time I pass their table, my skin prickles.
I try to see if it's one of them that needs my attention, but each time I look over, they're all engrossed in their food, or a conversation. Any time I look over, they're in tense conversation. I try and keep my distance so I don't disturb them, but I make sure to keep attentive to their cups and plates.
I sigh after a while, deciding that I must be making things up. No one seemed to be looking at me.
They ate quickly and I ran them their check. I was left with a good tip and a smiley face on the paper of the check beside Sam's signature.
---
When I was finally cut to go home, I took a long shower and collapsed in my bed. When my eyes closed, I saw a picture in my mind's eye.
Dark eyes framed by thick lashes. My vision slowly panned out, and I saw dark eyebrows. There was a slight wrinkle between them, like the person was frowning. Slowly, my mind put together a strong nose, then high cheekbones, full lips, and a strong jaw. Finally, I saw long, dark hair framing this handsome face.
Slowly, I put a name to the face I saw in my mind.
     Paul.
Why I was seeing Sam and Jared's friend, I had no clue. There was no denying that he was attractive, though. His angular face and sharp eyes made him look uninviting, but his sullen demeanor was softened by his full, almost pouty lips and well kept hair. His lack of facial hair made him look younger compared to Jared, who's scruffy chin made him look closer to twenty than to seventeen. The long, silky hair on his head had been messily pulled back, yes, but it served to make him look almost boyish, also.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when my door creaked open, and I peeled my eyes awake to see Bella standing in the doorway. Wordlessly, I pulled back the blankets around me and scooted over. She shut the door behind her and fell into my bed, sighing as I reaching out to pull the blanket over her shoulders.
I fell asleep shortly after, Bella's breathing steady almost immediately.

Author's Note:
Hey guys!! This is my first fic ever! Please lmk what you think about it 🥰
Also, I plan to change some things about the story. I'm going on a mix of the books and movies, but I plan to change the timeline a little, change the logistics a bit, and make some of the characters a bit older because I don't like how literally everyone is like 16?? Anyway, I'll probably put out a chapter of all the stuff I change to get some feedback and stuff

More than Anything
Lucifer x Adapted daughter! Reader
Synopsis: You were just a baby with weird shapes on your cheek and having no one Lucifer took you in while depressed until it got really bad so Charlie and Vaggie started taking care of you
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You played with your dolls as Charlie was playing with you. It’s been 1 years since the last time you saw your dad and yet you don’t know him. When you were first taken away you couldn’t eat anything at all until Charlie started to actually pay attention to you to the point where she knows every detail.
Charlie was happy to take you in as a sister but was disappointed at her dad for leaving such a young now two year old without a parental guidance. Charlie had her mom but who do you have?
She watched you sucking on you pacifier while characterizing the doll with innocence. It was no surprise that you were a hellborn because your cheeks gave it away. No human has the power that you have.
“Come little baby let go get you a warm bottle of milk and some lunch” Charlie exclaimed before picking you up as you clinged to her.

Being Charlie's Older Sister
Tumblr media
Being Charlie's Older sister means the two of you are really close
She always looked up to you and wanted to be just like you
You comforted her whenever she was upset
When she told you about rehabilitation, you were a bit hesitant at first
But none the less, you supported her dream
You also thought she and Vaggie made an adorable couple
You became part of the staff working at her hotel, making sure your sister didn't overwork herself
She was glad to have you around since not many people believed she could achieve her dream
You keep Angel Dust in line as much as you can since you want your sister's dream to come true
When Alastor comes around, you're on high alert
You made sure that Charlie didn't make any deals with him, and made sure he didn't cause any trouble
You weren't afraid of him despite how powerful he was
You're always there for your sister and will make sure she's doing ok

First Time Meeting the Cast (Daredevil cast x teen!reader)
Firsts (A ‘Big Brother Duties’ spinoff)
Chapter 1: First Time Meeting the Cast
Type: series; Daredevil cast x teen!reader (platonic!)
Warnings: none
Spoilers: none?
Notes: this came as a request for y/n’s ‘firsts’ playing in daredevil - i ended up making this multiple chapters cuz one of the ideas took me to almost 2000 words so i figured itd be best to split it up XD the first chp is very short but the others wont be lol
As always, love and/or constructive/friendly criticism is welcome and encouraged!
Disclaimers: i do not own daredevil, its characters, or plot but i DO own Emily Murdock
Word count: 645
Y/n stood outside the reading room door, wringing her hands. The casting director stood at her side, noticing her nerves. She smiled a bit and looked her in the eyes. “Do you need a minute?” she asked.
The girl looked up at her and took a shaky breath. She fanned her hands out, trying to rid them of their shaking. “No, I’m fine. I mean…I’m not really fine but I’m ready,” she said, turning back to the door.
The casting director smiled and nodded, opening the door before them. Y/n took another breath, hoping it would ease her heart and lessen the palpitations. Steeling herself, she stepped through the doorway and did a quick analysis of the room. She thanked whoever was listening that Charlie Cox was not yet in the room. She was still nervous to meet the incredible talent in the room, but Charlie was a whole other story.
As predicted, when Y/n entered the room, all eyes were on her. She gulped a bit and mustered a smile. The casting director put a hand on her shoulder.
“Everyone, this is Y/n L/n. She’s the one coming on to play Emily Murdock,” she smiled, introducing the teen.
Chatter started up almost instantly. Deborah came up first, pulling the girl into a hug and introducing herself to Y/n.
Elden was next, shaking Y/n’s hand and welcoming her to the cast. Everyone else came up one by one.
As everyone had engaged Y/n in conversation, she didn’t notice Charlie Cox enter the room about 10 minutes later until he spoke up.
“Sorry I’m late, everyone.”
Y/n’s breath caught a bit and she was glad this wasn’t Daredevil where he could hear every little sound. She tried calming herself and playing out in her head to keep her cool but as soon as she turned and saw Charlie, she turned into a shy little girl and had no idea what to do.
“Alright, where’s my new little sister?” a British accented voice said.
Y/n felt a shock go through her heart. Her body froze and her new co-stars took notice. Deborah smiled a bit and nudged her arm.
“Don’t worry. He’s a teddy bear. Relax; it’ll be fine,” she said, hoping to ease the girl’s nerves.
Y/n took a deep breath and let it out, nodding her head. Wiping her now-sweating hands on her pants, she turned to the source of Charlie Cox’s voice.
The two actors met eyes and Y/n gave him a wave and shy smile, still too nervous to produce words.
“Hello, love!” he said, arms spread wide for a hug as he made his way across the room to Y/n. She gladly returned his warm hug, already feeling foolish for being so nervous to meet him. “Y/n, right?” Charlie asked as he pulled away.
The fangirl inside her exploded at hearing him say her name but she was a good enough actress to keep her cool. “Yes, that’s me,” the girl smiled back.
“They showed me your audition tape and I was so impressed; like, you blew me away. Elden texted me after he had seen it and, we hadn’t known the decision yet mind you, and he said ‘I think we found Matt’s sister.’”
Y/n beamed at the small story. She was glad everyone liked her and thought her worthy to be part of their cast.
“Alright everyone, we ready to do our first read-through with the new addition to the family?” one of the crew called.
Charlie smiled at Y/n and held an arm out, directing her to the closest chair. The teen sat and felt a warmth in her chest as he sat right next to her.
Y/n had a feeling this was going to be the best role of her life.
