Loving how Queen Sugar has slowly but effectively gotten Nova and Charley to swap roles from Season 1 to Season 4. Charley started off the celebrity who was disconnected from the community while Nova was the local activist for her community. Now Nova’s off on a book tour getting more and more famous and though she keeps claiming that this book will lead to healing for the community at large and her family specifically, it doesn’t seem to be helping her family much at all, something she’s refusing to recognize. And through it all, Charley is the one trying to handle being a local activist and keep the community from being destroyed. 

Now that Nova has some experience being in Charley’s shoes, hopefully this will eventually offer her perspective on who Charley is and how she handles things to bring them back together and onto the same page. Having both Bordeon sisters fighting for the community would make them near unstoppable!
