Dip your way to perfect nails with Gelish Dip

I first discovered gel nails back in college when it was offered to me at a nail salon event. Years later, it’s safe to say that I never looked back to getting regular nail polish again. Probably one of the many reasons why this is so is because I love the convenience - gel nails look better, feel sturdier, and most importantly, last longer than regular polish. A month ago, I attended another event hosted by Beauty & Butter, and this time around they introduced the next generation upgrade to my go-to nail service - the Gelish Dip.

Think ultra fine powder that hardens into gel without the use of UV light. Sounds super not familiar? That was what I thought initially! But then we got to try it out, and I was floored! The whole process took only 30 minutes, and was was faster than the regular gel polish (which can take up to one hour to apply + drying time) The Gelish Dip changed the way I looked at nail polish forever. I am hoping they come up with the pedicure version next!

Gelish Dip promises 14 days of chip and peel-free nails. It comes in 120 colors, including cremes, glitters, shimmers, metallics and five French shades.

Here’s what my friend Mikki Galang’s nails looked like after the Gelish Dip! I don’t know if I could ever grow my nails to be that long and beautiful (force of habit, my being a Nurse!) but the results are truly amazing!

It will not always be like you wished it to be. Maybe you’ll get that spontaneous call that will lead to a drive up a hill to see a scatter of lights from houses down below, or maybe you won’t. But it will come. It happens with finding an extremely good book in a stranger’s house, or seeing a rainbow unexpectedly. It’s going outside in the rain without (miraculously) getting your feet wet. It’s in 6AM good morning texts, 10PM boardgames, and appropriate inappropriate 1AM jokes. It’s being alone in your bedroom, laughing out loud to an episode from a series you promised yourself would be the last one for the night. It comes with your brother saving you the last of the milk or your sister hacking your snapchat and using the caption "Driving with the best sister ever." It comes in late night drives with matcha flavored oreos and your current favorite song playing in the background. It’s in doing stupid things with stupid friends, the moment frozen in stupid photos that no one will ever get to see. It’s getting a smile from a stranger, or giving a smile back. It’s about making a difference in someone’s day, in whatever way.

Sometimes it gets dark and all you want to do is to do nothing but stare at that crack in the ceiling but once you allow the tiny bits of happy memories to seep in, suddenly it won’t be as bad anymore.

Happiness may not always come in the form you wished it to be. It’s not always permanent. Heck most of the time it’s temporary. But I promise, it will come to present itself eventually. So go out there and live your life like how it’s meant to be. After all, life is too short to be anything but happy. :)

St. Paul College of Bocaue joins Crissa Dance Synergy Year 8

Lol feeling ko nagiging online newspaper na ng school tong blog ko haha. Humeheadline feels kasi yung title ko. Anyways, yesterday nag-auditon yung Pure Dance Troupe (PDT) sa competition na yan sa Dolphy Theater, ABS-CBN. Para naman may malagay sa Prism na picture, sumama ako. Ako yung taga picture nila. Kasama ko si Ma'am Jaja (Economics teacher namin) tsaka si Jireh (kapatid ni Tintin V.) habang sumasayaw sila there sa stage. :p

Pina giveaway ni Ms. charleneajose (thank you btw) yung striped leggings na suot ko. Fortunately, ako yung isa sa mga nanalo. Sana manalo pa ako sa mga susunod na giveaways. #OOTD ko yan, deym I'm weird like that.

"Go PDT!" "Tintin wag ka magmura!" "Go guys!" Wala eh, supportive kami. Hehe jk.
