A random AU idea I thought about because no sleep? weird thoughts.

A Prince and the Pauper type of AU?

-Charlie is the daughter of the king and queen, of course. Alastor is semi well off? I don’t know what he does.

-Charlie is engaged to Magnolia May, a noble woman whom she has never met, and thus who she has no interest in marrying.

-The plan is to send Charlie away to Magnolia’s estate for at least six months leading up to the wedding so they can get to know each other.

-Vaggie and Fenir are Alastor’s clients who have never met him, and have a set date to meet him.

-Alastor has grown bored of his monotonies life.

-Alastor and Charlie run into each other one day, Alastor on a delivery (?), and Charlie having snuck out of the castle for at least one last hooray before she’s shipped off to marry someone she doesn’t know.

-Yadda, yadda, yadda, they end up switching places, and since no one has really seen either of them, it’s actually not that hard for them to swap.

-Charlie isn’t even referred to as princess and Magnolia is unaware she is female, or even her name. and Alastor just goes by a title.

-Alastor did teach Charlie his trade and Charlie taught Alastor royal manners before they swapped.

-The end game is AlaMag and CharFenVag, of course.
