Note
What would an ideal day off look like for each character if it's not too much? 😅
Liran: An ideal day off for Liran would undoubtedly be one spent around those he cherishes. It might begin with a leisurely breakfast with Seraphina. Later, he enjoys a calm, peaceful day, often reading or engaging in light, playful training with fellow Red Company members. As the evening rolls in, a hearty meal with the whole Company, and later stargazing alone or with MC, would be the perfect way to end the day.
Makena: For Makena, an ideal day off would be a balanced blend of solitary and social activities. The day would start with her tending to her beloved garden, hands covered in soil as she takes care of her plants. In the evening, she heads to the local tavern ‚Shivering Shandy‘, enjoying the spirited music and the infectious energy. Dancing to the rhythm, singing her heart out, being one with the crowd — this is her perfect escape.
R: R would start the day with an intense workout or a long ride on their horse. Not many people like to associate with R, so R would probably spend the day pursuing individual activities, two of their favourite activities is either to join underground fighting or to undertake a challenging hunt and they will only return when they captured their prey, either way, losing is not an option. The evening might see them at a quiet corner of a tavern, enjoying a meal and a drink on their own.
Ghost: Ghost's ideal day off is spent chasing pleasure in all its forms. A late morning start with an extravagant breakfast will start the day. Then they spend the afternoon lounging in a bathhouse, indulging in relaxing massages, and visiting stalls for some shopping. In the evening, they'd go to a tavern to dance, and flirt. When they have enough, they'd go home with someone from the tavern or go to a pleasure house, seeking their favourite kind of pleasure~
Joryn: Joryn's ideal day off involves some quality time with friends, their crew or a current lover. A day spent on the deck of a ship or in their favourite tavern ‚The Tipsy Mermaid‘, a bottle of good rum, good company, card games (only with bettings involved of course) would be their idea of perfect relaxation. Joryn is a social creature and enjoys the company of others in the streets and in the sheets.*hehehe*
Rothar: Rothar's ideal day off is still a structured one. They spend time maintaining their equipment, studying new combat techniques, or meticulously planning for future endeavors. However, they would also set aside some precious time for their child, cherishing those moments the most out of their day. Even on their days off, Rothar finds satisfaction in a job well done and in the simplicity of familial bonds.
Cassius: An ideal day off for Cassius involves spending time with MC, taking a break from his leadership responsibilities to just be a father. Whatever MC wants do to, he’s down for it.
Callista: Callista hates days off, ‚relaxing’ isn’t really in her vocabulary, as she often doesn’t know what to do with herself when she isn’t needed. She will often go patrolling anyway, do a small assignment or just sharpen her weapons. On rare occasions she will join Amahle on her outings.
Varian: Varian would likely use his day off to catch up on sleep often outside, in a quiet, shady spot under a tree. Do not disturb him.
Amahle: Amahle's ideal day off involves taking a break from the kitchen to enjoy some of her favorite culinary delights, prepared by someone else for a change!
Seraphina: Seraphina's ideal day off involves a relaxing day with Liran or alone spent in the local marketplace, engaging in trading, picking up unique trinkets, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. She appreciates the variety of goods and stories each vendor has to offer.
Olaf: On his day off Olaf partakes in friendly wrestling matches or arm wrestling bouts. His day wouldn't be complete without a hearty meal shared with friends, with plenty of stories and laughter.
Ayo: On a day off, Ayo loves going on a fishing trip. The patience and tranquility required for fishing gives them time to reflect and relax. Plus, a successful catch means a hearty meal!
Hadrian: For Hadrian, an ideal day off involves an early morning of organization and planning, followed by a relaxing afternoon with a good book and a soothing bath.
Lola: Lola's perfect day off involves visiting nearby towns, chatting with locals, and perhaps enjoying a lively festival or market.
Roshan: An ideal day off for them would be spent enjoying a calm and peaceful day wandering around. Whether it be feeding the strays, watching the local children play, or simply enjoying the tranquillity of nature around them, it's these simple moments of peace that bring Roshan genuine happiness.

💢 ANGER - what are some habits they have that will take some getting used to?
💢 ANGER Liran: Liran's overprotective and somewhat stubborn nature may be challenging to adapt to. His habit of putting the well-being of others before his own is noble but can also be a source of tension, as he often extends his protective nature even when it's not necessarily requested or needed.
Makena: Makena has a habit of over-analysing situations or gets lost in her thoughts when she's engrossed in a book or searching for solutions to a problem. The world around her might as well not exist. This level of intense focus can be a bit disconcerting for those around her who are not used to it and might take some time to get accustomed to.
R: R is known for their love of living life on the edge. They often make bold and impulsive decisions without necessarily thinking about potential consequences. This love for adrenaline, danger, and their competitive drive to be the best can be quite exhilarating but also somewhat nerve-wracking for those close to them.
Ghost: Ghost's playful and flirtatious nature can sometimes blur boundaries. Getting used to their teasing and games might require some patience.
Joryn: Joryn's laid-back attitude and tendency to take things lightly might be something one would need to adjust to. Their frequent sarcasm and flippant remarks might not sit well with everyone initially.
Rothar: Rothar's disciplined and orderly lifestyle can be a bit hard to adapt to. They're strict with themselves and hold others to high standards as well.
Cassius: With his leadership role, Cassius has the tendency to take responsibility for everything and everyone around him. He often has trouble delegating tasks and tends to overwork himself. This habit of his to bear the world on his shoulders can be exhausting not only for him but also for those close to him, as it can sometimes manifest as overprotectiveness or unnecessary worry.
Callista: Callista's stern demeanor and the weight she places on honor and tradition might seem rigid to some. Understanding her viewpoint and adjusting to her expectations might take time.
Varian: Varian's dry wit and tendency to deflect concern with dry humor might seem frustrating at times. Adjusting to his form of communication might take a bit of time.
Amahle: Amahle's gruff exterior and sharp tongue might be something that takes a bit of getting used to. It might take time to learn that beneath her stern facade, she harbors a warm heart.
Seraphina: Seraphina's zealous dedication to her craft might be overwhelming to some. Her perfectionist tendencies and high standards in her work may require some adjusting.
Olaf: Olaf's boisterous personality and love for battle might be intimidating at first. Getting used to his larger-than-life nature and constant energy could be a challenge.
Ayo: Ayo's stoicism and introspective nature might initially seem standoffish. Learning to read their silences and understanding their need for solitude will take some patience.
Hadrian: Hadrian's meticulousness and need for order in everything might be a bit tough to adapt to initially. His constant need to plan and prepare for every eventuality might require some adjustment.
Lola: Lola's constant charm offensive and persuasive ways might require some time to get used to. She's always 'on', always engaging and lively, which can be overwhelming for those who prefer quiet and peace.
Roshan: Roshan has a selfless nature that often sees them placing the well-being of others, both human and animal, before their own. This altruistic habit, while admirable, can be concerning as they frequently neglect their own needs in the process. This self-sacrificing trait might take some getting used to and sometimes requires reminders for Roshan that their own health and happiness are equally important.

👊 PUNCH - are they quick to violence? (for everyone)
👊 PUNCH
Liran: Liran prefers to resolve matters peacefully, but will not hesitate to step into the fray if those he cares about are threatened.
Makena: Makena will always try diplomacy first. She is patient and seeks to understand others, but if her friends or herself are in danger, she's not afraid to stand her ground.
R: R is quick to react to threats, their response usually leaning towards aggression. They won't shy away from violence if provoked.
Ghost: Ghost prefers to use their wits rather than fists. They are quick to evade rather than confront, but if cornered, they can be ruthless.
Joryn: As a captain, Joryn doesn't hesitate when a threat arises. They're quick to violence when they deem it necessary, preferring to snuff out potential dangers before they escalate further. They balance this readiness for action with their uncanny ability to assess a situation, making their strikes precise and effective.
Rothar: Rothar is disciplined and would not resort to violence without reason. As general, they understand the cost of violence and will try to avoid it unless necessary.
Cassius: When he was younger, Cassius was quick to choose violence but now as the leader of the Red Company, Cassius understands that violence is still sometimes necessary, but it's never his first resort anymore. He believes in diplomacy and negotiation, but he won't hesitate to protect his people if needed.
Callista: Callista is a seasoned warrior and understands the cost of violence. She won't be the first to throw a punch, but if pushed, she's not one to shy away from a fight.
Varian: Varian, abhors unnecessary violence but will protect his friends and patients if necessary.
Amahle: Don't cross her; she can hold her own if provoked.
Seraphina: Seraphina isn't quick to use violence. But when threats arise, her blacksmith strength and mama bear instincts surge, are making her a formidable force. She holds a strong commitment to the Red Company, and will not hesitate to defend it with her might if needed.
Olaf: Olaf, being a man of great stature and strength, might appear to be quick to violence. But in reality, he has a measured approach to conflict. He uses his imposing figure to intimidate rather than engage in physical confrontation, only resorting to violence when absolutely necessary.
Ayo: Ayo is stealthy and avoids direct confrontation, but their arrows are ready to fly if threats arise.
Hadrian: Hadrian is more of a thinker than a fighter. He would try to defuse a situation with reason and diplomacy first.
Lola: Lola would avoid violence, preferring to use her charisma and negotiation skills. But she won't shy away if her crew is in danger.
Roshan: Roshan would do everything they can to avoid violence, as their strength lies in their compassionate nature and ability to calm rather than incite.

could i ask what is the casts (or just the ROs if the full cast is too much) favorite form of quiet intimacy?? (braiding/brushing hair, peeling oranges, carrying things, stuff like that)
alternatively, what do the cast see in their future? what do they plan for themselves, where do they see themselves in 10 years?
Of course, you can ask! Let's dive in:
Liran: Quiet Intimacy - Likes to have his hair brushed by the MC or other people he trusts after a long day, as it gives him a sense of peace and calm. It's a moment of silent bonding, where words aren't necessary.
Future - Sees himself continuing to serve in the Red Company, working on honing his skills and gaining more respect and recognition among his comrades. He doesn’t desire much change, just the continuation of his work. His loyalty will always lie with his family - the Red Company.
Makena: Quiet Intimacy - Enjoys an evening in, sharing a blanket, and reading quietly together, occasionally pointing out interesting lines or chapters, is her favorite form of intimacy.
Future - Makena envisions a life of stability and peace. She would like a life that is removed from conflict and chaos. She sees herself possibly leaving the life of a mercenary and settling in a quiet town where she can utilize her skills in a more peaceful way - maybe open her own shop.
Riyah/Ridan/Riz: Quiet Intimacy - They find the act of sharing a meal together to be very intimate, especially since R normally doesn’t share food.
Future - R is ambitious and competitive. Their plans are centered around establishing the Iron Serpents as the most influential mercenary group in Valyssa, surpassing the Red Company. A future where their name inspires fear and respect is what they aim for. Money is also a big part of this.
Ghost: Quiet Intimacy - Enjoys braiding or playing with their partner's hair. It's a soothing act for them, and they find a lot of comfort and connection in it.
Future - Ghost doesn't share their long-term plans easily, keeping their cards close to their chest. If you ask them directly, you'd be met with a cryptic smile and a non-committal answer.
Joryn: Quiet Intimacy - They enjoy stargazing on the deck late at night when the rest of the crew is asleep. They enjoy showing their partner different constellations and sharing tales of sea myths and legends under the soft glow of the moon.
Future - Joryn envisions themselves to explore the uncharted corners of the sea. They hope to map out sea routes and hidden treasures that are yet unknown to the world, sailing wherever the wind or rumours takes them.
Rothar: Quiet Intimacy - For Rothar, the act of helping each other with armor and equipment is a silent communication of trust and care.
Future - If everything goes to their plan… Rothar sees themselves serving their kingdom in whatever capacity required. They hold a stoic acceptance of duty and see themselves continuing to meet the expectations of their position.
Cassius: Quiet Intimacy - Cassius enjoys sharing silence with someone he's comfortable with, just sitting side by side in tranquil companionship, maybe while watching the sunset after a long day. Future - Cassius hopes to guide the Red Company into a beacon of strength and stability. He wants to create the best possible future for his child and his people.
Callista: Quiet Intimacy - Callista appreciates the silent companionship of shared chores, it's a quiet way of supporting each other that she values. Future - As a steadfast woman, Callista envisions a future where her kin, the Red Company, will be strong, prosperous, and respected by all.
Varian: Quiet Intimacy - Varian finds solace in providing quiet care, like a gentle touch on a wound or a steady hand in times of need. Future - Varian sees himself continuing his role as the healer of the Red Company, his dedication to their well-being unwavering, perhaps even pioneering new healing techniques.
Amahle: Quiet Intimacy - Amahle appreciates quiet companionship in her kitchen, someone peeling vegetables or stirring the pot under her direction. These moments of teamwork make her feel connected. Future - A decade down the line, Amahle hopes to pass down her cooking skills to the next generation, ensuring that the Red Company will always have hearty meals even when she's no longer around.
Seraphina: Quiet Intimacy - Seraphina finds peace in crafting something together, the silent rhythm of creation, and improvement in sync. Future - She imagines herself continuing to shape the Red Company's strength through her smithing, each strike on the anvil forging the future of the company. And if Seraphina would gain fame and recognition throughout Valyssa then she wouldn't complain about that as well :D
Olaf: Quiet Intimacy - Olaf cherishes the rare moments of tranquility in the midst of training, like a shared understanding in a brief, silent glance. Future - Olaf imagines himself mentoring the next generation of warriors, passing on his skills and experience to keep the Red Company formidable, and becoming a well-known warrior himself.
Ayo: Quiet Intimacy - Ayo appreciates silent hikes in nature, the shared experience of observing and blending into the natural world brings them close. Future - Looking into the future, Ayo sees themselves continuing to safeguard the Red Company. They envision the organization's increasing strength and growth, with themselves as an essential part of its security, always watching, always ready.
Hadrian: Quiet Intimacy - Hadrian finds a unique bond in shared organization tasks like taking inventory or making supply plans. Future - Hadrian envisions a well-organized, well-supplied Red Company in the future. In 10 years, he hopes to establish a network of reliable contacts and resources to better equip the group.
Lola: Quiet Intimacy - Lola enjoys engaging in deep, conversations, and learning about someone else's thoughts and perspectives. Future - Lola sees herself fostering a vibrant and diverse Red Company, her charisma attracting a wide array of talents but she also dreams of starting her own family.
Roshan: Quiet Intimacy - Roshan cherishes the moments of quiet care given to their animals, a soothing task that deepens bonds when shared. Future - Roshan dreams of growing the animal companions of the Red Company, maybe even introducing a sanctuary or a rehabilitation program for the wounded and lost creatures they come across in their travels.

😭 CRYING - what makes them cry? do they cry easily? (for everyone)
😭 CRYING Liran: He tends to internalize his emotions and hardly ever cries, but witnessing unjust situations or harm coming to those he cares about deeply can bring tears to his eyes. He will cry openly and confide in Seraphina and MC.
Makena: Though she doesn't cry easily, instances of profound sadness or failure can make her cry. However, she often hides her tears, preferring to maintain her composed exterior.
R: R rarely shows any emotion openly, let alone crying. R doesn’t cry, not anymore. Nobody has ever seen R crying and if they did they’re probably dead by now.
Ghost: Being a master of deception, it's hard to tell when Ghost is genuinely crying or simply putting on an act. However, moments of genuine vulnerability could trigger their tears.
Joryn: Joryn rarely lets anyone see them shed tears. However, the death of a valued crew member or the loss of their ship, which they consider their home, could lead to a moment of vulnerability.
Rothar: Rothar is stoic to the core and has a high threshold for emotional pain. It would take an event of extreme personal loss or an enormous failure to make them cry. Even then, they would prefer to shed their tears in private.
Cassius: Was a crybaby as a child but now rarely cries anymore. But profound losses and failure to protect those he cares about could bring him to tears.
Callista: It takes a lot to break Callista's stern exterior. Loss of kin or the betrayal of those close to her can make her cry. But she would only cry in her quarters where nobody can see her.
Varian: He hardly cries anymore but seeing people he cares about in pain or distress can stir emotions that lead to tears.
Amahle: She's unlikely to cry openly but moments of remembrance of her past might cause silent tears.
Seraphina: Seraphina is not prone to crying but she can be deeply moved by acts of artistic innovation or when Liran was comfortable enough to call her “Mom” for the first time.
Olaf: Olaf doesn’t cry easily. Only Ayo or Cassius might see his tears during times of personal loss or failure.
Ayo: Ayo hardly ever cries but can be moved to tears by acts of profound courage or selflessness.
Hadrian: Hadrian cries openly when overwhelmed by stress or when the Red Company faces significant loss.
Lola: Lola is an open book emotionally and isn’t afraid to cry when she’s happy, sad, or moved by a powerful story.
Roshan: Roshan hardly ever cries but witnessing harm to the animals they care for or people they love and cherish can bring them to tears.

💥 COLLISON - what emotions do they have trouble dealing with? (for everyone)
💥 COLLISON
Liran: Liran struggles with feelings of inadequacy and rejection. He tends to internalize these emotions, trying to appear strong and unaffected, but they often result in self-doubt and the fear of letting those he cares about down.
Makena: Makena has difficulty with trust. She is accustomed to guarding her emotions, and opening up to others can be a challenge. She's continually wrestling with the need to share herself with others and the fear of being hurt or betrayed.
R: R has difficulty dealing with feelings of compassion and empathy, largely because they see these emotions as vulnerabilities. They're used to putting up a tough exterior and struggle to reconcile their hardened outlook with any softness they might feel.
Ghost: Ghost has difficulty dealing with vulnerability. Their life thrives on manipulation and deception, making authenticity a complex concept to grasp. Whenever they're forced to reveal their genuine feelings or face the consequences of their actions, Ghost is plunged into emotional uncertainty, creating a struggle to regain their usually steadfast control over their emotions.
Captain Joryn: Joryn finds it challenging to handle feelings of dependency or attachment. Being a self-sufficient pirate has made them wary of relying on others, and they're uncomfortable when they find themselves caring more than they'd like to admit.
General Rothar: Rothar struggles with their emotions when their rigidly-held beliefs and principles are challenged. They're a stalwart in their ways and have difficulty grappling with the gray areas of morality and loyalty. Any potential for wavering or compromise triggers a significant internal conflict.
Cassius: Cassius struggles with the fear of loss and failure. Being a leader, the lives and welfare of his people weigh heavily on his shoulders.
Callista: Callista grapples with feelings of regret and guilt. Her tough exterior masks a history of hard decisions and sacrifices. Acknowledging these emotions means facing a past she'd rather keep behind her.
Varian: Varian has trouble dealing with his feelings of inadequacy. His role as a healer places a significant amount of pressure on him, and when he can't save someone, he blames himself. This leads to self-doubt and frustration that he finds challenging to overcome.
Amahle: Amahle struggles with pride, which often masks her feelings of insecurity about her age. She finds it difficult to admit when she needs help or when her abilities may not be up to par. It's an internal battle between acknowledging her limitations and preserving her well-earned reputation.
Seraphina: Seraphina finds it challenging to deal with feelings of vulnerability. Her strength and resilience are a significant part of her identity, and moments where she feels weak or dependent on others create inner conflict.
Olaf: Olaf struggles with feelings of restlessness and impatience. He thrives on the thrill of battle and adventure, and periods of inactivity can lead him to question his purpose and worth, stirring up a maelstrom of discontent within him.
Ayo: Ayo has trouble dealing with the fear of disappointment. As the eyes and ears of the Red Company, they feel a tremendous responsibility to not miss anything important.
Hadrian: Hadrian struggles with feelings of helplessness. Being the one who manages resources, he feels deeply responsible for ensuring everyone's needs are met. When he can't fix a problem, he experiences a deep sense of personal failure.
Lola: Lola finds it hard to cope with feelings of rejection. As the gatekeeper of the Red Company, she constantly puts herself out there, and each rejection feels like a personal slap in the face.
Roshan: Roshan grapples with feelings of grief. Being so close to animals means witnessing the cycle of life and death more often than most. Though they understand it as a natural process, the repeated experience of loss takes an emotional toll on Roshan.

🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they’re lying? (for everyone)
🤥 LYING
Liran: Liran is generally honest and isn't very good at lying. As MC and Liran grew up together, MC can immediately tell when Liran lies. He begins fidgeting and slightly stammers.
Makena: Makena is an excellent liar when she needs to be, able to maintain her composure and continue her activities without change. Only someone who knows her well might sense the slight stiffness in her voice when she's not telling the truth.
R: R is skilled at lying, making it hard to tell whether they're being honest or not, and they take pride in that.
Ghost: Ghost is a master at lying, their entire persona is built around deceit. No significant tell gives away their lies, making them highly unpredictable.
Captain Joryn: As a pirate, Joryn is a fairly good liar, although they prefer bold truth and audacity. When lying, they might embellish their stories even more than usual but who knows?
General Rothar: Rothar is excellent at strategic deception. No tell is visible on their stern exterior when they lie, making it difficult to discern their true intentions.
Cassius: Cassius does not typically resort to lies. When he does lie, he's not especially good at it - his characteristic grin fades and his eyes don't hold the same sparkle, which can be a dead giveaway.
Callista: As a seasoned matriarch, Callista has mastered the art of strategic deception when necessary. She maintains her stoic exterior, making it difficult to tell when she's lying.
Varian: Varian's dry wit can sometimes be a smokescreen for any lies. However, a slight hesitation could signal he's not being entirely truthful.
Amahle: Amahle isn't a great liar, and why should she? She's too blunt and straightforward. She tends to overemphasize her point or speak too quickly when she attempts to lie.
Seraphina: Seraphina is a decent liar, and her relaxed demeanor helps to mask her lies. But if one pays attention, they might notice her idly fiddling with a tool or piece of metal when she isn't telling the truth.
Olaf: Olaf isn't particularly skilled at lying. His booming voice may waver or he might avoid eye contact when he's not being truthful.
Ayo: Ayo, with their keen observational skills, can lie convincingly. Their only potential tell is a slight narrowing of their eyes, but even that is subtle and difficult to catch.
Hadrian: Hadrian is a fairly good liar, thanks to his strategic mind. However, he tends to over-plan his lies, which could result in a too-perfect explanation.
Lola: Lola, with her charisma and persuasion skills, is an excellent liar. She keeps a steady gaze and shows no significant changes in her behavior when lying.
Roshan: Roshan's compassionate nature makes them a poor liar. When they're not being honest, they might avoid direct eye contact or exhibit nervous behavior around the animals they care for.

Let's get to know each other(ROs and minor characters).
Care to tell some facts about everyone in your game?
Sure:) Let’s start with the ROs:
Liran
He prefers to show his strength rather than brag about it.
Liran is very loyal, especially to you. He will protect you at all cost.
Liran remains polite and steadfast despite his family's rejection. He's kind to everyone and helps out when he can. He's proof that strength comes in many forms.

Makena:
Makena is a quick learner and a little bit of a dork. She continually seeks to expand her knowledge and skills, always willing to learn new techniques and ideas.
Makena has always worked hard to prove to herself and others that she can do anything she sets her mind to.
Makena excels when she works under pressure. She always knows exactly what to do and she loves the thrill of that feeling.
Fun Fact: Despite her composed exterior, Makena has a hilarious inability to whistle. It's become a running joke, with members frequently engaging in good-natured attempts to teach her, only to be met with an assortment of funny and unsuccessful noises.
Riyah/Ridan/Riz
Before R joined the Iron Serpents they were in another group called "Outlaws"
R is fiercely independent, preferring to rely on their abilities rather than depend on others.
R is adaptable, able to adjust to changing circumstances with remarkable speed.
Fun Fact: For all their fierceness and martial prowess, R is incredibly bad at keeping their personal items organized. It's a running joke among those who know them that R can lose their weapons in their own room. This often leads to frantic, last-minute searches before any mission.
Ghost:
Ghost trusts few. When trust is gained, their loyalty is unwavering. However, their allegiances are unknown.
Ghost is an expert in stealth, infiltration, and deception, making them unpredictable and difficult to track.
Ghost tries to always stay two steps ahead in any situation. This is a crucial aspect of their survival in their line of work.
Fun Fact: Ghost, with all their grace and stealth, has a funny weakness - they are hilariously ticklish. An unsuspecting feather or sudden poke can disrupt them, much to everyone's amusement.
Captain Joryn:
Countless conflicts and heists have gained Joryn fame. It also helps that Joryn is stubborn and refuses to bow down. It contributed to their rise to power.
Joryn's ship, the Leviathan, is as famous as its captain. It's a testament to Joryn's power and wealth, bearing scars from countless battles and bearing treasures from across the seas.
Captain Joryn's ship is their kingdom, on the ship their word is law. They rule with an iron fist, maintaining discipline among their crew.
Fun Fact: Joryn, the fearsome pirate captain, is oddly meticulous about their wardrobe. They have a distinct fondness for hats and own a collection from all over the world. They never set sail without selecting the perfect hat for the journey.
General Alva Rothar
A master strategist and veteran of many battles, Rothar's tactical brilliance has turned the tides of war more than once.
The general has an intense dislike for mercenaries, viewing them as unreliable and unpredictable variables that could jeopardize their plans.
Rothar is known for their patience and ability to remain calm even in the face of extreme stress.
Fun Fact: For someone so stern and strategic, Rothar has a surprising weakness for sugary treats. They have a secret stash of candy that they dip into when they're deep in thought, a habit they vehemently deny if ever caught.
Support Characters:
Cassius:
Fun Fact: Cassius has an irrational fear and dislike for goats. Nobody in the Red Company knows exactly why, and it's become a running joke among the members. Cute Fact: When Cassius is gone for longer period of times he has a habit of bringing small trinkets or artifacts he finds on his travels for the MC. These might be anything from a strangely-shaped rock, an exotic feather, or a piece of ancient pottery. He presents each with a grand story.
Callista:
Fun Fact: Callista collects different types of tea from all over the world. She believes that the right blend can cure any ailment or lift any mood.
Cute Fact: Callista is not good with children but she has a tradition where she creates hand-made wooden toys for every newborn in the community. She personally carves each one, infusing her blessings and good wishes.
Varian:
Fun Fact: Varian can't stand hiccups. They distract him, and he insists they ruin his focus. The mere mention of hiccups can make him visibly annoyed, which, considering his usual calm demeanor, is a rather amusing sight.
Cute Fact: Varian has a secret passion for knitting. During the cold winters, many members of the Red Company have found themselves the unexpected recipients of surprisingly warm (and sometimes too colorful) scarves and mittens, lovingly hand-knit by their gruff healer.
Amahle:
Fun Fact: Amahle likes to tell the story about her being able to tame a wild boar just by adding the right spices to its meal. The members of the Red Company, even though they knew it couldn’t be true, never dared to question the truth behind it in front of Amahle, given her reputation with the kitchen knife.
Cute Fact: Every year on the first day of spring, Amahle prepares a special dish known as "Spring's Blessing" - a vibrant mix of fresh vegetables and an array of her special spices. She insists that it brings good luck and health for the coming year. She goes out and gives it to the children living on the streets.
Seraphina:
Fun Fact: Seraphina has a peculiar habit of naming all her hammers. She insists that each of them has a unique "personality" that affects the outcome of her work. It's not uncommon to hear her asking for "Bessie" or "Gunda" during a busy day in the forge, leading to quite a few chuckles.
Cute Fact: Seraphina, in her own quirky way, adds a small, unique symbol to every weapon she creates, a symbol of her affection and well-wishes to the weapon's wielder. It's her personal 'blessing' for their safety and victory.
Olaf:
Fun Fact: Despite his size and strength, Olaf has a comical fear of tiny insects. The sight of a small bug can send the imposing warrior running in the opposite direction, much to the amusement of his comrades. Once a year the members of the Red Company try to prank Olaf and Cassius and make a bet about who the biggest Baby is: Olaf the Jitterbug or Cassius the Baaa-shful
Cute Fact: Olaf has a habit of braiding tiny wildflowers into his beard during springtime. It's a tradition that he picked up from his mother, a small, personal ritual to honour her.
Ayo:
Fun Fact: Ayo, despite being the epitome of stealth and precision, is famously clumsy when it comes to domestic chores. Attempts to help in the kitchen or repair equipment often result in minor catastrophes, leading to a standing joke in the Red Company.
Cute Fact: Ayo often takes up the night watch, giving their comrades a chance to rest. They use this time to weave intricate patterns with colored threads, a calming activity for them. These handcrafted keepsakes are then silently left for their comrades to find, a quiet token of Ayo's silent but profound care for their fellow members of the Red Company.
Hadrian:
Fun Fact: Hadrian has an eccentric habit of organizing everything by color - from maps and books to food supplies. It's a quirk that often leads to amusing moments, like the time when he insisted on arranging apples by their exact shades of red.
Cute Fact: Hadrian keeps a small locket with him at all times. Inside is a tiny portrait of someone but nobody knows who, as Hadrian never shows anyone the locket. He often talks to the locket when he's alone, sharing his day and the latest Red Company news.
Lola:
Fun Fact: Lola has an entertaining knack for creating elaborate nicknames for every new recruit based on their first impression. The names often stick, to the complains of many.
Cute Fact: Lola keeps a personal memento from every new recruit she welcomes - be it a small trinket, a drawing, a note. She values these keepsakes immensely, viewing them as symbols of the diverse family that forms the Red Company. Her collection is kept in a beautifully ornate box.
Roshan:
Fun Fact: Roshan loves telling animal-themed jokes to lighten the mood around the Red Company. However, they are famously terrible at joke-telling, often messing up the punchline or laughing too hard midway through the joke to finish it. It's a spectacle that always gets more chuckles for the performance than the joke itself.
Cute Fact: Roshan is known to have created an intricate "communication" system involving different color ribbons tied around the animals' necks or in their habitats. Each color represents a different message or mood: a red ribbon means the animal is being particularly stubborn that day and should be left alone, a blue one signifies the animal is at ease, and so on.
