mc not subtly checking sameer's abs when he shows his tattoo, lmao.
Sameer doesn't really have defined abs, but that of course doesn't mean you can't still look. 👀

Mumbai, 14th February 2022:  A throbbing investigation of criminal masterminds and a gray hero living in the dark to discover the truth - the race to the finale is crucial. With an even darker, suspense-packed visual, Disney+ Hotstar today unveiled the second trailer for the most-awaited Hotstar Specials crime thriller, Rudra- The Edge Of Darkness at an event in Mumbai. Building curiosity, the trailer opens with a terrific dialogue by Ajay Devgn, “Jo andharo mein chupta hai, main usse wahi milta hu.” As he further introduces himself as ACP Rudra Veer, we get to see a glimpse of him solving the most mysterious crimes in the most unconventional ways.
Helmed by ace director Rajesh Mapuskar, this riveting psychological crime drama is celebrated actor Ajay Devgn’s digital series debut, where he will be donning the avatar of a cop never seen before. Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India, the series has been shot at the most iconic locales of Mumbai. It also features a stellar cast including Raashii Khanna, Esha Deol, Atul Kulkarni, Ashwini Kalsekar, Tarun Gahlot, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Satyadeep Misra in pivotal roles.
“In Rudra – The Edge of Darkness, we are excited to bring a riveting thriller with one of India’s most loved actors, Ajay Devgn. Sameer Nair and his amazing team, Applause have helped deliver a show that we hope you will enjoy” said Gaurav Banerjee, Head, Content Disney+ Hotstar, and HSM Entertainment Network, Disney Star.

It was absorbing and enthralling to make and I hope it feels like that in the viewing.”
Bollywood Superstar, Ajay Devgn, said, “My character in Rudra - The Edge Of Darkness is possibly the greyest character you may have never witnessed before. This has been both challenging and inspiring for me, and I am elated to share the magic of Rudra with my fans across the world. I hope they fall in love with the show as intensely as we have worked towards the making of it."
Actor Esha Deol said, “It has been a thrilling ride to once again share the screen with my friend and co-actor Ajay Devgn, who, from the beginning of our shoot, eased me into being back in front of the camera. With Rudra-The Edge Of Darkness, I look forward to getting one step closer to the audience through my character and the show.”
Raashii Khanna who is also making her digital debut with Rudra-The Edge Of Darkness said,“Rudra is a dream project for me. It is the most difficult character I have played so far and it definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. I hope the audience loves it as much as I loved playing it. I am also very grateful to be sharing screen space with a celebrated actor like Ajay Devgn sir.”
Actor Atul Kulkarni said, “I am excited to be a part of Rudra-The Edge Of Darkness and it’s been a pleasure working with actors like Ajay Devgn, Esha Deol, Raashi Khanna, and the entire crew. This series has been great learning for me and I am confident that viewers will be thrilled to watch this show. There is a lot of twists and suspense awaiting you.”
The six-episode series is an Indian rendition of the globally successful British series, Luther. The series has a dark and complex narrative that is an idiosyncratic race-against-the-clock thriller delving into the psyche of highly-intelligent criminals and the detective who hunts them. Rudra-The Edge of Darkness will be available exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar from 4th March 2022 in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali.

Each episode in the series features a new threat even as the overarching series arc continues, portraying the grave personal cost at which DCP Rudra Veer Singh pursues criminals and killers and the unlikely friendship that he forms with Aliyah, a genius sociopath. In the series, Mumbai, the metropolis goes beyond being a mere backdrop for our hero’s vigilante actions but sets the very stage upon which the war between good and evil is waged. Is it possible to add the choice to drive his SUV together with Sameer more often? :)
Yes! That will very likely come up as a choice either in the current episode or the next. I'm still trying to find a good spot for it, but it is my intention to include it. :)

How does Sameer react if the MC wants to drive his car?
You mean other than when MC is forced to drive it because Sameer has been kidnapped by Heaven? 💀
He really doesn't care! He does have a weird fondness for his SUV, but not to the point where he's going to be bothered about someone else driving it. And since he does generally do a lot of driving, getting a break is appreciated.

The reason I put this is because the natural beauty of Sameer (being male) is "destroyed" only a little bit with women's clothes (to be more precise lingeries). How does Sameer react if the MC doesn't want lingeries on them? Also it is a situation that can be solved, it should not say Sameer but the MC(say). I hope I have not gone any further. I don't want to be offensive to Sameer, sorry if I offended you.
Okay. I didn't realize you meant for MC to say that to Sameer, not the other way around.
That being said... I can't say I agree with the notion that Sameer's "natural beauty" would be destroyed at all by him wearing a particular type of clothing. To him, clothing is just clothing (so lingerie is a thing anyone could wear, not just women).
As far as an MC (or any partner) who didn't want him to where lingerie in an intimate moment, he'd be fine with that. He does, in general, find wearing lingerie kinda fun, but it's not a huge deal.
I'm not offended by the request, but I also don't think I'm comfortable writing an actual prompt for this! x

More spoilers
Newt gets infected therefore he asks Thomas to kill him. They get into a whole argument, eventually leading to newt turning into a zombie because his infection was already well developed which leads to Thomas accidentally killing Newt while he's trying to get him to stop and maybe back to his senses
This leads me to the next question: How does Samuel react to accidentally hurting or killing Mc? How does he deal with and Mc who accidentally goes rogue due to their powers?
How does Sameer* react to accidentally hurting or killing Mc?
If he hurt MC (but didn't kill them), he'd be falling over himself to attend to their every need while they recovered and apologizing constantly.
If he accidentally killed MC (and therefore accidentally fulfilling the prophecy), I don't think he'd be able to come anywhere close to being able to handle it. He'd probably disappear to a far corner of the universe where no one would be able to find him and wallow in his grief.
How does he deal with and Mc who accidentally goes rogue due to their powers?
If it's accidental, he'd primarily be concerned about helping MC, either by containing their powers himself (to the best of his ability), or helping MC to do it. I don't think it would be a big emotional thing for him by itself.

Spoilers for Maze Runner if you haven't seen it or read it!!
I just re-watched Maze Runner : Death Cure and the part where Newt forces Thomas to kill him made me think.
What if MC was in Newts situation and forced Sameer to kill them...?
(Not with zombie sickness, just had no other choice?)
💀 I haven't seen/read Maze Runner and know very little about it, so only answering from the context given here...
(And gonna put below a 'read more'. For reasons.)
MC asking Sameer to kill them is the only scenario in which he would kill them. He'd hate it and he'd never recover from it, but if it came down to it and that's what MC chose, he'd do as they ask.

ahh I just finished the first chapter :( I love it!! So many option tho, you had to go crazy with so much coding xD
I love Sameer with all my soul, but I don't really know if I can trust him completely, imagine if his master plan (and a very simple one /sarcasm) failed and he founds out he can't do it, and the only way is going along with the prophecy... I mean, it would be a downfall if you are making me love you and trust you for something even himself dont really, really know if it could work...
SPOILEEEEER
And what frustrate me more is that my friends apparently prefer to risk Mc live and go with him, even without knowing him than thinking about the other possibilities
Im curious, so in my mind I choose the option of "No." when Izzy and Jess asked about if Mc would kill Sameer. But I wanted to know all the options XD so that was what I did. I was a little surprise with the "I dont know" Cause, in my mind is the most logic one to do. I mean, I kinda understand that, if mc kills Sameer, the apocalypse it may or may not be near, and that is not a good thing... at least not for humanity xDD, but its not totally fair for Izzy say things as "[…] but at least he knows what he wants" its like, of course he knows what he know he had like +20 years to think about it??? and what is more, we dont really know if he knows something that MC not... there is so many variables to considerer :(... can you really trust someone you met for the first time two days ago? and one of them was not even present?
so right now im kinda tempt to put the worst answer or the idk answer just to mess with them like «fuuuk u friends who think of me as a possible murder but it does not cross their minds to believe that the other person, who you DONT know, could try to kill me» (Its more sad for me cause Jesse is probably my fav character rn, lol, like he is maybe in the same place as Sameer, I think he is such a cute and sweet boy and I want to protect him lol), so, there will be any punishment in the future if you choose the options that lower the friendship score with your friends?
Can we pleeeeease in the future have an interaction with them like: "oh, wow look at this, I didn't kill him, what a surprise" in a sarcastic, sassy way? extra point if we add something like "the only time things got hot was in bed", for romance lol
I love this story and the way you write it, so thanks for your work! and sorry for my mumbling XD
Hello! I'm glad you enjoyed the demo!! ☺️ The coding is a bit tedious at times, but there are a lot of stories I want to tell within the story, so it's been worth it! (Not saying I won't want to kick myself in the future, though, lol.)
I can't really comment on your mistrust of Sameer too much without getting into ~spoilers~, but he does have a fairly good reason for believing his plan will work. If he knew of another solution (that didn't involve dragging MC into it), he would absolutely have gone that route.
As far as Izzy and Jesse go, from their perspective, what MC is telling them has to be the truth. It's too outrageous not to be, right? And presumably if Sameer wanted to hurt/kill MC, he would've done it already.
For any of the non-no responses about whether you could kill Sameer, Izzy and Jesse respond negatively because they're thinking about it from their own perspective - that they, and everyone they love (with the exception of MC), would die. They can't fathom that MC could really look them in the eye and say anything other than "no". It certainly can be argued that they're placing too much responsibility on MC's shoulders too quickly, but keep in mind that they've had this information even less time than MC has. I think if they'd waited to ask that question at a later point, they would have been able to respond better. (Though depending on the MC, they may realize that they would NEVER do that and not ask at all.)
There won't be any punishment, per se, at this point if you lower your friendship score with Izzy/Jesse. It may change some of the dialogue, but there's still time to earn those points back. You're not going to get rid of them that easily!
"Wow look at this, I didn't kill him," does sound like something sarcastic!MC would say, so we'll see! 😂
And never apologize for mumbling! I appreciate hearing from folks!! ❤️

Same anon from the searows thingy! The song 'Not Strong Enough' by boygenius also is very Sameer-esque!
"Always an angel never a god"
🥲
I think the last lines are rather apt also-
I don't know why I am the way I am There's something in the static I think I've been having revelations Coming to in the front seat, nearly empty Skip the exit to our old street and go home Go home alone

Hi author!! This lyric/whole ass song makes me think of Sameer, so I wanted to share :)
Do I just end up losing my footing? But I don't wanna be your angel. Wanna see you cut off a limb, nobody wins if I kill you. Would I have to forgive you still? Sterilize the thing you know, give it to somebody who's strong.
- Coming Clean
Searows
Oh my god. I have not heard this song before, but I just listened to it and it's painfully perfect. 😭
But is this coming clean Or am I kicking up dirt where I shouldn't? And what’s it gonna mean? I can't fix all the things that you couldn't

Sameer not wanting kids hurt me😩 is there a reason why he doesn't want them?
Also how would he handle an mc who does want kids?
Sorry. It's just not something he's personally interested in.
If he was getting into a more serious relationship with MC (or anyone), he would be pretty up front about the fact that he doesn't want kids. If this isn't something he and his partner are in agreement on, he would want to end the relationship to avoid any unnecessary resentment down the road.

Just dropping by to say i am in love with Sameer.
I always imagine my mc crushing on him, despite being an extrovert she is always nervous around him. Sameer wondering why she is acting so strange.
With that being said if its not too spoilery: How would Sameer react if he suspected that mc was crushing on him?
Hi, Anon! I'm glad you like (love) Sameer! 😊
How Sameer might react to an MC who he thinks has a crush on him would vary a bit depending on choices and on whether he has a crush on MC.
As I said in a previous ask, Sameer is most likely to have a crush on an MC that is idealistic-leaning, has a sense of humor, and has a 50% general relationship score or higher with him. If this is the case for your MC, it would be reasonable to imagine Sameer attempting to flirt a bit with them to see what would happen. (If your MC acted nervous/flustered/otherwise uncomfortable he would stop and wait for MC to come to him instead of initiating anything else himself.)
If your MC is more pragmatic and you've butted heads at all there, he would be wary of acknowledging any potential crush (on either side) at this point for fear of how things are going to go in the future for the two of you.
If you aren't really getting along with him at all but are still giving the impression that you have a crush on him, I think he'd just be confused and super uncomfortable. He definitely wouldn't say anything and he definitely wouldn't have a crush on MC back.

For those of us who want to be sameer's LI....how does he feel about mc rn. Does he have feelings (like my mc already does lol) or no.
That depends a lot on your choices! If you're more idealistic-leaning, have a sense of humor, and are getting along with him well, he may be developing a little bit of a crush, but he definitely doesn't have strong romantic feelings yet.
If you're more in the middle or aren't getting along at all, anything romantic isn't going to have occurred to him. Some middle-ground people may be able to change this in Act 5 when the first romance-specific choices come up. But if you have a general relationship score lower than 50%, you won't get those choices and won't be able to start the romance yet.

I literally can't wait for the romance between my mc and Sameer! It's like a forbidden romance. Loved the update, can't wait for more!
I'm glad you liked the update!! 😊💕
The first romance-specific choice for Sameer/MC will be in the next update, which won't be out for a bit, though hopefully it will be worth the wait!

Is there a reason for why the MC (and Sameer) have a specified/preset birthday?
Yes! It will trigger different events to happen at different times in the story. Not really directly related to the prophecy, if that's what you're wondering. It's mainly to do with relationships.
