It's funny cause my mind also went to Ailil Riatin when they mentioned Cairhien having a Queen, but it's also possible they just gender flipped Galladrin, especially since he's named but never actually appears in the books. I'd prefer Ailil because she's one of those characters that has a blink and you'll miss moment of awesome/fascinating characterization in Path of Daggers (plus a lesbian love affair with a Seafolk Windfinder) but I wouldn't mind the gender flip either.

As for Barthanes- I'm actually fascinated by the choice to make him Moiriane's nephew. The House Damodred family tree is one of those things that's never clarified so we never find out his exact relationship to Moiraine (or Caraline's for that matter) but this extrapolation makes sense and adds more delicious potential character drama.

Anvaere's son is going to marry the queen? Cairhien has a queen? What on earth have they done to house Damodred?
