Thinking about how a big constant theme here is Clark being a Neat && Tidy monster. Everything he does is methodical, it's clean, it's precise-—until it's not.

Thinking about how he can go from surgically removing bits of people and sending those pieces elsewhere or these like specific, tight things with his powers to just losing that semblance of balance and control when emotions come into play. Man will just explode anything of threat in his radius like a fucking potato in a microwave because someone he cared for was put in danger and it would just be an action first, thought later response. It'd be fueled by pure, intense emotion.

It's why he's so adamant about stifling what he feels and hiding it because he and his powers are sooooo emotionally loud and driven and he knows that and it scares him and that lack of control terrifies him.
