Jimin spotted her waiting outside the restaurant with a familiar look on her face — a look he knew meant trouble, and he braced himself to be berated for his tardiness.

He took off his dark sunglasses upon approaching her and tucked them into the collar of his shirt, giving her a sheepish wince of a smile as he pressed his palms together in a plead for mercy.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't find parking anywhere — I had to park three blocks down and jog" he pointed back behind him while chuckling, relaxing when she did the same and went to embrace him. He returned the hug warmly but chastely, not wishing to draw too much attention, opting instead to open the door for her and step out of the way.

"I've missed you too — life's been hectic hasn't it? I know that's not really an excuse," he gave her another apologetic look before following in behind her. "I hope you'll at least let me pay tonight to make it up to you," he spoke over her shoulder quietly before greeting the host with that easy smile of his.

"You're late."

Doyun stood outside the restaurant with her arms crossed and legs at an angle, giving the impression that she'd been waiting there for a long time and was coming off as frustrated. When in reality, she'd been standing there for about five minutes replying to some work emails on her phone. Deciding to let the mood hold for a few moments more, she smiled and laughed.

"Hi," she greeted them warmly, going in for a hug and a small squeeze. "I missed you. It feels like I haven't seen you in a long time. Why don't we visit each other more?" @star-paths
