False volcano

The skywings have been claiming the mountain near them has become a volcano. Saying that the nightwing volcano must have woken it up... highly doubtful to me, but when the tremors began the rumor grew more widespread... Which is why im now in this cave.

Toad stuffed the scroll back in his bag as the mountain shook again. He managed to pin pont the exact mountain the tremors were comming from. So far it was just a boring old mountain.

"You hear that? She says youll be released soon." The voice shouted with a nervous chuckle. Toad hesitated before following the voice.

"I... I was so worried she wouldnt believe me and she'd have me killed..." The voice continued as Toad curled around the dark stone corners. His thick mudwing scales scraping against them, the heat was rising. "Imagine what we can do once your out... Like we can go flying and hunting and and you gotta see some of the festivals!" the dragon stopped falling into a coughing fit.

The cave opened up... suffocating smoke filled the belly of the mountain. Chains scattered the walls all connected to somthing in the middle. It would shift and send a chorus of clangs echoing off the walls. Claw marks of varying sizes lined the walls among charred bones and ash.

Toad crept further out trying to see what was behind the smoke.... A dragon... a giant one...

He struggled to hold himself up from the weight of the chains. Anywhere he places his talons melted, even the mountain itself. He shifted toward the ant like form of the other dragon, a wing flew over toads head sending smoke swirling past. Toad bit his tongue to prevent himself from coughing.

"I cant wait..." His voice hissed. his tongue flicked out running it over his teeth "I need to stretch my wings and get this rope off..." his neck and wings were squished into the mountain. To toad this cave was giant but to him it was a cramped cage. "revenge will be sweet I promise you that little brother..."

The dragon below gave a whimper "I wish you wouldnt think of revenge. Let them ruin themselves... the war certainly isnt going in her favor.." The large dragon reared up, he slammed his wings and talons into the mountain. The treamors... it was him...

"Dont you DARE tell me what to do." He roared, another tremor, his jaws struggled against the rope "Once im free I will do what ive been wanting to do for CENTURIES..." The small dragon whined and whimpered apologies under him. The large dragon gave a sigh, rolling his eyes "but I also wish to hang out with you...I have plans but I do wish to catch up on our lost dragonet years..."

Toad had many questions. How could a dragon of his size stay hidden. How was he burning so much? Why dont his ropes or chains burn? but he was also terrified... he needed to leave. now.

Toad turned to escape but the large dragon moved his wing, it slammed into toad. Toad heaved as the wind left his lungs, he stumbled to catch himself in the air. The two whipped around to face the eavsdropper. Toad froze. It was like starring into the sun.

"Who whos that?" The small one yelped

The large dragon opened their mouth as much as they could with a hiss "An unlucky visitor..."

oh my gosh thank you so much for asking this anon because yes !! there are lots of micah birthday headcanons! and lots of angst !!

well . for one micah's family has never been well off so they could never afford much for birthdays (especially when the twins were born, and then when rosie was born)

after rosie was born (when micah was like 10) their mama got rlly sick and like a rlly bad immune system and stuff. thats around when their dad has to work all the time, he's barely ever home, micah starts taking care of the kids (im so fr micah basically raises rosie)

the christmas of 1966 (so a year before canon year) theres the sickness going around and stuff and but they wanna spend christmas with their mama so theyre being rlly careful. but they weren't careful enough because she got sick and she passes away shortly after like very beginning of january 1967

everyone is so caught up in the grief and funeral planning and stuff no one remembers micah's birthday or even thinks of it. micah certainly doesn't. when he does remember like days afterwards he just feels sick. his mama just died his dad has fucked off to wheverver, his siblings are greiving and basically fully dependent on him . he doesn't want to celebrate or even think abt it

micah is such a mama's boy :( theres sooo much angst with this too. theres so much angst around micah and his parents and then his relationships with his siblings and their relationship with their parents.... augh

but yeah basically . micah does not like his birthday. it was right when his mom died, when his dad fully just fucked off, only providing a paycheck, he had to drop outta school, take care of his siblings. he does not like his birthday

so next year, his 18th birthday jan 1968, he does not tell charlie abt it like at all. rosie and the twins dont mention it either bc. they know how micah feels abt it and its right when their mom died...

they have such a normal morning, no one mentions anything. charlie only finds out later in the day at school through reggie. charlie's like Appalled that micah didn't say anything (as if charlie Also doesn't dislike his birth (i cant wait to yap abt how charlie feels abt his own birthday))

we. havent rlly figured out the timeline on if theyve started dating or not but . this is either like right after they start dating or right before. so either way. theyre very gay with each other lmao

micah "oh you snitches--" tommy "it was actually reg--" charlie immeditaly covered tommy's mouth and just smiled and shouted happy birthday

they do the whole thing, they sing and make micah blow out the candles and watch him open their gifts its so sweet

rosie made micah a rlly cute little card at school with a bunch of glitter and paint and hearts. its really bad but shes 7 so its adorable

theo gets him a book and is like "i know you don't got a lotta free time but... it's sci-fi we read in school... just thought you'd like it" and micah's actually so touched (he's such a science nerd at heart trust he hearts space)

charlie made micah some hand made painting with a bunch of little arts and crafty elements and micah's so touched. he's so flustered and at htis point he definitely knows how he feels about charlie so he's trying to pull himself together but godddddd he's so gay for charlie

that night after everyone's asleep, charlie's crashed on his couch, micah just stares around the aftermath of his tiny makeshift party, stares at rosie's card on the fridge, charlie's painting still in his hands, and he lets himself smile and be Happy

So! like i said my mental health got a bit better, my libido is back motherfuckers, theorically all should be way better! Welllll my libido did came back... but a biiiiiit too strong. As in insanely too strong, and it came back with a looooot of frustration build up, and a overflowed ego that I feel like I have to flex or else i'll re-despair over self confidence and go back to being dark cowede (and big shotout once again to the "close to cowede gang" @plaindanganplain and stoopid name cos during those 2 months i was half depressed half flirty over everything, and complained cooooonstantly. and now ? i'm half flirty half a total bitch, which is probably just as hard to deal with but the thing is im the fucking best so i dont care~) and with that frustration, came frustration conscerning this whole shebang of 1 person vs multiple (harem) once again, @makoto-naegi-stud-and-friends @plaindangan and even the good @carnyreborn if they have good memory know its a thing i always tried, because while im absolutely NOT into the whole alpha thing, i have a strong kink for feeling loved, and... look X aint the only person I had to do multiple person for even though i fucking HATE IT (heck even in my first RPS (without the erotic) back in da good ol days, i found myself planning those monster hunter type / scooby doo esque quests about solving a mystery then tracking what will be a good fun creative stuff to fight (it wasnt dnd, we didnt even really had rules, just a setup universe all our character evolved in, it was on skype and factually ive never been happier) and I had to develop all those side characters and keep track of everything only for a KEY ELEMENT given to 2 other players not being disponible because while the quest was going on those 2 decided to NOT play their part and literaly go in a private room to erp instead ? and for those who say "yeah but thats what a gm does" know i wasnt a gm. I helped create the plot and all but there was no real gm just a bunch of people co writting a cool fun story half stolen on kingdom hearts character because i'm a fucking fanboy. ) and this kinda stuff happened on repeat for other a year. and when i got into erp ? a gooood chunk of them was for absolute assholes who asked the world and gave minimum effort. So anyway i kinda became allergic to doing multiple chars, i hate it, when im super horny im down for anything, but even this i have NO FUN doing at all. BUT since i did sooooo many I developed a desire to be "the center" of those harems. and i already asked all of the affordmention goats to try one erp harem style with a character of my choice (no surprise if it was very often shuichi, kokichi sometime) annnnd well none of them really worked. for carny it was a time and disponibility issue. for plain, well it did kinda work but i ended up overcomplicating things and then I felt bad for it so i sabotaged it, and with the last one well, i jumped to an episodic 1 V 1 formula, cos since the plain accident i feel easily bad for overworking people. back on our subject : X. so what happens is, im back in the game, after 2 month of not responding to our last rp i respond, i try to make my answer fit all their kink especially cos, its at that point a 1 on 1. aaaand they say afterward that they dont want to continue it. OK im in the cowede isnt depressed anymore mood, so its annoying and frustrating cause i know that in Z point in time youll guilt trip me into making another new thing that will be even mooooore focus on X's because they dont want to continue our older stuff but dont want to create a new one but dont want to not have a harem. YES I WOULD LOVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT MALAYSIAN FOOD!! I would show u pics but um 🧍->🏃‍♂️💨. Ur gonna have to google it king LOL. The first day back my dad and I went out to a mamak stall (basically just a restaurant for malay-chinese-indian food), and I had roti canai (a type of flatbread with curry) and teh tarik, which I have missed dearly. I dont typically like normal english breakfast tea so getting to have authentic teh tarik was SO GOOD. Its so funny you say that about blackberries bc where i live we have them literally growing everywhere on the side of the road AKDNWKDNKWDN in the summer when they start putting out fruit one of my roommates will sometimes go out and just pick a bunch for the whole household, and they always taste SOOOOO much better than the store-bought ones. Im genuinely not sure how to describe the taste of blackberry other than like. Its very sweet but also very tart (i go for the slightly less ripe ones tbh bc i prefer tart things to super sweet) at the same time, and sorta pops in your mouth a little bit when you chew it. Honestly its one of my favorite fruits i would highly recommend them if you can find em anywhere!!!!

when i was a child my mother bought me the first percy jackson book and i read it like a starving dog devouring meat scraps from a mcdonalds dumpster. i then tried to check out the second book from my school library, but the librarian told me my mother had told her not to let me check it out. i was very confused and hurt, but quickly found out this was only because she was planning on buying me a hardcover box set of the entire series.

Ingrediences:

broccoli florets

jasmine rice

garlic powder

dried minced onion

kosher salt

soy sauce

teriyaki glaze

vegetable oil (or other oil of choice)

Steps For Proletariat Rice (no rice cooker available):

rice goes in pot water goes in rice. jasmine rice is softer than standard white rice so you dont need as much water. i think the article i read said to use 1 and 1/4 cups of water per 1 cup of rice, but i cant find that article again, and i estimate water amounts by eyeballing it based on how much rice im cooking and where the water comes up on my pinky finger. i could not begin to explain my methods, so please follow your heart, or a better recipe writer

start by bringing the contents of the pot to a boil without a lid

once the water is bubbling, change the heat to the lowest temperature and put a lid on that thang. monitor the rice because i dont have an accurate internal clock and dont know how long it takes for my rice to cook. all rice dishes are unique individuals and you have to meet them where theyre at

Steps For Delicious Broccoli:

put some oil in a frying pan. the amount of oil you use will determine the texture of the broccoli, less for crisper broc, more for soggier broc. follow the mouthfeel. experiment with it

broccoli goes in the oily frying pan

shake garlic powder, onion bits, and salt on those veggies. you want them FLAVORFUL so do not be shy. just watch out for the hubris (adding too much and becoming overwhelmed by garlic). mix your broc to disperse seasonings

fry those tasty morsels at medium-low heat, i usually go with about a 3 on my stove. LET THEM SIT. LET THEM REST. you want them to get a little itty bit charred for maximum yummy crunchiness. occasionally flip them around in the pan to allow other sides to become charred as well, or else theyll feel left out. once again follow the mouthfeel to decide when theyre ready. i dont generally put a lid over the broccoli as it fries because that results in them being steamed -> extra soggy texture

when i write something i tend to have a goal, or actually a specific moment or scene, i aim toward. for this specific scene in stepdad au i had this image of izuku surrounded by his sleeping children and talking about how he wants to protect his kids from becoming like their villainous sire so that they dont walk the same path as him. it was very clear in my head and i knew what i wanted but i have to build to get there.

i like nontraditional family unit as someone who grew up with both parents, divorced, and then raised by a single mother i have a lot of respect for the nontraditional family unit!! stepdad au is one of part of many of AUs that centered around that lol. i like that katsuki who literally been a bachelor most of his life suddenly stumbled his way into like a family and now he's juggling parenthood to these small tyrants and HE'S TRYING HIS BEST.

i think i talked about this before how im not a big fan of kidfics bc they dont really have much of personality and that they're more used as a tool to get the couple together rather their own char arc so for me it was really important that each of the numbers had a very distinct characteristics that you can pick them apart among the crowd. i wanted each kid bounce off e/o bc hey they're siblings should act like ones and have a storyline outside of bkdk's love story. so theres a lot of focus on the kids as much as bkdk's storyline bc izuku (and now katsuki also) world revolves around them. izuku put away his mate/husband to SAVE HIS KIDS!!

heroes comes in all shapes and sizes and not all heroes wear cape, ya know the quote but it's exactly what it is here. izuku's path didn't lead to ofa and becoming a hero but in his own way, even tho it seemingly small in the grand scheme of things, he put everything on the line to get his kids away from their villainous sire so they wont fall on the same dark path as him. he has no quirk and didnt have support from anyone for a long time but he planned this for many years just to finally put his husband away like idk that's fucking stone cold. izuku hid his true intentions and acted the part of the good spouse, the good omega, and kept producing kids and raising them for his mate but he was actually masterminding a plan to bring his husband down and escape with his kids like HE DID THAT!!! ON HIS OWN!!! how could ppl not admire that audacity, that fucking bravery????

even tho izuku did all that, he feels like it wasnt enough bc how long it took the plan to took shape like izuku didn't just come with this plan in a day and execute it within the same week or months. HE PLANNED THIS FOR YEARS AND YEARS and finally he got enough tools in his arsenal to pulled it off (evidences and waiting for his children to be old enough to carry it out). thats pretty badass but izuk doesnt see it that, its the duty of the parents to protect their kids and izuku think he's just doing what he must!!! but even then he wishes he didnt have to wait that long to carry them away from the abuse of their sires but for his plan to work he had to stay lowkey, underestimated, and the good spouse/omega so he had to watched his children suffered but he cant do much against it. it's a hard thing to watch and endure and izuku will always regret how he couldnt do much for them and i think even tho he managed to save his kids and put away his husband, it always live in him how he could HAVE DONE MORE (even tho unlikely). so when katsuki says something about thinking he's doing just fine in his eyes, it's someone ELSE not him that tell him hey, you're not such a terrible parent and izuku's guilt lessen just a lil.

izuku isnt the perfect parent but he's trying and katsuki definitely isnt made for parenting either but he's learning AND TOGETHER they're learning to be what the numbers need and this journey is what tied them together and fall in love even tho katsuki is like half way there already but god, izuku showing him that even with no quirks, izuku can do crazy shits for his children!!!!!!

so i call it ageswap because the initial concept stemmed from all the sibling pairs. klee albedo, jean barb, ayato ayaka, you get it. just... wouldnt it be cool to imagine... older sister klee, still very bomb-happy, and a baby bedo who somehow still has to make sure klee doesnt bomb all of mondstadt. though i would hope that now shes older shes a bit more sensible, but shes not human so i dont even know what age she should be. is albedo 500? (also imagine klee making bombs with baby amber. thats a role model)

anyway. i am assuming jean and barbs parents took 1 child each due to age (older -> knights) which means itd be knight barb deaconess jean. although, are they really fit for their jobs? sure you can def make a case for "theyre brought up differently" but thats not the point of this au. anyway i think neither of them would advance far in their field (well jean might but not as a deaconess) barbara wont have the kind of drive to be acting grand master (im not saying shes not like, determined or a hard worker, but she might not be as strict as she should be, perhaps. its hc land ok if she were acting grand master itd just be a roleswap) and jean isnt much about singing, she'd probably hold a high position within the church is all. itd be fun if she found kid!rosaria and adopted her into the church. though itd ALSO be fun if barbara found her instead, she'd be sooo warm... imagine mini knight rosaria lol.
