Why does MC have to have set personality of obedient puppet at the beginning? Raising someone to obey doesn't always work, may even have quite opposite effect - making them rebel against it.

With the options to later turn or not into a vampire or werewolf. Aaaand I'm contemplating and looking if there's a way to give MC some hidden magic (a mage class, if you will), but that's not set in stone yet.

Sawyer and MC being customizable means I will enjoy imagining the way they become accustomed to different body and health shapes like for example:

- short MC hating the fact Sawyer is taller, which meand they have to lean down to talk to people, they keep bumping into stuff they didn't worry about before, their clothing sizes are annoying because if you find something at the correct height, it might be too wide and baggy

- MC has bad eyesight but Sawyer doesn't so they are amazed at seeing all in HD but they also keep trying to push up glasses they don't wear now

- MC suddenly dealing with Sawyer's agent-related injuries and aches. "HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE I AM HURTING ALL OVER" "That's why they give us the good stuff"

- This is cyberpunk so either of them might have different modifications and they have to adjust to their existence or absence

I personally see MC as 36, the same as Ciaran, but anywhere from 35-38 would work as MC is at least a year younger than Killian.

Yes, they could have children, they are by all means a normal human with access to a vast amount of power.

But no, the child would inherit nothing. The powers are purely linked to how much aether a person gathered, but it’s not transmissible, unless actively given. Everyone is born with exactly one aether, o matter how much the parents have.

Yes 😁 They glow in the dark like cat’s — or most animals’ — eyes. It comes with their Umbrakinesis and it allows them to see better in the dark.

So what's the flavor text gonna be like? I understand that's the purpose of the stats, so I'm curious about what type of people we can be and how far your willing to expand/go into detail about it

Mainly MC can be Sweet (shy and a bit reserved), Charming (your average friendly neighbor) or Flirty (bold and unapologetic) when interacting with the contestants. But even on the shy path, I think MC needs to be at least a little bit adventurous to have joined a show like this. I for instance would never have the guts to be on a reality show no matter the theme 🤣 So that needs to be a set thing for MC. But these will be the 3 core MC personalities, in the way they ask questions and react to things.

The actual romance choices will be a bit separate though. Let's say RO asks MC for a kiss. MC can deny the, kiss their cheek or ask to be kissed only on the cheek or kiss/be kissed. These are not really related to the personality stat, but let's say you picked to kiss on the cheek and have Sweet as the highest stat -> MC will be bashful about it. If it's Charming, MC might make a light hearted joke and say the RO needs to work harder for a kiss next time. Flirty MC might trail their lips closer to ROs mouth, budling up some tension. These will be one-off choices, at least as I have them planned now (ofc it will be saved if you have actually kissed or not, but not specifically the way it was done in). But then maybe the RO says something flirty -> MC has the option to choose to be shy/ friendly/ flirty. It's a bit of a case by case thing, some options will have to trigger the stats, others will give you a more free reign on it. There's heart vs mind stat that is related more on how MC chooses their couple partner and other things related to winning challenges and the show - are they coupling for love, or do they think this person is the best option towards winning... are they doing x sexy thing because they want to, or because it will win them points. But even on the Mind path, MC needs to at least like the RO they couple up with.

Besides this, there will be several stat-less choices. For instance you can choose in the prologue for MC to not like the idea of cameras 24/7. This will just make MC notice them more sometimes, but I don't want to make a paranoid MC that is always focusing on the damn cameras :)) There are a few options to form opinions on the other contestants. And then ofc, the one-off choices in the challenges like Never have I ever, 2 truths and 1 lie, uncovered secrets. These might be brought up or not, but they'll be there mostly for flavor text. And ofc, every MC spicy encounter will be noted and probably brought up in one way or another - by the contestants or ROs, by the Host in the confessional booth, by the public in their messages/tweets in a later chapter, etc. I'm not sure how clear this is. It's not perfect, but I don't want to lock MC in any specific choice personality/ motivation wise. Let me know if this was not what you were asking about though :))

Yep! Sawyer and MC will be customizable from appearance to pronouns to personality. (Sawyer's personality is chosen in the prologue through choices and set for the rest of the game ^^)
