After watching The Starry Love and seeing the ending, I immediately wrote this. The drama was so good and the characters so well written but that ending was not it—the characters deserved so much better

I mean I don't know why Chaofeng ever expected Qingkui to stand aside quietly while he throws the world into chaos, but their diametrically opposed world views are going to be their biggest conflict. Qingkui was brought up with the idea that the world came first, even accepting the fact the she would likely become an immortal widow sooner rather than later. While Chaofeng's world before Qingkui came into it was himself and his mother.

Really been enjoying The Starry Love

Well, half of it. The Void Realm stuff has been interesting & full of great characters (I did not expect to like Wudai as much as I did, but he is King of the Himbos & I am here for it) an intriguing plot as the brothers vie for power, & actual chemistry between the couple, while the Heavenly Realm stuff... has not

Though Ye Tan has gotten much less childish & obnoxious in the last few episodes (I do love it when a character is down to fight god - or at least tell god to his face to go fuck himself), & she is off on a quest to restore her husband’s missing personality. So maybe they’ll eventually become a couple I actually give a fuck about ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

*screams* So Chaofeng and Tan finally re-met each other and he had to cobfess the truth to Kui, and then lied AGAIN to her about how he went to Assassin Hall to kill the second soul shard, because he's trying to get her to stay away from him for her safety, and meanwhile Tan has found and gotten TWO out of three soul shards of Youqin to fall in love with her, and YOU WANT ME TO BE FINE?
