i am.... in LOVE with ur reversed tgcf mu qing..... hes absolutely gorgeous!!!! stunning!!!!!! i think all characters u draw look extraordinarily pretty but mu qing??? wow. wow. amazing..... (admittedly though the thigh slits may or may not influence this somewhat..... the change of clothes for him was an incredible choice!!!!!!)

Haha thankyou! It makes me very happy you like his design! I had the sudden urge to draw Xie Lian’s starember dancer outfit into my reversed AU and mu qing was the closest target so I put the outfit on him 🤣❤️

none of my friends know tgcf but i must say somewhere so like im 10000% in love w/ donghualian but!!! the butterfly didnt land on xie lians finger in the teahouse!!! and also i feel like xie lian should have had a different outfit for the flashbacks like, keep the white but a more expensive design? idk what do u think

YEAH I totally agree with you!! On both of these points. I wonder why they didn’t let the butterfly land on xie lian finger? honestly I still liked the scene because the music was beautiful and the way everything goes quiet for a moment made it seem so uh magical idk. But I still wonder why they changed it.

I was also expecting xie lian to wear a different outfit in the flashback. It’s been said in the book that he has many expensive outfits and accessories. I actually really like the idea that xie lian will eventually go back to wearing fancy outfits like that. Like the only reason he stopped was that he fell into poverty and became depressed. But I’m guessing it was an animation issue.
