Sabecha things cuz I’m bored grrrrr

i mean honestly since it’s been almost two years since I’ve invented this ship it’s about time i spill the beans on my headcanons

homie they literally appeared together in Combat Arena X, Waste World and debatably Walk. Possibly in the Gameworks. They definitely met.

Honestly i see them starting as competitive frenemies in Combat Arena X and then during a heated fight they just make out one day they chill and chat and kiss under the moonlight.

Rebecha is 5’7” and Sado is 6’7”…it’s a whole foot of height difference. And yet. Rebecha is so strong that she can literally just scoop Sado and raise her above her head. It’s always funny to imagine- and- Sado sometimes, nonverbally, teases her by just bending over to her eye level- and and- other times Rebecha just, grabs her tie and pulls her into a kiss- A- 🤭

Since, yknow, Sado is a computer virus which pretty much paints her a criminal in Gameworks’ eyes, they at least try to keep their relationship secret. Especially from Irving. Only Wizarro knows. He’s Rebecha’s bestie. Anyways yea they’re like forbidden lovers and that’s where the angst comes in.

“Right person wrong time so much?” YEAH-

Sado may be a psychopath but has a soft spot for Rebecha, and Rebecha is probably the only person who’s not afraid of Sado and isn’t phased by her antics

also she doesn’t really care if Sado hurts someone unless they’re her friend (and then waste world comes around and Rebecha befriends Rust and Rocky and everything goes to shit)

Sado and Rebecha have this weird on-and-off relationship, both from some arguments and being assigned to different games.

tbh despite the fact that Rebecha hates her job she used to be a ��goody two-shoes’ until Sado’s rebellious attitude rubbed off on her.

they would be great partners in crime 🙏

Rebecha is pretty grumpy and doesn’t really know how to show affection meanwhile Sado easily cheers her up and mainly shows physical affection

surprisingly, Rebecha is the more protective one (she has self-worth issues and is afraid that Sado will get killed/deleted when caught), and Sado only protects Rebecha when she is in danger (she doesn’t want to seem clingy)

you know those animal relationship dynamics? Rebecha is a raccoon and Sado is a fucking possum

“Hates everyone except one person x Hated by everyone except one person”

the only way that Sado can fall asleep is to use Rebecha as a weight blanket.

Too much energy and annoying x No energy and annoyed with the iconic flavor of ‘OH FUCK THAT’S MY IDIOT’

theyre both ambiamorous. They dated Chandrelle until she left them for Lazarus LOL and Sado is still salty about it.

in conclusion, i have a weird taste in ships and they have their ups and downs and I love their flaws

Hex polycule (Bryce, Rust, Lazarus, Chandrelle) thoughts?????

*cracks knuckles* hcs time babey! All under the cut bc it's a long post

Lazarus and Chandrelle were obviously the first ones in the polycule to catch feelings since they've been friends the longest, liking each other during SoL but neither actually properly doing anything about it

Since Chandrelle and Bryce were at the inn the longest though, they had plenty of time to bond. Nothing romantic, but boredom led to them opening up to each other about a lot, both of them disguising it as just casual chatter when it's like "Yeah aha I punched my grandma while trying to punch Irving and now she's permanently injured" "Oh cool Irving tried to fucking murder me"

Rust is the third one to come to the inn, and Bryce is making plenty of attempts to talk to the poor guy, despite Rust being a huge weirdo. Chandrelle wanted to stay out of it, but Bryce kept insisting the three of them sit together to chat

Then when Lazarus finally comes along, things are. A little awkward between him and Chandrelle for a bit. Understandable, given what happened the last time they saw each other

Bryce has heard plenty about Lazarus though, and welcomes him with open arms, happily introducing himself. And once again, as the extrovert, Bryce has Lazarus sit with the trio

Though with things still weird with Laz and Chan, Bryce decides that it'd be best if Laz sits with Rust to keep him company, since neither Laz nor Rust have a super high social battery. So basically Bryce accidentally got all the seating arrangements set up bc adding on, FPP and SWK had no tables to sit at, only left with the bar

So Laz and Rust chat a bit when they're both feeling up for it. Rust can't remember much thanks to the mind control serum, and Lazarus has a lot of repressed memories thanks to trauma, so most chats are about simpler things. Favourite foods, fighting techniques, stuff like that. Rust ends up learning a lot about sword terminology

Post game, Laz and Chandrelle finally properly talk about everything that happened, since everyone can now go anywhere they please again. Small argument, but it's more of just Lazarus having no one else to get angry at now that Irving's dead

They kinda sorta awkwardly hug it out, but none of their prior hugs have been super duper comfortable anyways thanks to Chandrelle's people issues anyways, so it feels more like home than Lazarus would care to admit

Meanwhile, with the MC serum wearing off, Bryce is helping Rust with his Rocky issues. The bonding leads to Rust developing feelings, not that he's emotionally stable enough to acknowledge that nor act out on it

Bryce also does his best to bond more with Laz, having been curious about him for quite some time now. Laz is a bit confused by all the questions, but answers them the best to his ability.

Bryce pretty much starts setting up proper time for him to hang out with the three of them. He drags Chandrelle into cooking/baking with him ("Maybe it could help with your anger issues?" "I don't fucking have anger issues!"), he and Lazarus work out together (nothing intense or anything, just simple stuff), and basically just having a book club type thing with Rust (Which also leads to them figuring out that Rust very badly needs fuckin glasses)

Sometimes the hangouts overlap. Rust will help Bryce and Chandrelle cook, Lazarus will invite Chandrelle to work out with him and Bryce, and Lazarus will go sit with Bryce and Rust so he can read with them.

Lazarus accidentally tells Bryce and Rust during reading time that he's had a long-time crush on his best friend, which even an idiot could figure out is Chandrelle, and Bryce encourages him to go for it. Well then lazarus starts talking abt how he'd feel bad, because he doesnt wanna leave Bryce and Rust for Chandrelle

Which also serves as an accidental confession to the both of them

It takes a lot of talking about it, especially since Rust's still a bit emotionally stunted and Lazarus is very, very new to romance despite the long time crush, but it basically becomes a case of "Let's go kidnap Chandrelle into the newly formed polycule"

Chandrelle's a lil hesitant at first, being even more emotionally stunted than Rust, so they all agree to take it slowly. Small dates, like going out for walks or Bryce cooking everyone dinner, stuff like that. They slowly ease into more romantic stuff

It takes Rust and Chandrelle the longest out of everyone to start doing anything romantic, both from a lack of a close bond and also emotional constipation.

Bryce convinces them to hang out more, so they do. Rust gets to learn more about Chandrelle's magic, though he doesn't really understand it at all, no matter how many times Chandrelle explains it to him

Luckily, she's moronsexual. Exhibit A: Lazarus

They basically only end up properly getting together because they both start accidentally talking about emotional stuff without realizing. And it was like "...Ah okay guess we can kiss or whatever :/"

They take turns with who's on the outside and who's on the inside of cuddle piles. Though the most frequent order is Rust > Bryce > Lazarus > Chandrelle

Lazarus also isn't invited to help out in the kitchen. Hes mistaken salt for sugar and vice versa at least ten times each. He burnt an oven mitt by placing it directly on top of a hot stove ring. He accidentally knocked over a beer bottle right into a hot, greasy pan. He didn't take offence to being kicked out.

Chandrelle has made it her life mission to get Rust to shave. She's failing.

And finally, they all use a weighted blanket when they're cuddling. Rust likes the extra pressure because he got used to sleeping in heavy armour, Bryce just likes being warm, Lazarus has the neurodivergent crave to get his bones crushed, and Chandrelle needs to be kept down so she doesnt have a complex kick in and try to run off

Oh yeah ONE more addition:

are we as a fandom REALLY gonna portray Grimora as “funny crazy cool granny!!” And gloss over the fact she is MOST LIKELY A HIGHLY SUICIDAL/SUICIDAL CODED CHARACTER?!?

AND REGARDING THE HEX:

NO BITCHES have played the DAMNED “Beneath the Surface“ game I can TELL.

Lionel Snill is NOT a complete irredeemable jerkass!!! He was a kid who unwillingly got manipulated by Irving and GameFuna into ruining his life and committing atrocities upon his creations (which he DIDNT KNOW were sentient) under the promise of wealth, recognition, and fame. He REGRETTED deleting Reginald, and if he ever got a chance to meet his characters without them y’know, FUCKING MURDERING HIM, he would most likely, knowing the information given about him, BREAK DOWN SOBBING, HUGGING REGINALD AND SAYING “I’m sorry” OVER AND OVER!!!

Also: Chandrelle isnt a hero or anti-hero, her actions and motives make her a COMPLETE VILLAIN. In SoL, she threw ALL MORALS out the window (rather obvious considering she made a pact with the main villain/dark lord). If you remember the family portrait of Moji and his wife and son, you know that Chandrelle is directly responsible for a mother becoming a widow, and indirectly responsible for her son thinking his father was “weak” and getting himself killed in turn. (God DAMN do I think about a character that is only shown in a portrait a lot…) she destroyed an innocent woman’s family, and she was responsible for Lazarus getting drafted into Vicious Galaxy and possibly gaining PTSD. I bet you ANYTHING if Rust and Weasel Kid (a man who’s son was killed in front of him, and a kid who‘s father figure died early and without warning, respectively) knew what Chandrelle did to whoever Moji’s wife was, they would be PISSED BEYOND BELIEF. (Also I used to ship Chandrelle x Lazarus a lot until I realized that their relationship might end up splitting up in the end due to Chandrelle’s shitty attitude, and all the atrocities she committed which INCLUDED being responsible for an insanely heavy deal of Lazarus’ trauma.)

anyways I think the only characters the fandom get 100% right are just the side NPCs (angler, factory workers, mycologists, Rebecha) and also MAGS ISNT A COMPLETE BASTARD WHEN YOU COMPARE HIM TO P03 MY FUCKING GODDDD, YOU ALL IGNORE THE FACT THAT WHAT THE STUDENTS DID TO THEMSELVES COULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY FUCKING VOLUNTARY (ESPECIALLY GOOBERT AND PIKE) IT IS NOT CONFIRMED MAGNIFICUS FORCED THEM.

dont get me wrong I love the inscryption fandom but like. the way some people babify Lonely Wizard or G0lly or completely erase everything bad P03's done (while usually also judging the other scrybes. despite the fact that they're all not very good people, INCLUDING p03) is just. ugh.

like okay i can understand liking a character but you cant just make them fit into your honestly kinda boring "cute misunderstood cinnamon roll" trope

lonely wizard is an adult character, and he is LITERALLY seen twerking and winking in the credits of the kaycee's mod dlc. he is not innocent at all. he's not a minor.

I'm not judging ANYONE in this post btw I just think its kinda really weird how a lot of people for some reason force their favorite characters to fit their Perfect Innocent Little Guy tropes. anyways thanks for reading this post i guess

More Rebecha headcanons but this time it’s her relationships with basically everyone

um uh let’s start chronologically I think cuz it feels right for meh

So Rebecha and Super Weasel Kid never met, but Rebecha knows about him because of Walk, and SWK doesn’t even know she exists. HOWEVER. If they did meet, they would have this ‘wine aunt and prankster nephew’ dynamic like “yo can I borrow this dangerous thing for a prank?” “take it and leave me alone. (finally something interesting will happen)”

She met Mr. Squarell once in Secrets of Legendaria and they very much relate to each other.

Rebecha hates Irving with every pixel of her being. He hates her too. They can’t be in a single room together without beating the shit out of each other. Anyways that’s why she’s so rebellious and wants to get the fuck out of Gameworks/Gamefuna. Because the workplace is shit.

She gets along very well with Bryce, she listens to his stories from the Cooking Granny series and he taught her a few things about cooking/baking!

Wizarro is her best friend. Bestest friend she ever had. She tells him everything from gossips to personal stuff and he’s always there for her if she needs comfort. He’s too pure for this world T-T oh and also they paint each other’s nails

also she didn’t really talk to the other fighters in Combat Arena X but she had this rivalry with Shinobee and Alley Gator-

Now about Sado…*inhale* so if you’ve known me long enough (or follow my other medias) you probably noticed that I basically invented Sabecha- you see- ITS COMPLICATED THEY HAVE POTENTIAL OK- THEYRE FRENEMIES AND LOVERS- AND- CALM X RECKLESS, REBEL X GOODY-TWO-SHOES, FORBIDDEN LOVE/STARCROSSED LOVEEERS, ON AND OFF RELATIONSHIP?? grumpy x silly. *slaps roof of car* This baby can fit so much angst. And fluff. Ofc. you can read my fics and know what I mean-

And while we’re talking about ships. Chandrelle. basically i headcanon that she was in a polycule with them 👉👈 but she broke up with them, mostly on good terms tho.

There’s Lazarus…she tolerates him. Lazarus doesn’t really know if she dislikes him or not because she always has that deadpan expression and mostly monotone voice so he chooses his words carefully around her. But she’s really chill.

Rebecha somehow befriended Jack, the Sphinx’s servant. They understand each other. And he teases her by calling her Rebecca on purpose. That’s pretty much it. Also Wizarro always shushes him whenever he’s about to say a curse word. Everyone actually. Just because.

Rebecha tried to flirt with the village girl once and only got a death stare in return.

talked to Jay once or twice and dipped.

she was the one that told baby Junior that his dad won’t come back and then he had to be hugged for an hour.

Rust is like a father figure to her. More or less. He gives her headpats. But Rocky is more like a nephew.

She pretends that Dustbowl Danny and The Vurm don’t exist. Take that as you will.

Rebecha views FPP as just acquaintances, but they view her as a friend. Rebecha tells stories or vents to them and FPP gets to do the same (in sign language). Both of them are glad that someone actually listens to them.

She’d find Catarina and she would tell Rebecha to “break up with that clown freak” and Rebecha wouldn’t give a shit

o yea she saw Jeremiah sneaking into the boat, she didn’t think much of it.

ok now Lionel Snill…her feelings about him are complicated. Like she knows that he probably has no idea that his characters are sentient and that Irving basically abuses them but at the same time she resents him. And then in Walk she just facepalms at hearing his story.

Sado def fits the whole bloodthirsty Tenakth vibe. Lionel n Carla are Old Ones. Rust,,,mm. Banuk or a Nora outcast maybe. El could be a Quen maybe? Maybe. Hmm. Dunno abt Reggie but Jeremiah maybe a Shadow Carja or Tenakth. Mmm. Gonna put some more thought into this. Oh but I can also see Chandrelle being Tenakth. Hmm. I’ll figure that out
