It's the season of sweet indulgence #pithepuli , and I couldn’t resist making these crispy Chandrapuli pithe today 😍. A winter-special delicacy, these fried dumplings are a staple for Makar Sankranti (Poush Sankranti) in my Bengali community and back home in Assam, they add a special touch to Bhogali Bihu celebrations too. Filled with a delicious mix of desiccated coconut and jaggery, they’re like a vegetarian (egg-less) version of empanadas. Perfectly festive, perfectly indulgent 😋.

Toy Rattles: What are some potential baby names you and your F/O picked out? What name or names did you decide on?

I don't remember the potential names but I do have the names we actually did pick out ! They're Nocciola, Aurora, Maaz, and Salman in that order!! (but 2 of them are AU kids so it's really just Aurora and Maaz) Aurora and Maaz also have middle names which are Chandrapuli and Amaretto respectively !

Bib: Is this your first child? If not, what do the other children think of their new sibling?

I'll say this is not my first child just because I have 4 kids with him but so I'll say this is my youngest, Salmam, all of his older siblings are very interested in seeing their little brother!! Especially Nocciola who is BIG on family and draws pictures of all of us all the time and now he can draw a lil baby on his mama's arms every time 💞 Aurora is just so curious about this new life!! she was there when Maaz was born so she knows the feeling but experiencing it a second time at a young age has her feeling some type of way 😂 this is the first time Maaz is seeing someone younger than him! He's so shy but fascinated... Nocciola is the good big brother who helps his mama and papa out a LOT during these times looking after his younger siblings while Pros and I are busy with the new baby 🥺💞

DOUGH BABIES; — OC Introduction

Intro;

Focaccia and Prosciutto's three children, all of whom they adore very much. From left to right, they're also oldest to youngest. Aurora, the first born and headstrong oldest sister, even if she denies it she takes after her father personality wise. Maaz, her younger brother, is much closer in personality to their mother. And the newest addition to the Hamily, Salman, is the young trouble maker who got both his parent's most charming and playful sides.

— Personality: Polite and obedient, he loves to read in silence and make his parents proud. Comes off as a lone wolf but he just has fun doing things on his own. He's indecisive about what he wants to be in the future and he does some art as a hobby.

Salman

— Full name: Salman Salami

— Birth year: 2015 (AU timeline)

— Age: 14 (AU timeline), (present)

— Personality: He's laid back and fun loving. Pranks are something he adores almost as a love language. He doesn't want to overthink anything and cruise through life simply. He loves music ad learned to play the electric guitar at a young age. His friends call him Sal Sal.

Mama: Looks up to her for being hardworking as a working mom and also spending time with her kids. She loves doing chores with her mother and reveres her wisdom

Papa: Clashes with him often due to their similar personalities. Both are too stubborn to let go of their own ideals. But they make it work and try to understand each other

Maaz: Her first younger sibling, she was very excited to meet him when told her mother was pregnant. They get along very well and have a great understanding for each other. But it's not uncommon to see them fight sometimes. They try to make up and get along.

Salman:

Maaz

Mama: His safe haven. He always loves telling her about anything and everything, she makes him feel as though he can truly come out of his quiet shell for once. He inherited her artistic hobbies.

Papa: His hero. He looks up to and wants to be just like him. He adopted a similar style and much of his confidence is instilled into him from his father

Salman

Mama: He's a mama's boy through and through, the most attached to her out of the three. She took a break from her job when he was born and could spend the most time with him as a result.

Papa: Plays the most pranks on him to get funny reactions and gets on his nerves by disobeying his rules. In reality he wants to make his father proud someday but he doesn't know how yet.
