The rock garden is situated in Sukhna Lake. It is also known as Nek Chand's Rock garden as It was formed by Nek Chand. Nek Chand was cultivating this Garden secretly in their spare time. They kept it hidden from the government for 18 years, till 1975.

Its range of recycled materials is astonishing, from old bricks, foundry waste, broken pots, pieces of tile, crockery, bangles and pebbles to oil drums, bakelite (plug covers), rags, bike frames, wire, rainwater, and human hair.

2. Pinjore Gardens

Pinjore garden is also known as Yadavindra garden situated in Pinjore 25km away from Chandigarh. Pinjore gardens were created by a Nawab under Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and expanded and reconstructed by Maharaja Yadavindra of the Patiala state. It is the most beautiful place to visit with family and friends.

3. Aqua Village Water Park Pinjore

Aqua village water park is the best and one of the most modern water park near Chandigarh, this park is situated in Pinjore, besides the Yadavindra gardens.

6. International Dolls Museum

International Dolls Museum was established in 1985, this museum is managed by Indian Council of Child Welfare. It is an entertainment hub for kids, It has an amusement park for children and toy trains, rather than its collection of beautiful dolls. As many as 300 different kinds of dolls collected from Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Korea, and Russia, are displayed in the museum, which is simply a visual delight for kids. International Dolls Museum is the major tourist attraction of the city.

7. Fun City

Fun City was established in 1995 which makes it the first ever amusement park in Chandigarh. Later Fun city also introduced a water park and that too was the first water park of Chandigarh.

The amusement park of Fun City Panchkula has got over 20 hydraulic rides, the water park has 6 landing pools, one activity pool, one sea wave pool and 17 different water slides of various shapes and sizes. Chattbir zoo is also known as the Mahendra Chaudhary Zoological Park, Chhatbir zoo is 17 km away from Chandigarh. This zoo is spread over 202 acres against a stunning green backdrop.

10. Chappar Chiri

Chappar Chiri village is situated in S.A.S Nagar, Punjab. The village is famous because it has the tallest victory tower (minar) in India named as Fateh Burj. The height of this minar is 328 ft, this minar(tower) is dedicated to the establishment of the Sikh rule in India in 1711. This is also known as Baba Banda Bahadur Singh War Memorial, named on the respected Sikh Warrior who won the battle against Wazir Khan.
