Brocedes :D (childhood friends, teammates, rivals, anything but a lover - crofty 2021)

OH COME ON. I will write an essay about their history. BUT ANYWAY, despite their toxic year in 2015/2016, I still adore how young nico and lewis friendship or whatever they had in Greece back then and I still keep this ship alive until the 2021 season. Their battle on the track was BEYOND TOXIC, yet their battle off the track (media drama) is HILLAARIOUS. How come Lewis accidentally spills out, the name that shouldn't be spoken for Half of DECADE. God both of them are dramas king. NICO PODCAST omg the talk with Alain prost and they compared his vs Senna battle with HIS AND Lewis's battle PLUS when Nico's storytelling his "friendship" history in ITALY at the SPONSOR EVENTS *CRIED* and lewis always mentioned how he loves ice cream and do cheating day in imola and monza BECAUSE IT WAS NICO WHO INTRODUCE THE FOOD THERE. ugh I hate and love them at the same time. (I do include some Seb/NICO too because I like see Lewis getting rilled up)

2. Kimi and Seb (I ADORE THIS A LOT)

my calm and serenity wise iconic ferrari couple. I feel like Kimi was the rock ice and water for Seb to prevent him from burnout because of ferrari. during 2017-2018, Seb pushed hard (same like Charles) and yet the car reliability fuck his championship standing. and kimi (--kimi was the last ferrari champion hiks) kimi just so attentive to seb and I genuinely like both of them being rebels to whole ferrari tradition (like they don't do rollercoaster thingy, they DON'T master Italian, they just become their self and being so comfortable in their own bubble, fuck world). I had noticed also Seb (and Gio) is the only teammate that can make Kimi laugh. I just super super adore them!

3. Maxiel (TRADITIONALSHIP! I REFUSE OTHER SHIP FOR MAX BESIDE DANIEL. I REFUSE!)

ugh should I explain them? THE CHAOTIC GAYEST ENERGY IN WHOLEEE 2016 GRIDS COME ON. I love how Daniel basically took young rookie Max under his arm and just had fun on and off the track with It? The biggest flop was when Max was just so hotheaded and they crashed in Baku. I thought their relationship gonna be stranded but GUESS WHAT? MAXIEL IS STILL ALIVE UNTIL NOW HELLO? and their relationship is so real not only for the camera but also out the camera. The other highlight moment is when Max is already 'too big' daniel really steps down from RBR because he knows, Max will outshine him, and he knows (what he learned from brocedes too) that it's better to go the other way.

4. Dando (COMFORT SHIIP Not romantically also)

I thought daniel was max soulmate but LANDO excuse me? They can share daniel If they want. i just love how lando becomes so silly and blushes like school teenager around Daniel. i love how they INFLUENCE each other. I think because I feel nostalgic with them because they really similar with Maxiel in 2017 era, just one season before Daniel goes to renault, Maxiel was strained on thin paper. Dando other hands, well Daniel mostly, struggled in McLaren (with the papaya fans also still adore Carlos that time and refuse to let go him) plus Lando was shining bright just like Max 2016. Again, daniel he stepped OUT (this time). I guess, that similarity made me miss maxiel too.

5. last one C2 (Charlos) gosh, please!! ultimate!!!

loving and adoring them was expected though. It wasn't because they're both handsome (I already know Carlos was goofy ever since his Renault era so I never consider him as a handsome man) BUT DANG BOY, RED ON CARLOS WAS SOMETHING ELSE? RED ON CARLOS, BLACK ON CARLOS WAS SAKDAJSKDFHLKJSAFHKJAF.

-- okay back to the c2. It was a slow build okay? I realized that they are special during Carlos's first podium, Monaco 2021. Charles WAS LIKE ME. Blushing giggling, shy gazes toward Carlos. they are so endearing. Both of them are the victims of the Ferrari team. But I think they both understand each burden (Charles being the predestinated one, and Carlos had to prove his talent bcs he is a two times world champion son) plus, the way Ferrari screwed Charles in 2019. The team was cracked but with Carlos, I didn't expect this cursed team is heal :"D (Crying) and Charles become more relaxed, more enjoyed, even his coping mechanism is with laughter and Carlos just matches his energy. Idk , they gave me... a relationship through ups and downs.

and I realized there are so many people trying to pit them against each other, their fans are constantly arguing about who is the best and better driver, always dragging one of them down, but guess what is Carlos and Charles's response? it's completely differs from real life. They knew and fucking see it their fans tension. Carlos's anger to the Spanish media has already proven enough he had enough of these things. Charles also said in an interview that "what he saw about him and Carlos is nowhere true". they are the best PR relationship couple out there, but I also can see a genuine, how they know each other so weell. How Charles kept the football game updated just because of Carlos, how Carlos knows his favorite food, how they had their own internal jokes,

they are both soo lowkey on the camera during and outside the race. and I think that Is why people never hype them like carlando or everyone's favorite childhood rival to lovers lesttapen. And I thought they didn't really hang out with each other that much but WHAT WAS THAT SUMMER BREAK? HUH? YOU IN MALORCA AND WENT TO SOUTHERN FRENCH? What were the matching Instagram feeds color and aesthetic at New York? WHAT WAS THE THING ABOUT PASTA CARBONARA UN LUNGA NON PENNE? WHAT WAS THAT THING CHARLES SLEPT ON THE FLOOR just to accompany Carlos watching World Cup? The dolomites? The Sardinia?

there are soo many thing that they keep it so low-profile and under camera, and yet their conversation is so domestic.

AFC Richmond Champions League 22/23 Season

Sooooo... I was talking about the Champions League with @fanficfanattic this afternoon and it reminded me that I needed to work out the draw scene for a later chapter of Have You Noticed. Original idea was to just take Liverpool's season as they came second in 21/22 but then at some point in the season AFC Richmond would have to play Liverpool. So then I decided to just bump everyone down, removing Tottenham from the UCL. But then that messes with the draw because AFC Richmond don't have same coefficient as Tottenham.

Instead I decided to spend the last half hour doing a fantasy UCL draw for that literal one chapter of fic. Posting it here in case anyone else wants to make use of it.

How the draw works!

32 teams qualify for the Champions League and I won't get into how you qualify here. These teams are then sorted into 4 pots. Pot 1 contains the: UCL winners and Europa League winners from the year before and the champions of England, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands. Pots 2-4 are decided on the club coefficient which is based on European fixtures over the last five years. Then each pot is worked through 1 by 1. Teams are drawn out of the pot and put in a group from A-H. 4 teams in each group.

However there are some rules that the draw must follow:

There cannot be two teams from the same country in the same group

If there is two teams from the same country they are paired up and must be in different halves of the draw. So 1 team in groups A-D and the other team in groups E-H

Teams are placed starting in group A through to group H as they are drawn unless there is a reason they can't go into that group or that group needs to be left free for all teams to follow the first two rules.

For this draw, AFC Richmond replaced Tottenham. Therefore are paired with Chelsea. However I am assuming they have not been in Europe in the last five years because they are referred to as being average pre-Ted. Therefore I'm putting them at the bottom of the co-efficient list.

FFXIV

Wilan Serulia

Wilan hails from a small island off the coast of La Noscea. The fisherman's life, however, never appealed to him, his gaze ever pointed beyond the horizon, his traveler's heart aching to explore the world. Fate had other plans for the fledgling adventurer, however. Hydaelyn chose Wilan as her Champion, her Warrior of Light, and he's been slowly buckling under the growing weight of the many responsibilties placed on his shoulders.

Delen Aldanea

Born in a Garlean-occupied Terncliff, Delen grew up under imperial dictatorship until Eorzea's champion killed Gaius van Baelsar in combat, when she managed to escape while the colonies under his command scrambled to re-establish order. After reaching the shores of Eorzea as a refugee, the Werlytian girl was taken in by the very same Warrior of Light who felled the Black Wolf, who gave her a place to stay. Free at last but still stuck in her traumas, in Limsa she would meet a friend who would slowly but surely help her move forward with her life and enjoy what her newfound freedom had to offer.

I've been playing TTRPG for, like, 15 years now. D&D 3.5, Pathfinder, DnD 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Fate RPG, and most recently Fabula Ultima. Over this decade and half I've created plenty of characters and, boy, I can't stop talking about them if you get me going. I have way too many OCs to list on a pinned post. Viria

Born from an affair between a desert elf and a human woman, the mixed-race child has been unwanted by her human family ever since she was born, her very presence an uncomfortable reminder of her mother's infidelity. She ran away from home in her teens, around the time she started to develop her magic powers from her elven bloodline, met a similarly outcast half-orc girl and turned to a life of delinquency for a while under the destructive influence of her companion. But in the end she came into her own thanks to her found family, who accepted her for who she was and taught her a better way to be herself, and she blossomed into a bright and cheerful young woman.

Hoshiko

Living a cyberpunk world where lovecraftian mythos were revealed to be real, Hoshiko Yukimura is a brilliant student of the University of Prague, enrolled in the faculty of Arcane Studies. Her natural pre-disposition for controlling magic made her a candidate for an elite corp of soldiers called Vakyries, and under the many pressures of the academy, society and her own family, Hoshiko caved, put aside anything she could consider childish or immature and dedicated herself to the pursuit of her studies. That is, until a botched ritual called an unknown creature into this world. The entity, inhabiting the cat-like construct intended to serve as a familiar, luckily seems to be benovelt toward Hoshiko, grants her a mysterious power, and is bringing chaos into the orderly girl's life, somehow pushing her toward healthier life choises in the process.

Nora

A woman from one of the many nomad tribes of Numeria, the robot-infested wasteland of Golarion. Nora's unique appearance, a tiefling resembling a Balor, with goat horns, red skins, and two leathery wings sprouting from her lower back, is the result of having being conceived in the neighbouring land of Sarkoris under the corrupting influence of the Worldwound, the colossal planar rift connecting the material world and the Abyss, plane of the Demons. Nevertheless, being but one freak among many, Nora became a formidable warrior and a capable mercenary. It was during a job for the Crusade where she witnessed (and barely survived) the might of the Storm King Khorramzadeh, lord among balors and master of electricity. The encounter awakened something in Nora, that once channeled manifested a whip of lightning and command over lightning, earning her the title of Daughter of the Storm.

Soooo,,, we have so much we wanna do.

We share a fanfiction that stretches across three (yes, THREE!) Pokemon fangames. These games are Reborn, Insurgence, and Uranium. It's a super duper edgy, angsty AU that's still in progress. Here's a WIP of Sable, our MC from Pokemon Insurgence :D Drawn by Vee!

Another project that we're working on is creating a fanmade pokemon universe. It'll feature original Fakemon, fanmade megas, regional forms, a new type, original characters, a (hopefully) detailed map, a crew of main villains, secondary villains, a somewhat coherent storyline, and a league complete with gym leaders, an E4, and a champion. It's not gonna become a real fangame anytime soon, just more so a story.

It's called Pokemon: Apocalypse, and it's based on the real-world region of Italy!

It'll have themes of internet cultures, horror movies, doomsday scenarios, and, of course, Mama Italia!

Provides a strong amount of resistance against magic based attacks. Has this naturally as a Lancer, but thanks to her Blessing of Athena, it increases further. Modern Mages would be completely unable to harm Diomedes with magecraft

Territory Creation: B-

The ability to create a territory. While Diomedes does not gain the benefits a Caster Class Servant would gain from the skill, she has a fairly high rank in it due to being credited with the founding of many cities along the Italian coast.

Personal Skills

Affection of the Goddess (Chosen Champion): C

Diomedes was frequently chosen as the champion of the goddess Athena, and received many boons from the goddess. A skill that increases Diomedes parameters and gives her flashes of inspiration in regards to tactical advice. 

Proof of Friendship: A

Once Diomedes and an opponent halted their fight entirely in the midst of a warzone simply based on their father’s friendship so they could exchange gifts. As a skill, it helps to suppress the enemy's fighting spirit so that a dialogue can be opened.

Simple Return: B-

Diomedes was one of the few Greek soldiers who got a peaceful journey back to their homelands following the Trojan War. However, their claim to their throne was contested and they ended up being exiled from Argos. A skill that increases Diomedes’ “Luck” stat and makes it so that she’s less likely to encounter obstacles outside of combat.

Classification: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm

A manifestation of when, with the help of Athena’s advice, Diomedes beat back both Aphrodite and Ares, in the midst of her shining moment of glory, her arestia. A spear throw of unstoppable power, it can pierce even gods - dealing extra damage to them, for a matter of a fact. However, while the spear throw’s power is unstoppable, its speed and lethality are not. An attack that’s useless to attempt to block, but can be dodged. The truly bold may even try and survive it head on.

That is not advisable. 

Personality

Affable and laid-back, Diomedes can best be described as "genuine". In contrast to her wily companion Odysseus, Diomedes is not often one for tricks or schemes. Underhanded tactics are fair game, to be sure, but Diomedes is not the type to scheme them up.

The inverse of the kinds of people who claim to be friends with everyone yet are secretly evil or hold distaste for those around them. Diomedes will pay lip service to the idea of disliking or hating someone or something, but her actions and words will betray the truth.

Has a tendency to get distracted by tall people.

Motive/Attitude Towards Master

Diomedes will retain a laid-back, but obedient attitude towards her master. She wouldn’t question her master’s methods, motives, or attitude, but she would question their effectiveness. Diomedes is willing to do any dirty job their master asks, but she’ll start interpreting orders loosely if she thinks a more efficient path is available.

Diomedes’ wish for the Grail is to have better kept in touch with her former comrades after the end of the Trojan War, as she parted on bad terms with most of them. Diomedes thinks she might have been able to help avert some of their misfortunes, like the death of Agamemnon or the troubles of Odysseus’ wife. However, she views this wish as a kind of pipe-dream, and does place too much stock in it. Ultimately, the reason Diomedes cannot force themselves to truly believe in this wish is because she believes it would conflict with her life in Italy, and she doesn’t regret that life.

Historical Depiction

Diomedes was the son of Tydeus, one of the heroes who made up the legendary Seven against Thebes, and Diomedes was one of the Epigoni, children of The Seven who fought against Thebes as revenge for their parents. Diomedes fought in this war when she was but a child. Some say that Diomedes was one of Helen of Troy’s suitors and thus swore an oath to defend Helen and Menelaus’ relationship, however, like Achilles, Diomedes was too young for this to be the case, and, like Achilles, sailed to Troy for personal reasons. As such, Diomedes got along with the hero, even if only on a casual level. She was much closer to the wily king of Ithaca, Odysseus - who she fought alongside and raided the camp of Trojan allies with.

King of Argos, Diomedes was hailed as the third greatest fighter among the Acheans, only surpassed by Achilles and Telamonian Ajax. During her shining moment, Diomedes drove the gods Ares and Aphrodite off the battlefield. Diomedes also helped Odysseus to steal the Palladium from Troy, where the divine object nearly turned Odysseus against Diomedes, but Diomedes repelled the attempt on her life.

After the Trojan War, Diomedes was betrayed by their wife Aegelia - who was compelled to do so by Aphrodite-, and was driven from Argos. They retired from fighting to a life of adventure and founding cities along the Italian Coast, reconciling with Aeneas and returning the Palladium to him.

Relationships

Odysseus: Diomedes' close friend and stalwart ally during the Trojan War, they seemingly parted on bad terms after the incident with The Palladium. However, Diomedes truthfully does not hold any ill will towards Odysseus, and excitedly goes back to treating him as a best friend upon reuniting in Chaldea. However, if she were to meet the Lostbelt Version of him, she would laugh and declare, “Perhaps I ought to show you how to make a proper attempt on your best friend’s life.” 

Achilles: One of the only two heroes in the Achaean Army stronger than Diomedes, one would expect the two to have a rivalry. However, they’re closer to work buddies than rivals. While not the closest comrades among the Achaeans, they get along well enough. Many of their interactions take the form of playful mockery or taunting. 

Hektor: Diomedes is incredibly intimidated by the Trojan Prince. While she talks about being able to defeat him if push came to shove, she balks at the idea of fighting him unless absolutely necessary. Diomedes acts on-guard and high strung around her former enemy, creating a contrast with Hektor’s laid-back demeanor.

Paris: Absolutely confused by Paris’ current state as a child. Other than that, she’s dismissive of the Trojan Prince, and while she will bring up his history of cowardice given the chance, she doesn’t go out of her way to antagonize him. In a sense, she views him as something akin to a lost, if misbehaved, child. Bartholomew Roberts: A kindred spirit, in a sense. If Diomedes could be convinced to adopt a certain hairstyle, it's a certainty that they would get along like a house on fire.

England

FIFA Ranking: 4

Reputation:

England is my favorite to win the World Cup. In 2022 they won the European Womens’ championship, cementing their position as a possible winner of the 2023 World Cup. Despite a few major injuries, the Lionesses are in fine form, and have a really solid core group of women with a good mix of veterans and young (but not inexperienced) talent. Their players mostly play at home in the FAWSL, possibly the best women's league in the world. The FAWSL also attracts international talents, so many of these players are already playing with and against their competitors, learning their styles and skills. Their coach Sarina Wiegman has a great record with England, and with the Netherlands in the 2019 World Cup where they made the final. 

Player Pool:

There are a couple veterans that deserve a call out, like defender Lucy Bronzeand midfielder Jordan Nobbs, but the energy and heart that makes this England squad different from past rosters comes in a group of younger players. Lauren Hemp, Alessia Russo, and Chloe Kelly will be playing in their first World Cup, and have been in outstanding form for their English clubs and at the international level. 

2019 WWC performance:

England did well in group play, led in scoring by Ellen White, who really came into her own this World Cup. They notably defeated previous runner up, Japan. They had perhaps the easiest path to the semifinals, taking on Cameroon and Norway. England was unlucky to come up against the USA in the semifinals instead of the finals, but they followed up their loss to the USA with a loss to Sweden, unlike 2015.

China

FIFA Ranking: 14

Reputation:

China used to be really good. Asia Games champions a couple times, deep runs into World Cups and olympics, but no Gold Medals.In the past, they have recruited top basketball, track, and volleyball players to play soccer in order to be faster and taller than their opponents. It’s an interesting strategy that hasn’t...not...worked. But it hasn’t really worked, either. They are showing an international comeback, including beating South Korea  in the 2022 Asian Cup Finals. They have kept up with teams close to them in rankings, but will struggle against any team in the top 10. 

Player Pool:

All of the players on the team except one  play in China, a league that I do not follow, but one player does play in the USA for Racing Louisville FC, Wang Shuang. Their team looks very different than the squad that represented China in 2019, so standout players are generally unpredictable. I would expect veteran forward Wang Shanshan and defender Lou Jiahui to feature in starting lineups.

2019 WWC performance:

China didn’t play horribly, but they weren’t the team seen in previous years either. They sneaked into the group stage after a loss to Germany by salvaging a tie against Spain. They were eliminated by dark horse Italy in the round of sixteen. In total, they only scored 1 goal in all four games, which means their defense maintained two shutouts and limited opponents’ goals quite well. 

Denmark

FIFA Ranking: 18

Reputation: 

If any group has the potential for a ranking upset, it is this one. Denmark, although ranked below China, has been testing their mettle against all of Europe, and have shown themselves to be a worthy inclusion to the World Cup. It is not their first, in fact it is their fourth World Cup, even though they haven’t qualified since 2007. They have been on the edge of qualifying for World Cups in the past couple years, and  now the expanded field of teams has allowed them back in the cloche, and I don’t see them wasting their opportunity. 

Player Pool:

The Denmark roster boasts players across all of the major leagues in Europe–England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Sweden. Captain Pernille Harder plays for Chelsea FC, one of the best of the best clubs in the world, and is the top all-time goalscorer in Danish football history. Forwards Mille Gejl Jensen and Rikke Madsen have found success at their American club, North Carolina Courage, in the 2023 summer season, which likely helped them onto the roster. 

2019 WWC performance:

Did not qualify

Haiti

FIFA Ranking: 55

Reputation: 

Haiti has never played in a world tournament, and their narrow qualification was a very proud moment for the entire country, and for the larger CONCACAF region. They will probably struggle against the other teams in their group, but it will be valuable experience for the players going forward.

Player Pool:

Melchie Dumorney, midfielder, won the CONCACAF qualifying young player of the tournament, and scored the two decisive goals against Chile to qualify for the World Cup. There are a few players that play college soccer in the USA, but the majority of them play for smaller clubs in France, which does give them experience playing european-style soccer.

Rock Ridge Country Club: Photo Essay Overview

Rock Ridge Country Club, located in Newtown, CT, is a private country club ideal for families which boasts several awards for best family country club in Fairfield County. It enjoys a convenient proximity to Brookfield, Bethel, Danbury, Easton, Monroe, New Milford, and Redding. This is where the majority of members live, some live in NYC and come up on weekends and others live just off the course. Initially the course was just three holes, it served as the weekend retreat of a notable New York City physician. Later, the property was acquired and transformed into Pine Tree Country Club. Shortly thereafter, the property was purchased by a group that included numerous founding members of the club. They maintained the club's signature pine tree logo and established Rock Ridge Country Club in 1954. 70 years later, Rock Ridge offers several different amenities as a country club, featuring a stellar nine-hole golf course, Har-Tru tennis courts, an L-shaped swimming pool, and recently constructed pool cabana and clubhouse. The clubhouse includes a charming outdoor patio and fire pit strung all with string lights in recent years, serving as the central gathering point for the club's social events during the summer months. This year Rock Ridge added a beautiful top of the art golf simulator, a putting green and an upgraded driving range.

The Head Pro at Rock Ridge is a PGA Pro named Brian Hussey and I had a quick talk with him and asked him a little more about the club and a more in depth look. We talked about the tournament structure at Rock Ridge. The Espresso Cup which is a long-standing tournament started by the original members of the club. This is a team event between the Italians vs the rest of the club, since about half of the original club population was from Italy. I personally have always watched this event and rooted on my dad and team USA, the men always dress up in their country's colors and spirit and play each other in a matchplay golf event. This event usually starts the year. 

The main three tournaments are the Club Championship, Member Guest and The Nassau. The Member Guest is our biggest money maker and where we hold our staff, members and guests to the highest standard, this is how they promote the club, find potential members and there is a huge payout for the winner. The formatting of the member guest is pretty self explanatory as members will bring a guest and compete in a two day tournament where they are arranged by skill level and ultimately play using handicap to determine a grand champion. I personally have also watched this event growing up, it has always been basically a giant party for Rock Ridge members and their guests.

Next, is Nassau, this is the big money tournament of the year. 18 teams of four, which are randomly drawn, play in an ABCD format. For those of you who don’t know golf, this is basically where the 18 best players are listed as A’s, the next best 18 players are B’s and so on until you get to the D category. This is the biggest buy-in for a tournament all year and the most money on the table, this is only open to Men’s Club members and this is typically the most competitive of the year. Each player doesn’t want to let down their team and this event typically has the most nerves because using handicap, each player is on an even playing field. This makes all teams just about even.  

The last is the club championship, which is a single elimination tournament with all members usually trying to qualify, there is no handicap. It is to find the 16 best players at the club and annually they will do a single elimination bracket until there is one left.

Ford V Ferrari is one of the most proclaimed films about the racing industry ever made. It’s emotionally moving and has you on the edge of your seat right from the racing through to the emotionally distressing dilemma’s that happen throughout the course of the movie.

Ford V Ferrari is about pride, and saving face. It’s about friendship and betrayal. It’s about getting your priorities straight and doing the deal with the devil. The ultimate novelty in this film is that the villain and the conquering heroes are one and the same.

The feud between the two starts with Henry Ford the II flying to Italy to meet Enzo Ferrari himself, to make a deal wherein Ford purchases the Ferrari brand. It turns ugly before it ever even starts. This event juxtaposes and contradicts the movie’s ending. As in the end, The feud dissipates into nothing. Ferrari sends him off with a final, painful message to Henry Ford II that ignites the fire. ‘He is not Henry Ford, he is Henry Ford the II’

With the painful insult received he is determined to craft a car that will beat the reigning champions of the iconic 24 hours of Le Mans. And Carroll Shelby is signed to enlist the help of Ken Miles, who is a burst of temperament and anger, full of ego, and is determined to win on his own accord.

The big race comes rolling right at their doorstep. The car is done. With Ken Miles being on the last stint of the 24 hours, he’s in the lead, way ahead but is asked to race side by side with the cars manufactured by Ford. This insinuates the corporal corruption Ken Miles wanted no part of. He agrees but is then fooled by the marketing and ego of the great Henry Ford. He loses his pace and time for the sake of Ford’s brand image.

Regardless, Ford is now one of the most distinguished names in car manufacturing. Although they are no longer race contenders, the historical feud and event between these two grand teams will forever be engraved in history.

Ford V Ferrari is a spectacular film that certainly deserves all the acclaimed praise. The passion felt through the movie is almost infectious, and it becomes a rewatchable spectacle. With motorsport and racing once again on the rise, Ford V Ferrari should be on everyone’s watchlist.

Mission King Of The Baggers, BellissiMoto Twins Cup And Mission Super Hooligan National Championship Classes Join The Daytona 200. MotoAmerica, North America’s premier motorcycle road racing series, has announced a total of 143 entries for the three classes that kick off the 2024 MotoAmerica Championship at Daytona International Speedway, March 7-9. The 82nd running of the Daytona 200 will feature 67 riders with 28 of those from outside the United States. The race can also boast of three past Daytona 200 winners (Josh Herrin, Brandon Paasch and Danny Eslick) on the 2024 entry list. But the Daytona 200 isn’t the only race happening at the Speedway as the Mission King Of The Baggers, BellissiMoto Twins Cup and Mission Super Hooligan National Championship will also be in action on the high banks at the “World Center Of Racing” for what will be the start of their championship seasons. The entry list for Mission King Of The Baggers is 16-riders strong, and it features defending class champion Hayden Gillim aboard his RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson as he battles against rivals Kyle Wyman and James Rispoli who represent Harley-Davidson Factory Racing. The other American Big Twin motorcycle company, Indian Motorcycle, are represented by Tyler O’Hara, who is teamed up this year with fellow S&S/Indian Challenger rider Troy Herfoss, a three-time Australian Superbike Champion who will be making his Daytona debut. It should be another close contest between the top two countries in the world, but with Hashimoto Daiki and “team’s MVP” Kaya Kazuma, Japan should be able to handle the competition and emerge victorious. With a young talented team led by Asher Hong and Fred Richard, the U.S. should have enough for the bronze medal, which would be their first team medal since 2014. Having already, qualified to the Paris, Great Britain’s Joe Fraser and Giarnni Regini Moran are skipping this event, but the team welcomes back three-time Olympic champion Max Whitlock, and will have some tumbling power on the squad by Jake Jarman and Harry Hepworth. Ukraine’s Oleg Verniaiev is back in action and along with Illia Kovtun, the team should manage to safely get one of the spots for Paris. European team champion, Italy, along with Korea and Turkey should also be a few of the countries that net an Olympic berth in Antwerp.
