Next up in my CLC album journey is their second Japanese mini album "Chamisma". A VERY upbeat, energetic, high pitched and cute album which I surprisingly really enjoyed. I especially liked the song "Chocolate Spice" 😁😍💖💝💓💞💗💘

august  schedule  self  -  para. where:  in  the  recording  studio  for  7rophy’s  japanese  comeback  ep. word  count:  427.

eunah  takes  it  as  a  vote  of  confidence  by  dimensions  that  they’re  allowing  7rophy  to  dip  their  toes  back  into  the  japanese  market.  to  put  it  frankly,  she  wouldn’t  be  surprised  if  people  see  their  ep  and  think  it’s  their  japanese  debut  .   .   .  the  korean  general  public  had  time  to  adjust,  in  their  own  slow  on  the  uptake  way,  to  7rophy’s  concept  yo -  yo  -  ing,  until  they  settled  on  girl  crush  and  finally  found  their  footing.  but  japan?  it’s  been  over  three  years  before  they’ve  had  any  kind  of  japanese  release,  and  chamisma  has  been  buried  deep  beneath  everything  else  in  their  discography  since  then,  and  she’s  pretty  sure  there’s  a  significant  amount  of  their  more  recent  fans  that  still  don’t  know  it  exists.

it’s  good  though,  she  knows  that,  that  they’re  returning  to  japan.  you  could  say  that  eunah’s  excited,  even.  she’s  not  able  to  believe  the  privilege  she’s  been  given  to  have  written  lyrics  for  one  of  the  new  b  -  sides  on  the  ep,  for  you.  at  the  start  of  this  year,  eunah’s  number  one  goal  was  to  have  lyric  writing  credits  on  just  one  7rophy  b  -  side.  now,  in  august,  she’s  got  multiple  credits  under  her  belt:  lyrics  and  composition  on  her  own  solo  portal  release,  lyrics,  composition  and  production  on  blow  your  mind  on  i  made,  more  work  on  kami  and  suji’s  upcoming  mini  -  albums  and  now,  for  you.  writing  lyrics  in  japanese  was  difficult,  which  is  why  during  the  process  she  leaned  heavily  on  her  co  -  writers,  and  contributed  more  to  the  composition  and  production.  eunah  always  gets  a  little  emotional  when  she  goes  into  the  recording  studio,  but  for  a  reason  she  can’t  put  her  finger  on,  she  ends  up  especially  choked  up  following  her  session  in  the  booth  for  for  you.

maybe,  just  maybe,  it’s  the  promise  of  their  attending  the  soribada  awards,  something  that  feels  even  more  unreal  than  releasing  music  for  foreign  markets.  eunah  isn’t  sure  that  any  of  it  is  real,  that  their  invite  to  the  show  isn’t  a  prank.  nominations,  wins,  and  even  just  the  invitation  mean  everything  to  eunah.  how  can  they  not?  every  booking  is  another  day  7rophy  spends  in  the  sun,  rather  than  locked  in  dimensions’  basement  until  their  contract  runs  out,  where  upon  dimensions  could  disband  them  quietly,  only  to  the  attention  of  what  few  fans  they  would  have  had.

it’s  a  new  month,  with  new  opportunities,  for  eunah  especially.  she’s  thankful,  she  swears  she’s  thankful.  that’s  what  those  tears  are,  right?  happy  tears.

The youngest member and visual of CLC, Eunbin participated in the reality competition show Produce 101.

Chong Ting Yan // Elkie

Elkie is a vocalist of CLC. Before she debuted with CLC, she was a member of Honey Bees, a Hong Kong girl group. She has one single as a solo artist, released in November of 2018.

Oh Seung Hee // Seunghee

The former leader of CLC, Seunghee is also the main vocalist of the group. She appeared in BTOB’s music videos for “2nd Confession” and “The Winter’s Tale.”

Chonnasorn Sajakul // Sorn

Sorn is the lead vocalist of CLC. Before CLC’s debut, Sorn won the first season of K-Pop Star Hunt.

Chang Seung Yeon // Seungyeon

The current leader of CLC, Seungyeon is the main dancer and a vocalist of CLC. She also appeared in BTOB’s music video for “Beep Beep.” She also posts monthly choreography videos on Cube’s official youtube channel.

Jang Yee Un // Yeeun

Yeeun is the main rapper of CLC. She made a cameo in BTOB’s “Beep Beep” music video.

Choi Yu Jin // Yujin

The lead dancer of CLC, Yujin is also a vocalist. She appeared in BTOB’s “Beep Beep” music video.
