#truth Posted @withregram • @newbornstateofmind There is not a parent out there that doesn’t experience the uncertainty, the screaming, the despair, the frustration, the guilt, the anguish, the mental and emotional exhaustion, the rage, the irritation, the stress, the overwhelm, the feeling unsure, the tears. Don’t think that because I (and all those other parents out there on these platforms) share lots of strategies, clinical research, advice and information that I have all of this worked out and together. To say parenting is hard is an understatement. There is often a new challenge to navigate daily; whether it be parental disagreements with your partner or other family members, sleeping, eating, emotions, connection seeking, boundaries, responsiveness, adjustments, changing family dynamics, communication, sibling rivalry to name just a few. I’m in it too. I get it wrong too, I lose my cool too. I feel overwhelmed too.
