Exploring Equipment Financing and Business Line of Credit Options for Startups in NYC, Florida, and Texas
Tumblr media
In today’s fast-paced business world, access to reliable financing options is essential for startups and small businesses to thrive. Equipment financing and business lines of credit are two popular solutions that empower entrepreneurs to secure the resources they need to grow. This article explores Equipment Financing for Startups Nyc and equipment finance loans in Florida and Texas, along with the benefits of working with a direct lender for a business line of credit.
Equipment Financing for Startups in NYC
New York City’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem is an ideal ground for startups in industries such as tech, healthcare, and retail. However, acquiring the necessary equipment to run a business often requires significant upfront capital, which can be challenging for new businesses.
Equipment financing allows startups to purchase or lease essential equipment without depleting their cash flow. This type of financing typically covers items like machinery, technology, vehicles, or other tools critical to operations. Startups in NYC can benefit from flexible repayment terms and lower initial costs, enabling them to scale efficiently.
Key advantages of equipment financing include:
Preserving cash flow: By spreading the cost of equipment over a period, businesses can manage their working capital more effectively.
Tax benefits: Many equipment financing agreements offer tax deductions under Section 179 of the IRS tax code.
Tailored solutions: Lenders often provide customized options to meet the specific needs of startups.
Equipment Finance Loan in Florida
Florida, with its booming tourism, agriculture, and tech industries, is a hotspot for entrepreneurs seeking Equipment Finance Loan Florida. This loan type enables businesses to acquire high-cost equipment without upfront payment, instead allowing them to make affordable monthly payments over a set term.
For businesses in Florida, equipment finance loans offer:
Faster approval processes: Many lenders provide quick approvals, giving startups the ability to act swiftly.
Ownership options: Unlike leasing, finance loans allow businesses to eventually own the equipment outright, providing long-term value.
Improved productivity: With the right tools in place, businesses can enhance operational efficiency and output.
Equipment Finance Loan in Texas
Texas, known for its thriving energy, construction, and technology sectors, presents immense opportunities for startups. Equipment Finance Loan Texas are a lifeline for businesses here looking to acquire the tools they need to compete in their respective industries.
From manufacturing equipment to heavy machinery, Texas-based startups benefit from competitive loan rates, flexible terms, and lender expertise in local industries. Working with a lender familiar with the Texas business landscape can also ensure personalized financing solutions.
Business Line of Credit with a Direct Lender
A Business Line of Credit Direct Lender is another essential financial tool for startups and small businesses. Unlike a traditional loan, a line of credit offers revolving credit that businesses can use as needed and repay over time, similar to a credit card.
The advantages of working with a direct lender for a business line of credit include:
Faster funding: Direct lenders typically offer quicker approvals compared to traditional banks.
Personalized service: Entrepreneurs can work directly with the lender to negotiate terms tailored to their business needs.
Flexible usage: Funds from a line of credit can be used for various purposes, from covering payroll to purchasing inventory or handling unexpected expenses.
Conclusion
Whether you’re a startup in NYC looking for equipment financing, or a small business in Florida or Texas in need of equipment finance loans, these financial solutions can provide the support needed to grow. Additionally, a business line of credit from a direct lender can offer flexibility and immediate access to funds, helping businesses manage cash flow effectively.

TOP 6 BEST NO CREDIT CHECK LOANS GUARANTEED APPROVAL WITH BAD CREDIT

Navigating Alternative Financing Options: A Guide from Houston McMiller, Credit Specialist
As a credit specialist, I understand the challenges many individuals face when it comes to managing their finances and accessing the necessary funds. If you're behind on your bills and the traditional lenders like banks and credit unions are unable to help, there are alternative options worth exploring. Let's dive into some fourth-tier lenders that may offer you a higher chance of approval, while keeping in mind the potential risks and higher interest rates associated with these lenders.
Tribal Lenders: Big Picture Loans
Tribal Lending: Big Picture Loans is a tribal lender, meaning they are not subject to the same regulations as traditional lenders. This can lead to higher interest rates, but they may be more willing to work with those with poor credit history.
Credit Reporting: These lenders typically pull from third-party credit bureaus, such as Clarity, DataX, and Factortrust, rather than the major bureaus like Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.
Eligibility: To qualify, you'll need an active checking account, a phone number, an email address, and be at least 18 years old. Those on disability or welfare may also be eligible.
Location-Based Lenders: Check 'n Go
Loan Amounts: Check 'n Go offers loans that vary based on your location. For example, the maximum online loan in Texas is $45, while the maximum in-store loan is $5,000.
Loan Types: Check 'n Go provides a range of loan options, including installment loans, title loans, and cash advances, depending on your state's regulations.
Diverse Lending Options: Advanced America
Loan Variety: Advanced America offers a variety of loan products, including installment loans, title loans, cash advances, and lines of credit, with availability varying by state.
State-Specific Offerings: The specific loan options and limits are determined by the state in which you reside.
Community-Focused Lending: Oportun
Community Development: Oportun is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) designed to provide loans to those who struggle to access traditional financing.
Loan Amounts: Oportun offers loans ranging from $300 to $10,000, with no impact on your credit when checking your eligibility.
Flexible Borrowing: If you're unable to secure the full $10,000 from a single lender, consider splitting your borrowing needs across multiple lenders to reach your desired amount.
Small-Dollar Loans: Spot Loans
Loan Amounts: Spot Loans provide small-dollar loans ranging from $300 to $800, with installment payment options.
Direct Lending: As a direct lender, Spot Loans offers a straightforward application process, without the hassle of dealing with intermediaries.
State Availability: Spot Loans operates in select states, so it's essential to check their coverage in your area.
Remember, while these alternative lenders may be more accessible, the interest rates associated with them are typically much higher than traditional financing options. If possible, consider exploring strategies to increase your take-home pay, such as filing for tax exemptions, before turning to these higher-cost loans.
If you require assistance with credit repair or accessing additional personal or business credit funding, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to guide you through the complexities of the credit landscape and help you find the best solutions for your financial needs.

Houston Residents Face Post-Flood Recovery Challenges Amidst Limited FEMA Assistance
Tumblr media
Thousands of Houston-area residents are grappling with the aftermath of severe flooding and the need for extensive repairs and financial support.
In the wake of devastating floods that have left many Houston-area residents displaced and their properties damaged, the road to recovery seems daunting. With limited FEMA assistance available, individuals and communities are navigating alternative avenues for financial and food assistance, as well as exploring insurance options. Despite recent changes to FEMA rules aimed at expediting aid, the challenges of post-flood recovery persist.
youtube
FEMA Assistance and Managing Expectations
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) offers crucial assistance to those affected by natural disasters. However, in the case of the recent floods in Houston, FEMA funds are not yet available. The state of Texas must first make a case to the federal government, providing evidence of the extent of the damage and the expected costs of repairs.
Once approved, residents will be able to apply for funds through the FEMA website or DisasterAssistance.gov. However, it is important to manage expectations, as FEMA Individual Assistance grants have a maximum limit of $75,000, with an average payout of only $2,400 per household during Hurricane Harvey.
Alternative Avenues for Financial and Food Assistance
While FEMA assistance may provide some relief, there are other avenues available for financial and food assistance. The U.S. Small Business Administration offers Home and Property Disaster Loans, allowing individuals to borrow up to $500,000 for home repairs and up to $100,000 for replacing personal property. However, certain restrictions apply, and the neighborhood must be declared a disaster area by the President or Governor Abbott.
For those in need of food assistance, the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides free meals to children and teens under the age of 18 at approved feeding sites. Additionally, the National Hunger Hotline can help individuals locate nearby food resources.
Insurance Help and the National Flood Insurance Program
The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) offers flood insurance to property owners and renters, even if they have previously filed a claim. To be eligible, the community must participate in the NFIP. Unlike FEMA assistance, flood insurance payments do not need to be repaid.
It is essential for individuals to assess their flood risk and explore flood insurance options. Contacting local providers or visiting the NFIP website can provide valuable information and guidance.
FEMA's New Rules to Streamline Assistance
In an effort to expedite aid and simplify the process for those in need, FEMA implemented new rules in March. These changes aim to address previous limitations and provide greater support to homeowners and disaster survivors.
Under the new rules, homeowners who have received insurance payments that fall short of covering all damages can now apply for FEMA assistance to make up the difference. Previously, FEMA could not help if the insurance payout exceeded the agency's assistance cap. Additionally, the requirement for disaster survivors to apply for a loan with the Small Business Administration before seeking FEMA assistance has been eliminated, streamlining the application process.
Furthermore, FEMA has introduced critical needs assistance, providing survivors with $750 for immediate necessities after a disaster. This category of aid is now automatically available whenever FEMA's individual assistance funding stream is activated, reducing the need for specific requests from states or tribal nations.
Additional Changes and Aid Categories
Disaster survivors with disabilities can now use FEMA funds to make their homes more accessible, expanding the agency's support beyond rebuilding damaged structures. Pre-existing issues in homes, such as leaky roofs, can also be addressed with FEMA assistance. Moreover, FEMA has introduced a new category called displacement assistance, which helps individuals find temporary housing while they search for long-term rentals.
The road to recovery for Houston residents affected by the recent floods is filled with challenges. While FEMA assistance offers some relief, the limited funds available and the need to meet specific criteria can leave many individuals seeking alternative avenues for financial and food assistance. The recent changes to FEMA rules aim to streamline the process and provide greater support, but the complexities of post-flood recovery persist.
It is crucial for affected individuals to explore all available options, including insurance programs and community resources, to navigate the path to rebuilding and regaining stability.

Unlocking Growth: Equipment Financing and Business Loans for Startups in Texas, NYC, and Florida
Tumblr media
Starting a business is an exciting venture, but it comes with its fair share of challenges, especially when it comes to securing the right funding. For startups looking to purchase essential equipment, maintain cash flow, or expand operations, options like equipment financing, business lines of credit, and equipment loans can provide the financial support they need. In states like Texas, New York City (NYC), and Florida, these funding options are vital tools for small businesses aiming to thrive in competitive markets.
Equipment Financing: A Lifeline for Startups
Equipment financing is a specialized loan designed to help businesses acquire machinery, technology, and other essential tools. Unlike traditional loans, equipment financing is secured by the equipment itself, making it an attractive option for startups with limited credit history or collateral.
For example, a startup construction firm in Texas can use equipment financing to purchase excavators, loaders, or other heavy machinery. Similarly, a tech startup in NYC can finance high-performance computers and servers without dipping into its operational budget. The key advantage of this type of loan is that it allows businesses to preserve their working capital while acquiring the tools needed to generate revenue.
Business Line of Credit in Texas: Flexible Financing
In Texas, a Business Line of Credit Texas offers entrepreneurs a flexible way to manage cash flow and cover unexpected expenses. Unlike a lump-sum loan, a line of credit gives startups access to a revolving credit limit, meaning they can withdraw funds as needed and only pay interest on the amount used.
This financing option is especially beneficial for businesses facing seasonal fluctuations, such as a retail startup in Austin preparing for holiday demand. With a line of credit, they can stock inventory, hire temporary staff, or cover marketing expenses without financial strain.
Business Equipment Loans in NYC: Supporting Innovation
New York City’s fast-paced and highly competitive business environment demands constant innovation. For startups in NYC, Business Equipment Loans Nyc can provide the funding needed to stay ahead of the curve. These loans are specifically tailored for purchasing or upgrading equipment, making them ideal for industries like manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality.
For example, a new restaurant in Manhattan might need state-of-the-art kitchen equipment to stand out in a crowded food scene. With a business equipment loan, they can finance high-end ovens, refrigerators, and other appliances without upfront costs.
Business Equipment Loans in Florida: Empowering Growth
Florida’s diverse economy offers opportunities for startups in various sectors, from tourism to agriculture. Business Equipment Loans Florida are designed to help entrepreneurs acquire the specialized tools and machinery required for their specific industries.
For instance, a landscaping startup in Orlando can use an equipment loan to purchase mowers, trucks, and irrigation systems. With affordable repayment plans and competitive interest rates, these loans enable businesses to grow without overextending their budgets.
Choosing the Right Financing Option
When exploring equipment financing, business lines of credit, or equipment loans, it’s essential for startups to compare lenders, interest rates, and repayment terms. Additionally, understanding each option’s eligibility requirements and tax benefits can help entrepreneurs make informed decisions.
Conclusion
Whether you’re launching a tech startup in NYC, a retail business in Texas, or a service-oriented venture in Florida, securing the right financing can make all the difference. Equipment financing, business lines of credit, and equipment loans provide the financial flexibility and support needed to overcome initial hurdles and achieve long-term success. Explore these options today to unlock the full potential of your startup!

Landlords look for an exit amid federal eviction moratorium (AP) When Ryan David bought three rental properties back in 2017, he expected the $1,000-a-month he was pocketing after expenses would be regular sources of income well into his retirement years. But then the pandemic hit and federal and state authorities imposed moratoriums on evictions. The unpaid rent began to mount. Then, just when he thought the worst was over, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced a new moratorium, lasting until Oct. 3. David, the father of a 2 1/2-year-old who is expecting another child, fears the $2,000 he’s owed in back rent will quickly climb to thousands more. The latest moratorium “was the final gut punch,” said the 39-year-old, adding that he now plans to sell the apartments. Most evictions for unpaid rent have been halted since the early days of the pandemic and there are now more than 15 million people living in households that owe as much as $20 billion in back rent, according to the Aspen Institute. A majority of single-family rental home owners have been impacted, according to a survey from the National Rental Home Council, and 50% say they have tenants who have missed rent during the pandemic. Landlords, big and small, are most angry about the moratoriums, which they consider illegal. Many believe some tenants could have paid rent, if not for the moratorium. And the $47 billion in federal rental assistance that was supposed to make landlords whole has been slow to materialize. By July, only $3 billion of the first tranche of $25 billion had been distributed.
Student loans (WSJ) The Biden administration announced it will wipe out $5.8 billion in student loans held by 323,000 people who are permanently disabled. This means the Education Department will discharge loans for borrowers with total and permanent disabilities per Social Security Administration records. Currently there is $1.6 trillion held in student loan debt, much of which could be eliminated through executive action.
New England preps for 1st hurricane in 30 years with Henri (AP) New Englanders bracing for their first direct hit by a hurricane in 30 years began hauling boats out of the water and taking other precautions Friday as Tropical Storm Henri barreled toward the Northeast coast. Henri was expected to intensify into a hurricane by Saturday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said. Impacts could be felt in New England states by Sunday, including on Cape Cod, which is teeming with tens of thousands of summer tourists. “This storm is extremely worrisome,” said Michael Finkelstein, police chief and emergency management director in East Lyme, Connecticut. “We haven’t been down this road in quite a while and there’s no doubt that we and the rest of New England would have some real difficulties with a direct hit from a hurricane.”
Booming Colo. town asks, ‘Where will water come from?’ (AP) “Go West, young man,″ Horace Greeley famously urged. The problem for the northern Colorado town that bears the 19th-century newspaper editor’s name: Too many people have heeded his advice. By the tens of thousands newcomers have been streaming into Greeley—so much so that the city and surrounding Weld County grew by more than 30% from 2010 to 2020, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, making it one of the fastest-growing regions in the country. And it’s not just Greeley. Figures released this month show that population growth continues unabated in the South and West, even as temperatures rise and droughts become more common. That in turn has set off a scramble of growing intensity in places like Greeley to find water for the current population, let alone those expected to arrive in coming years. “Everybody looks at the population growth and says, ‘Where is the water going to come from?’” [one local professor] said.
Everything’s Getting Bigger In Texas (AP, CNBC, Forbes) Texas has long been a popular destination for newcomers, thanks to cheaper land and housing, more job opportunities, lower taxes, and fewer regulations. There’s also the great weather, food, schools, and medical facilities, the abundant resources and year-round recreation and outdoor activities, artistic and cultural events, fairs, festivals, music venues, and the diverse and friendly people—you know, just to name a few. Texas has always been a business-friendly environment, which has certainly not been lost on tech and financial companies headquartered in strictly-regulated and high-priced states like California and New York. There are 237 corporate relocation and expansion projects in the works in Texas just since the pandemic hit. Tech giant Oracle moved its headquarters to Austin in late 2020; Tesla is building its new Gigafactory there, and Apple will have its second-largest campus there as well. Both Google and Facebook have satellite offices in Austin, and the file hosting services company Dropbox will be leaving San Francisco for Austin. Recently, the global real estate services firm CBRE and multinational financial services behemoth Charles Schwab moved their headquarters from California to the Dallas area. Hewlett Packard’s cofounders were two of the original grandfathers of Silicon Valley, who started their company in a Palo Alto garage in 1939. Now, the corporation is moving its headquarters from San Jose to Houston. And the number of mega-wealthy individuals who’ve moved to Texas are too numerous to mention. It’s not just big cities like Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio that are seeing an influx of people—bedroom communities are growing by leaps and bounds as well—places like New Braunfels, located in the Texas Hill Country, Conroe, 40 miles north of Houston, and McKinney, just 30 minutes up U.S. 75 from Dallas.
‘Bracing for the worst’ in Florida’s COVID-19 hot zone (AP) As quickly as one COVID patient is discharged, another waits for a bed in northeast Florida, the hot zone of the state’s latest surge. But the patients at Baptist Health’s five hospitals across Jacksonville are younger and getting sick from the virus faster than people did last summer. Baptist has over 500 COVID patients, more than twice the number they had at the peak of Florida’s July 2020 surge, and the onslaught isn’t letting up. Hospital officials are anxiously monitoring 10 forecast models, converting empty spaces, adding over 100 beds and “bracing for the worst,” said Dr. Timothy Groover, the hospitals’ interim chief medical officer.
Grace heads for a second hurricane hit on Mexican coast (AP) Hurricane Grace—temporarily knocked back to tropical storm force—headed Friday for a second landfall in Mexico, this time taking aim at the mainland’s Gulf coast after crashing through the country’s main tourist strip. The storm lost punch as it zipped across the Yucatan Peninsula, but it emerged late Thursday over the relatively warm Gulf of Mexico and was gaining energy. The U.S. National Hurricane Center said Grace’s winds were back up to 70 mph (110 kph) early Friday and were expected to soon regain hurricane force. It was centered about 265 miles (425 kilometers) east of Tuxpan and was heading west at 16 mph (26 kph). The forecast track would take it toward a coastal region of small fishing towns and beach resorts between Tuxpan and Veracruz, likely Friday night or early Saturday, then over a mountain range toward the heart of the country and the greater Mexico City region. Forecasters said it could drop 6 to 12 inches (15 to 30 centimeters) of rain, with more in a few isolated areas—bringing the threat of flash floods, mudslide and urban flooding.
“Self-determination 1, Human Rights 0” (Foreign Policy) Most Latin American governments offered little official support to the U.S. War in Afghanistan when it began in 2001. At the time, Venezuela put forward a blistering critique of meeting “terror with more terror,” and then-Cuban leader Fidel Castro said U.S. opponents’ irregular warfare abilities could draw out the conflict for 20 years. Over the weekend, as the Afghan government collapsed and chaos engulfed Kabul’s airport, today’s leaders of Cuba and Venezuela echoed their critiques while foreign ministers of other Latin American countries diplomatically issued statements of concern about Afghanistan’s humanitarian needs. Chile and Mexico made plans to accept Afghan refugees, and several countries signed on to a joint international statement protecting Afghan women’s rights. To many in Latin America’s diplomatic and foreign-policy communities, the dark events in Afghanistan confirmed the importance of the principle of non-interference in other countries’ internal affairs. The extended U.S. presence in Afghanistan was “the same mistake as always: trying to build democratic states through the use of force,” Colombian political scientist Sandra Guzmán wrote in El Tiempo. Many Latin Americans stressed that methods other than military interventions should be used to work toward human rights, even as they acknowledged how challenging it can be to make progress. “Self-determination 1, human rights 0 #Afghanistan,” tweeted Uruguayan political scientist Andrés Malamud after Kabul fell.
Afghanistan war unpopular amid chaotic pullout (AP) A significant majority of Americans doubt that the war in Afghanistan was worthwhile, even as the United States is more divided over President Joe Biden’s handling of foreign policy and national security, according to a poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. Roughly two-thirds said they did not think America’s longest war was worth fighting, the poll shows. Meanwhile, 47% approve of Biden’s management of international affairs, while 52% approve of Biden on national security. The poll was conducted Aug. 12-16 as the two-decade war in Afghanistan ended with the Taliban returning to power and capturing the capital of Kabul. Biden has faced bipartisan condemnation in Washington for sparking a humanitarian crisis by being ill-prepared for the speed of the Taliban’s advance.
The U.S. Blew Billions in Afghanistan (Bloomberg) The rapid collapse of Afghanistan’s government to the Taliban fueled fears of a humanitarian disaster, sparked a political crisis for President Joe Biden and caused scenes of desperation at Kabul’s airport. It’s also raised questions about what happened to more than $1 trillion the U.S. spent trying to bring peace and stability to a country wracked by decades of war. While most of that money went to the U.S. military, billions of dollars got wasted along the way, in some cases aggravating efforts to build ties with the Afghan people Americans meant to be helping. A special watchdog set up by Congress spent the past 13 years documenting the successes and failures of America’s efforts in Afghanistan. While wars are always wasteful, the misspent American funds stand out because the U.S. had 20 years to shift course.
Western groups desperate to save Afghan workers left behind (AP) The Italian charity Pangea helped tens of thousands of Afghan women become self-supporting in the last 20 years. Now, dozens of its staff in Afghanistan are in hiding with their families amid reports that Taliban are going door-to-door in search of citizens who worked with Westerners. Pangea founder Luca Lo Presti has asked that 30 Afghan charity workers and their families be included on Italian flights that have carried 500 people to safety this week, but the requests were flatly refused. On Thursday, the military coordinator told him: “Not today.” Dozens of flights already have brought hundreds of Western nationals and Afghan workers to safety in Europe since the Taliban captured the capital of Kabul. Those lucky enough to be rescued from feared reprisals have mostly been Afghans who worked directly with foreign missions, along with their families. European countries also have pledged to evacuate people at special risk from the Taliban—feminists, political activists and journalists—but it is unclear exactly where the line is being drawn and how many Afghan nationals Western nations will be able to evacuate.

Isolation update! I was planning on doing the prompt of "Sight" for @gumnut-logic challenge for the next chapter of the big fat fic (which I'm still gonna do) but this came out too. So I let the boys roll with it.
Day 76 of Isolation on Tracy Island
“Scott?”
“Hmm?”
“Do you know anything about this?” I held up my headphones, which had been previously missing for maybe the last eight months and that I had just found in the cutlery drawer.
“Yeah, they’re headphones.”
“Thank you Captain Obvious, I meant why are they in with the knives and forks?”
He shrugged. “Why are you asking me?”
“Because you were hiding socks around the place for over three weeks.”
“Only because it took you so long to give them back to me. I started after we watched Half Blood Prince, I thought it would make you laugh but you just kept ignoring them.”
“Oh, I’m so sorry I didn’t realise you needed to be freed!”
“Of course I did! I was your house elf!”
“House elves do chores! They don’t sit around being fed and demanding attention!”
“I’m a progressive house elf that is fighting for elf rights!”
“No you aren't, you’re a lazy bum!”
“Lazy? Me?”
“Yes, you!”
“I will never understand the conversations you two have,” John muttered as he pushed past us to fill his mug with the coffee I had just brewed.
“It’s affectionate arguing,” Scott laughed, sliding his mug over to John for a top up.
“So no one knows why my headphones have just suddenly turned up from wherever they vanished to and magicked themselves into the kitchen?”
“Nope,” Scott gave up waiting for John to pour him a drink and stole mine. I narrowed my eyes in his general direction. John slid a fresh cup over to me. Such a great guy.
“You know,” John mused. “I found one of my world geography books in the bathroom cupboard.”
“I found my utility knife in the piano stool,” Virgil added, wandering over to snag some toast that had just popped up.
“I just made that,” I told him.
“Thank you,” he continued to butter it. I stared at his plaid clad back for a few seconds but when he failed to burst into flames I gave up and dropped some more bread into the toaster.
“Now that I think about it,” Scott mused, “I found my guitar pick in the fruit bowl, the one that I got from that little shop in Texas. I thought I lost it for good years ago but it just appeared out of nowhere.”
“Something strange is going on,” Virgil declared. “If stuff we lost is returning there has to be a reason for it.”
“Parallel universe,” I answered confidently.
“I don’t think that's a thing,” Scott said gently.
“Apports then?” I offered.
“No, I don’t think...what’s an apport?” Virgil asked.
“An object conjured out of nothing by a ghost, obviously.”
“I don’t think this is the work of a ghost, love," John said, squeezing my shoulder as he passed by to take a seat. “There’s only one person that borrows things without asking and that’s Gordon.”
“That was going to be my next guess,” I admitted.
“Yet you went straight for ghosts and different universes?” Scott asked, clearly bemused.
“Well, maybe, just for once, I wanted something interesting to happen around here that I could actually deal with,” I huffed. “Sue me.”
“Only you could think ghosts and different realms were something that’s easy to deal with when you were the one that screamed and climbed me like a monkey because a crab ran over your foot on the beach last night,” John laughed.
“Crabs have pincers, any sane person would get away from one of them,” I pouted, reaching for some toast off Virgil’s plate. Honestly I don’t know why we don't just have communal plates in this house, no one seems to eat their own food.
“So what are we going to do about Gordon being a kleptomaniac?” I asked.
“We’ll deal with him after breakfast,” Scott decided, leaning over and biting the corner off my toast. See? No boundaries whatsoever.
***
The klepto in question was sneaking suspiciously around the lounge when we tracked him down and we caught him in the act of leaving a magnifying glass behind a book on the bookcase.
“Busted,” Scott yelled, making Gordon jump about a foot in the air.
“So it was you that’s been leaving our belongings scattered around the house,” Virgil sighed.
“Why are you doing this?” John asked, although his tone said he was debating the wiseness of even posing the question and was unsure he actually wanted an answer.
“Can’t a guy do something nice for his family?”
“He can when he’s not the one thats been stealing things in the first place,” I shot back, arms folded, foot tapping.
“I’m offended!” Gordon gasped dramatically. “A Tracy doesn’t steal unless its Virgil and a bell takes his fancy-”
“That was one time and it was an accident!”
“I may borrow things,” Gordon continued.
“For three years?” Scott snorted.
“I borrow on extended loan-”
“Without permission,” John added.
“But you always get them back eventually,” Gordon finished triumphantly. “I got bored and cleaned my room and it was like unearthing buried treasure. I may have forgotten that I borrowed a few things but you’ve got them back now, so no harm no foul.”
“Is that all you needed to return?” Virgil sighed.
“There might be a few other things scattered around,” Gordon admitted.
“Go and get them,” Scott ordered.
Gordon staggered in half an hour later weighed down by a massive box overflowing with his plundered loot.
“Seriously?” Scott gaped as the box thumped down on the table.
“All of that?” Virgil couldn't believe his eyes.
“Not surprised,” John muttered.
“How did you manage to borrow all that?” Alan asked in awe, having been summoned from his pit to claim any lost items that may have fallen into Gordons possession. “I’m not even allowed to borrow a pen.”
“It’s because he doesn’t bother asking,” John told him.
“That’s where I’ve been going wrong!”
Gordon shooty finger winked at him.
“No!” I yelped, intervening for the first time and grabbing Alan, pulling him into my arms. “Do not corrupt this precious bean.”
“Too...late,” Alan wheezed, trying to escape my python like grasp.
“Oh, sorry,” I let go and Alan took a dramatically deep breath.
“What’s in the box, Squid?” Scott asked.
Gordon tipped the box up and out tumbled a mass of things that shocked even me.
“That’s my baseball cap,” Scott snagged it.
“My gloves,” Virgil claimed them.
“That’s my camera,” John snatched it up. “I thought I left that behind on the beach and the sea took it.”
“Well, technically the sea’s representative did,” I giggled, then noticed something in the middle of the pile. “Why do you have my headscarf? You know that I use that when you guys force me to get in a boat, it makes me feel fancy.”
“Are those my sunglasses?”
“Yes, I broke mine and was going fishing.”
“Is that my lipstick?”
“Yeah, I used it to draw blood on my neck so I could be a zombie at halloween.”
“There’s my ocarina.”
“It was so weird I had to try it.”
“Is that my belt?”
“Yeah, remember that date I went on with Penny? It went really well with those navy pants.”
“I thought I lost that harmonica.”
“I was going through a depressed week and wanted to play the blues.”
“Is that my cologne?”
“Same date.”
“Why do you have my toothbrush?”
“I used it to clean the sand out of one of Four’s filters.”
“My playing cards!”
“Yeah, I wanted to learn card tricks.”
“My travel chess set!”
“Four of the pawns are missing now, sorry.”
“Seriously, my drill?”
“I wanted to put up a picture.”
“Why did you need my tie?”
“That's classified.”
“That’s my favorite pen.”
“Yeah, I’ve got no excuse for that, I used it, put it in my pocket and forgot about it.”
“Gordon, why do you have my flip flops?”
“Mine broke and your’s were nearest.”
An endless stream of lost objects had suddenly returned home and it was a tad overwhelming but along with his more recent acquisitions were items that hadn’t been seen in forever.
“I remember this game!” Alan exclaimed, grabbing the box. “John and I used to play it all the time when I was little. You had to be astronauts and fly through the meteor showers and land on different planets and fight aliens. It was great. We had the best scores, no one could beat us.”
“Actually, I had the best scores,” John corrected him.
“No way, it was a team effort, we played that together every night after I got home from school.”
Virgil chuckled.
“What?” Alan looked confused. “Why are you laughing?”
“I may have taken the batteries out of your controller and just let you think you were playing.” John admitted.
“What! That was one of my greatest achievements in life!”
“Alan, you went into space when you were thirteen,” John pointed out.
“Oh yeah!”
Virgil spotted a book and picked it up. “I haven’t seen this since we were little.”
“Oh, I remember that one,” Scott smiled. “Mom had it when she was small and she used to read it to us every thanksgiving.”
John was busy sifting through the pile. “Hey, my first star globe, why do you have this?”
“Remember when I used to get upset when Dad went away? Well you used to point out all the different stars to me on it and where the moon was near them.”
“Oh yeah,” John smiled, “I remember that, I let you borrow it to keep beside your bed so you could see where Dad was every night.”
“That’s my old teddy bear,” Scott smiled, picking it up and sitting it on his lap. “I left him with you when I went to college.”
“I know, I told you that I was too old to have a plushie in my room but you insisted. I passed him on to Alan and when we moved I guess he got packed up with my things.”
“That’s the children’s guitar that Mom taught us to play,” Virgil picked it up and strummed a few cords but the tuning was terrible.
“I’ve never seen that before,” Alan said quietly. “In fact, I don’t remember much of any of this stuff.” He gestured to the pile of things that still remained scattered on the table top. “I don’t know that pencil sharpener, that snow globe or those shell bracelets, I don’t know any of it.”
“Neither do I,” I reminded him, wrapping an arm around his shoulders.
“I don’t have any memories of them so they don’t mean anything to me.”
“But that’s what’s so great about things and why I keep telling your brother that not everything has to have a use all the time. Things are there to remind us of the good times, just the sight of them can conjure up images, but they are also there to encourage us to share those memories. I used to love looking through my Nan and Grandad’s cupboards because I discovered so many things that were interesting,” I told him. “I’d ask them about them and they would tell me where they got them or who they belonged to before they got them and it was so nice to see the joy that the memories brought them. Pick something and ask about them, let’s share memories.”
Slowly Alan reached out to touch the small pile of shell bracelets.
“Where did these come from?”
“We were on a trip to the beach,” Scott started.
“Gordon was running all over picking up little shells and bringing them back to Mom,” Virgil continued.
“She ended up with a huge pile of them,” John laughed. “But Gordon didn't want her to put them back.”
“She ended up asking Dad to drill a tiny hole through each of them and she made them into bracelets for us as a reminder of the vacation,” Scott picked up the story.
“We wore them for a few days but Gordon kept stealing them because he loved the shells,” Virgil added.
“I remember that,” Gordon smiled. “There’s a picture in the album of me wearing them all, I don’t look any older than five.”
Alan picked them up, rubbing one of the shells between thumb and finger. “Why are there five of them?”
“Because Mom was pregnant with you at the time and said that you were there too so you should have a bracelet,” Scott smiled, reaching over to take one. “This was mine.”
One by one the others each claimed a bracelet, leaving Alan with just one.
“You’re right, that’s a nice story to hear,” he admitted, slipping the bracelet over his hand.
“Hey, here’s an idea,” I suggested. “This has been a mad few months, how about we start a new memory box and in ten years time we’ll look back in it and remember the longest vacation ever.”
“Yeah,” Alan nodded. “That could be cool.”
The box slowly filled up with bits and pieces.
Here are some of them.
-Some of our finished colouring pages.
-Gordon’s tablet that hadn’t recovered from its unscheduled dip in the bath.
-Brains’s broken glasses and a broken piece of his microscope that fell off of Alan when we played human buckaroo
-A small pile of post-it’s which Scott had used on April fools day to label everything in the lounge.
-The rubber spider John had pranked me with.
-A pair of the bunny ears the boys wore to deliver Easter eggs.
-The empty bottle of ‘Chill Pills’ Scott got for his birthday.
-A selection of our pictionary artwork.
-The beauty blender Virgil ruined on Gordon’s face.
-An empty popcorn bag Alan found stuffed between the couch cushions from one of our many movie nights.
-One of Scott’s socks that hadn’t been found before.
-A gaudy necklace from our lip sync battle
-A clue list from our scavenger hunt
-A shell I picked up on the beach the day they taught me to surf.
-The evil Furby
-The purple wig we made John wear (he was very glad to donate it to the memory box)
“OK, so, we don’t take anything out but we can add more for as long as isolation goes on?” Alan confirmed.
“Yep,” I nodded. “Who’s going to be in charge of keeping it safe?”
“Gordon should,” Alan said. “Since he seems to be the keeper of everyone’s things.”
“Even without permission,” John muttered, tucking his pen into his pocket in case it went walkies again.
“Actually,” Gordon said, “I think Alan should look after it for us.”
“Really? You mean that?” Alan grinned.
“Sure, kiddo,” Scott agreed. “After all, they’re your memories too

Heather Cox Richardson:
December 8, 2020 (Tuesday)
Today is the “safe harbor” date by which state presidential votes that have been certified will go forward to Congress, where they must be counted. While Wisconsin’s votes are delayed by a late challenge, Biden has enough votes to win the Electoral College handily even without those ten electoral votes (which he should still win).
And yet, the lawsuits continue. Today the Texas attorney general, Ken Paxton, announced he would be filing a lawsuit before the Supreme Court alleging that electors from Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin cannot cast votes because their states changed their voting systems to allow mail-in ballots. He alleges that these changes, made to permit voting during a pandemic, skewed the election results.
Paxton’s complaint echoes those of Trump and his allies and has been widely interpreted as Paxton’s attempt to curry favor with the president. Paxton is being investigated by the FBI for using his office to benefit a political donor, and it is possible he hopes that Trump might intercede in his behalf. Experts say this case will go nowhere; Texas has no standing to complain about how other states count their votes.
Michigan’s Attorney General, Dana Nessel, issued a statement about the lawsuit, saying: “The Motion filed by the Texas Attorney General is a publicity stunt, not a serious legal pleading. The erosion of confidence in our democratic system isn’t attributable to the good people of Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia or Pennsylvania but rather to partisan officials, like Mr. Paxton, who place loyalty to a person over loyalty to their country. The Michigan issues raised in this complaint have already been thoroughly litigated and roundly rejected in both state and federal courts– by judges appointed from both political parties. Mr. Paxton’s actions are beneath the dignity of the office of Attorney General and the people of the great state of Texas.”
The Trump efforts continue to lose in court. Today, the Supreme Court rejected a request from Republicans in Pennsylvania to block the certification of the results in that state. The Supreme Court’s decision appeared to be unanimous, and likely signaled that the justices would like to stay away from Trump’s challenges to the election results.
Today, at his “vaccine summit,” Trump claimed credit for the “miracle” of the coronavirus vaccine and suggested that he, rather than the experts, had had a better sense of the timeline for its availability. In his remarks, he quickly veered to the election results, again insisting that he had won the election and urging Republicans at the state level or the Supreme Court to find the “courage to do what everybody in this country knows is right” and to award him a second term.
Meanwhile, the pandemic worsens. The U.S. just recorded a million new infections in five days, and today we marked more than 15 million infections. More than 285,000 of us have died of Covid-19.
There is confusion over the coronavirus vaccine. This morning we learned that the Trump administration is requiring states to share with federal registries the names, birthdates, ethnicities, and addresses of the people they vaccinate against the novel coronavirus. This requirement seems like a federal intrusion into a patient’s right to privacy, and another attempt to force states to gather information on undocumented Americans, which will almost certainly make them afraid to get the vaccine.
There is also a shortage of money for distribution. While the government has poured money into developing a vaccine, Congress has not appropriated any money for getting out the word about the vaccines, hiring people to give them, or making sure people get both of the shots they need. State officials estimate they will need $8.4 billion to distribute the vaccine.
Meanwhile, the economy is sagging and the country is desperate for a coronavirus relief bill. All sides have gritted their teeth and come together behind a $900 billion bill to provide support for the jobless, support hospitals and essential workers, and float loans to small businesses. But Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is refusing to bring that bill to a vote unless it stops all Covid-19 related lawsuits that allege injury or death because of corporate negligence.
As least he is now willing to talk about a package. This is likely because his control of the Senate could come down to the two runoff elections in Georgia, where voters want a relief package. In Georgia, Republicans David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler are being challenged by Democrats Jon Ossoff and the Reverend Raphael Warnock. Today Georgia Republicans began the process of restricting mail-in voting and getting rid of drop boxes for ballots. As journalist Ari Berman notes, Georgia Republicans wrote these laws and approved of them until the recent election, when Democrats and Black and Brown citizens began to take advantage of them. Now they are axing the laws that make it easier for people to vote.
The New York Times adds that Georgia’s third-largest county, Cobb County, dominated by Democrats, will have fewer than half of the early voting locations it had for the presidential election available for the Senate runoffs. Janine Eveler, the Cobb County director of elections, blamed the reductions on staffing shortages, but when fair vote groups offered to recruit volunteers, Eveler said there would not be time to train them.
Cooperation is not high on the Republicans’ list these days. Today, the Republicans on the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies refused to affirm that the committee should be preparing for Biden’s inauguration. McConnell, Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO) and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) effectively blocked what is usually a pro-forma vote to recognize the president-elect and to begin work on inauguration events. This feeds the false Republican narrative that Trump might still have a chance to overturn the election, but mostly it’s just another way to gum up the works, making even something like an inauguration, which is supposed to be a celebratory reaffirmation of our democracy, more work for Biden’s team than it ought to be.
Meanwhile, Biden has announced a three-part public strategy to combat the pandemic, pledging to require masks in federal buildings and interstate public transportation, to distribute at least 100 million vaccine shots, and to reopen most schools, all in his first 100 days.
He also continues to build out his cabinet, moving more quickly than his predecessors, at least in part to reassure Americans that he will hit the ground running after a long period when the country has been rudderless. Today Biden announced that he has tapped retired General Lloyd Austin III for Secretary of Defense.
Austin, who is 67, is a 41-year veteran of the army and headed the U.S. Central Command before he retired in 2016. Biden explained that Austin shares his desire to turn the leadership of foreign policy over to diplomats and development experts, using the military only as a last resort. Austin also oversaw the drawdown of 150,000 troops from Iraq, giving him the kind of logistical experience needed to distribute the coronavirus vaccine effectively. If confirmed, Austin will be the nation’s first African-American defense secretary.
But the nomination will require a waiver from both houses of Congress to overrule a law requiring that a military officer be out of the service for seven years before taking the post of defense secretary. This law is designed to emphasize that civilians are in charge of our military. Congress overrode the rule in 2017 for Trump’s first Secretary of Defense James Mattis, but lawmakers made it clear they did not want to make waivers a habit.
Biden has set up an interesting political problem. He is asking Congress to do for him what it did for Trump in 2017. This seems reasonable as a general proposition, but the supremacy of the civilian over the soldier in our government goes all the way back to George Washington. If members refuse either to provide a waiver for Austin or to confirm him, they will be in the position of voting against a highly qualified Black man about to break a barrier. If that occurs, popular anger will likely add momentum to Biden’s next pick, who could well be someone senators like less than they like Austin.
With the pandemic, the failing economy, and the Republicans’ unwillingness to recognize his presidency, Biden is facing an unprecedented crisis. But he definitely knows how Washington works.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell have apparently never walked down a Main Street in America. We make that statement because there is a huge disconnect between what’s really located on a typical Main Street and what’s in the bailout program they’ve designed and are calling the Main Street Lending Program (MSLP).
Americans need to sit up and pay attention to what’s going on here because the U.S. Treasury has committed $75 billion of taxpayers’ money to support this program under the illusion that it’s going to mom and pop operations on a typical Main Street in America. That initial $75 billion will be levered up to $750 billion under the Fed’s ability to create money out of thin air, with taxpayers eating the first $75 billion of losses. Once the loans are originated by a lender, they will then be bought up by a Fed-created Special Purpose Vehicle, thus removing bad loans from the balance sheets of banks like JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Citigroup and the like.  The banks will only have to retain 5 percent of the exposure.
We’ve walked down plenty of Main Streets in America: in West Virginia, downstate and upstate New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Florida and in ski towns from coast to coast. We’ve seen plenty of boutique gift shops, family-owned restaurants and ice cream parlors, hair and nail salons, sole-proprietor bake shops, and locally-owned breweries. What we’ve never seen on any of these streets is a shop or restaurant with “15,000 employees or up to $5 billion in annual revenue” or one that needed to refinance $200 million in debt. And yet, that describes businesses that will be able to apply for loans under the Fed’s “Main Street” Expanded Lending Program that has been approved by both Treasury Secretary Mnuchin and Fed Chair Powell.
You have to ask yourself this: if this was really about helping Main Street, why wouldn’t that $750 billion have simply been added to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) which is restricted to businesses with 500 or fewer employees – the Small Business Administration’s definition of a small business? The second round of funding to that program by Congress is likely to run out sometime this week. Just under half of all American workers are employed by a small business that has less than 500 workers according to the most recent government data.
The Fed changed the terms of its “Main Street” Lending Program on April 30 in ways that make clear that it’s not at all about rescuing small businesses on Main Street that have been shuttered as a result of mandated government action during the COVID-19 outbreak but is actually all about bailing out the failing debt of the fossil fuel industry and the big banks on Wall Street that hold that debt. Here, for example, is how the Fed describes one facet of the “Main Street” program called the Main Street Expanded Loan Facility (MSELF):
“Eligible Lenders increase (or ‘upsize’) an Eligible Borrower’s existing term loan or revolving credit facility. The upsized tranche is a four-year term loan ranging in size from $10 million to $200 million. The maximum size of a loan made in connection with the MSELF cannot exceed (i) 35% of the Eligible Borrower’s existing outstanding and undrawn available debt that is pari passu in priority with the Eligible Loan and equivalent in secured status (i.e., secured or unsecured); or (ii) when added to the Eligible Borrower’s existing outstanding and undrawn available debt, six times the Eligible Borrower’s adjusted 2019 EBITDA. At the time of upsizing and at all times thereafter, the upsized tranche must be senior to or pari passu with, in terms of priority and security, the Eligible Borrower’s other loans or debt instruments, other than mortgage debt. The features associated with tranches of loans that are upsized in connection with the MSELF (MSELF Upsized Tranches) are outlined in the MSELF term sheet.”
The Fed also explains that the above covenants would not prohibit a borrower “from refinancing maturing debt.” That means that a fossil fuel company could pay off their maturing debt held by JPMorgan Chase or another mega bank on Wall Street (see chart above) which is at a much higher interest rate and refinance it at a little over 3 percent interest under this program. Then the bank can sell that debt to the Special Purpose Vehicle set up by the Fed, keeping just a sliver of exposure on its balance sheet. It’s a win-win for the fossil fuels industry and Wall Street banks and a big loss to anyone who cares about their lungs, those of their children, or the survival of the planet.
Anticipating that the Fed would succumb to lobbying from the fossil fuels industry, on April 15 Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts and Congresswoman Nanette Diaz Barragán of California, together with 39 other House and Senate members, sent a letter to Mnuchin and Powell asking them to “ignore the pleas of big oil lobbyists” and “instead focus on supporting the workers and small businesses who truly need assistance due to the coronavirus public health emergency.”
The letter also made the following critical points about the fossil fuel industry and the current health crisis:
“In just the last two weeks, the Trump administration has used a combination of enforcement waivers, bargain basement oil and gas lease sales, and a rollback of fuel economy standards to transfer billions of dollars in value of natural resource and clean air benefits from the public to the fossil fuel industry. These actions are especially abhorrent during a pandemic whose burden falls heaviest on Americans with weakened respiratory systems…”
The nonprofit watchdog, Public Citizen, released the following statement by David Arkush, Managing Director of its Climate Program on April 30 when the Fed announced the cozy changes to its “Main Street” lending facility:
“The Federal Reserve today unveiled an expanded ‘Main Street’ business lending program that could allow failing, highly indebted oil and gas companies to borrow money at low rates. In doing so, the Fed heeded a call by U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) as well as fracking companies to make it easier for oil and gas companies to refinance their debts. The Fed’s new program rules drop an earlier restriction on refinances.
“The Fed should not be in the business of bailing out companies that were in terminal decline and suffering largely from their own misadventures well before the coronavirus pandemic. The fracking industry is notoriously overleveraged, and fracking gas is not even profitable.
“Rescuing fossil fuel production is absolutely the wrong direction for public health amid a global pandemic. Fossil fuel combustion produces air pollution that kills hundreds of thousands of Americans and millions more globally each year. The same pollution also substantially increases COVID-19 mortality. This is all without considering the cascade of public health and economic crises we face due to fossil-fuel-induced climate chaos.
“The U.S. should be working to phase out fossil fuels as swiftly as possible, not rescuing a toxic and reckless industry that is already in a terminal, albeit too slow, decline. The transition away from fossil fuels will require massive investments that will create millions of jobs. U.S. recovery spending that doesn’t directly target public health and blameless companies and workers should be aimed squarely at accelerating this transition, not stalling it.
“The real concern in the oil and gas industry is that workers are losing jobs, as they are in so many other sectors. The response here should be to rescue the workers and provide relief to state and local governments straining to meet the many challenges of this pandemic at the same time as their revenues decline sharply. It should not be to rescue reckless, polluting, humanity-endangering and often dishonest companies that were in plenty of trouble of their own making well before this pandemic began.”
That last sentence could just as easily apply to the Wall Street mega banks that are also being bailed out of their reckless loans and were also “in plenty of trouble of their own making well before this pandemic began.”

I own Chase, bought it with Donald and sold to the US Government for a mint. Jesse could got in on this deal but he wanted to challenge me instead.
So I asked Uncle Donald for a cash loan, how much he could afford and what was in his wallet. $4000 roughly. So we split it between his 4 kids (the 4th being me) and I gave him back $200 for the rest of the day.
And we returned to the bank and I asked him how to deposit the money into Chase Manhattan because Denise had bought me clothes but I wanted to be a fashion designer and had altered them So she threw them all away in a rage of jealousy and heat.
Of course i started to cry so we went back across the street to McDonald's and we talked. He said "i have a surprise for you, lets get to the bank"
So we walked alllllll around the building, up and down and he talked to a man and got us inside all the back rooms. He said "i wanna buy it!" And he turned to me and asked "would you like to invest your $800 into my bank as an investor?"
I said "what about my clothes! She said i had to return the money or else i get none!"
"But who did she spend the money on?"
"Me and my brothers and and her!"
"Well don't you think Its time to invest in you and your fashion?" He asked for my $800 i had to pull from 4 different pockets and my sock as he taught me to split to beat pick pocketers. And handed it all. He handed me back $200 and I handed it back then he handed me a $5 from his breast pocket and t told me to keep it.
And began to walk to the counter to buy the bank.
I chased after him and put it in his left cost pocket and told him, 'well you know you bought me lunch so you keep it"
I pulled it from his pocket to produce proof I had already given it and he couldn't give it back and then stuffed it back in deep, all the way i nearly ripped his shoulder off for which I promptly apologized, jumped on the counter and rubbed his soreness off and jumped down.
And he started to cry a little bashful at first then a full sob. And I tried to console him and Robby appeared with a trailing line of toilet paper so his silk hanky wouldn't be soiled with snot.
He thanked him and became startled and asked if he wanted in on the investment.
Robby said, "i might but i need to talk to you, I belong to this boarding school ran by this might be soon white bigger as he calls himself, inspired by her and taken completely out of context"
"Michael Jackson" interjected our new found Uncle Donald. "Come let's sit"
We moved to the side of the spacious lobby to a small table accompanied by two plus club chairs.
He and i talked about how neat it would be to have chaise chairs in Chase bank.
"Well, her mom is abusive, mostly about money so i would like to take control of her stock with her permission"
"Yes! I do! And i will wanna get married!" I jumped with my fist in the air and pushed against the chair like a standing push up and stood
....
"Her sit. First I would like to talk to you as an investor. I am run by the boarding house and they teach us things like to steal and bring back to get 'rewards' much often things less than they are worth like a stick of gum for $2 when I can get a whole pack for 20 cents. Uh oh, here he comes"
"Im about to invest into this bank with these two kids you got something you wanna say to me?" Instead of waiting for a reply, uncle Donald got up and briskly walked to the counter, asking to return to a different room, promptly and away from Mr Jackson whom was still solidly black (he doesn't have vitaligo its just bleached).
And we entered a nearly empty office and he turned fiercely, angry even, "this will be your office where you will WORK"
...
"Its okay! We are still friends!" I climbed into the chair then up onto the desk "this is where I will sit"
"Well close your legs and sit like a lady, like this hand me your foot, no don't take off your shoe"
"Well I didn't want to ruin you! Your suit is NICE!!"
And he moved my foot and crossed my ankles and patted my knee and said "or you cross at here"
I took my ankle to my knee "no not like that, that's like a man. Knee to knee"
"Oh like this?" I squeezed my knees together
Robby laughed and Uncle Donald looked flustered
"Oh i know I know cross at my knees, you need to explain better!" I patted his shoulder. In the 80s it was okay to touch, at least for a child.
"I said that first!"
"Oh! I interrupt!"
"No apologize" Robby groaned
"I apologize for interrupting"
"For?" Asked Donald "you can't tell her that Because ---"
"No he could I get misinformation that way"
"Except when I'm being scolded and she knows the truth" said Robby.
Tune in next week for another Miss Adventure of one Wild Single Mom's Childhood!
Tumblr media
I had 48 cents. Robby had put in 2500 front Hayes then 1500 each from Mark and Mike Andrews which he had not signed and they got rejected. Yet Jesse notified me of this, restricted my remote deposit privileges and now i am to notify the Sheriff of Hays County, Austin, Texas that the money is kept hidden in the tax and revenue accounts of his great county. And to open an investigation which he will pretend he did and then not. So i get his hush money as well as the other two and the $15B JP Dejoria stupidly just paid me because i Told Jesse to tell his father in law that Jesse is a stupid piece of shit which he didn't.
And of course I will invest in schools across the nation, installing playgrounds at any schools that do not have them, including intermediate, Jr high, middle, High and etc.. And may be finally lockers at least were I'm centrally located and/or where i want to be, namely at high schools at least.
Because that is what I want to do. Make people happy in the funniest ways possible.
And if there is any left I want to reinvest at the parks i originally invested in, initially, to make them better snd brighter, starting at the older to the newer.
I want the world to seem happier and brighter and in the case of schools at least around here once they hit 7th grade (middle school) they change schools to those that no longer have lockers or desks to put things in, 7 or more teachers to please instead of one or two they spend all day with, like a parent who gives love and kindness and retribution, they go through puberty which in itself is a chore. Then the kids riot. I've seen it in small schools and i know it happens in big ones. 20 in one week at the beginning of school less than a mile from my house where i can hear the school bell.
And so they need a place to sleep their weary heads like the shoulder of an old friend instead of weeping a soul they can no longer call their own.
The secrets i have included here broke my heart to where it actually stopped over and over.
Instead of asking what was wrong, Mr Moneybags Jesse sent me to the doctor alone. -.-
He could have provided me with what i needed like I provided and protected him from Ms Dejoria and Mark Hindberg, Afghanistan and Iraq, which I will no longer do.
He is the one that encouraged Michael Jackson to pickpocket the slaves he had created.
Yes Michael Jackson is Wacko, is Him and is burning in Hell because I killed him with my own pistol Jesse had stolen from a cop, altered and resold to himself at a cheaper price than the way over inflated price he created to create a deficit in his company to receive a refund from the US government's IRS Department in the amount of $8,000 instead of paying the $1M he owed.
I plead guilty before a judge and Uncle Donald, Mrs Katherine Jackson, the Anne my 4 year old daughter that Michael Jackson attempted to rape in front of me, as well as Robby, my true love and of course Sunny and Jesse James himself whom gave me the gun.
Then, before then President Barack Obama, i was exonerated and pardoned completely without the possibility of parole or any other misconceptions that would be included with self defense manslaughter.
This week total I have arrested a total of 19 men and women thanks to the CIA as an unpaid civilian.
That would guarantee me Presidentship of one really great country, now, wouldn't it?
Thanks. And not to be repeated: No more games. Only truth.
Until next time my fair weather friends!
Now! Let's grab the bookie!!! Snag! You're in jail. What did ya know, Mike Andrews, I knew all along that Mark Hindberg was FBI. Why didn't you think that?
Moving along, hi JP. How are you? No one cares. Good thing you trusted into your rapist daughter who was married to a true hero whom puts up with my shit even after we name him Mr Vomit cause I make him so scared he actually vomits like I did tonight (that's included. No more scare, only truth)
Oh yes, JP, you have already been arrested and so you know -- you have no guns with you, right? Alexis Dejoria is no rapist, she's actually an excellent FBI agent whom hates her dad and is included in any exonerations I may have to hand out butbat my leisurely pace, because she actually didn't rape anybody!
Also the US government will pay your wages as you did file a lawsuit this very week by signing up with Namus.gov like we all did.
She like me, was an unpaid civilian whom ran into luck. While she's smart, she's not smart like me. Thus she's the FBI vs me who is CIA and can work against the world in a millisecond as i usually do and have in Afghanistan and Iraq where i protected many NHRA members during their tours in the US Military while they served with Jesse James and my little brother and were even kidnapped thanks to Matt Hagan's temper tantrum and Jesse James refusal to listen to command. Eventually I saved them from that too in a day and 6 hours after leaving base. They were involuntary bound and gagged and beaten within 20 minutes of their capture. Within the next 20 when I was finally told of their status they were rescued by Tony Schumacher and his team.
And now i have saved the NHRA from being beaten and raped and tortured. My time to continue here at home is not wasted,
I love you all and thank you very much for listening...
And now i have something to say about Jesse since i made him puke from a lie via email Because he made me mad for being a Dick douchebag and not caring enough about me, not wrecking his motorcycle and then lying to make me feel bad and stupider than ever although I saw the wreck and my being a girl, up and President running, couldn't stop to rescue or assist a man on his feet whom had already picked up his bike after a wipe out and the trailer passed me up to show me he would assist because forgive those trespassers as we trespass ourselves and i care that he could really been hurt. That may be a fault of mine but it is called Grace and not salvation which is being my daughter reincarnated into a goat in Iraq to keep everyone safe because Jesse is a dumb dumb sometimes and Matt Hagan prefers truth over himself, sometimes. Like being in love with a goat of my daughter's soul, in Iraq. (I bet he fucked her, too. Bestiality freak. Not my business tho, nor yours. But still, let's laugh instead of poking fun at his misadventures. It is funny, yo!)
Jesse cared about the goat so much he listened to her over every one, even me. Because he believed she was closer to God where he needed to be..
I changed his life once in Alabama and several times then, over and over, any time that need be.
But finally for this one time he trusted somebody else and learned to love as much as he could, the soul inside of him.
So God bless to all of the two headed creatures we will see wandering around the backs of people at the NHRA in the future to come. Including even on me.
I'm Mrs Cougar cause of my fingernails and my desire to be with someone young to keep me fresh and Alive -- not by his blood byt by the life he gives me. And he will be Mr Snake the one who slithers up beside me only for love while I labor in the grass kicking myself for what i might have done but not for what i might have missed out on because I was there the whole time thinking and feeling and frolicking through the grass, same as me.
And of course my tattoo will be scary cause the world as I know it, very much can be.
And you can thank me for the past or you can think about the future and beyond!!!

Furthermore tax compose-offs are often welcome particularly at the instant of your calendar year. On the other hand, former in direction of changing your consideration towards refreshing credits, it genuinely is excellent in the direction of produce certainly on your own recognize the outdated types.
Quite a few of us want toward get hold of the optimum towards a point with no locating the IRS towards our entrance doorways. Take a look at the after for some publish-offs which could possibly be always misinterpreted however have earned your attention, and a several that oneself only should towards remain absent in opposition to completely.
Below at AIP we love that each individual and each individual patient trader is a uniquely challenging particular person. It’s our have faith in inside of this that consists of led us build a extensively acknowledged sophisticated expense philosophy. At AIP we consider that our methodology can dramatically strengthen the accomplishment of our particular clientele investments.
Glimpse at Those people:
1. Business drive Need to by yourself obtain it acceptable, business enterprise vacation might either only be an client Area where by combining business with entertaining frequently received't chip gone at your create-off.
Jeff Anderson, a spouse with an accounting organization in just Austin, Texas recognized as Padgett Stratemann, a minimal individual season absent is exactly not challenging toward just take out of your deductible drive rates. For case in point, he promotes purchasers in direction of preset their dwelling office environment conferences towards contain the weekend, (such as upon Monday, Friday and Thursday) hence your dinner and resort expenditures a lot more than the weekend could Quite very well be deductible.
Within accordance towards Anderson, if it’s not highly recommended toward healthy your desires toward fly household and back again, then the payments for that weekend are deductible.
Or, for these who it is not achievable towards fastened one more convention upon Monday, retain absent against all those people very-priced Friday night time season flights and get some "me" season instead, Anderson claims. He excess that if it is as nicely large-priced towards fly back again upon Friday, yourself may well continue being upon Saturday then fly upon Sunday, available that oneself can verify it is even more cost-effective towards extensive hence.
Despite the fact that oneself make investments 3 times participating in golfing with very good mates only just after a working day of conferences, the airfare for that trip (even though not the golfing selling prices) is however deductible for the reason that it is tied with the acquire the endeavor accomplished. Within just situation your partner incorporates oneself, her or his airfare is of course upon on your own, unless in a natural way if he or she consists of a component whilst in just the organization at the very same season.
2. Truthful dwelling places of work In accordance towards Anderson, his consumers are likely in the direction of be cautious of having a household-workplace deduction simply because it is supposed in direction of get hold of a crimson flag for tax audits. Upon the other hand, oneself’re entitled towards a deduction if it’s your main regional for office environment and it's utilized carefully for that intent. "The legal guidelines are distinct," he states.
It may be a trouble in direction of maximum property organization entrepreneurs in the direction of cordon off a variable of their family members as ‘the business’ and not open up it as a lot as any distinctive employ. Nevertheless ordinarily, "if your self meet up with the standards, by yourself will require towards assert it, for it will allow on your own in direction of compose down off a full great deal a lot more variables," which includes elements of the utility costs and lease or property finance loan.
3. Commence-up business charges In accordance in the direction of Stan Ginsberg, a partner within Fresh york with an accounting enterprise, Metis Community, although oneself get started out a fresh new business enterprise, highest create-offs are likely not towards just take outcome straight up until eventually on your own officially open up up for residence workplace. Nevertheless there's an exception, within form of company expenses, he states.
For 2010, business office organization homeowners can usually establish off practically $10,000 within selling prices which are expected in just forming a office business enterprise, together with putting up incorporation papers, marketing, vacation, personnel income and working out, and using an lawyer.
Deductions That can Offer you your self with a Inconvenience 1. Secondary places of work at your property If on your own will track down business enterprise homeowners that are entitled toward produce down off a household business office yet will not do therefore, there's moreover people who do that badly. Robin Bell, a associate with Brown Smith Wallace, an accounting enterprise in just St. Louis, claims a perfect package of proprietors receive it incorrect.
As a result of course of instance, they comprise an place of work long gone towards home exactly where they look at consumers and do the billing. Then within addition they contain a laptop at property (that's mainly a house personal computer) anyplace they might do analyze or test e-ship, hence that they generate an exertion in direction of produce off a household place of work. This isn't practically authorized as the property is not the major Room of enterprise and it is basically area towards employ the service of for specific positive causes.
2. Twin-employ applications Be mindful with what accountants make contact with ‘detailed solutions’ or people today techniques which can be utilized for every residence organization and unique features. This kind of may well either contain a Computer system in just your household workplace that oneself precisely in addition retain the services of towards perform video clip online games upon or your business engine automobile that serves which include a working experience in direction of your younger small children.
Bell states, enterprise homeowners who employ resources for each individual their tailored and company everyday living need to retain tabs upon the volume of it's made use of inside each individual. In just scenario your household business office seek the services of falls less than 50%, on your own may well buy rid of a issue (or all) in just the deduction.
Still holding keep track of upon your particular employ does not comprise in the direction of develop into an identical science. It exactly need to be more than enough a lot of toward rationalize that place of work hire. As an instance, utilizing a automobile, on your own'll be in a position in direction of retain the services of a calendar towards acquire focus of your times yourself commuted and frequented buyers, tallying them up towards the complete inside the 12 months.
3. Ingesting out The IRS used in direction of produce a big difference relating to food items and entertainment towards in good shape your requirements (as nicely as a customer), and foodstuff for all as a result of oneself each time touring upon business enterprise. Enjoyment and foodstuff are normally 50% deductible, no matter of no make any difference no matter if yourself are eating by yourself upon the street or that consists of a purchaser.
Ginsberg states, "Men and women are usually surprised by way of this and towards the prohibit upon offers." The limit upon deducting organization delivers is simply just $25, a very simple a person exclusive in direction of exceed. Thus anytime by yourself are regularly sending out fruit baskets toward purchasers upon holiday seasons or reaching cocktails after by yourself are out with consumers, preserve in just brain that a issue upon the really worth is relocating in the direction of be upon on your own.
