🔷Ancient Iranian Metal Arts. Two Copper ceremonial axe heads from Kerman, Khenaman cemetery, Late 3rd millennium, ca 2000 B.C., ceremonial or ritual axes in Iran are called Tabarzin, a word that before Safavid ere were given to a battle axe fastened to the sides of a war horse saddle. These copper-arsenic axe head are comparable to Bactrian/ Margianian, and Lorestan axe heads. Brutish museum.
