≡ AFTER A LONG DAY !! LUN8

(when you need to decompress after a long day ๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) : 150 - 250 words : fluff + established relationship + comfort : i love these guys sm, thinking about each of their reactions was kinda hard though. eight members. hope you enjoy anyways feedback is always appreciated!!

most days when you'd get home you would find jinsu on the couch waiting for you before he went on with his own nightly duties, sometimes staying up late just to make sure he'd see you walk in through the front door. on those days when you'd come in a bit later than usual, he'd meet you at the front door the moment he'd here the light jingle of your keys outside the door. he liked seeing the smile that would show up on your lips at the sight of him grabbing your bags, relieving you of that weight, knowing that he could make you smile despite your obvious exhaustion was reassuring.

you didn't ever have to do anything on days like that, not that you ever did in the first place, but he always made sure you had anything you needed so you didn't feel anymore unnecessary stress. he'd let you settle down in your room, while he'd prepare dinner for you. by the time you're done taking a warm shower, the aroma filled smell of a meal you had been subconsciously craving would settle in. you would eat to your heart's content and feel all the tension in your body from the long day ease out.

after all that you relax together in bed, his arms wrapped around you as you watch a movie caressing you gently into a deep slumber.

knowing how tasking your days can get chael is always a step ahead, he makes sure that at least once a month you're able to release all that pent up stress. even though it isn't a weekly relief he makes it worthwhile, booking a day for the both of you to spend at a spa. he always makes sure to book the full set so you can get the full treatment, massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, all for you to enjoy for a day. the spa intentionally happens to be a town away from yours, just so you can enjoy the inevitable sleep that comes with long drives.

on every other day when you're not at the spa resting every single muscle in your body, he doesn't just let you live with the built up tiredness from the day. he'll help you settle in taking care of you till you get in bed, preparing a mug with your favourite hot drink for you to drink. once you're in bed, he takes care on relieving your muscles for the time being, he somehow has the most skilled hands and you can feel yourself drifting off to sleep.

luckily for you he doesn't stop till your quiet snores fill the room, he tucks you in perfectly before placing a gentle kiss on your pursed lips.

takuma always tries to be as helpful as he can, so when he can tell you had a time during the day he's even more attentive to your needs. he lets you talk about your day to him freely, occasionally giving you a hum in agreement, trying his best to make you feel in confidence. you let him reassure you and listen to his advice on the issues you may have had. he's never too overbearing, just giving you the right amount of validation and gradually helping you get your mind off whatever was bothering you.

as you talk together, he makes sure to prepare you something to eat for the evening so you can rest well. you end up feeling a lot better after a meal, you stay together with him on the living room couch watching one of your comfort shows. you let him take off your makeup for you while you discuss the show together reminiscing about other times you had seen it.

after a while you fall asleep there on the couch, and he gets you a blanket, covers you up carefully trying not to wake you up.

the moment you walk in through the front door letting out a deep sigh junwoo knows not to bother you too much as he usually would, but it doesn’t stop him from teasing you just enough to get you smiling. along with his light jokes, like making fun of the way you pout your lips when you’re annoyed, he finds a way to help you with you even realizing most of the time. one second he’s teasing you from the noisy grumble coming from your stomach and the next he’s setting the table with a meal for you.

he tries his best to be subtle in the ways he intervenes so you don’t feel an overbearing feeling. despite the fact that you are dating, he knows that you like having your own space especially on long days so he helps in small useful ways, balancing it out with lighthearted teasing. most of the time he’s just keeping his eyes on you, staying attentive and at your disposal in case you might need his help.

you do things at your own pace with him, he’ll gladly be your pillow when your ready to sleep, holding you close as you fall asleep on his chest.

dohyun is just a big listener, so whenever you feel like venting he’s always ready hear what it is you have to say. it feels like a care free chat with a friend whenever you talk about your day to him. he manages to keep you grounded while being on your side at the same time. at times he’ll take you for a drive around the city after dark so you can enjoy the cool evening breeze while listening to music that suits your mood.

you usually end your drives at a nice car camping spot after grabbing a quick meal from a drive through restaurant. you rest in the car talking about anything and everything just to get your mind of the day that you had. he’ll make sure to make you laugh at least a few times before you fall asleep mid conversation.

he drives you back carefully, avoiding every bump on the road, just so you can enjoy your car nap. once you get home he helps you get ready for bed while you’re still half asleep, and gets you in bed for the rest of the night.

ian really just keeps a watchful eye on you, he doesn’t try to intervene in places you obviously might not need his help in. so he watches you as you go about your small end of day tasks, and gladly lends a helping hand when needed. it’s not like you need to audibly ask for his help, he just knows when it’s right to help. if you warm leftovers in the microwave to eat for dinner he’ll bring you the ice cream at the end of your meal, clearing the table in the same beat.

most of all he tries not to get in your way, but he’s supervising you because he understands you could value the space more than the possible mess that could come from him helping too much.

eunho is just the type to text you at least once when you’re out during the day, so he usually knows in advance if your day went well or not. in some ways he’s the ideal malewife, in the care he will put into taking care of you just to make you feel even the slightest bit better. he’ll make sure you get everything you need before you ask for it so even your lips are relaxed. if he senses you had even a bit of a bad day, he’ll make sure to prepare a warm bath for you. he’ll time it perfectly so when you get home, it’ll be the perfect temperature just waiting for you to get in.

he’s totally the type to want to feed you just so you don’t have to do it yourself, but he’ll only do it if you really want it. he’s extremely attentive to your needs, if it’s cold he’ll make sure to heat up the bedroom for you, get you a heating pack just incase. even with all this he doesn’t feel too overbearing because he somehow manages to set everything up without you noticing, so it just feels natural.

all the way to bed he makes sure to tuck you in, snuggling close to you as you fall asleep together.

with eunseop you don’t actually need him to do anything, some days just the thought of knowing that he’d be waiting for you when you got home would be enough to make all the exhaustion from the day to wash away. he makes sure to be there when you get home, ready at the door for the moment you step in with a warm welcoming smile. so once you open the door and see that sweet face you feel so much better no matter how your day went, it’s almost magical the way he can make your whole day do a 360° in just the way he looks at you.

it’s not until you feel his arms wrap around you in a hug that you genuinely feel the happiness settling in. there you find happiness in every thing and let go of all the troubles plaguing your mind before. he gives you gentle pats on your head as you rest there in his arms, wishing you could stay there forever. luckily for you he never really leaves your side, holding onto your hand as get out of the hug.

Chael and I are dating for 1,5 years now. He’s training a lot for his job as a fighter. I was still in school to get my degree. With both of us being so busy there isn’t a lot of time for us to do things together but today is one of those rare days we can spend the day together. We both went out for some lunch at the mall. “Did you know F/N is getting married.” Chael looked up from his sandwich. “Really?” I nodded as I took a bite from my sandwich. “Yep, she called me.” “That’s wonderful, I’m happy for her.” “Me too, she’s been waiting for ages for him to propose to her.” I took a sip from my soda as he nodded. “More news to share?” I shook my head. “No that’s it I guess.” He chuckles. “I broke a finger but you already know that.” He showed his broken finger. “Yeah that’s old news.” We both laughed.

We walked past some windows displayed with jewellery. “Look at these Chael.” I stopped and pointed at a silver bracelet. “You like that one?” “It’s cute yeah.” He grabbed my hand. “Let’s get you it then.” “No, Chael… please don’t.” “Baby why not, you like it.” “I don’t want you to spend your money on me.” He closed the distance between us and gently places his hand on my cheek. “Baby, I’ll do this for us, let me treat my girl.” His thumb softly traces my cheek. “Okay.” We both started to smile at each other. “Let’s get inside then.” He guided me into the store with him.

“Thank you again.” I sat down in the passenger seat. Chael smiles at me. “Baby, it’s fine. I wanted to treat you, don’t thank me.” “I’m sorry, is just…. I love it.” I looked at the bracelet that was around my wrist. His hand was resting on my thigh while he was driving us to his place. “I’m happy you like it.” He gently squeezed my thigh. “I really do like it, I love you Chael.” “I love you too baby.”

Later that day I shared a picture of the bracelet hanging on my wrist on social media. “Baby, come here.” Chael patted on his legs, I giggled and walked over, sitting down on his legs. “Don’t thank me for this.” He grabbed my wrist, pointing at the bracelet. “It’s my way to let you know I love you, I want to spend my money on you. Don’t thank me just love me.” I gave him a kiss. “I’ll always love you, I don’t care about the gifts, I only care about you Chael.” He smiles and kisses me deeply. “Your the one for me baby.” My hands went up to his hair. “I love you.” His hands are pulling me closer to him. “I love you baby, so fucking much.”

Daddy Yankee’s Legendaddy, Feid’s Intershibuya La Mafia, and Karol’s KG0516 were all named album of the year in their respective categories.
