ever come across a musician that you liked many years ago and completely forgot about? like 20 years ago my roommate liked dar williams, and i remember listening to her. i had completely forgotten she even existed. i was listening to another artist (stuart davis) that she had also recommended to me, and dar williams was listed as one of those other artists you might like sort of thing. they're not even similar artists except that she introduced me to both of them.

anyway, i don't think you're on tumblr much anymore, @chachatango, but if you ever are, this is obviously about you. And this bit from the song "february" kind of cracked me up a little:

Oh, I wish that were me. If only because you're several hours ahead of me. I'm eating lunch in my windowless office. After this, I'm going to play around with iSpring in Power Point, send meeting invites for next week's newbies, and then run out the clock on this Friday. (Cloudy here, too).
