Feeling super high and inspired from the past 25 hours of Shabbat with #ChabadTokyo. The Rabbi wasn’t there as he was helping in Kyoto, but we spent time with his wife and kids and all the people that came by for Friday night dinner. As you may know Chabad is open to all, free Shabbat lunch and dinner. We spent the entire weekend praying, telling stories, and meditating, and I’m feeling so inspired in so many ways. One story that stood out about the Rabbi and how incredible he is was when the big Tsunami of 2011 devastated big parts of Japan in the north over 20,000 people died and many more were left without places to live without food, the Rabbi loaded trucks from Tokyo full of food, drinks, clothes, blankets and gas every week over the course of 4 months helping all the people. No one asked him to do it, he saw people in pain and in need and he gave all he could of his time and resources, later the Prime Minister of Japan appointed him Chief Rabbi of Japan and presented him with a Japanese passport which is unheard of for a non Japanese person. I haven’t even met him yet, but through his kids and how incredible they are, I have already seen how amazing he must be. #onlyblessings #keepmewherethelightis #darkenergieswedonttouch (at Chabad of Tokyo בית חבד טוקיו) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxnVA1kl-BZ/?igshid=1mgkr9rqgt3bk
