We visited this hotspot of Indian/Bombay style light food/snack/chaat food place yesterday. My actual rating will be 4.5/5. Parking is easy and just in front. There are many food joints in the same row. Easy to locate. We were welcomed immediately and given a table which later changed , without any trouble. They are following all the hygienic procedures as recommended now. Both of went for combo deals ,which were coming with chaats of different parts of India. I had a Mango lassi which was just the right amount of thickness alongwith sweet taste with good quantity. My friend had a Lemon mint drink and again it was good. Our combo meals were A taste of India with full sized chaats from Kolkata Ghughni, Bangalore masala chaat, Bombay chaat and Delhi aloo tikki. At 49 dhs it may seem pricey but the quantity is also full sized for each of them. The Bangalore chaat was slightly spicy wih green chillis and the Bombay one was with puffed rice and slightly sweetish. The kolkata ghughni was exactly like the local made one . The next item was Chaat in a box with 7-8 types of tasting quantity of chaats from different parts of India and a drink and a Gulabjamun. We were too full to do proper justice for all of these. But the tastes were nice. The Pav was interesting as the Bread was hiding below the masala in this and the quantity was too much with a dollop of butter. It had papDi chat and ghughni, bhel and Dahivada too. All were delicious. You can take a tea or juice with it. They also have some special drinks like Blue lagoon and all. Finally we had a Panipuri at 9.5 dhs for 6 puri plate. It was quite nice and the puris were very big. The restaurant recommends to take it standing outside the chaat counter and take it hot and customised. They have many types of it but the ragda one is the most popular one, in typical Bombay style. The interiors were full of casual graffitis depicting Bombay life and street scenes with filmy dialogues. Service was very fast & good with patient elaboration of the items. Very polite and friendly.
