Has anybody noticed my obsessive compulsive avocado eating behavior? Lately it has reached the same heights than my obsession with Thai food. I could eat avocados every day, all day... mornings, lunch and dinner. Nothing I haven't tried before in this picture: braised endives, a veggie burger, and linguini with broccoli and avocado/ cashew cream. This is the second time I've used braised green cabbage in one of my food experiments and I have to say that it really adds taste without overpowering the rest of your food. Anyhow, this little experiment was everything I hoped for with the colder days coming up. Filling without being heavy, and colorful. Not to mention it's also quite pleasing for the meat eaters. So what do we have : a meaty veggie burger, braised cabbage, red rice, broccoli, a nori/ avocado sauce that gave it a hint of salty sea flavor, and pine-nuts for its wooden taste.
