timeline: university life, Gianna is in her early 20s and has been working as one of the Furies for a few years now.

When you're a winged spirit of vengeance, you often don't catch a break. Unless you've recently crawled back from Tartarus, that is. Then Alecto would grace you with a week off so your demigod brain could catch up to what you missed over the past month while you were regenerating.

Gianna knew that too well.

Sitting down at the Met steps, the daughter of Nyx cautiously scanned around the crowd in search for familiar faces.

"They should be here soon, right?" She said, picking at the holes of her mesh shirt.

The girl beside her nodded. Tanya stood up as she searched the crowd. Maybe her friend's werewolf powers worked better that way.

"At least that's what Georgie said last in the group chat. Maybe they just fought a monster along the way."

Gianna huffed a laugh. Usually, she was the monster along the way.

Squinting, she pointed at two familiar faces crossing the street. "That's them!"
