E: Are they the happiest they’ve ever been?

     Not even close. Also, there’s a high of -12F in Chicago today, so absolutely not. It’s too cold to feel any emotions at all. 

S: How do they tell someone they’re sorry?

     She learned a long time ago that actually saying sorry and then changing your actions to prove it are the best way to apologize.

T: How quick are they to cry?

     Stef is fairly open with her emotions, but is still a soldier at the end of all things and can turn them off on a dime. She cries in the privacy of her home, generally.

F: Have they ever had a one night stand?

     Yup. When you move duty stations frequently, it’s the easiest thing to do.

A: Who are their exes? Do they keep in touch?

     Yong Sun Pai. He was a Warrant Officer Pilot and Stef’s copilot. He was killed in combat in Baghdad on July 7, 2011. She wears one of his dog tags next to hers.

N: Are they clumsy/or prone to accidents?

     Stef has dissociative episodes sometimes, especially while doing laundry because of the beating of washing machines or if a helicopter flies overhead, so she isn’t always paying as close attention to what she’s doing as she should. Most of the time she just freezes in place, but she has run into things (and people) before. 

I: In general, are they organized or messy?

     A mix of both. Her desk, paperwork, and bed will always be immaculate. Everything else is up for grabs.
