Well, I don’t mind to share a few little pieces from Adeline’s backstory. I don’t even call her Adeline most of the time tbh. Just “Swoon”. It’s a variation of Varric’s nickname for her - “Swan” - and she kinda looks like one so… ye-eah.

Adeline was born in 9:16 as a result of affair between bann Maveric Trevelyan and herbalist from Cumberland’s Circle of Magi Marianne Bellfast, who was temporarily transfered to Ostwick’s Circle to assist on bann’s treatment (fell ill after his wife’s death). Through his connections Maveric was able to avoid the standart procedure when mage’s child is taken by the Chantry after the birth, Marianne was sent back to Nevarra regardless.

Adeline has three brothers: Sebastian, Martin and Joseph. Sebastian is the eldest, a templar and former heir who rejected family’s fortune and married a simple trader in Ferelden. Martin is current heir and lost his ability to walk during the accident in his childhood (fancy wheel chair detected). And Joseph, little brother, was the cause of his mother’s death, hated by his father and basicly lives with his uncle, professor in Orlais’ Univercity. Poor thing.

Adeline herself got into Ostwic’s Circle only at age of 16, when she accidentally revealed her magic in public, trying to protect her apostate-tutor from city watch. Athras - city elf, lived some time with Dalish and then presumably left his clan to earn a fortune - was hired by bann and educated his daughter since she was nine years old in secret. Adeline convinced him to flee to save himself, and so he did with a heavy heart.In the Circle, before Sebastian found out about what happend to his sister and was transfered back at the Free Marches under the false name, Adeline’s main patron was Knight-Commander Issac Lyons. Let’s just say… he was fond of her perfomance of the Chant. And so she played Andraste for nearly seven years on All Soul’s Day’s festivities and for five years in his apartments. Devouted people are the most kinky ones, yeah? He wasn’t a bad man, no. Pretty good man actually, caring even, compared to the others. They both kinda loved each other, I guess, and maybe eventually all acting parts would have gone, but Rebellion happend.

Sebastian and Adeline were rescued from Ostwick’s Tower by Athras and his men, other Monster Hunter (they hunt on dangerous - posessed by spirits or demons - creatures, mostly animals that changed greatly after touching the Fade; equivalent of Witchers in Thedas, I guess). The group was formed from former templars and mages, whos Circles already rebelled, some apostates and not-yet-templars who completed their training but never got their first lirium sip. With no templars or Chantry in charge of magic gone rogue, Hunters became needed in many places. So, brother and sister joined Athras and stayed with him till the Conclave.

DAI dump | Part 2

Some things from all that stuff I share with my friend every day. I have a huge crush on two things: Devine's armor (and since I've always choose Leliana for that role, I can easily pretend that it's quizzy's ceremonial armor) and elven leather stockings. The last one is a part of her casual wear (mash-up of HF and EF versions of horography's retextures, thankfully leggy part share the same size for all races). Planned to make it a part of 'romance ver.' jammies at first, but kinda grew tired of vanilla pants and decided to keep stockings on permanent basis.

@mowwiie was in a good mood today, so she drew our babies Ragna and Adeline <3 OTP for life. Who need men, when you have a perfect girlfriend right here? ‘Andraste joke’ detected.
