The three girls that went missing were found dazed and alone in a cave. While we’d like to take credit for this, it seems that Bonnibel Bubblegum and Marshall Lee Abadeer where the ones to find them. They’ve been taken to the hospital for further examination.

Bonnie laughed softly as she glanced over her shoulder from the mirror. two long braids hung down around her shoulders, “That’s sweet Marcie,” she said, before she turned back to her vanity and pinned the braids up around the crown of her head. “But I think you might be a little biased there. Finn is the sweetest, most caring person you’ve ever met,” she said. “Followed by Jake, that’s just objective fact,” she said. It was something she was certain of. It’s why she relied on the two heroes so much. And ... Bonnie was not always kind and caring. 

She could be vindictive. She could even be heartless as princess of her candy kingdom. She had done things Finn and Jake would never do. 

Turning around to face Marceline fully she looked across the room at the vampire queen. “But I’m glad you’re biased when it comes to me.”

“and you think it wasn’t for me?” she asked, folding her arms over her chest. “you just have spent all this time assuming that it wasn’t also real for me, rather than just asking? that’s whack-a-do!” her back was stiff, and straight. there was always that sharp edge of pain when she thought back to their relationship. back to the way it ended. might be the most celebrated break up in the history of ooo. “you could have just asked,” her voice softened. “i would have told you. i would have told you it was real for me too.”

“Yeah,” Bonnie said, her soft pink fingers groping around on the nightstand until she found her glasses. Rubbing at her eyes she put the wide round frames on her face. The sound of Marceline screaming had woken her up, not panicked because well ... she was sure the safety of their home hadn’t been breached. She’d set up the security personally after all. She was concerned though for Marcie. She shifted over, taking her girlfriend into her arms. Check pressing against the top of her dark head. “You wanna talk about  it? Or do you just wanna stay like this for a bit?” she asked. 

Sometimes talking helped. Sometimes after a bad dream, you just needed to know you were safe and loved. Bonnie could do both. Or she could do either. Whichever was going to help Marceline, that was all that really mattered to her.
