despite how unwell mj was during this is it... he actually looked pretty darn good in the smooth criminal video that was going to play before he performed. he acted out a whole movie scene. he looks like hes from the 80s there

#he looked so badass #i actually cant really get over smooth criminal atm #i just love the mafia shit #i said the other day watching the bad25 doco with my parents #smooth criminal reminds me of slapstick cartoons. but if it were live action. with zero cgi. just pure practical effects #and really good acting and dancing #god i miss when movies and even music videos relied on practical effects #just makes them look SO much better #cgi is good if you dont rely on it 100% of the time and if it doesnt look like absolute shite/rushed #ramblings #thanks for coming to my ted talk #though i do like older cgi becacuse nostalgia but that's the only exception
