heya! first of all, i fucking LOVE your game, and i don't mean to be harsh at all.

the main thing i wanted to say that i appreciate the inclusivity of the gender options, but the way it's split between "men/non-men" for the different routes is a bit frustrating.

i'm bigender male + female and panromantic, i see myself as both a girl who likes girls and a boy who likes boys. the problem is it's a bit frustrating essentially having to choose between "men/non-men" when i'm both.

i'd choose the nonbinary option, but i'm planning to transition ftm. i prefer mr over mx, and the idea of not being seen as enough of a guy for irene's route is rather dysphoric.

i'd choose trans man in the options, but the idea of not being seen as wlw enough or "enough of a girl" for rositas route is also dysphoric. i've previously identified as a lesbian and i'm dating one, so it feels kinda weird to be completely locked out of the option. it's a different type of dysphoria, but it's still not great haha

i understand most people who identify as ftm aren't bigender or wouldn't want to be seen as wlw, so i feel like this could possibly be fixed with more customizable gender options. maybe tickboxes and a way to change the pronouns/honorifics used would work? i'm not quite sure.

overall, i understand if this is too complicated to add, and i understand the way you implemented it covered the most ground, and that i'm an exception here. i just wanted to share my experience. thanks for hearing me out, and good luck developing repurpose further! i'm super excited for cherri's route btw. ^_^

hi there! I completely understand where you're coming from, truly I do. but our current gender system is complex enough as it is for someone like me who's very very novice at programming ^^; I'd love to have a pronoun system as complex as other games like Our Life, and I am aware they recently even released their script for their gender system, but Repurpose is very much at a state where overhauling our gender system would be more work ontop of a mountain of work I already have to do.

Myself on top of being the director am the artist for sprites and CGs, editor, and programmer, as well as managing a bunch of other things it stresses me out to even have to think about having to build up something from scratch again after a turbulent production that now just me and my partner Sam along with outside help for parts I genuinely cant do myself (voice acting/direction, music, backgrounds).

Again, I totally get where you're coming from especially also someone who is enby and gets frustrated with games that don't even have nonbinary options but a system more complex than the one we have is just not feasible with our current state of production. 😭

Perhaps if I ever do another visual novel I would but given how much I struggled with Repurpose alone it's unlikely....

There was a time I used to like a Youtube channel called Clownfish TV. It USED to seem unbiased. It USED to be mostly discussing Disney and other fantasy (and scifi) entertainment. Then slowly... it became more and more conservative. The first time I noticed how extreme it had become was when the Disney Parks changed an old, antiquated rule that male employees couldn't have long hair and female employees couldn't have short hair. They did away with this old (and very outdated) rule relatively recently. This was around 2021. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/04/13/disney-parks-revamps-employee-policies-as-part-of-wider-inclusivity-goal.html Their Youtube video thumbnail about the change in the rule depicted Mickey Mouse with a purple mohawk haircut as if trying to act like the change was somehow extreme, weird, and ridiculous. Most other theme parks did away with rules like that in the 1960s and 1970s. And yet they acted like this was something new and extreme. Clownfish TV even made a big, angry, deal out of Disney changing "Welcome, Ladies and gentlemen." at certain shows to "Welcome Dreamers." Acting like this was some radical, and extreme attempt at "Woke agenda." Dreamers flows better, especially in a place like Disney. Then I started to notice they used buzz words a little too much like "Fans TRASH (insert random thing here)!" or "Star Wars RUINS legacy!" And it would be something extremely petty or some complaints about a thing over on Twitter. (You can find someone complaining about anything on Twitter). Somehow I never unfollowed them but their videos became less and less enjoyable. And I mostly just look at the now ridiculous and heavily exaggerated thumbnails on my Youtube subscription page. Usually of an upset or horrified looking Mickey Mouse with a ragebait headline.

They used to seem to know what they were talking about when it came to comics, scifi, and fantasy. But as they started to lean more and more to the right, it's like their own knowledge went down the toilet. For example, they joined the certain crowd that was angry about the change to Nightcrawler's origin, talking about how ridiculous it was that Mystique was now the father instead of his mother. And I could practically sense they were carefully avoiding that this is what the character's creator always wanted but it had been shot down back in the 80s by (at the time) homophobic executives at Marvel who didn't want it open that Mystique and Irene were a couple. I felt that they MUST have known this piece of trivia. Most comic fans that I know are aware of what was originally planned (but not allowed) for Nightcrawler. But they went out of their way to pretend not to know this, just to cater to their current (and very angry) audience. Last night they posted a video about how Disney is "ruining" Doctor Who. Not only do they obviously not like the new trans woman character but they went on a rant about the goblins and goblin song from the Christmas special. They acted as if Doctor Who villains never had a song number before. Surely they remember The Master prancing around to Voodoo Child and I can't Decide. But they called the goblins cringe. And before the goblins they called The Toymaker dancing to Spice Up your Life cringe. They also complained about the "Bad CG" on the practical effects Goblins... It feels like not only did they go more conservative and clickbaity but they also deliberately pretend not to know important facts about the things they talk about in order to maintain the bias and stir the rage. It's very irresponsible of them. There was a time they seemed to have integrity...

Well, in beginning I was excited about this story because I love Sherlock Holmes, victorian era and steampunk aestethic, the story started out really good and catchy but it started to get boring after a while, since the 3rd season I wasnt enjoying it anymore but kept playing hoping something cool would happen, but It doesn't and suddenly came the ending, very rushed and without emotion 😢 This is my humble opinion, you are free to agree or not

Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 2 - Myths and Mortals.

It's another fortnite season alright. Coming off of underground, we were greeted with mysterious teasers for the battle pass characters. I thought this was Hope again, lol. Hype at this point was HUGE. Everyone was ready to move on from Underground and people were excited to see what epic was cooking.

After properly being revealed, launch day came. Now to this day we don't have the story, but something BAD happened on Epic's side. All of the programmers and engineers were working for hours on end, trying to get the servers up. The servers wouldn't come up until the evening.

Regardless, the season dropped. This one is obviously themed around Greek mythology. Artemis, Aphrodite, Medusa, Cerberus, Hades, Poseidon and Zeus all make an appearance in the battle pass. We’ve seen interpretations of these figures hundreds of times throughout the years, but the idea of Fortnite of all games taking it on is quite the interesting thing to think about. You think anybody’s thought “what do you think fortnite Zeus looks like?”

The story is still there. Zeus wants to wipe out all of humanity and the other gods think he's doing too much. The looper and Hope work with the other gods to get him to cut it out. Speaking of. Hope. For the entirety of chapter 4, characters were introduced and quickly discarded as the next season came. Strangely, that did not happen with Hope and her in specific. This season is the point where everyone learned that epic is finally doing something with their characters, starting with her. Genuine shock seeing her appear in the season's CG.

The way these lot are characterized is actually pretty fun. Cerberus is still Hades’s brutal and loyal guard dog, but he has a very playful side to him. Like a... dog. Hades is actually pretty chill. References to what Aphrodite is more known for are replaced with a family friendly “god of the squad”. She also has a phone she likes to take selfies with a lot. It's a pretty funny take on her.

Also, epic for some reason made short really well made animations of some of the BP skins. They were released on a week by week basis, and nobody knows why they made them, but it was appreciated. The season was teased the day before with this awesome trailer that EXPLODED online.

Also, Korra is here! This one was a genuine surprise. I remember my jaw dropping when i saw her on the BP trailer for the first time. I'm a huge fan of TLOK. I've rewatched it in it's entirety 7 times now. One thing i really liked about her inclusion was the fact that they brought back Irene Koh specifically to do the art for both of her loading screens. There are fans in that studio.

She brought along the series's staple bending abilities, alongside a good chunk of the Gaang. As weird as it was to see Aang of all people with a shotgun, i got used to it quickly. Shame that Sokka missed out on the fun. Maybe he'll bring Suki along next time.

Each bending ability was designed as to how they are written and viewed in the show. With waterbending, you could fire off icicles and heal yourself in water, firebending was purely fast & offensive, and earth bending could be used to both defend yourself, and fire off a slow but powerful attack. Airbending couldn't be used to harm anyone. it was purely used for mobility.

Speaking of mobility, we’ve dropped the grapple blades and we’ve moved onto the wings of icarus. It’s an item that allows you to straight up fly. It was cool for like the first day, but then I stopped using it after I got shot down from the sky. Turns out your hitbox is doubled if not tripled using it. A week into the season, it was considered a suicide button. A throwing item. the chains of hades also appeared. It was a brutal melee item.

This is the first Fortnite season that i wasn't too crazy about. I wasn't too big on the theme, or any of the battle pass skins. But i still think they did a good job. I'm looking forwards to what comes next.

yeri wake up still small from her nap. she frowned when she noticed her eomma wasn’t by her side like she was when she fell asleep. she stood up and toddle her way to the big room where all the girls were watching a scary movie.

“eomma?” a small voice said, and that was enough to get all four girl’s attention on her. irene quickly stood up and, regardless of her size, picked the girl up and carried her into the living room. “wanna watch movie with unnies!” yeri was such a talkative little.

“i know, but that’s an ugly movie, wouldn’t your rather play with eomma here?” she placed the little on the playmat and sat in front of her, next to them was the toy box that yerim was using earlier that day. “look! it’s your favorite doll!” it was a supergirl doll.

yeri laughed and held the doll closed to her, then she went to pick another doll, this time harley quinn, and gave it to irene.

“you bad guy and me super!” yeri said, moving the doll as if the two dolls were having a fight. irene, obviously, would let her win every single time. she just loved spoiling her little girl.

without any of the two girl’s knowledge, the three other girls have been watching and talking pictures from the door frame.

“pew pew! boom! pushhhh!” yeri made the fighting sounds with her own mouth, moving her hand fast and pretending to hit the other doll. irene followed the game, pretending like the doll was hurt and fainted. yeri couldn’t help but laugh. “me won!”

Joohyun woke up from a nap by herself with her thumb in her mouth and blankie rubbing her nose.

She soon realises how bored she is in her bedroom, so she toddles out of bed and tip toes out of her room.

As Joohyun turned the corner of the hallway, she sees Seungwan and Yerim sitting on the couch, chatting about stuff she doesn’t care about.

All she wanted was a tight firm hug from her mama.

She waddled her way over to Seungwan looking at her legs and then up to her stomach before starting to climb up on her lap.

Seungwan stopped everything she was doing and just froze, saying she was confused would be an understatement. The only way her baby would let her hold her was before bedtime, but now she’s trying to climb in her lap?

“Hey sweet girl, what’s wrong?” Seungwan questioned still very confused, but all Joohyun did was nuzzle her head onto her shoulder and make humming noises.

Joohyun keeps making humming noises untill Seungwan heard a small “mama.” Her face slowly turned to Yerim making a shocked expression.

“What is it?” Yerim looked over at the two seeing, Joohyun snuggling in Seungwan’s lap and Seungwan shocked.

“S-she said mama.” Seungwan whispered as tears started pricking her eyes, in all the years of being Joohyun’s mama she’s never once heard her say mama.

“No way!” Yerim squealed knowing this is a big deal.

“C’mon baby say it again, m-a-m-a.” Seungwan spelled out as Joohyun started playing with her necklace.

“M-m, m-ama.” Joohyun stutters fixated with the necklace.

“I’m so proud of you baby! Well done!!” Yerim explained lightly ruffling up her hair.

“Oh my baby’s so smart, I love you.” Seungwan whispers into Joohyun’s ear, earning a soft squeal from her baby.

Yuri Visual Novel 'Perfect Gold' Ported to Switch and Mobile Devices

Yangyang mobile announced on June 16 that its Yuri visual novel Perfect Gold: The Alchemy of Happiness is now available for Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS devices. The game was initially released for PC in April 2021.

The developer describes the game:

Perfect Gold: The Alchemy of Happiness is a short, coming-of-age yuri visual novel about two former friends who escape detention in order to celebrate the Sunflower Festival. Set in the magical city of Castlecoast, readers get to know Audrey Clary, an alchemy student and heiress who secretly dreams of a different life, and Marion LaRue, a rebellious elemental magic student in search of someone she once loved.

The game is approximately 2-5 hours in length. Players take on the roles of Audrey and Marion at different points of the story, seeing events from different perspectives. It also features an original soundtrack and vibrant animated CG and character artwork done by RyuuXin. Interactive narrative choices affect the game's ending.

Yangyang Mobile has teamed up with Sound Cadence Studios to voice the game in English fully. The cast is as follows:

Over at RKO, a couple of darling kids, Scotty Beckett and Mary Lou Harrington, have considerably softened the hard bachelor crust of a chap we'd never tag as a home man. Cary Grant is having the time of his life, we discover, playing papa in "My Favorite Wife," with Irene Dunne.
