notes; hello! I’ve been wanting to do this for a while so I thought I’d finally share my thoughts! I hope you all enjoy! And I sadly don’t know who drew the fanart but once I do I will credit them!

Just some warnings for the hc’s; mentions of meltdowns, being embarrassed of agere/not comfortable, and techno is mentioned.

hc’s under the cut!

- he first realized he regressed after his exile. After everything was done and he could relax a bit, he found himself slowly slipping when things got to hard and into a state he didn’t know he could go into. Yet he wasn’t complaining.

- he found out what it was from ghost boo, since ranboo used to do it all the time as well. (Hint to next post-). So after he found out what it was, he looked more into it.

- he figured it was from everything he’s been through since L’manberg. His trauma from it all, his deaths, dreams control, the betrayal of everyone. It all made sense. He still found it scary. He was scared of people knowing about this, scared what they might think. Scared of his own mind and that his life has been so bad he resorts to a little mindset to feel slightly better. It was scary and embarrassing in his eyes. He realized he couldn’t be the big man he wanted to be.

- after a while he came to terms with it. He started to feel more comfortable when he did and the thought didn’t make him so insecure when he thought about it. He was ok with it and if it helped him, it helped him. Everyone he told was supportive about it, and he felt accepted.

- his little age is 2-5 and he likes teethers. Not a huge fan of pacis but if someone gifts him one he will gladly wear it. But does prefer teethers.

- has a blue sippy with cows on it that Niki made him. He loves it so much!

-Tom talks! He is a little talker. He babbles and laughs all the time. He’s super energetic and happy when little and just so fun to watch over.

- loves watching cartoons and playing small games. Calms him down and makes him sleepy sometimes. He will color but not all the time.

- he doesn’t have a full time cg, so Phil, tech and Wil (pretend he’s sane) take turns watching him and being his cg!

- loves music! Lord he loves it!

- cuddles are a must with him. When he’s little, he’s little and needs cuddles.

- when toms a bit older in his little age like 4-5, he climbs trees! Makes Phil scared sometimes but he comes back just as ok he was when he went up. He just likes being up there and playing pretend.

-when Tom regresses from something bad triggering him, he usually has a breakdown and wants comfort and love. To know that nothing will happen to him again as long as he has his cg.

- wil always asks to take care of him as his brother. He thinks it’s a good way to get his trust back and be there for his baby brother when needed.

- lastly! Tom loves playing with friends! If anyone else regresses in the smp, he will have play dates with them!

This is about the character , and is only written with positive intentions and without disrespect .

Techno would be a very warm and caring cg

He would def want to go by "papa bear" or "bubba"

He'll garden with any little ones in his care , then make big nutritious meals with any veggies they grow together !!

Very protective of his little ones , is quick to get them out of situations where they seem uncomfortable or upset

Loves to have story time !! Especially if he can catch your interest with mythology

But if not in story time , he'll use morals and lessons from mythology to teach things to you

Tech will probably also choose a character from mythology to use as a nickname for you

Other nicknames include teasingly affectionate things , for example "munchkin" , "nerd" , "lil one/guy" , and "twerp" . He means it with love !

An amazing cuddler and hugger

Techno will always help you face your fears , he's always willing to show you how to be brave . But if you aren't ready to yet he's also happy to hold you close until you are .

Yes of course he lets you dress up in his crown and cloak

Snowball fights !! Then of course warm hot coco and cookies afterwards with snuggles

He also loves playing board games with his little ones !!

» little age range 1 ½ - 8 usually on the littler side though. » verrrrryyyyy whiny, hungry? Whine. dirty? Whine. bored? Whine. he whines even if he is verbal.

» Tommy is his big brother figure when little and they go back and forth taking care of eachother when little. Phil babysits him sometimes too. Technoblade babysits sometimes but he’s hesitant because he doesn’t want to scare/hurt tubbo. and Will is his brother figure too.

» is very playful with the caregiver he’s with, climbing all over them, playing pretend and dress up, dancing, and running around. But after 3 or so hours he crashes and sleeps.

» very cuddly and loves finding new ways to show physical affection towards his cg like hand kisses, piggy back rides, cuddles, and laying his head on their shoulder while sitting on their lap.

So the other day I read the first volume of a manga called Magilumiere: Magical Girls Inc., which is set in a world where, kinda like MHA with superheroes, magical girls are a common sight, and being a magical girl is treated like a normal job. Basically, they function as exterminators for these monsters called kaii, and there are multiple companies, of all sizes, that employ magical girls for this purpose.

Anyway, the manga was really cool, but we all know that magical girl transformations (especially techno-magic ones like in this series) look best animated. So naturally, I looked it up to see if there was an anime adaptation. And there is - just not yet. This manga only came out in 2022 in Japan (and it's running in Shonen Jump+, no less), under the title Magilumiere Co. Ltd (Kabushiki Gaisha Majirumie in Japanese) and it only started being released in English by Viz in March of this year. And while an anime version is planned, it's not due out till Q4 of 2024. So I have to wait.

The cast and staff seem pretty good, though. The anime is being made by J.C. Staff (the studio behind many well-known animes, like Azumanga Daioh, the A Certain Magical Index franchise, Saiki K, Food Wars, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and Shakugan no Shana), alongside Studio Moe, which seems to be a pretty new studio with not that many credits. The composer, Makoto Miyazaki, also did the music for One Punch Man and Spy x Family. The script writer Shingo Nagai has also written for Symphogear (so he's no stranger to mahou shoujo). The director, Masahiro Hiraoka, doesn't seem to have much directorial experience (most of his credits on ANN are for artist work, most of which seem to be tied to Studio Moe, which as I mentioned, doesn't have very many credits), but I can overlook that. (Interestingly, a lot of his artist work has been in CG art, including CG for both HeartCatch and Suite PreCure, which makes me think the transformations and maybe attacks will involve CG, though I guess that's expected nowadays).

The cast is interesting too. The two main girls, Kana and Hiromi, are being voiced by Fairouz Ai and Yumiri Hanamori respectively. They previously appeared together in Tropical Rouge PreCure as Cures Summer and Coral respectively (and just last year reprised those roles in the movie PreCure All Stars F), although interestingly here Coral's actress is playing the energetic Hiromi, while Summer's actress is playing the much more reserved and intelligent Kana, which if you know Tropical Rouge is a complete opposite of their Cure characters. But then they have range - Fairouz is also the voice of Jolyne from JoJo and Alisa in Pokémon Concierge, while Yumiri has also played Hayasaka from Kaguya-sama (a character with a varied personality, apparently). So I'm not worried.

The two characters above are the resident programmer at and the boss of the titular Magilumiere. (Yes, the boss is a middle-aged male cosplayer. He's just weird like that). The programmer's name is Kazuo Nikoyama, and rather hilariously given his design, he's going to be voiced by Daiki Yamashita, the same actor who voices Izuku in MHA (I guess the resemblance to Izuku may not have been a coincidence 😂). As for the boss, his name is Kouji Shigemoto, and his planned actor is Rikiya Koyama (Kogorō Mori/Richard Moore in Detective Conan/Case Closed, Jōichiro in Food Wars, and Emiya in the Fate franchise).

Rounding out the currently known cast is nice-guy office worker Midorikawa, who is going to be voiced by Ryota Ohsaka (Keiji in Haikyuu, Sadao/Satan in The Devil is a Part-Timer, and the Japanese voice of Cat Noir).

Anyway, sounds like an interesting series! Unfortunately, Volume 2 of the manga doesn't come out in English until June, so I'll have to wait for that too.

I mean in all seriousness, especially compared to the current state of big studio science fiction, Battlefield Earth isn't *that* bad. There's some good practical effects and set design here. Even the CG is generally remarkably good for the time. The 90s techno grunge Xena thing is sort of charming in retrospect. It's essentially a SciFi channel original or a bad Star Trek movie. I've played AAA games with less coherent dialog.

Again, I really like what they did with the "timeline mixing". What I'm not a fan of are the TURKS. Already in Advent Children (the og one, not the Complete), I had TONS of problems seeing Reno & Rude hanging with Cloud and co. Like, "Hey, let's totally forget that you murdered thousands of civilians with the pillar including our friends Jessie, Biggs and Wedge ! ❤️". Advent Children Complete did acknowledge Reno & Rude still feeling that they can't be forgiven for what they have done and hope that someday they'll find a way for a redemption. It doesn't fix everything but it is still a massive improvement.

But in FF 7R ? Reno & Rude feel a bit guilt and then its ok, because Tseng says something "deep" (lol no). It's supposed to show that what Reno & Rude did actually hurt them and it is really troubling them. But nah, Tseng says "Well if you haven't done this, somebody else would've done it, so you helped someone, actually !". Yeah, fuck off Tseng. Reverse psychology my ass. Oh and speaking of the pillar.

Chapter 5 : La mu-si-que ! Oui, la musique !

When my brother played Secret of Mana for the first time with me, we let the game at the title screen for a moment because we saw many nice animations or story elements by just doing this in games like A Link To The Past or Link's Awakening. I was in awe with the Secret of Mana's title theme and the beautiful (yet very pixelated and compressed) artwork revealed (and the music goes even harder at that moment). So I did this too with FF 7 the first time I played it and got to hear the Prelude. And off course, when the music goes for the second part, I loved every bit of it.

When I was told that The Prelude was a very recurring theme in the series, I wanted to hear all versions of it. It's that important to me. I LOVE this theme. And while it's rendition in the remake is good, it's nowhere near the impact it had in the OG game.

And then there's the covers in FF 7 Remake. All around the maps, you can hear and purchase covers from the original game. And wether you purchase it or not, you are forced to hear it whenever you get close to where you can obtain the song. And they SUCK. They suck so badly. The Prelude cover is horrendous. It makes the FF X Prelude look like it's good ! None of the cover works aside for "Oh you hear ? It's that theme butchered from OG FF 7 !". But you know, it's just my opinion, people love it, I don't. But there's something I'm sure people agree.

The fall of the Sector 7 plate is a big emotional moment in the original game. Seeing the plate fall is showing that despite all your efforts, you failed. Your friends died and all of the citizens under the plate and on the plate died too. The CG animation in OG FF7 goes with no music, just a cold, silent, horrible depiction of thousands dying. And at the end, you see the Shinra President from behind, looking at the devastation from his window while listening to an opera music, the ONLY music you hear.

It shows how massively separated from the horror he is. He is listening to music. Outside his office, the sound of people dying is covered by explosions and then a terrible silence. This is incredible, especially for a 1997 videogame.

So off course the remake completely fucks this. In the remake, you get to hear, from start to finish, a rocky techno shit while thousands of people are dying and Wedge is supposedly crushed to death with his cats. WOW, DUDE ! And this time you actually see the President's face and he is smiling. But you don't hear the opera song.

Conclusion

The Nomurism are so full of their asses they can't even be bothered to respect "Show, don't tell". You don't have to see that he is smiling, you know it just by seeing him watching this with the opera music in the background ! It was more than enough to understand that he enjoyed what happened. What he ordered. What he did. Fuck this remake.

The same exact thing happened with Crisis Core's depiction of Zack's death versus Zack's death in OG FF 7. The exact same thing. A totally Overdrive-Nomurism Cosmo Nevismitical moment, if you will. The man can't help but make overtly complicated stories, UI, menus with pompous terms, pretentious writing (oh look, people are playing chess in KH, wow, so original) and it's not helped when his buddy from FF XIII is giving 80% of the lore and plot in the Codex you have to read instead of, you know, SHOWING IT.

Advent Children was the moment I gave up on Nomura and also made me stop watching shonens because I felt like they were all doing the exact same thing (oh, a tsundere, oh a geek, oh a woman with massive breasts, oh a pervert, oh a weird man with opaque glasses reajusting it all the time and saying "Fufufu" like a creep).

So for all of this, I didn't liked FF 7 Remake, a game I did twice (Steam & PS5).

Littles: Wilbur and Reader

Trigger warnings: descriptions of anxiety, disassociating, and derealization.

Despite how angsty this is, it has a pretty fluffy ending.

You heard that Wilbur was back from the dead. You didn't know how to handle this news. You were fidgety, antsy, and having a hard time sitting still. You were in the middle of an anxiety fueled cleaning binge of your small cabin in the snowy area near Techno's home. You were even starting to have difficulty sleeping again. You should be happy to see Wilbur, but you heard that he had come back different. Come back wrong, worse than he was during Pogtopia. You looked down at your hands, noticing they were starting to shake. You decide to take a break from cleaning for now and sink to the floor feeling exhausted. You were starting to tic a bit but nothing too bad right now.

You probably needed to regress, but you just couldn't; you didn't want to be anxious while regressed or bother anyone. Right now Techno and Philza were out gathering materials for some mysterious building project, he had asked if you wanted to join them, but you had politely declined. You know any of the caregivers around the server probably wouldn't mind taking care of you, but what if they were busy? You don't want to be a burden.

You rise on shaky legs and begin to shuffle your way over to Techno's  home. The snow settles in your hair. You feel slightly left of center in your skin. You're shivering; however, it's not registering fully.

Your hands make contact with worn wood, and you push into the cozy house. Technoblade's enderman, Edward, vwoops a greeting to you, and you smile a bit, rasping out a hello of your own.

You climb up the ladder to the attic library. Techie lets you keep your coloring stuff and story books on your own shelf. Maybe doing some coloring will help ground you enough to remember where everyone is right now. You clamber off the ladder gracelessly, feeling very unsteady on your feet. You slide down the wall taking a moment to rest on the scuffed, worn wood floor. You smell something off, a smell that doesn't belong. It was like cigarettes, it dredged up a mixed bag of memories from the day Wilbur had died.

"Y/N?" A rough voice calls out to you, sounding almost shocked. You're so startled by the presence that you almost fall down the ladder. Your eyes snap to the source of the voice and your brain short circuits.

"Wil-Wilby? izzat really you?" You were so confused. There wasn't supposed to be anyone home right now. You start to feel lightheaded. Oh no, no you were starting to have trouble telling what was real.

"Y/N!" There's a panicked tone to how he says your name. He scrambles over to you and gently pulls your hands to his chest. "Y/N, hey, it's okay. Here, copy me and take some deep breaths just like this." He was making some attempt at soothing you, but the contact of his far too cold hands sent you crashing over the edge.

"Nnuh uh" you start shaking your head. "No not wilby can't be wilby not real. Not real can't be."

You were fully spiraling now, a complete breakdown was inevitable at this point and you couldn't stop panicking. You struggle to scoot back away from the man you thought of like a brother. His grip loosened and you feel one of your hands begin knocking against your head, the other found its way into your mouth. 

Distantly you're aware that there was a sound like someone clambering down the ladder. Some time after that a door opened downstairs, but you couldn't process what that means right now.

Everything was too much.

Your movements had stilled, but your hand was still resting firmly between your gritted teeth.

You heard someone climbing up the ladder and you curl tighter into a ball.

You were bad, you were mean to Wilby.

Techie is gonna be so mad at you.

He's not gonna wanna take care of you anymore because you're bad.

You feel like you're moving in slow motion when you look up to try and make sense of what was going on around you.

Techno is sitting on the floor in front of you. How long had he been there before you noticed? You were very out of it. He looks worried.

"Hey, kiddo, I'm here, Techie's here now." He slowly reaches out a hand and gently touches the wrist belonging to the hand in your mouth. "Little one, I need you to let go of your hand okay?"

You nod weakly, managing to loosen up your jaw and pull your hand free. He lightly touches the side of your face.

"Thank you bubs. Do you wanna tell Techie what happened? You seem pretty shaken up."

"Techie m sowwy, I was bad an mean to wilby n, m sorry."  You're flapping your hands a bit, trying to stim out some of your negative emotions. "I gots scawed cus wilby was here an I didn't know anyone was here an I started dis-dissa-" You were struggling to say disassociating, Techno seemed to understand anyway and for that you were thankful. "I gots really scared cus I couldn't tell what was real anymore. Wilby tried to help me calm down but I was bad n I couldn't, n I made him upset."

"Oh little one, I'm sure Wilby will understand, we just have to explain what happened, okay? Are you feeling calm enough to do that now, or would you like to calm down a bit more first?" Techno ruffles your hair a bit. "Wil's downstairs cuddling up to Steve and Philza so he's okay right now."

You make grabby hands for your caregiver and he pulls you over into his lap, cradling you.

"Do you want to play the grounding game, bug?" He asks you softly, as he could see you were a bit out of it still.

"Mmmhmm, please Techie need help focusin."

"Okay bug, can you count how many diamonds are on the enchanting table?" You nod and count to four on your fingers, holding them up proudly. "Good job kiddo, now can you discribe Techie's cape?"

He holds a part of it up for you to hold, you take it in your hands for a moment. You take meticulous mental notes of the color, weight, and materials used to make it.

"Techie's cape is crimson red, but kinda looks like candy apple red next to the snow, it's made of a heavy velvety fabric with a fluffy white fur trim." Your hand trails up to the clasps holding it around his shoulders, you then fidget with the chain. "The chain is gold n enchaned so it can't break, I 'member you tellin me dat, and then Dadza n Wilby gave you the gems on the claspy bits, then theres one dangly dat matches Tommy's an the other dangly is from Ranboo."

"Very good job baby bug, do you remember what they're all called?" You think for a bit, and nod.

"Dadza gave you an em-emald (emerald), Wilby gave you a flint, Tommy has a bedrock that matches dis one." You push it lightly with your index finger, "an ranboo gave you a totem! To keeps you safe, but das just insurance becus Techie never dies! Never ever!"

"That's right kid, Technoblade never dies!" He ruffled your hair again, laughing softly. "Are you feelin better buggie?"

"Yeps! I'm all back togever! We go 'splain to wilby now?" Your head tilts to the side a bit, like a puppy.

"Of course, I'll go first down the ladder and you follow me okay?"

"Okie! I can do dat!"

The two of you make your way down to the others, and are greeted with an adorable sight. Wilbur was snuggled up into Steve's fluffy fur, with Philza gently combing his fingers through wilburs curly, messy hair. He looks worried, but perks up when he sees the two of you.

"Y/N! Are you feeling better?" He sits up a bit.

"Ya, 'm feelin much better Wilby." You then explain to him what happend, and apologize for making him upset.

"Oh y/n, I'm just relieved that your okay now, that was really scary." He ruffles his hands through Steve's fur. "Plus I know the feeling, sometimes it doesn't feel like I'm actually here, like the universe is just gonna snap back to how it was and I'll be trapped in that God forsaken train station again."

"Wilby, is okay, if chu feel like dats jus come find me n we can play the groundin game n den you'll feel aaaaaall better!" You grin at him, and he smiles back. Then he looks up at Techno, looking like he had a question for his brother.

"Yes Wil?"

"Can you be my caregiver still? An can Phil help sometimes?" He looked so shy and nervous.

"Oh of course little man, I wouldn't pass up that opportunity in a million years." Techno smiles at his brother, looking very content.

"Well duh Wil, you're my son. I'd love to relive the years when you were a cute little brat, and not a tall rat of a man." Phil chuckles warmly, no malice in his tone. Wilbur wasn't upset, he was delighted that now he had two caregivers. "I'll even keep an eye on the other little one if you need me to Tech."

"Awe the old man wants to babysit." Techno teased, and laughed heartily.

Despite all the fun you were having joking around and listening to everyone talk, you were starting to get sleepy. So you pull on Technos sleeve and let him know. It looks like Wilbur was also starting to get tuckered out as he was attempting to stifle a yawn to no avail.

Techno ushers the two of you up the ladder again to get to your little things. Philza follows behind him and soon enough the two of you are changed into some comfy sleeping clothes. There was a bit of crying to be had when Wilbur realized Techno had kept his little things safe for all that time.

Soon enough you and Wilbur were cozied up on the bed, snugly tucked in under a cozy quilt, clutching onto love worn stuffed animals. Wilbur had his orca tucked back into his arms, while you cuddled your favorite raccoon. The two of you were flanked by Techno and Philza who were cooing at the adorable sight before them.

CG!Technoblade headcannons!

He loves to read bedtime stories! When he’s waiting during nap times or independent playtime, he writes bedtime stories and draws for the stories! He adores playing pretend, making different voices for each character and moving stuffies’ hands around to make them look like they're speaking!

Techno will carry little’s bags if they don’t want to carry them, so it’s normal to see him wearing a backpack with pastels or shiny diamonds and emeralds!

His most common nicknames are royalty based! Prince, princess and my crown are all fair game for him! He might not like government, but he dresses like a king, and littles deserve to be treated nicely!

Cooking is a mess, he loves to let littles cook with him, but somehow he forgets how fun it is to paint on walls and mess with flour!

Piglins have a need to protect, and with Techno being a Piglin hybrid, being a caregiver makes him very happy. He has a sense of safety and the feeling of being loved when he can take care of any and all littles. Sometimes, he needs to have very sleepy and very cozy cuddles because he has a need to keep littles close. If any little hold his hands in public he will not hesitate to give all his love and attention to them.

He looks scary and tough, but if any little babbles or goes into babyspace he will lose all his persona and go soft.

Techno loves to listen to babbles and pretend they’re deep, thoughtful conversations. He responds to them with a lot of emotion and hand movements, turning to the little and close awaiting a response.

He’s one of the emergency caretakers of the SMP, if any little pings the emergency caretakers, the closest one to them arrives to the coords! So, he takes walks around the SMP to walk his dogs and look out for any scared or lost littles!

Does he spoil his littles? Yes, hundred times over yes.

After the Little’s Laws were signed, he was careful to watch for any signs of people slipping during battle, teaching people how to spot them and how to get the littles out of the situation as safely as possible.

When any little starts crying, he instinctively tries to find gold to give to them.

He is very tough on candy and sugar before and after meals, the milk he makes isn’t very sugary. He prefers to give tea instead, saying that the flowers are magic and good for littles to continue to be cool and strong!

Bedtime is bedtime, meal time is meal time. He is very strict because he cares about littles’ and their health! He does his best to not be very scary, but he apologizes with hugs, kisses, and lots of reassurances!

He makes little homework sheets when kids and toddlers are being rowdy or have too much energy for their age.

Techno likes silence, but he doesn’t mind a music disc or music box in the house.

The fireplace and stove are heavily guarded! Even sitting or standing too close gives littles warnings and a little bit in trouble!
