Adam Dalton Blake INSPIRATION:

“Fifteen, Love!” is a contemporary menswear collection inspired by Blake’s tennis-playing father in the late 1980s early 90s, alongside his personal kitsch-craft aesthetic from childhood. The collection is a textile and texture exploration using various textiles such as latch-hooked yarns, boiled wool, velvet, and velvet corduroy. “Fifteen, Love!” celebrates the wonderfully kitsch and cheeky, while having roots in familial and athletic nostalgia.

Adam Dalton Blake will be one of the three emerging designers being featured at the prestigious CFDA & LIFEWTR S/S 2018 Designer Presentation. Through the partnership between the CFDA and LIFEWTR, each designer will have a bespoke design displayed on nearly 40 million bottles of LIFEWTR. With the goal of advancing fashion and helping talented emerging designers break through the crowd, both the CFDA and LIFEWTR are offering a platform and guidance to help jumpstart these designers careers.

For the Art of it: Through a multifaceted collab, 3 young designers made their debut during NYFW thanks to the CFDA x LIFEWTR collaboration. Young designers Adam Dalton Blake, Tiffany Huang, and Ghazaleh Khalifeh showed their collections in a collective presentation. The bespoke art from the designers’ work was additionally placed on 40 million bottles of LIFEWTR.

The result was one fantastically multicolored vibe at Pier 59 – where I incidentally was blending right in to the art on the wall :).  Plus, this show was one of our most liked posts our from NYFW ss18 on my curated FashionDailyMag tumblr, where it was shared and liked over 2500 times!

We caught up with designer Tiffany Huang and friends who were showing us the art through a view of an app and lens that made the view animated which was more than awesome.

Here’s a look at each of the designers and the art on the wall as well as the gorgeous bottles. Oh- and Katie Holmes dropped in to say hi and support.
