My truth is: My Truth Is, a traveling multi-community collaboration with Sanctuaries DC, Center DC, Justice for Muslim Collective, Dar al Hijra Islamic Center, International Muslim Women’s Initiative for Self Empowerment, and Muslim Community Center, centers the narratives of Muslim women in relation to gender and faith. The interactive video recording booth welcomes community members to share their truth and experiences in their own words to cultivate a sense of connectedness and responsibility to each other as we celebrate the uniqueness and diversity of our faith.
