MFG OF GRINDING MACHINES
Calcium, silicon, iron, and aluminum are the main basic elements needed by cement plants. These basic elements include sand, clay, and limestone. Calcium is found in limestone. It is mixed with grit and clay in much lesser amounts. The needs for silica, iron, and aluminum are met by sand and clay. These raw materials are big boulders that must be pulverized into smaller rocks. A crusher lowers large rocks to the gravel size.
The raw materials from the quarry are now being transported to the cement plant laboratory, where they are analyzed and the correct proportioning of limestone and clay is made feasible before the grinding process starts. Typically, clay makes up 20% of the material and limestone 80%.

1. Hammer Crushers: The raw materials from the quarry are now being sent to the cement plant laboratory, where they are analyzed and the proper proportioning of the clay and limestone is made possible before the crushing process begins. Typically, clay makes up 20% of the material and limestone 80%.
2. Impact crushers: The ideal application for an impact crusher is the breaking of brittle, hard-to-medium-hard raw materials. The impactor bars in the impact crusher are imperviously attached to the rotor and revolve along with it at a circumferential speed of 30-45 m/s as the input material enters the crushing chamber. The pieces are launched against the top breaker plate, rebound into the crushing chamber, and are once more exposed to the impactor bars' action, and continue doing this until they are sufficiently diminished to move through the top gap onto the area between the two breaker plates. Until the substance is fine enough to travel through the second opening, the procedure is repeated here.
3. Compound Impact Crusher: In a compound impact crusher, the primary and secondary crushing stages are combined into a single unit. This dual-rotor crusher operates at a primary rotor speed of 35 m/s and a secondary rotor speed of about 45 m/s circumferential velocity. The bottom space created by a second, ridged comminuting anvil plate establishes the largest product particle size.  Compound crushers can handle feed masses up to 1.5 m in size and reduce them to a final product with a 95% reduction ratio (or reduction ratio of 60:1) accomplished in a single pass.
4. Roller Crushers: For the initial reduction of extremely hard and gritty admixtures for cement production, jaw crushers are used. The substance is primarily compressed by the double-toggle (or Black type) jaw crusher's crushing tooth during its reciprocating motion. This machine excels at breaking down extremely hard materials that are supplied in large masses.

Where Are Dalmia Bharat Group’s Cement Plants Located?
Dalmia Cement (Bharat) was founded in 1935 by Jaidayal Dalmia. This company was not started as a cement manufacturing company till 1939. Before the cement division was formed, they used to trade other materials such as sugar, magnesite and et cetera. Now, they have come a long way to become one of the most prestigious cement manufacturing companies in this country. This company has seen a lot of ups and downs in its life span of 70 years and counting.
A brief recap:
Dalmia Cement was one of the first cement manufacturing companies in India. During the pre-independence period, Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited (DCBL) had set up about four cement plants but during the independence and partition of our country, two out of the four cement plants had been affected. The remaining two were still operational under Orissa Cements Limited (OCL). In The recent years, DCBL has become a leading name in the cement industry and there are quite a few obvious reasons behind it- highly developed and automated cement plants and a great R&D backup. Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited currently holds four cement manufacturing plants over here in India.

Future Plans:
DCBL has launched a new Greenfield project at Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, which will supposedly increase their rate of manufacture by a lot. The people at DCBL have set their eyes on a single goal- to be India’s and then the world’s leading cement manufacturing company and for this, the company is taking necessary steps to expand their company and are trying to make a mark in South India. With this kind of growth rate, DCBL will grow into one of the top companies in the world in the cement industry. They are even planning to set up two new cement plants in India but it is still in the planning process and the names of the locations has not been revealed yet. Although it is being said that the company is ready to invest almost 3000 crores rupees for this level of expansion. It is pretty much obvious how serious DCBL is in the matter of expanding their company through introducing more cement plants and an advance R&D department who work day and night at their in-house facility at Salem to provide you with the product of top quality and more durability.
In the last 70 years, DCBL has tried to achieve excellence through their hard work. A lot of effort has gone behind to make DCBL what it is today and one of the main reasons why they have been able to do this- they have always been open to try new technologies which will help them in their cement production. Their vision for excellence by using modern technology had paved the way for other companies to follow them. DCBL are the pioneers and are the reason behind the modern day structure of the Indian Cement Industry.
