Pissed at Mother

      When you're really into practicing your Bach Sonata and you finally reach you solo part and your mother comes in and says “ Honey, would you play a little quieter? UNFORGIVABLE!!! I’m playing my instrument in a different room and you want me to play quieter??!!!!! I mean seriously???!!! I sat in stunned silence and I was trying not to fume and cuss out my mother. Cause that’s not socially acceptable and it would hurt her feelings. But as a enthusiastic cellist I was pissed and still am.

      I was seriously hurt. I mean after all the hours I put in to learn the piece she tells me to be quiet??!!! I was excited to show of the piece I had just mastered so I was playing fortissimo but still. I play the cello which aren’t inherently quiet instruments. I think my ego is hurt... I'm probably going to be fuming for a couple of hours.

After being put off for a week trying to put in the zip, I finally got round to hemming (and finishing) my concert trousers!!
