New Volkswagen Up 2020 Review, Release Date, Feature
New Post has been published on https://www.vwcartrend.com/new-volkswagen-up-2020-review-release-date-feature/
New Volkswagen Up 2020 Review, Release Date, Feature
New Volkswagen Up 2020 Review, Release Date, Feature – The VW Up is one particular of the most elegant and desirable city cars available for purchase, but it’s reasonably high-priced, and several alternatives have a little more space in the back again. The Volkswagen Up is a small city car, but although it is the company’s least expensive model, it has the form of great-quality, upmarket interior you would expect of a Volkswagen.
Beneath, it’s the very same car as the Seat Mii and Skoda Citigo, and the Up proceeded sales in 2011. This revised version came in 2017, and although you may have difficulties to the area what altered in the facelift, it will have remodelled bumpers. Notably, also, it has a range of new infotainment techniques and the option of more potent engines.
New Volkswagen Up 2020 Review
The New Volkswagen Up 2020 is an alternative to city cars like the Kia Picanto, Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo, and you can select amongst several- and five-door models. Core Ups have a choice of affordable petrol engines, but there are partners of fascinating models at the best of the range. The Volkswagen Up GTI is a cracking small warm (well, hottish) hatchback, while at the opposite end of the array is the thoroughly electric, no-emission e-Up model, either of which is analysed separately.
New Volkswagen Up 2020 Exterior
Interior, the Up has a necessary, minimalist appear, but it’s more intelligent than the Picanto, and almost everything seems much more robust than in the bargain-home Suzuki Celerio. You also can decide on a broad range of suggested style packs on some models that make everything just that tiny bit better. Do you want black alloys, two-tone paint employment, or a various-coloured dashboard?
You won’t want for the latest in engineering, sometimes. DAB television is standard over the range, and High Up and Is better than models have a smart 5.-ins colour computer screen, where you can run loads of capabilities from an iPhone app on a smartphone mounted in a cradle at the top of the dashboard. Provided how modest the car is, you could well be surprised how simple it is for pretty much any individual to get comfortable in the Up, even though they are fairly significant. On every model, the driver’s chair has level realignment, and even though the steering wheel only adjusts for size, not get to, you can get a correct driving placement.
New Volkswagen Up 2020 Interior
Even more astonishingly, it is an equivalent tale in the rear seating. Indeed, you could only get two different people in the again – contrary to the Hyundai i10, that may acquire about three – but there is adequate joint and mind place for taller grownups to get realistically secure. The New Volkswagen Up 2020 may even do a passable job as a household car, and it is relatively effortless to fit a youngster seating through the rear doorways in an all 5-door model – as soon as you have identified the undetectable Isofix anchor points, that is. If you want to fit a large rear-dealing with seat, you’ll have to switch the traveller seating right ahead, nonetheless.
New Volkswagen Up 2020 Concept
This is even a quite sensible little car, with a reasonable amount of storage space dotted about the cabin. The door containers are reasonably roomy, and the glovebox is generous, but there are only two cupholders – just one for the entrance car seats and one in the back again. The boot, also, is roomy with this size of the car. Its 251-litre capability is on a par with what you’ll see in the likes of the i10 and Picanto, so it’ll have zero problems taking a baby buggy or a sizeable suitcase. What is far more, as extended as you avoid the most basic Fill Up model, your Volkswagen Up 2020 includes what Volkswagen phone calls a ‘variable boot floor’.
This is undoubtedly mounted in a wide range of roles and implies you can elevate it to decrease the height of the boot lip you have to lift luggage over. Will need to bring more goods? If you collapse downward the rear seating, you can fit in a cycle with just one wheel taken out, well. The car seats retract in a two-way (60: 40) break up, too, so you can hold prolonged travel luggage and a traveller in the back again at the same time.

Introduction
Maruti Wagon R is a name that is familiar and despite being around for many years, it still was selling well. Acknowledging that, Maruti went in with a clean sheet with the new Wagon R that you see here. This is a made for India Wagon R and Maruti invested close to Rs 700 cr for its development. The new Wagon R is bigger, is more powerful and has gone premium. Will it be as successful this time? We find out.
Looks
The new Wagon R has a new platform which is the same one that underpins all the hot selling new Maruti cars like the Swift and Baleno. That is a huge thing as it means the new Wagon R is now safer and has a better build quality plus more robust. It has grown in size with a length of 3655mm, width of 1620mm and height of 1675mm. Design wise too it is not boxy while still keeping the old Wagon R look. It is not plain any more. Look closer and see the nicely designed big headlamps connecting to the grille then see the wheel-arches and the floating roof too. The rear is still ‘tall boy’ but again better designed.
  Interiors
Here it is a big change. The design is better and it feels better build. The space first and here it is better than the earlier Wagon R. Due to the boxy looks, headroom is excellent plus even at the rear the shoulder room and legroom is very good however the flat seats means comfort is slightly compromised. The door pockets are bigger and good enough while storage is good. The design is better now and you see the Ignis like steering plus the 7inch touchscreen now has the new Maruti infotainment system (2nd new Maruti to get after the new Baleno). It looks better and is easier to use. The instrument cluster is pretty well designed and packs in all the info including a gear shift indicator.
  Features and safety
Maruti has given a decent feature list. It starts with the 7inch touchscreen which has smartphone, vehicle and cloud-based services. There is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay plus you can use your phone to access many entertainment functions. There is also steering controls, USB, 2 speakers, Bluetooth, Tilt adjustable steering wheel, Electrical retractable ORVMs. However there is no rear camera and the headrests are fixed.
In terms of safety it has Dual airbags while a Driver airbag, ABS (antilock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake force distribution), front seat belts reminder, speed alert system and rear parking sensors standard across variants.
  Driving
Maruti offers the Wagon R with two engine options. There is a 1.2l which is the new one and the earlier 1.0 petrol also continues. The new 1.2l petrol makes 83 bhp and 113Nm. Maruti also offers both the engines with the AMT gearbox while a 5-speed manual is standard. We drove the 1.2l petrol manual and AMT. The 1.2l certainly makes a big change.
The increased power makes the Wagon R feel quite quick. There is a lot more power and refinement now which makes it easier to drive. It feels smoother and more torque means it has a more relaxed drive. The manual is nice and light to use while the clutch is light as well. The manual Wagon R is the more fun one and the good amount of power and torque means constant downshifts are not required in traffic.
However we think the Wagon R is best in its AMT form. The AMT is now much improved from the earlier ones. In the city it is very smooth and with creep function along with updated changes, it feels as easy as a pure automatic. Only when you drive hard or want sudden accelerations that the AMT feels a bit slow. Yes it also has a ‘pause’ between shifts but it is not a huge problem anymore unlike previous AMT cars. Mileage for both the AMT and manual are same with 21.5 kmpl (real world 15-16 kmpl). The new Wagon R is a lot more stable now and has a better ride than the earlier one. Still is not a fun car like the Swift with its steering being very light which is a disadvantage in the highways.
  Which variant to buy?
A lot of the features like the touchscreen are only in the top-end ZXI trim. Maruti thankfully is offering the AMT in top-end trim. So if you want the features the top variant it is. The lower variants like the VXI are short on features but still have a decent amount. In terms of value the top-spec makes sense though if you are on a tighter on budget then the VXI is good enough.
Vs rivals?
There are many cars like the Hyundai Santro, Tata Tiago and even Maruti’s own Celerio. We think the Wagon R is much better than the Celerio due to more space and having a modern AMT gearbox. The Santro has more features over the Wagon R and has a more stylish interior along with a smoother AMT but the Wagon R has more space and more efficiency. The Tiago feels like a bigger car and has more features too along with looking better but the Wagon R has the better AMT and more space- plus the better efficiency of course.
Colours
The all new 2019 Maruti Wagon R is launched in 6 vibrant color options namely – Poolside Blue, Nutmeg Brown, Magma Grey, Autumn Orange, Silky Silver and Superior White. Check the photos of all new Big Wagon R colours.
Verdict
Prices for the Wagon R start at Rs 4.3 lakh while the top-spec AMT 1.2 petrol is Rs 5.8 lakh ex-showroom. Compared to the earlier one, the new Wagon R is more expensive but you do get a lot. There is no point comparing to the earlier Wagon R as it is a completely different car. The new platform, new design along with a modern interior makes it a good value option. If you love driving, pay more and get the Swift. The Wagon R is different. The Wagon R is aimed at families looking for a practical and spacious hatch which is also efficient, easy to drive. In terms of that, it is job well done Maruti.

Comparison: Maruti Suzuki Celerio v/s Tata Tiago
In recent years, a lot of Car makers in India are turning towards inventing SUVs crossovers into their entry-level hatchbacks. Tata launched their first hatchback crossover, Tiago NRGin September 2018. The new Tiago competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki’s Celerio X. Both vehicles come from the reputed companies and are immensely popular among car buyers. Hence, we draw a comparison between the features of Maruti Suzuki Celerio & Tata Tiago to see who wins this race.
Design &Styling:
Tata Tiago NRG is subtle in its styling and gets body coverings all around in a typical crossover fashion. There are artificial skid plates on both the bumpers, roof rails on top, roof-mounted spoiler. The car gets 14-inch alloy wheels as a part of the NRG package. The Tiago NRG is offered in three colour options – Malabar Silver, Canyon Orange and Fuji White.
The most exciting Maruti Suzuki Celerio feature is the smeared-eyeliner-like effect beneath the headlights is done in gloss black finish and that houses the circular fog lamps. The car gets X-themed graphic near the grille along with a protective coating on side body and a base plate on the rear. The new colour options for Celerio X include– Solid Paprika Orange, Arctic White, Glistening Grey, Caffeine Brown, and Torque Blue.
Interiors:
The cabin inside Tiago has a heavy dose of orange. The car has orange inserts around the AC vents, centre console, gearbox housing and on seats in a manner of patterned stitching. It also debuts with a touchscreen music system in the Tiago range. Tiago also features rear parking sensors, follow-me-home headlamps, driver seat belt reminder as well as corner stability control.
The interiors of Celerio mean business, giving out a formal vibe. The cabin layout and elements have the black treatment from the exterior which is then extended to the seats that also gets orange piping. For the safety of its driver, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio features a driver-side airbag as a standard option. Meanwhile, the passenger airbags and ABS are provided as an optional fitment across all trims.
Engine & Transmission:
Tata Tiago NRG as the cross hatch gets 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.05-litre diesel engine. While the petrol engine is good for churns out the power and torque outputs of 84 hp and 114 Nm, the diesel engine makes out 69 hp and 140 Nm.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio specifications include an engine of 998cc, three-cylinder petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The engine is good for shedding out respective power and torque outputs of 68 hp and 90 Nm. The car gets an option of a five-speed AMT as well.
Pricing:
The Tiago NRG has been introduced in India for an introductory price of Rs 5.49 lakhs for petrol and Rs 6.31 lakhs. According to an authorised Maruti dealer, Maruti Suzuki Celerio price in Delhi retails between Rs 4.75-5.61 lakhs across its eight variants.

Reviewing Maruti Suzuki Celerio
Maruti Suzuki Celerio was the first AMT-equipped (automated-manual transmission) vehicle in the country and was launched by the company in 2014. With impressive technology and contemporary design, the car sounds appealing to most car buyers.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio features dynamic exteriors that include stylish Front Grille Design, elegant back door garnish and wide rear, making for a stunning first impression. It is topped with a chrome garnish along with fog lamp bezels.  During the 2017 facelift, the Celerio also got a sporty mesh grille, a chrome lining on the bonnet, redesigned fog lamps, and restyled front and rear bumpers. The new colour options for Celerio include – Solid Paprika Orange, Arctic White, Glistening Grey, Caffeine Brown, and Torque Blue.
For safety, Maruti Suzuki Celerio features come with a driver’s airbags as a standard option. The safety kit also comprises of a seatbelt reminder for the driver. Additionally, ABS and passenger airbags are offered as optional extras on all variants. Celerio is also Pedestrian, Offset and side impact safety compliant.
When it comes to power, Maruti Celerio specifications include the Auto Gear Shift technology that will make your drive effortless. The car is powered by the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder engine that generates power of 68PS (59PS for CNG) and 90Nm of torque (78Nm for CNG). Transmission is carried either by a 5-speed manual or (AGS), which is commonly known as an automated manual transmission (AMT). Celerio comes with impressive fuel efficiency figures of 23.1kmpl and 31.79km/kg for petrol and CNG variants, respectively.
Maruti also launched an enhanced version of Celerio called the Maruti CelerioX. It is more of an accessorised version of the regular Celerio hatchback. This new version of the vehicle is a carry forward concerning Maruti Suzuki Celerio features. The changes are purely cosmetic and comprise of black plastic cladding around the sides and wheel arches, black alloy wheels and a silver scuff plate at the rear. The redesigned front bumper gets black coating between the headlamps and the fog lamps too, while the front grille shows a new honeycomb pattern.  The exciting factor is of how the roof rails, exterior door handles and the outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) are perfected in black.
According to an authorised Maruti dealer, Maruti Suzuki Celerio price in Dehradun retails between Rs 4.75-5.61 lakhs across its eight variants.

5 upcoming AMT cars in 2018
New Post has been published on https://www.autohubindia.com/5-upcoming-amt-cars-in-2018/
5 upcoming AMT cars in 2018
Automated Manual Transmissions (AMTs) are suddenly the talk of the town. It’s been less than three years since the Maruti Celerio introduced our country to this technology by becoming the first mainstream product to offer an AMT. Fast forward to 2018 and we already have at least half a dozen popular cars that offer an optional AMT. What’s more, there are a handful of cars that about to jump on the AMT bandwagon. Here, in this post, we take a look at 5 upcoming AMT cars in 2018 –
Hyundai Santro AMT
The Indian subsidiary of Hyundai seems to be planning to launch a new entry-level hatchback to replace the Eon. There have been talks that it will be known as the ‘new Santro’. While the company is yet to confirm this, it has already said that its upcoming small car will offer an AMT. Prices of the next-gen Santro will likely start around Rs 3 lakh and the new tallboy will become the first-ever Hyundai car in India to come with an AMT.
Tata Nexon Petrol & Diesel AMT
It looks like the launch of the AMT-equipped Nexon is merely days away. There have been talks that the company has already started registering bookings of the upcoming variants. Chances are that the prices of the AMT models will start at Rs 7 lakh. The highlight here is that the AMT option will be available on both Petrol and Diesel engine variants. With this, the Nexon will soon become the only compact-SUV to offer an AMT with both the engine options. The sub-4m SUV will get a 6-speed Automated Manual Transmission that will offer both Creep and Hill Hold features.
Mahindra KUV100 Petrol & Diesel AMT
The second compact SUV to offer an AMT option on both its fuel variants will be the Mahindra KUV100. Expected to launch by the middle of this year, the KUV100 will get a 5-speed AMT unit. Its prices are likely to start below Rs 5 lakh. With its launch, the KUV100 AMT will become the most affordable car in Mahindra’s lineup to offer an automatic gearshift technology. It may be noted here that the KUV100 has pretty much failed to garner a positive response from the market. The new AMT variants, however, should inject at least some appeal into the slow-selling crossover.
Ford Figo AMT
Ford’s new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine from the Dragon series of motors made its debut on the Figo-based Freestyle crossover. However, this engine will also make it to the upcoming Figo facelift. The new engine outputs 95 bhp and 115 Nm, which makes it the most powerful 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated engine in its segment. It will come mated to a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. Expect the starting price to be under Rs 6 lakh.
Ford Aspire AMT
Of course, the new engine and the AMT will even make it to the updated Figo-based Aspire compact sedan. The Aspire facelift will feature the same 1.2-litre Dragon-series motor and the same 5-speed AMT. However, it’s likely to offer a beige-black colour theme for the cabin along with a few more features.  The company is yet to divulge concrete information on the launch date but we expect the new Figo and the new Aspire to hit the market towards the middle of this year.
So, which of these upcoming AMT cars in 2018 are you waiting for?

Special edition Suzuki Celerio limited to 500 units, and comes with more standard equipment for better value 2017-08-18 11:55 Suzuki has announced a new special edition of its Celerio city car. The City edition goes up against the Skoda Citigo and Kia Picanto, is limted to 500 units, and starts from £7,499. The Celerio City is based on the slightly cheaper SZ2 model, which comes as standard with a DAB radio, six airbags, driver’s seat height adjustment, and central locking. On top of that, the City brings alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, black side mouldings, black B pillar trims and City edition badging. It therefore bridges the gap between the SZ2 and the pricier SZ3 model. Image 3 of 4 Image 3 of 4 The Celerio City comes with two solid colour options (Superior White and Super Black) and optional metallic paint (Blue Metallic, Grey, and Silver). White comes as standard but you will have to pay an extra £465 for the other exterior colour options. • Best city cars on sale With Suzuki’s £500 reduction campaign in place until 30th September, the Celerio City starts at £7,499 - £500 more than SZ2 spec. Tata Tiago hatchback & Tigor compact sedan get new paint scheme
New Post has been published on https://www.autohubindia.com/tata-tiago-hatchback-tigor-compact-sedan-get-new-paint-scheme/
Tata Tiago hatchback & Tigor compact sedan get new paint scheme
Tata Motors now offers a new paint scheme on the Tiago and Tigor. Both cars are now available in Granite Grey colour. Tata Motors has already started dispatching cars with the new paint scheme to dealerships across India. Tata has also dropped the slow-selling Striker Blue colour in favour of Titanium Grey. Tiago and Tigor owners seem to be opting mostly for the Brown, white and orange colours. Both cars are now available in 6 colours: Brown, white, orange, grey, silver and red. The Tiago and the Tigor together sell more than 10,000 cars each month, making them Tata’s best sellers.
Both the Tiago and Tigor are built at Tata Motors’ Sanand factory, utilizing the capacity that’s now vacant due to the poor-selling Nano. Both cars share engines and gearboxes. The 1.2 liter-3 cylinder petrol engine on both cars makes 84 Bhp-114 Nm, and gets 5 speed manual and AMT options. The 1.1 liter-3 cylinder turbo diesel engine produces 70 Bhp and 150 Nm, and gets a 5 speed manual gearbox as standard. Twin airbags and ABS are offered on higher variants of the car.
Soon, Tata will launch high-performance variants of the Tiago and Tigor under the JTP badge. They’ll both use 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engines with 108 Bhp-150 Nm outputs, stiffer suspension and a close ratio 5 speed manual gearbox.
Both the Tiago and Tigor are priced much lower than competition, and gives them a big edge. In the Tiago’s case, the car is not only larger, powerful and more equipped than its direct competition – the Maruti WagonR and Celerio models, but is also much more cheaper.
The Tiago starts from Rs. 3.26 lakhs while the WagonR and Celerio are at least a lakh costlier, variant to variant. In the Tigor’s case, it’s a proper price warrior, cheaper than the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and the likes. The Tigor starts from Rs. 4.71 lakhs while the Dzire is priced at over Rs. 5.5 lakhs.
