The summer seems to be slowly making it’s presence felt, so around about this time every year, I assemble my book reading list from now (beginning of May) to (the end of September). This year I have delved into my old bookcase and dusted off some of my Cecil Roberts volumes. An English author, now by n’ large forgotten, this is not going to be an easy read. The language, the ability to say four hundred words when one would do, I’m hoping will not hinder the enjoyment of this difficult but brilliant writer.
